Help with living (Russian invasion to Ukraine)

Hello, my name is Libor and I work as self employed bricklayer.

I decided to build a home for my pregnant wife and our little boy. Nothing big, its just 8meters (26feet)wide 13meters (42feet) long just ground floor and no basement and no garage. Just nice small house for four people. We found cheap but precise architect who drawn all the blueprints and everything. wanted build it by my self so we can save money because construction company’s are very expensive. Everything went fine. We’ve got small piece of land from my parents (900m² or 0.2acre) thank we went to a bank to aks for a mortgage ( 60 000€euros/62000$US)and they accepted and send money to our account. So I borrowed an excavator from a friend and he helped me to excavate all the dirt. I paid him still from my savings because I was saving money from bank for the rest of the material all the concrete and  bricks. So I have used most of my savings to start. But in meantime when I wanted to start buying concrete and bricks so I could continue the covid happened and than the Russians invaded ukraine. So the materials went up so high 2x some 3x the price before. So the price of our dream home is now somewhere around 100000euros. Probably impossible to build in this situation. So I bought some concrete and ordered some half the bricks and right now we can’t continue building our home. Im getting less work because even the material for bricklaying is getting expensive so people don’t want it as much so I went down with my prices so now I’m making just 1500euros. And now the food is getting expensive too because the war at ukraine made oil prices go up so all the transportation is more expensive (liter of oil is now 2.2€euros/2.3$us). And energies went also high, gas is very expensive because most of it from Russia.

So now I’m able to pay for our rent and food but we have small flat just two rooms and I don’t know what to do with one kid and other one on the way. We won’t fit in the small flat. Both our parents are also living in small flat. Im able to pay for our rent but now have to buy the cheapest food for my and my wife and some fruit for our little boy. Had to ask my parents to help me pay for energies but can’t do that for too long. So I would like to ask you if you can help us with money we would be great full, so we could at least buy better food and move to bigger flat or start building our home. I’m just being honest situation is getting worst every week. So I’m trying to begg here. If you can, please help us.

Help me, my wife and our 2 little girls with down payment for a home.

Hello, my name is Cody, im married to my wonderful wife Alana of 10 years and we have 2 little girls ages 6 and 7 years old. I just turned 30 years old on Dec. 25th 2021 and my wife is 29 years old and she turns 30 this year in Oct 2022. When I was 18 years old right out of high school and in rural north GA,  I was young and dumb and got in over my head in debt with creditors throwing approvals at me. I thought to myself yeah ill just get this and that on credit because it was so easy to do. Little did I know I was hurting myself by racking up more bills than my $300 per week job could pay for on top of my utilities and rent that I was new to paying. After a couple years of struggling with paying my debts, I met my wife Alana and we fell in love. At this point I had already gotten quiet a few negatives on my credit report which started ruining my credit. My wife was sort of in the same situation with her credit only she had let her mom and dad put utilities and different things in her name which ended up making her credit bad also. After a couple years of dating we got married and had our first daughter in 2014. Right after our 1st child was born I got laid off from my job and couldnt pay our rent anymore and we had no choice but to move from the apartments we were living in. We broke our lease agreement when we moved and the apartment complex took us to court to try and sue us for the remaining months left in our lease which was $10,000. With no money, bad credit and no new job yet and with a brand new baby we had no choice but to file for bankruptcy to keep from being made to pay the $10,000 in court. I saw this as basically our only option so we filed and got out of paying the $10,000. Right after filing bankruptcy I was able to get a really good job welding which started a new career for me which was a blessing from God, my wife is unable to work as we have nobody that has ever been willing to watch our kids for more than 1 hour unfortunately. I have been at my job for a few years now and since we have a little family now I realize how bad I need credit. My biggest dream for my family is to have a home of our own and I have tried and tried to figure out ways for it to happen without any luck. The bankruptcy on our credit reports really hurt any chances of getting our own home. We have been living in a small single wide mobile home for 3 years now, paying $725 per month and its only 2 bedrooms. Our 2 little girls are forced to share a room and I hate it so so bad for them. Over the years we have collected so many belongings, clothes and toys and we have all long outgrew the small mobile home. It has been my dream for so many years now for us to have our own home so that we can stop throwing away our money that I work so so hard for on rent and actually put the money towards something we own. Since we rent, it has taken my dreams of building my girls a playhouse in the backyard and getting them a swingset, painting each of the girls a room of their choice and being able to fix up our home the way we want it to be. None of us can really even do anything outside because we have nothing to do outside, no shade trees or outside toys. All we have outside of our mobile home is a sloped gravel driveway and the mobile home sitting on top of a large hill with no flat spots what so ever in the yard. I want so much more for my wife and kids, I also want to be able to have a yard to mow, a place to work on a vehicle, a place to teach my girls how to ride a bike and the ability to make a garden and a flower bed. All of these things are impossible while renting unfortunately. I regret messing my credit up 10 years ago like I did. I never realized that my credit issues from 18 years old was gonna have such an impact on my life 10 years later, nor did I even think that I would ever be in this kind of situation when I had a family. I am humbly asking as a good, hard working family man, loving husband and father for any type of help what so ever that you are able and willing to give me and my beautiful young family. Im not a bum and I have worked for everything that we own and tried my hardest to provide as the sole provider for my family and the only thing I cant seem to do is get us a home of our own for my girls to grow up in, for us to make family memories in. Over the last 10 years I have had to watch my sister and other family members that havent ever even worked a real job before get a home of their own with ease. There have been family members that have been lucky enough to inherit homes and everyone around us has gotten their own home except for us. We cant get a home with our credit and we have no chance of any type of inheritances in our lifetime unfortunately. I just pray daily that we are lucky enough to get a home of our own some day soon. I am asking for help with anything we can put towards our goal of a down payment for a home for a possible FHA home loan which would be probably 10% down, enough money to possibly buy a mobile home of our own that is used or new or enough to buy a small fixer upper type home because anything would be better than we have now. I have even thought about buying a couple of large buildings to put together to make our own home for us. If we were able to get a small home with an FHA loan, I would assume the minimum would be $80,000 for a small home so 10% would be $8,000 goal or anything beyond that for a mobile home so we can have a home. Anything is appreciated and I know that between me, my wife and our kids it will not be forgotten. Bless you for your contribution to this goal. It seems so far away but maybe with your help it will be closer than we imagine. Thank you!

My paypal username is @cguger and cashapp is $RayGuger, Ray is my middle name.

Thanks for everything and I will be sure to pay it forward in every way possible. Im not going to post a picture on here for privacy and im a shy type of person and dont take many pictures anyways, I apologize for not having a picture of some sort.

Mom is tired but she keeps going

10 years ago I had to divorce an abusive husband and find a way for me and my daughter to survive.  The events following the divorce include filing for bankruptcy, having a vehicle repossessed, somehow finding the bare minimum amount to bury my father that passed away, accumulating thousands and thousands of dollars of debt just to feed us and have a place to live, along with a complete emotional breakdown which lead to health issues.  Mt daughter was born with a blood deficiency so medical bills were overwhelming to say the least.  I began working 3 jobs just to be able to afford a place to leave and food.  I never thought I would ever be out of debt and have security for my daughter.

Well, after 10 long and very difficult years of paying astronomical rent prices I have built my credit up to be qualified to purchase a home!  I am asking if there is anyone that would would be so kind as to offer any donation possible to help aid me in making this dream come true for my daughter and I.  Housing down payments and closing costs are very expensive.  I currently rent a place to live for us with rent being increased regularly which makes it almost impossible to save anywhere close to the amount I would need to cover a mortgage down payment and closing costs.

I am exhausted from paying rent each month with nothing to show at the end of day.  My goal and motivation is to show my daughter that you don’t have to stay in a relationship or situation.  You need to have the drive and motivation to set goals and always work hard to achieve them.  With everything that I have been through physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially; I am determined to make a better life for her and I.

My hope is that you will not gift me money out of sympathy, but out of kindness and understanding to help me reach this goal of owning a safe and healthy home.

Help for a Struggling Stepmom

Long story short, due to a variety of circumstances, including children’s hospital bills for one daughter, medical, dental, child support, and a reduction in income from both myself and my S/O over the past 3 months, we are struggling to make ends meet and are behind on our mortgage. We have $6000 in just medical and $3000 in dental. $3000 behind on mortgage. We want to keep our house and avoid bankruptcy, we’re in the process of gaining more custody of his children from a very negligent environment for the past year and everything is adding up at once. I’ve never asked for support before from anyone but I’m in a very desperate predicament without a good support system, so I’m asking others for help out of the kindness of their hearts to help us during this hard time so we can continue to work hard to give these kids the life and love they deserve. Thank you so much. Literally anything will help.

Stability Support

Hi,

I wrote the post about breaking even but it appears that my PayPal account was incorrect so I’m writing again to ask for support.

https://paypal.me/piperandbuckley?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US

I am behind on one mortgage payment and my checking accounts (2) are both in the negative, thanks to the impact of compounding bank fees. I do not have the ability to lean on my family or my partner financially, so I am at a loss. I have been trying for months to maintain positive funds and pay all of my bills in full but due to unexpected emergency costs, it has felt like a Herculean task. My paychecks cover my bills as long as there are no surprises, so months of rolling issues has been a struggle.

If you are able to spare any amount of kindness, it will be used to get myself out of the negatives with my bank and with my mortgage company. I don’t expect or want anything more; I know I’m asking a lot in this plea and it breaks my heart that I and many others are in this low place.

Thank you for reading my story.

Home Construction

Hello! My name is Kristin. Me and my husband got married, searched and searched for a piece of land to buy, and set out on our dream to build a house. A little backstory, my husband works as a maintenance man, and I work for the utility company. We make fairly decent money. I figured the sum total of all of our bills, determine what we would need to pay off before we began building a house, and went to work on getting that debt down. My husband and I paid off our credit cards, And we were able to pay off My Husbands truck thank God! Eventually, we found a track of land that was 24 acres. That track of land was in the same small town where we currently lived. We purchased that land and I’m still paying on it now. Once we had the land, we were ready to find a contractor and begin building our dream home. We thought we were about to begin an exciting part of our lives, but we found out it was about to be a miserable long journey. We hired a contractor back in October 2020. Not long after, Covid swept the land and the price of lumber shot through the roof. So not only were we facing a material price increase, we also hired a contractor Who we would later find out did not have our best intentions at heart. Per the contract that we signed to be or our house, we were supposed to be in our house in six months. After the six month period, I would begin paying a mortgage payment. here it is going on two years later and I am still not in my house. It looks just like the picture below except that we do finally have brick skirting around the foundation. This has been a miserable, miserable journey. We ended up having to fire our contractor and search for a new one. It was not easy finding a contractor to come in behind someone else’s work, but thank God we finally found someone and we are making progress. The stress of this house has been overwhelming. It was not easy finding a contractor to come in behind someone else’s work, but thank God we finally found someone and we are making progress. The stress of this house has been overwhelming. As the months would go on and my contractor would not work, and then in the process of finding a new contractor, my floor system in the house continually got rained on and now we have mold in an under our brand new home.My Husband and I Have accumulated so much extra debt that we had not planned for. Not only am I paying a mortgage payment on a home that I do not live in, I have had to pay out of pocket close to $20,000 on extra lumber to finish the framing of my home that my original Contractor did not do. On top of the $20,000 out of pocket, I have drained my 401(k). We also have a $35,000 loan taken out to help us finish building this house. The Bible says you have not because you ask not which is why I am writing this today. I have two kids and would love some financial relief. I would love to have $230,000 to pay off my mortgage loan, $35,000 to pay off the personal loan we took out to help finish building the house, and $24,000 to pay off my car. this may seem like a lot of money to some, but for others probably not. This is a shot in the dark, but like I said before the Bible says you have not because you asked not. Life is so short and I would love to not go through it burden down with more debt than I ever imagined getting myself into. Life has a way of throwing you curveballs. One day when I have the extra money and the income as many wealthy people do, I myself will pay it forward. I can’t even believe that I am writing this today, but hey it’s worth a shot. I would love to take that money, pay off all of my debt, and move forward with my life. I would love to be able to save some money and put it out for my children that way when they are older and married and ready to build a house out on their own, I could help them. If someone on here would read this message and be so kind and generous as to help me get out of this debt, I would be forever grateful and I would most definitely pay it forward. Thank you and God bless!

Single Mom Needs Help Buying A House

Hello, everyone. I am a single mom of a teen and tween, in desperate need of financial help to buy a home. I am ASD and ADHD, and have a chronic inflammatory illness, which I have pushed through my whole life. I have worked hard all my life to try and have something to show for it, which includes getting a Master’s degree right after I was diagnosed with a microaneurysm that I had to relearn brain functions over.

When I originally got married, I thought it would be forever. I not soon after, found out he had become a secret alcoholic during the time we had been dating and then I was forced to endure years of emotional and mental abuse, as well as one of my children that was not biologically his. I did the right thing and left.

Fast forward to after our divorce, I meet an amazing person. Now almost six years into it, due to every teen’s rebel year, he decided he can no longer feel comfortable in a household where he isn’t in complete and total control. He tells me I must buy a house in the next few months while having no income saved for a deposit, closing costs, real estate fees etc, much less a house even though I make $77k a year. Thanks to our currently created economy at the fault of our current leadership, that salary that would have been good just two years ago, is now not even enough to break even.

I do not want to rip my children out of the schools that they love again but housing has increased so much in the area, it is impossible to find anything that I would actually qualify for unless I want to live in a dangerous neighborhood or pay rent that will be 2x what a mortgage would cost.

I just need help. I am always there for anyone that asks it of me in the best way I can. When I need help, people scatter like cockroaches. I am not going to sugar coat my story. It is the way it is. If you would like to help, I would be forever grateful.

Help Our Dream Become A Reality For A Forever Home.

Hello! My name is Sarah Shrewsberry. I am a small town girl, born and raised in the desert of Southern California. I have a long time boyfriend named James Beck. We are High School sweethearts who have been together now for 13 years in September of this year.

We have currently gotten serious about our future. We are paying off all credit card debt while saving for costs of buying our forever home to start a family that I have been longing for over the years now. Our credit scores are improving drastically and our debt has shrunk immensely! The costs of the fees and a down payment for a home are not cheap by any means. We have recently realized the realities of buying a home and need a little bit of help to makes our dreams become a reality.

My boyfriend James is a Water Well Driller in our home town of Ridgecrest, Ca. He works his butt off day-in and day-out. Usually 12-13 hour days with no lunch breaks. I am a Produce Lead in a grocery store and also do Instacart on the side. We both try to work and save as much as we possibly can but with rent and bills we can only save so much at a time. We have never ever asked anyone for help or a handout. Every single thing we have today is because we have worked for it ourselves and earned it through hard work and dedication.

The main reason I am writing this letter and requesting help with a down payment for our home is because sometimes you need to reach out and see if there is a helping hand. I want to start our family and the rest of our lives together and with a little bit of financial assistance, it can all be possible. Sooner rather than later. I know that there are good people in the world that are willing or wanting to help hardworking, good, and trying middle class people that live on budgets and schedules. For some people it may be a small request, however for us it would be a major life change.

The moral of my story is simple. Hard working people that can only survive on certain hours of work need help. That is us, we need a little bit of financial help. Anything towards a down payment would help incredibly. We both grew up in single wide trailers and had little to nothing as children. We are determined and will make a change for our future children and make our living situations much better for them than our’s was. Please help this small town couple make there big dreams happen. Below, I have attached my PayPal link to make donations secure and easy. Thank you so much for reading my story and letting me share it with you.

Sincerely,

Sarah S. & James B.

Too big debts for years

Hello People. My name is Nhung a 26 year old girl from Vietnam. My English is not good but I’m here to ask for any precious help for my poor family at this difficult point of time.

I’m living in a small valley in a mountainous area of my country with my parents. My parents are farmers and they’re getting old. My father is 55 and my mother is 52.

We used to have a normal and peaceful life but it got terrible  since the year 2018 my father got the coronary thrombosis.

My family couldn’t work to earn money because of staying in Bach Mai hospital in Hanoi which is 300 kilometres far away from our home to take care of him. Whereby, my mom decided to sell half of our land to pay for my father’s stent transplant. The worse thing happened that my father was many times sent to the emergency room and he must get the second stent into his veins. My mom had no choice. She must ask for help from the bank, mortgaged our land and house to get about $36000 to save my father’s life. My English is bad so I can’t talk about my dad’s problem well like I want to! I’m so sorry about that.

Time was passing by and when my father could come home, my parents decided to use our small money to open a popular restaurant with the hopes that we could work to pay the loans and the interests. And I was working as a cashier with a low salary to help paying my dad’s monthly medicines.

In the first period, the restaurant was been running quite well. Even if the profit was insignificant to our debts, we still felt happy because we were earning. But life is really difficult especially with the poor and sick people like us. When the pandemic comes, our business got stagnant. And we must stop it bit by bit. The climax is that I lost my job because the company where I worked was closed. We live in a poor area and it’s so hard to find a job.

My all hopes to give my parents a better life are getting faint. I’m still struggling to find a new job which I know that it can never help to pay the big loans and the interests. My English is not good enough for people to ignore that I don’t have any certificate. Now My family doesn’t even have enough $100 a month to make a living. I once must sell my bike just for paying for my dad’s medicines. And that really completely got me falling on my knees.

I will send you a picture of the restaurant as where we are living, it’s just so dark, low and damp.

I never thought I will one day begging for money like this but I’m really shattering. I really need money. I just want my parents will be free from the $36000 debt soon. And I need money to survive while searching for a new job and to get back on my feet.

Please help me and my parents, any help from you is so much appreciated even if it’s $10, $20.

Thanks for your kindness!

I don’t have any international cashapp but Paypal.

Please help me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Unprepared

I’ve been lucky enough to have a good job and live a good life. I have three wonderful child and a loving wife. I have unknowingly been arrogant in my living standards and took my situation for granted. I have been laid off for 2 months now, much longer than I expected. I normally roll right into another job, not this time. I was completely unprepared for this! I have exhausted all favors and help from family. My ignorance has strained them. Now I shamefully burden those who see this. In all humility I ask for help with basic necessities and house expenses. My boss says 2 more weeks, god I hope so. I’ve have learned a hard lesson and have risked my families living situation cause of my foolishness. We all need second chances sometimes. I’m asking for one. My life will be lived much differently this go around. Thank you for you time.

Help to keep my house for me and my 2 year old son

I am looking to receive as close to £500k as I can.

I used to work 56 hours a week across 2 jobs to save for a deposit for a house, I moved in with my then partner in 2015, although I had a feeling, he wasn’t right for me, I still moved into his house and paid half of all bills and half his mortgage (he didn’t put me on the mortgage) as well as still saving money aside for when we eventually brought a house together.

I had an ectopic pregnancy in 2017 which really messed with my mental health, I then went onto having a miscarriage in 2018, I finally had my beautiful baby boy in 2019.  Three weeks after my son was born my then partner was up to his tricks (with his addiction), I went to see a solicitor to see what I could be entitled to, to be able to escape him and his house, the solicitor worked out I would have been entitled to around 24K which I requested informally from my then partner, he refused and said that I was his tenant!  I was not brave enough then to start proceedings with the solicitor.

He has always been incredibly selfish, and with me he has been controlling and manipulating, I have tried to split with him multiple times, but his controlling nature got me back, well not this time!  I split with him August 2021 and have absolutely no intention of going back, however I stupidly brought a house with him in February 2021 and immediately knew I had potentially made the biggest mistake of my life.

We had the house valued ready to put on the market, but with the proceeds of the house I would not be able to remain in the area we moved to, houses in this area are being snapped up, I would love to keep this house as my son and I love it and feel safe here, I would pay my ex off and pay off the rest of the mortgage or as much of it as I can and just live a peaceful life,  I am a very healthy person but stress with this situation is having an effect, as he is still living in this house with me (in a spare room).

What would a single mum want with a 4-bed house I hear you ask?  It is my intention when my son is old enough to explain the concept to, to foster care children, I would need to the space to do this, all children deserve love, there are so many stories of child abuse lately and I would love to do my bit to give them back some love and show them how life should be.
