Needing help with medical bills & living costs for spinal injuries and another surgery

Hello,

I am a mom of 3 kiddos unable to work at the moment following spinal injuries  from 3 different car accidents  that almost took my life. They have certainly taken my ability to drive the hour to town (we live remotely due to my husbands job) to be employed or sit at a desk for more than 10 minutes. My husband works in renewable energy but he is the only one that’s able to work and with the inflation and rising costs of everything we really need help. I have applied twice for disability and of course been denied. I don’t know what to do anymore, have exhausted all of our HSA funds, and am just feeling defeated. I have been looking for remote jobs and have applied for over 300 of them on indeed in the last 2 years. Let me back up a little and say I’m 2018 I had vertebrae replacement surgery in my neck, 3 months post op I drove for the first time on my own since surgery to do some last minute Christmas shopping for our kids. A woman ran a red light as I was making a left hand turn going 65-70 mph and damaged my spine even further. I was feeling better than I had in 10 years after surgery up until that point. Since then, I have tried to pick up the pieces with no luck on a job that I could work remotely therefore we have really suffered these past 4 years. I have suffered every day since then with immense pain that doesn’t go away, tons of dr appointments, tons of therapy, I need 3 different surgeries 1 to put the vertebrae replacement hardware back into place, 1 to relieve the pressure where I’m bone on bone, and another that I have an appointment with the surgeon next month about. I am hoping that someone can help or even give me a remote job so I can earn the money I need. I’m desperate. I feel like a burden and just need to be able to help provide for my children and get the help I need to maybe one day have a normal life again. The pain is never ending and the stress is killing me being unable to provide for our children.

HEART TRANSPLANT.

Hello to any kind person out there,

My name is Leroy Doda.

I currently reside in Italy. Working in a restaurant as a part timer, and taking care of my father, who’s being diagnosed of a  (cardiomyopathy. )

unfortunately he has been suffering from this issue for over 13years.

Most of the hospitals we have visited kept saying something else until the 14th year when his health slowly started degenerating, that was when he was finally diagnosed of the actual situation.

After we got the letter from the doctor of his diagnostics, we were also told of the best solution to fix his health issues alongside the medical cost, which is

( $1.38 million )

I felt devastated because i don’t know where i can get such money. I was able to come up with $176.000 but still not in any way close to the amount that  is required of me.

Please  kind and wonderful people we will really need and appreciate your help so much with what ever you can afford to offer.

I really dont want to lose my father because he is still at his 70s .

We tried to seek for options that are affordable but there was non to be found apart from the recommendation of the doctor which is the heart transplant.

Once again please help me

Save my father life .

Help my son get surgery

I really hope this message reaches people who can help us. My name is Beaulah, and I am reaching out to all those who are able to help today. With a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency, I find myself in an incredibly difficult situation, and I’m turning to the kindness and generosity of people and organizations for assistance.

My son, Mth’omde, is currently facing a severe health trauma that has put our family in a state of distress. He needs surgery, and the medical expenses have become overwhelming for me as a single mother. Despite my best efforts, we are struggling to meet the costs of his treatment, which includes hospitalization, surgery, medications, and ongoing medical monitoring. He was born with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) and he had surgery to correct it. However, due to a recent car accident and trauma to his gut area, this has resulted in him needing special surgery due to the delicate nature of his diaphragm.

I am a mother who is deeply devoted to her child, and it pains me to see him endure so much suffering and not be able to do anything because of our financial difficulties. I am doing everything within my power to ensure he receives the care he needs, but the financial burden has become unbearable. I have exhausted my savings and resources, and we are now at a point where we have nowhere else to turn.

This is why I am humbly reaching out to you today begging for your support. Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in my son’s life and bring us closer to providing him with the care and treatment he deserves.

If you are in a position to help, please consider making a donation to assist with Mth’omde’s medical expenses. Your support will not only provide much-needed financial relief but will also offer hope to our family during this trying time.

Your compassion and generosity will not go unnoticed, and we will be forever grateful for your assistance. Every donation brings us one step closer to giving my son a chance at a healthier and happier life.

I understand that times are tough for many, and I appreciate your consideration and compassion. If you are unable to contribute financially, your thoughts, prayers, and kind words are also greatly appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering our plea for help. From the depths of my heart, I thank you for your kindness and support during this challenging chapter of our lives.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Beaulah Soqele [paypal.me/MamaBeaulah]

Life Altering Diagnosis-Rare Cancer, PLEASE HELP!

Hello, my name is Sandra. My husband Daniel is a strong and caring man, who beat a rare cancer but struggles with its horrible aftermath. His journey, during Covid 19 dental protocols, began in early 2021 with a simple toothache. Months were wasted trying to save the molar until the tooth was finally pulled. When the socket would not heal, a biopsy showed a finding of Cancer, more specifically – Verrucous Carcinoma of the lower right jaw. We wanted to experience denial, but we just cried in our shock & grief.
It took more time to find a specific cancer doctor, make appointments and obtain more imaging, but the cancer did not wait and continued to grow – eating away at Daniel’s jaw!  He would require a mandibulectomy with fibular free flap, which means remove that part of jaw and replace it with bone and tissue from his lower leg. Horrible news and even more shock and crying together!
The surgery was complicated and took our doctor along with a plastic surgeon over six hours to complete. But then we received the ominous warning that blood clots are a risk in the next few days, and could cause the graft to fail. The worst fear occurred three days later when a clot blocked a vein in his new graft, so he went immediately to surgery! Daniel was placed in a medically induced coma for three days to ensure the vein remained open. Scary and heart wrenching cannot begin to describe how his life was in such a fragile state, and I just waited and prayed next to him.

Daniel’s recovery took even longer due to muscle atrophy after the coma but the main victory was the graft was stable and no longer at risk. We finally got a win in his cancer journey. Focus soon turned to allowing Daniel to eat puréed food along with some physical therapy to get him out of bed and walking. Daniel was hospitalized for 18 days, and was discharged right before Christmas-an amazing gift!

When I finally brought Daniel home, he was so frail that he needed to be cared for completely. I became his caregiver-feeding, bathing and dressing him for several weeks, under my FMLA. We had a visiting nurse check his surgical sites until I was comfortable changing bandages on his neck and leg (infected soon after coming home). Daniel also worked with an occupational therapist, to get him moving. Eventually, physical therapy appointments started and they were a weekly motivation for Daniel to fully recover!

The next hurdle to climb was dealing with the loss of nine teeth when the jaw was removed. We found one dentist who specialized with oral cancer patients, then he retired during Covid, just our luck. More time was wasted until Daniel was fitted for a denture/ bridge(not covered by dental insurance). Unfortunately, the denture never fit well because the floor of his mouth is a bulkier piece of flesh from his lower leg. So the denture is for show and speech, but cannot be used for eating. Daniel continues to have pain and struggles. He has a ten inch scar on his neck along with facial asymmetry and chronic leg pain, but we are staying strong together.

Our request is for assistance with hospital/dental expenses along with lost income that has reached $44,000 in remaining debt. We just need a helping hand-any donation will be greatly appreciated. We are so very grateful for your kindness and beautiful heart!

Thank you,
Sandra and Daniel

Getting overwhelmed faster than I can keep up

Worked for Walgreens for 14 years, then put myself through nursing school (became diabetic) and FINALLY got my RN.

Worked for a hospital in Northern Michigan for 18 months, moving from Nurse to Charge nurse quickly.

Then I got cancer.  Insurance paid for some of the treatments, but not all (I SURVIVED!!!).  The hospital, I thought, would be understanding and sympathetic, but I was wrong.  They transferred me to a completely garbage job, making half of what I had been, even though I was still able to do the job I’d been doing.

Then things got worse.  I had to go through a hysterectomy due to issues with the cancer treatment (survived THAT too), and during the recovery, started having completely insane symptoms that made it virtually impossible to work, and went on short-term, then long-term disability.  Turns out that I somehow got Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, or POTS.  I can no longer stand for more than a few minutes, sit for more than 5 minutes, or walk unassisted for more than 50 feet.  Getting up from a seated position makes me feel like I just finished a 100-yard dash, and navigating simple things like moving a gallon of milk or walking to the bathroom leave me out of breath.  Plus, it screwed up my internal thermometer, so now 70 degrees makes me sweat uncontrollably, and I need the AC blowing almost constantly during this heat to keep sweat from pouring into my eyes.

I went from being a charge nurse at a major hospital, taking care of dozens of patients and managing an entire staff of workers, camping on weekends, and basically being an active member of my neighborhood and community, to spending most of my life either in bed, or lying on a couch WISHING I could go for a walk outside.

Then things got worse.  I managed to navigate the perils of Disability insurance, and the world of governmental aid, when my long-term disability insurance company decided that I wasn’t disabled anymore (?) and cancelled my claim.  Luckily, I was able to get on SSD JUST after that, so I was still able to pay rent and eat and such, but that was about it, as the SSD monthly amount was less than HALF of the long-term disability.

During much of this time (about 3 years, to date), I have been working with a small savings, and credit cards to pay for everything.  I am not HUGELY in debt on the cards, but that is about to change, as my savings is almost gone.  My housing payment is over $1000 a month.  Food Stamps are helping with food, but not enough.  This last summer has been horrendous on my power bill, cuz of my heat problems.  Suffice to say that I need help.

I’m just under $40k in debt, including medical bills, student loans, credit cards (3), and my car loan.  SSD pays $1300.  From this month on, that $40k in debt will increase by about $2k a month WITH SSD helping.

I am hoping that there might be someone out there with the heart and wherewithal to help me in my time of need.  Anything helps.  Thank you so much for reading.

Desperate for help with Bills, living expenses, and medical bills!

Hello!

I am so embarrassed that it has come to the point where I have to ask people for financial help, but at this point my pride has to take a back seat because I have run out of options. I have had a very hard last few years that has lead me here. I will start by saying I am someone who has worked since I was 14 years old and almost always having at least two jobs to make ends meet. I love my parents dearly but they are of very modest means and helped when they could, but I didn’t want to be a burden to them so I worked very hard to be financially able to support myself, even thought it was extremely rough at times and the choices between food and bills was often a choice, I always managed to get by. I made sure that if anything my bills would at least be paid. Things got bad when I was laid off and for the first time since 14 I found myself without a job, bills and expenses began to get more and more behind as I searched for work and I started to DoorDash and do anything I could to try and catch up but then I had medical issues involving my kidneys and I was uninsured due to no job so my medical bills are around $8,000 on top of everything else. I just can’t seem to catch up and am now at the point that I have bills in collections, my credit is ruined, and my car is about to be repossessed if I can’t come up with the money to pay it, if that happens I won’t even be able to make any sort of income because I live over 45 minutes from the new job I just found. So I am just asking if you are able to help with anything at all it would be so appreciated and I promise to pay it forward once I get back on my feet. Thank you for even taking the time to read my post and bless you for what you are doing to help people. Thank you! My Cash App is $Ashleighvp

Medical Bills on Credit Cards

At the start of Covid in 2020, I lost my job and things began to go downhill financially from there.  I was forced to move back in with my ex because the rent on my apartment had gone from $625/month to $1100/month in only two years.  It took many months to start collecting benefits and in the meantime, I was only able to pay the minimum amounts on my two credit cards.  I found a new job in early 2021 and have been paying on my credit cards every month, but the interest rate had made the debt balloon to $6,000 at that time.

Between 2021-2023, I also added the following financial debt which amounted to around $9,000.

  • My sister tragically passed away and I had to pay some funeral expenses $1,000 and travel costs of $1,000 since my family is on the opposite coast.
  • I had some expensive dental work of around $3,000 out of pocket costs for a root canal and a partial denture.
  • I have a disease called keratoconus, which is slowly distorting my vision.  In an effort to slow the progression of the disease, I had cross-linking surgery done on both eyes.  The insurance did not cover all of the costs and I was responsible for $4,000.
  • I also suffer from lichen planus, a skin disease with no known cause or real cure.  Insurance didn’t pay for the tests or the doctor to the tune of $700.

I’m down to owing around $13,000 now.  Any amount would help and all monies will be paying Citibank and Chase.

Thank you for your assistance!

Appendectomy

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am requesting help because my partner is very unwell. He had been complaining of fever and intense headaches for a while now but we thought it was just the volatile weather changes. The pain took a different turn last week which forced him to go to the hospital for check tests. He was diagnosed with Appendicitis and was told he needed urgent surgery to avoid any rupture, as this would cause the infection to spread to other organs, which is life threatening.

He cannot go to work at the moment and I am in between jobs, so cannot raise the required amount for surgery. I have just paid the rent and bills and we’re both in shock and confused on what to do. It all happened so fast and we have spent the whole week looking for help everywhere, because the Dr requested he comes in as fast as possible. He was programmed for Monday but he can’t go in due to lack of funds. We have to pay for the treatment. There’s no stable income to rely on at this time with both our situations.

A lady I approached mentioned ‘Begging Money.com’, which is why I am sending this request for help. I can’t get a loan as my credit score is not at it’s best. We’re both very embarrassed with the situation and have come as a last resort. It’s our last stop. This is a sincere plea for help. I am terrified of anything going wrong because I know how a ruptured Appendix can turn a life upside down. Please help us.

Your Generosity Can Make a Difference, Every Dollar Counts.

I hope this message finds you well. Today, I am reaching out with a heartfelt request for your support. I humbly share my story, as I believe my journey reflects resilience, determination, and the unyielding pursuit of a dream, even when faced with significant obstacles.

At the age of 33, I find myself deeply committed to the field of continuing education, working tirelessly to create meaningful impact in my role as Director of Strategic Partnerships. What sets my journey apart is the fact that I have reached this position without the privilege of a college education, something I have ardently aspired to attain.

Growing up in a Hispanic family, I witnessed my parents’ relentless efforts to make ends meet, a pursuit that instilled in me the value of hard work and determination. Unfortunately, my dream of higher education was curtailed by the harsh reality of having to support not only myself but also my niece. Today, at the age of 19, she is enrolled in college and working part-time, and I couldn’t be prouder of her accomplishments.

I have been with my current company for the past six years, and through hard work and dedication, I was fortunate enough to purchase a home on my own. However, life has presented me with significant financial challenges in recent years. Approximately two years ago, my mother was diagnosed with emphysema, which prevented her from returning to work. In addition, she has recently suffered two heart attacks, leading to a deterioration in her health. I have been shouldering the financial burden of her household bills and medical expenses and supporting myself. This responsibility has caused me to fall behind on my credit card debts.

This July, my family experienced further hardships as I lost my uncle and grandmother, necessitating two trips to Puerto Rico for their funerals. While these trips were emotionally essential, they exacerbated my financial struggles, making it increasingly difficult to keep up with my bills and commitments.

Despite these hardships, I maintain unwavering faith that God will guide me through these challenges. Still, I acknowledge that a helping hand can accelerate my path to financial stability and, ultimately, enable me to continue providing for my family while maintaining my home.

I kindly request your consideration in providing a donation to support my journey. Your contribution, no matter the size, would be invaluable in helping me navigate these turbulent waters and ensure the well-being of my family. I deeply appreciate your time and attention to my story and sincerely hope you can find it in your heart to assist me in this time of need.

Thank you for your generosity and kindness.

Medical Bills Please HELP!

Hi,

I am having some rough times right now. I lost my job in May for my missing too many days due to an illness which was covered under FMLA. My employer couldn’t fire me for this so they just said that I was no longer a good fit for my job. I was there for almost 5 years with no discipline problems at all.

Anyway, right after losing my job I fell and twisted my back and had to be transported to the hospital in an ambulance. So, with emergency room, x-rays doctor bills and the ambulance bill, I am unable to pay these bills.

I am working Instacart and making enough money to get by, I just don’t have any extra for these bills.

Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated and I promise to pay it forward the first chance I get.

A plea for hope

My journey has been one of profound struggle, but I’m not here to dwell on the past; instead, I want to share my vision for a brighter future, a future where my children and I can break free from the chains of addiction and trauma that have plagued my family for generations. You can help by providing funds for the admission fees for red road recovery a treatment facility on the westcoast of canada

I’m a 29-year-old mother, and my story begins in a world where addiction was not an exception but the painful norm. My mother and grandparents were all ensnared by addiction, a legacy I believe is rooted in the scars of colonization and the harrowing experiences of residential schools. These historical traumas have cast long shadows over my family, perpetuating a cycle of suffering that has been almost impossible to escape. Now, as a mother of three wonderful children, aged 11, 5, and 3, I am acutely aware that they deserve a life filled with love, stability, and opportunity—a life free from the grip of addiction and trauma. They deserve the chance to experience a normal childhood, with parents who are present, healthy, and nurturing.I have reached a point in my life where I am tired—tired of struggling, tired of being consumed by my own demons, and tired of the selfishness that addiction breeds. My children deserve better, and it’s time for me to put them first. This is why I am reaching out to you, the generous and kind-hearted individuals who have the power to make a difference. I am humbly requesting your support in funding a treatment program that can help me break free from the chains of addiction and trauma, paving the way for a brighter future for my children and me.With your help, I believe we can rewrite our family’s narrative. We can be a beacon of hope and resilience, showing that it’s never too late to heal, to rebuild, and to create a life filled with love and purpose.Your donation, no matter the size, will be a lifeline, a symbol of faith in our journey towards recovery and transformation. Together, we can break the cycle that has haunted my family for generations Your generosity can be the catalyst for change, not just in my life but in the lives of my precious children.Thank you for taking the time to hear my story and for considering supporting

Need help with medical bills

I got diagnosed with a brain tumor a few months ago and needed immediate surgery to have it removed. I have been out of work since then due to complications and it’s looking like I will be out for at least 3 more months. Needless to say this has all been very expensive, my insurance has covered some but I’m unable to pay the balances and I’ve exhausted all my options. Bills are piling up and I don’t have much of a support system, so here I am. I am please asking for any donation that you may be able to  provide to help me get through this. Any amount will help.

My cashapp is Tessa0522

All donations will go towards paying off medical builds or household bills that have been piling up due to my inability to work. Thank you all so much for your generosity.

TYPE 1 DIABETIC UNABLE TO KEEP UP WITH MEDICAL BILLS

Hello,

My name is Steven Gray. I’m a type 1 diabetic of two years who has been working as a line cook for 10 years. It was difficult to keep working this position despite my veteran experience in restaurants when I was diagnosed with my illness. Even before this diagnosis, I was unable to keep up with my bills such as rent which my landlord insists on raising by $200/per year as well as electric, food, gas, basic living needs.

Now that I also have an autoimmune disease, my medical bills from recurring sickness and diabetes complications such as a gastroparitis diagnosis, shingles, and consistent fevers, morning sickness, proximal neuropathy, as well as needing to buy two types of insulin, I have gone into debt severely. This has caused me to sink into a deep depression. I was diagnosed with ADHD, Social Anxiety, and Major Depression.

It’s difficult finding a way out of this, but I have big plans to also make money online with my own viral YouTube video channels, dropify business, t-shirt, mug, poster, patch, and sticker business as well as playing a cover song set list at bars on weekend nights on top of my regular job, then flip the money into a food truck business where I can sell menu items from my own cookbook and later open a cafe and bookstore of my own to assist my community with healthy eating. I appreciate any interest in helping my plight and wish good blessings to all who have read my story!

Thank you,

– Steven
