Dear kind supporters,
I am reaching out to ask for help during a very difficult time. I am currently on disability and receive $1,142 per month, which goes toward my bills and basic necessities with very little left over for unexpected expenses.
My vehicle, a 2011 Nissan Rogue, is in need of important repairs, including a rack and pinion replacement and a driver-side control arm repair. The estimated cost is around $2,500, which is more than I am able to afford on my limited income.
Having a reliable vehicle is extremely important because I live in a small town with no public transportation. My car is not just a convenience—it is how I get to appointments, buy groceries, and handle everyday needs. I also live with my 75-year-old mother, who depends on me for transportation. She has an upcoming hernia surgery, and I am the only person available to take her to the procedure, follow-up appointments, and her regular doctor visits. I also help her with grocery shopping and other necessities.
I am doing my best to manage, but this repair is beyond what I can handle financially. Any amount of help would mean so much to us and would help keep us safe and able to get where we need to go.
If you are able to contribute, I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any kindness or support you can offer.
