I’d like to begin with a thank you for anyone who takes the time to review my post, as well as, all those choosing to assist in relieving my current situation.

I am a single mother who has been going through an extremely difficult divorce for the past 5.5 years from a toxic abusive man and I’m not even close to a finalization. I have been working hard rebuilding for myself & our child to regain stability for the both of us. As he assists with absolutely nothing for either one of us. Regardless I believe all things within this life is for your betterment so, I choose to be as positive & understanding of the fact that my freedom, dignity & respect is worth far more than being in a dysfunctional relationship.  I refuse to be bitter and blame, I much rather become better, forgive and move on within my life.  I unfortunately had a ton of weight placed upon me as a result of all that has occured. While doing my best to turn my lemons into lemonade.

This past Spring I became ill and was diagnosed with Graves my levels were at a critical state and the medication I was placed on created horrible side effects. I was immediately pulled off and scheduled for radioactive treatment(s). Due to my health issue & ability to function at 100%, I had to take a leave of absence from my job in pharma & let go of my lawyer. I could no longer afford the legal costs I had been paying to release myself from my marriage. I held a position as a compounding technician in formulation for 3 years within the corporation.

The endocrinologist stated that the treatments should resolve the problem and force me into Hashimotos, which is more live with able opposed to Graves and the toll it can take on a person. Long story short the high levels of stress for caring and maintaining my household & not having my typical income coming in combined with the treatments.  Had overall little to no effect on my levels.  My numbers began to waiver between critical and the cusp again within 2 months of the treatment. Due to no resolved outcome a new suggestion for treatment prior to needing to consider the need for surgery was made.

I required more time out & instead my job let me go. I was completely blindsided the short term leave I was on completely stopped paying me & my endocrinologist & primary physician’s were not willing to release me back to a full time workable schedule. I did not even have the ability to work in that way, but I would have forced myself if I had no choice. I decided to live of my savings hoping it would not be completely exhausted. Unfortunately I ran out a month ago I applied for financial assistance in a multitude of ways and was approved for state health insurance and some food nothing else came through.

My doctors have finally released me due to the current medication restabilizing my levels (a complete health blessing for the holidays). I’ve been seeking employment opportunities & applied for unemployment when I was let go and 3 months later I am still awaiting a determination due to PA unemployment being so far behind.

I am doing my best to correct the situation I have found myself in as fast as possible without it having a ripple effect on my health. I have very good credit, I have an excellent record with the payments on all my responsibility’s, no debt previously to squashing all of it and now I can not pay a thing, with no savings, no income & no aid, I cannot even apply for a loan due to lacking the ability to pay it back currently.

I spoke with my landlord I pay $1800 a month about being late for the first time ever and needing some time under my circumstances – he stated he felt bad for me and my child but he had bills as do I and he must evict me! I’m an excellent tenant, never late, never a problem and that’s how he works with me – so now in the dead of winter I’m supposed to leave with no money and the ability to go no where with my child.

I can not cover my car insurance so that is being canceled first week of December if I don’t come up with the payment $380 a month. Then I still have phone, sewer, garbage, electric, water and on. To run my place costs me $3,500 a month & it’s the holidays which I can not even consider decorating, tree, presents and all that encompasses – our present this year is stability and maintaining a roof over our head until I find employment.

If anyone can find it in their heart to assist me in my situation, I thank you from the bottom of my heart immensely. I have never been in this position before & ask for assistance to get out of it. My goal is to get back on even footing so I never wind up in this place again.

Hello, my name is John A. I am asking for assistance in order to help my family get back on our feet. I am a father of 3 little ones all under the age of 5. We have been on a bumpy road for a few years now and have finally hit a very low point now to where we can not make rent or utility bill payments.

I was doing quite well work-wise and providing for my family but was hit in a head-on collision, lost my car, and was forced out of work due to being disabled for around 6 months. The person who caused the accident did not have insurance so I was left with no vehicle or means of getting a new one right away. My wife who was a stay at home mom with the kids, decided to get back to work to support us.

Fast forward to now, my wife’s company hit her with a layoff because of a merger. So since July, we have been struggling to stay on our feet.

We have accumulated over $800 of an electricity bill (that for some reason they have not shut off our electricity yet, Thankfully) We have a rent bill of $1580 that is late for November and will most likely not have December. And we have even went so far as to not pay our phones this month due to needing to buy diapers and other baby essentials. I recently was laid off from my new job in my new career as a clinical research associate. I was not given notice that I was going to be laid off and was not given a severance was only paid one month more of pay, and let go that day. I was in the process of rebuilding my financial portfolio as I have been out of work from my previous job for 11 1/2 months where I was forced to take off and go on disability because I broke my foot outside of work where this is illegal. I did not know that and they would not let me come back to work, having said all that, I am now in a negative financial space as I depleted my savings and my bank account to survive for the last two years. I thought I was getting back on my feet when I unexpectedly was laid off I am asking for help with my rent and bills for December, as I am optimistically positive that I will be gainfully employed by the end of the year no later than the first of next quarter.  I have my masters degree and years of work experience behind me that allows me to be confident that I can land another great job within my new career. I recently graduated from university with a 4.0, merit-based scholarship, and multiple honor society nominations but I have seriously struggled to find a job. So far I’ve applied to over a hundred jobs and counting. Since I couldn’t find a job for the past year, my girlfriend dumped me and kicked me out a few months ago. It’s been unusually warm this fall so it hasn’t been that bad until the last two weeks, where temperatures are getting 30F-40F and it’s getting unbearable. I have thankfully found a part-time gig that gives me enough to not starve, but it is nowhere near enough to afford rent even with multiple roommates. I’m asking for donations to help me get some kind of housing, whether it be a tent, a room I can pay a few months in advance, or whatever. I had a car but it was hit three times in two days while I was staying in it and has become unusable, not to mention insurance, inspection, etc. have all run out. If I get enough donations my plan is to get my car fixed so I can stay in that during the winter. I tried contacting homeless shelters but they all want me to go into months long drug and rehab programs even though I don’t drink or do any drugs, and I’d have to stay as an in-patient and leave what little I do have in my backpack behind. And, of course, I would lose the job I just barely managed to get.

Hello Kind People,

I just got out of a co-dependent/toxic relationship and just learned about co-dependency, trauma, CPTSD etc. I can’t believe how selfless I’ve been all my life, but I’ll continue to help and do good in a healthy way going forward. The relationship consumed me and took all my time making me unemployed for a couple of weeks, but I’m starting my new job this month. I am a desperate single Mom, 34 years old, living with Type 1 Diabetes, and I live on my own with 2 children.  They are 13 & 6, both super sweet and silly. Everything I have accomplished in life has been for them!

Currently we need helpful hearts willing to donate money for our Rent, bills, and Insulin pump supplies.  I am in between jobs and have fallen behind on payments.

I obtained my Registered Nursing Degree in 2021 and have been working in a local hospital since graduating.  My passion is Postpartum Care; there is nothing like welcoming life into the world and assisting parents with newborn care.  As you may know there is a nursing shortage, which causes high stress levels, and mandatory overtime shifts.  I do not have the childcare to work required 50+ hours weekly.

Thankfully I have a new job that will not require me to work overtime.  The disadvantage is the job start date has been postponed for 3 more weeks! I was able to get Medicaid as my health insurance, but they will not cover my Insulin pump supplies.  I have been wearing a pump to keep my glucose levels maintained for over 10 years.  I have not been wearing my pump due to supply cost, and I have an older pump, making it difficult to get supplies from local discounted medical supply stores.  I am using Insulin pens, with negative results.  My glucose levels have been out of control, along with having symptoms of exhaustion and weight loss.

Along with bills, I am about to be evicted (My landlord notified me of a couple of days ago, even after I let them know of my job status at this time). With no other place for my children and I to move or stay currently.

I have been cleaning friends’ houses for some cash, and waiting on DoorDash to verify me so I can start doing that as well. Sadly, I am so desperate right now with everything piling up that I have decided to publicly ask for assistance.

My life purpose is to love and care for people, and I believe in paying it forward, when I am able.

Thank you for taking the time to read my request. I am a single mother who recently has gotten my daughter back home after her father took her from me against a court order and his wife basically turned her against me with lies. My daughter was and is my life. So i am thankful to have her back home with me its been a blessing. I have had quite a few health issues that have led to me no longer being able to work. Ive applied for disability but am in the appeals process with no decision date in sight. I most recently had total hip replacement that has left me unable to walk and unable to complete daily living alone. I also just this week went to the dr who is sending me for testing for inflammitory breast cancer. My daughter is finally back where she feels safe and secure and due to me not being able to work i have fallen behind in rent and city utilites.
