I just got out of a co-dependent/toxic relationship and just learned about co-dependency, trauma, CPTSD etc. I can’t believe how selfless I’ve been all my life, but I’ll continue to help and do good in a healthy way going forward. I am a desperate single Mom, 34 years old, living with Type 1 Diabetes, and I live on my own with 2 children.  They are 13 & 6, both super sweet and silly. Everything I have accomplished in life has been for them!

Currently we need helpful hearts willing to donate money for our Rent, bills, and Insulin pump supplies.  I am in between jobs and have fallen behind on payments.

I obtained my Registered Nursing Degree in 2021 and have been working in a local hospital since graduating.  My passion is Postpartum Care; there is nothing like welcoming life into the world and assisting parents with newborn care.  As you may know there is a nursing shortage, which causes high stress levels, and mandatory overtime shifts.  I do not have the childcare to work required 50+ hours weekly.

Thankfully I have a new job that will not require me to work overtime.  The disadvantage is the job start date has been postponed for 3 more weeks! I was able to get Medicaid as my health insurance, but they will not cover my Insulin pump supplies.  I have been wearing a pump to keep my glucose levels maintained for over 10 years.  I have not been wearing my pump due to supply cost, and I have an older pump, making it difficult to get supplies from local discounted medical supply stores.  I am using Insulin pens, with negative results.  My glucose levels have been out of control, along with having symptoms of exhaustion and weight loss.

Along with bills, I am about to be evicted (My landlord notified me of a couple of days ago, even after I let them know of my job status at this time). With no other place for my children and I to move or stay currently.

I have been cleaning friends’ houses for some cash, and waiting on DoorDash to verify me so I can start doing that as well. Sadly, I am so desperate right now with everything piling up that I have decided to publicly ask for assistance.

My life purpose is to love and care for people, and I believe in paying it forward, when I am able.

I am a single mother who recently has gotten my daughter back home after her father took her from me against a court order and his wife basically turned her against me with lies. My daughter was and is my life. So i am thankful to have her back home with me its been a blessing. I have had quite a few health issues that have led to me no longer being able to work. Ive applied for disability but am in the appeals process with no decision date in sight. I most recently had total hip replacement that has left me unable to walk and unable to complete daily living alone. I also just this week went to the dr who is sending me for testing for inflammitory breast cancer. My daughter is finally back where she feels safe and secure and due to me not being able to work i have fallen behind in rent and city utilites. I’m a single dad, 1 in college another still a minor at home with me.

I had a great job in Sept and I got offered a new job which I took. However, by the time my 2 weeks notice was up, the new job went out of business due to financial hardship. Unemployment seems unhelpful because they do not know who to file the claim with.

I only need this months rent (November) as I know I will get a new job and I will live with a friend Dec-getting a new job. I really cannot have an eviction. I have paid my current place 23 months on time, just late this last month, but they are a corporation and won’t help.

Hello, my name is Charles and I am at high risk for eviction. I struggle with bipolar disorder II and lost my job at the end of last month when my best friend and his younger brother were shot and killed in a robery. I have become severely depressed and lost much cognitive function from this. I was able to cover half my rent with my last pay check, but I still owe $325 that was due today. I will be served a 7 day eviction notice tomorrow if I cannot come up with the payment, and at that point my cat and I will have nowhere to go. Hello, I’m a mother of two and support two additional teenage boys who live with me.  Two months ago, I was laid off from an amazing bank after over eight years of employment due to the federal rate hikes and a 75% drop in business.  The past two years have been tough on our industry, but hundreds of applications later, I’ve landed a position at a fantastic company far from where I reside.  I pushed through the rejections, believing that a company would believe in me, and I landed something good, but I’ve been living on credit cards for months, and I’m just about maxed out with bill collectors calling.  I’ve had sleepless, anxious, and fearful nights.   Sorry that I have to come to ask for help in the time before the holidays. Stress dad of 2 little ones, and a wife that’s been sick with (long COVID) for almost 4 years coming up this coming April.

I was recently working at a med spa part time offering laser hair removal. Upon being hired I had my own mobile teeth whitening business. The owner at the time was happy for me to promote said business within the spa. Business cards, signs, talking with clients etc. I then sold the teeth whitening business to help pay for bills, I then started a faith based apparel business on 8/26/23. 3 days afterwards, the owner has me sign a contract stating she is no longer going to tag me in any reels associated with the spa. As she doesnt want her clients connecting the two ( my faith based business and the spa) Religious discrimination… Few weeks later she then FIRES me, claims because I wasnt happy… I had all 5 star review’s from my clients raving about me. As i loved working there. Once I asked what the real reason was and questioned if it was because my business is Christian, her whole tone completely changed and she kicked me out IMMEDIATELY, she then blocked my personal and business page before I even got to the car.

 

So If she fired me because I “wasnt happy” then why did she feel the need to block me? Why was she ok with me promoting the teeth whitening business but not the faith based business? Which I never did. I never had business cards, signs or anything.

 

I have reported her to DORA, I have been unemployed ever since 10-1-23. I need assistance asap for bills and to now fund my faith based business. It has truly given me more motivation than ever to keep going , plant seeds and get Gods word out

I am a working single man having a hard time catching up past due rent.  I have lived in the same house for the past ten years.  My landlord has been very patient with me, but I am now facing eviction.  This summer I was in a car accident, totaled my vehicle, and unable to work.  I fell three months behind on rent.  After healing from my injuries, I was able to get another vehicle and I am now back to work.  However, I have been unable to bring my rent current.  I learned about this site and hope someone will consider helping me out as I don’t see any way to catch up.  I had very little savings and it was depleted paying utility bills and groceries while I was out of work.
