We have been on a bumpy road for a few years now and have finally hit a very low point now to where we can not make rent or utility bill payments.

I was doing quite well work-wise and providing for my family but was hit in a head-on collision, lost my car, and was forced out of work due to being disabled for around 6 months. The person who caused the accident did not have insurance so I was left with no vehicle or means of getting a new one right away. My wife who was a stay at home mom with the kids, decided to get back to work to support us.

Fast forward to now, my wife’s company hit her with a layoff because of a merger. So since July, we have been struggling to stay on our feet.

I recently was laid off from my new job in my new career as a clinical research associate. I was not given notice that I was going to be laid off and was not given a severance was only paid one month more of pay, and let go that day. I was in the process of rebuilding my financial portfolio as I have been out of work from my previous job for 11 1/2 months where I was forced to take off and go on disability because I broke my foot outside of work where this is illegal. I did not know that and they would not let me come back to work, having said all that, I am now in a negative financial space as I depleted my savings and my bank account to survive for the last two years. I thought I was getting back on my feet when I unexpectedly was laid off I am asking for help with my rent and bills for December, as I am optimistically positive that I will be gainfully employed by the end of the year no later than the first of next quarter.  I have my masters degree and years of work experience behind me that allows me to be confident that I can land another great job within my new career. I recently graduated from university with a 4.0, merit-based scholarship, and multiple honor society nominations but I have seriously struggled to find a job. So far I’ve applied to over a hundred jobs and counting. Since I couldn’t find a job for the past year, my girlfriend dumped me and kicked me out a few months ago. It’s been unusually warm this fall so it hasn’t been that bad until the last two weeks, where temperatures are getting 30F-40F and it’s getting unbearable. I have thankfully found a part-time gig that gives me enough to not starve, but it is nowhere near enough to afford rent even with multiple roommates. I’m asking for donations to help me get some kind of housing, whether it be a tent, a room I can pay a few months in advance, or whatever. I had a car but it was hit three times in two days while I was staying in it and has become unusable, not to mention insurance, inspection, etc. have all run out. If I get enough donations my plan is to get my car fixed so I can stay in that during the winter. I tried contacting homeless shelters but they all want me to go into months long drug and rehab programs even though I don’t drink or do any drugs, and I’d have to stay as an in-patient and leave what little I do have in my backpack behind. And, of course, I would lose the job I just barely managed to get.

I just got out of a co-dependent/toxic relationship and just learned about co-dependency, trauma, CPTSD etc. I can’t believe how selfless I’ve been all my life, but I’ll continue to help and do good in a healthy way going forward. I am a desperate single Mom, 34 years old, living with Type 1 Diabetes, and I live on my own with 2 children.  They are 13 & 6, both super sweet and silly. Everything I have accomplished in life has been for them!

Currently we need helpful hearts willing to donate money for our Rent, bills, and Insulin pump supplies.  I am in between jobs and have fallen behind on payments.

I obtained my Registered Nursing Degree in 2021 and have been working in a local hospital since graduating.  My passion is Postpartum Care; there is nothing like welcoming life into the world and assisting parents with newborn care.  As you may know there is a nursing shortage, which causes high stress levels, and mandatory overtime shifts.  I do not have the childcare to work required 50+ hours weekly.

Thankfully I have a new job that will not require me to work overtime.  The disadvantage is the job start date has been postponed for 3 more weeks! I was able to get Medicaid as my health insurance, but they will not cover my Insulin pump supplies.  I have been wearing a pump to keep my glucose levels maintained for over 10 years.  I have not been wearing my pump due to supply cost, and I have an older pump, making it difficult to get supplies from local discounted medical supply stores.  I am using Insulin pens, with negative results.  My glucose levels have been out of control, along with having symptoms of exhaustion and weight loss.

Along with bills, I am about to be evicted (My landlord notified me of a couple of days ago, even after I let them know of my job status at this time). With no other place for my children and I to move or stay currently.

I have been cleaning friends’ houses for some cash, and waiting on DoorDash to verify me so I can start doing that as well. Sadly, I am so desperate right now with everything piling up that I have decided to publicly ask for assistance.

My life purpose is to love and care for people, and I believe in paying it forward, when I am able.

I am a single mother who recently has gotten my daughter back home after her father took her from me against a court order and his wife basically turned her against me with lies. My daughter was and is my life. So i am thankful to have her back home with me its been a blessing. I have had quite a few health issues that have led to me no longer being able to work. I’m a single dad, 1 in college another still a minor at home with me.

I had a great job in Sept and I got offered a new job which I took. However, by the time my 2 weeks notice was up, the new job went out of business due to financial hardship. Unemployment seems unhelpful because they do not know who to file the claim with.

I only need this months rent (November) as I know I will get a new job and I will live with a friend Dec-getting a new job. I really cannot have an eviction. I have paid my current place 23 months on time, just late this last month, but they are a corporation and won’t help.

Hello, my name is Charles and I am at high risk for eviction. I struggle with bipolar disorder II and lost my job at the end of last month when my best friend and his younger brother were shot and killed in a robery. I have become severely depressed and lost much cognitive function from this. I was able to cover half my rent with my last pay check, but I still owe $325 that was due today.
