I hate having to ask others for help, but I am at a dead end. I need help paying for school and getting caught up with my car payment.

I am behind $1600 on my car and I risk getting it repoed, so I wouldn’t be able to drive to school or work. I live 45 minutes away from my college, so this would be a huge problem.

I also still owe $1000 on my college account, so I can’t sign up for fall 2026 classes. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem, but my college has decided to cut my program, so I only have 3 years left where I can attend the meteorology classes I need, so I can’t afford to miss any semesters.

I also am behind on my phone bill, so I do not have any phone service, so I can’t go out and do DoorDash to make extra money. I do have a job as a server where I make $13.50/hr plus tips, but I am just so far behind in everything that I can’t get caught up. (At the start of the year I had another job, but it wasn’t paying enough, which is why I got so behind.)

I’m asking for $5000-$10,000 to help get caught up and help pay for this 2026 fall semester of college.

Hello, my name is Mason. I am a physics student at Arizona State University, and I was finishing my third year when an unpaid balance stopped me from being able to continue.

I believed my state grants were being used toward my tuition. I later found out that the funding had not gone through the way I thought it had, and ASU had allowed a balance to build on my account. That balance is now approximately $13,000 and continues to increase by around $100 every month.

The hardest part is that I have grant money available for the upcoming school year. The funding has already been awarded to help me continue my education, but ASU will not allow me to register or use it until my previous balance is paid.

I feel like I am stuck in a loop. I have help available for my next year of school, but I cannot access that help because I owe money from the previous year. The longer I am unable to pay it, the more the balance grows.

I have tried to solve this myself. ASU will allow me to make payments, but making monthly payments alone will not allow me to return to classes. I also applied for a bank loan, but the bank denied me because of the ASU debt, was sent to collections with in a month.

I work full time teaching chess and helping manage chess tournaments. I am also a manager, and I take my responsibilities seriously. I am not afraid to work, and I am not expecting someone else to fix my life for me. I am asking because even while working full time, paying $13,000 quickly enough to return to school is beyond what I can currently do.

Outside of work and school, I also help care for my mother while she is dealing with Addison’s disease and trying to get her health stabilized. My family does not have the financial resources to pay this balance for me, so I have been trying to find every possible way forward on my own.

Physics is not simply a subject I happened to choose. It is what I want to build my future around. I have already completed nearly three years of my degree, and I do not want everything I have worked toward to end because of a financial mistake and a balance that keeps growing.

I am trying to raise $13,000 to clear the past due ASU balance so I can use the grants I have already received, register for classes again, and continue working toward my physics degree.

Any contribution would help bring the balance down. Even if you are unable to donate, sharing this request could help it reach someone who may be able to assist.

It is difficult for me to ask strangers for help, but I have reached the point where I cannot solve this quickly enough alone. I want to return to school, finish what I started, and build a future where I am able to support myself and my family.

Hello, we are a military family. We have been stationed abroad for the last four years. To many, this would seem like a dream and I was so hopeful it would be! But we are what is called ‘remote’ and it is not easy. Not even a little. Right before we left, I lost both my parents. I can not describe the devastation, the emptiness, or how much it has changed me.

While here I’ve had two very difficult pregnancies and we are so grateful to say that our daughters are everything to us. Due to complications, there will not be anymore babies. Although we wish for more. My husband is estranged from his family (despite our efforts to rebuild and repair) He also works overnight shifts so barring the occasional phone call from a friend, I am alone. We’ve spent our savings just trying to make life work here. Medical mostly and baby supplies.

We are coming home soon and there are two things we need desperately. $3000 for moving expenses (we spent more than that coming here. It’s not all covered, or it is eligible for reimbursement) and $5000 for tuition.

I desperately need to complete my degree this year. I stopped for all the above reasons but if I could finish (I am not legally allowed to work here) when we return, I could get a better job and elevate my family.
