Desperate for help

Hi there,

I’m sorry to even have to ask this of anybody, but I genuinely don’t know what else to do. My name is Hannah, and I am 25 years old an an aspiring writer. I currently work full time as a paraprofessional in an elementary Lifeskills classroom, and I absolutely love my job, but it does not pay nearly enough for what is going on in my life right now. A few year ago my mom also ended up with COVID-19, and it almost killed her. She was in the hospital on an oxygen tank for a week, and after she recovered she found out she has significant damage to her memory and ability to focus. We believe she was oxygen deprived and suffered some kind of brain trauma as a result, and this eventually pushed her to make the difficult decision to retire from her job of 30 years as a supervisor in the department of welfare. She is currently on disability, but she only now makes a fraction of her former salary.

As for what I really need help with- my father was in a terrible car accident a few months back, and alongside several major surgeries was placed into a temporary coma. He is back home now and thankfully alive, but his hospital bills are so much more than either of us can handle alone. I am truly desperate for this help. I am in the process of moving into my first apartment and still paying for school online, and my mom is putting every spare cent she has aside to try and pay off the bills. I also work a full time job on top of going to school online, but I am unable to put even a dent into the bills he has. He is the owner of his own business which is a fireplace/chimney company that he started completely by himself from the ground up, and this is the main source of his income. He only has 2 or 3 employees that he pays whenever they are available to work for him, but the majority of the time he is out working alongside them. He is slowly recovering but still completely unable to work or provide any further income than what he has saved away. My parents will never be able to afford the bills they have piling up right now, and I know how scared they are and how much they are struggling. If there is any way someone would be able to help me pay off the hospital bills I would forever be grateful. I would need approx. $35,000

Again, if you are able to help, thank you so incredibly much, and if not I completely understand. Either way, thank you for reading.

Help with medical bills

Hi everyone! I am 25 years old and back in February 2025 I had a boyfriend and we had just moved into together. We got pregnant and were so excited. I went in for my first ultrasound and knew something was not right and it turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy resulting in an emergency surgery. I had no health insurance as I had gotten kicked off of my parents at the beginning of the year. I ended up with about 20,000 in medical bills. This entire situation took a toll on me and me and my boyfriend broke up and I had to find my own place. I had the begun my second semester of school in August and my car decided it wanted to get 3 flat tires within 3 weeks and my starter went out. What luck! I work two jobs and 12 hour days almost every day but it feels like I can’t catch up with everything coming at me at once. I don’t know exactly what I need help with first but I do know I need help. All of this has made me feel helpless and I’m asking for anything to help start my life over again and get back on track. Thank you for listening!

Mother sick pawned my gold necklace

Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Saku Gayani, and I am 20 years old. I am reaching out to you with a humble request and hope you will consider my situation.

My mother, who is 60 years old, has been suffering from an eye condition where her eyes were affected by cataracts (referred to as “whites in her eyes”). Recently, she underwent surgery to have new lenses implanted, and she has been following her medication and eye drop regimen as prescribed. I’m relieved to share that her recovery is progressing well.

In order to fund her treatment, I had to pawn my gold necklace and bracelet. While I am extremely happy to see my mother on the path to recovery, I am deeply worried about not being able to recover my precious jewelry. Unfortunately, I don’t have any other means to retrieve them at the moment.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could offer any assistance in helping me regain my necklace and bracelet. If I were able to raise $600, I would be able to resolve this issue. Your support would mean a lot to me, and I would be incredibly grateful for any help you can provide.

My prosthetic leg

Hello everyone my name is Dale Miles. I am in need for money to purchase my prosthetic leg. When the whole Covid thing came about I really wasn’t worried. I had a job where you weren’t in the same place everyday and it was outside. I poured concrete. We had a small crew only seven of us we weren’t around people that often. So I was really worried about contracting this virus. Well I never got the Covid virus, but I did get the Covid vaccine. I really didn’t want to get it because they just came up with it and I’m sure there weren’t very many trials before the started giving them out. So one weekend me and my wife were going to the Seattle Seahawks vs. the San Francisco 49ers game. We got in line to get in and found out that they weren’t letting people in unless they could show that you have gotten the COVID vaccine. Literally they were giving them out rite in front of the stadium. So we sat there pondering if we should do it and we decided to go aged and get them. IT WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. So a month or so later me and my wife were at a friend of mine’s wedding and my right leg from the knee down swoll up like you wouldn’t believe. It got so swollen that it started to hurt really bad, to the point where we had to leave and go to the emergency room. Come to find out that I had a blood clot in my leg. They did surgery going in through my growing artery and they were able to fish it out. All was good up until about a month later Cand it did it again. Same surgery same result. This time it lasted about two months before it did it again. This time the couldn’t fish it out so they had to do major surgery take and artery out of my left leg and put it in my rite leg so that it got blood flow. Was in the hospital for three weeks. Came home was good for about a month and it did it again this time the blood clot was going up towards my lungs. They told me that they were going to be able to do the surgery to remove it. The day of the surgery my doctor came in and told me that he wasn’t able to do the surgery not because he wasn’t capable but because do to the Covid virus the help he needed were nurses and doctors that had just started and he was sure if they could handle something like this and for that reason he chose not to do it, but he knew the doctor up in Portland medical center that could do it but there was a waiting list for clients to get admitted. So I sat in the river bend hospital for almost four weeks before they helicoptered me up to Portland medical center. Did the surgery and everything went according to plan was there for 3 weeks recovering. We went home got settled but a few weeks later I got that same thing with my leg swollen up. So we went to the emergency room again to tell me this time that the we’re going to amputate my right leg from the knee down. I was devastated, but I went through with the surgery and they amputated my leg, which didn’t even last a month. I got the same feeling in my leg just higher. So the had to amputate my leg again from the knee up. It was fun. Not really. Now this whole time they were trying to figure out what was causing this but they couldn’t figure it out. They tried everything to stop the blood clots. Even dialysis where they took the plasma out of my blood. Well at the end thank the lord my body stopped producing blood clots I have to take two blood thinners and go once a month to have the plasma taken out of my blood. I deal with pain in my leg every day. Where I fall asleep if I’m not dang near sitting up it hurts so bad that it wakes me up and I have to get out of bed and stand up. So i started to get used to walking around with my walker and going up and down the stairs to my room but I need a leg. It took forever for them to refer me to hanger clinic and then it took them even longer for the insurance to approve my leg. I took them four and a half months to approve it, just for them to tell me that it’s going to cost me 8500$ dollars to purchase my leg. I asked them how it is going to cost 8500 dollars when my insurance covers it. They told me that the 8500 dollars was just a third of the price of the leg and that was what I had to pay to get my leg. You know I’ve had many of things happen to me in my life I’m 45 I had a stroke in 2017 where I had to learn how to walk and talk again. I had an aneurysm behind my rite eye where they had to drill a hole in my skull go around my brain and put a clip on it. And I found out that I had wolf Parkinson’s disease where it make my heart beat 200 times a minute which the were able to care of. They all hurt but nothing like this. I’ve used up all my savings dealing with this stuff and even took money out of my retirement just to make sure that my family got by. But now I’m completely broke and could use some money to be able to purchase my leg and be able to walk again and get back to work I don’t know about pouring concrete but at least getting back to work. If anyone could help me out with a donation to the 8500 dollar bill I would greatly appreciate it like you would believe. Here is my PayPal me link again anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated, here is my link

I thank everyone greatly.

Hysterectomy Incoming

I have my hysterectomy scheduled for 10/8/2025. I am getting married 9/13/2025 and my fiance and I have poured our heart and soul into making our dream wedding a reality. We were not expecting my surgery date to be so quickly after the wedding and money is tight at this time.

Since my first menstrual cycle, I had been begging my mom to get my uterus taken out. I hated it every month; I would be in bed sobbing with every heating pad we owned, trying every remedy and medication that was said to help, with little to no relief every time.

I also knew that I was not ever going to want children of my own. Helping raise my younger brother with my single mom -dad passed when I was 3 years old- certainly gave me enough experience with parenting that I knew since I was about 15 that I would never want children of my own. I purposely found a life partner that also has made the decision a long time ago that he also never wanted to have children of his own.

After trying every possible birth control,  hormone supports, etc., there were no more options for me to try to handle my symptoms. Earlier this year I went to my doctor and discussed my options and we decided that it is best to get a hysterectomy.

Please consider supporting me on this journey, as even with my doctors and surgeons approval, insurance is refusing to help, deeming it “elective surgery.” I am looking to have $5000-$10,000 by the time of the surgery for all of my costs and aftercare. Anything will help, thank you all for your time and your help! Below you will find different options to be able to send funds. Thank you!

Need some help with medical bills

My name is DeDe. I am a 46 year old mom of 2 adults, married to an amazing husband and father.

For years I have dealt with some female issues but it finally came to a head about a year ago. I started my period but then it grew very very heavy and I bled for 61 days. Those days consisted of an ER Visit, urgent care visit, doctor visits, new family doctor, fibroids, prolapsed fibroid, biopsy, new obgyn, heavy bleeding, anemia, lightheaded, nausea, weakness, hard time sleeping, always feeling tired, had to quit my job as a lunch lady, not walking as I usually do, headaches, iron pills, high amounts of birth control pills to help control bleeding, lots of anxiety, waiting and more waiting, never feeling well, etc. it finally ended with getting a hysterectomy and 3 blood transfusions and lots of healing.

And just when I thought my troubles were over – the insurance decided that they weren’t going to cover my hospital stay – despite my doctors writing to them and despite getting pre authorization. They determined that they would pay for all the other stuff but they wouldn’t pay for the hospital stay which ended up being $49,000.

This has been such a hardship for us. My husband works so hard and we try to help people and live a good life. I am a lunch lady and have a small graphic design business. My son is autistic and still lives at home with us and our daughter is going to college. We are struggling with debt and paying for my daughter’s schooling.

If there is anyone who could help us pay this medical debt – it would be a true answer to prayers. Thank you for listening and being our angels on this earth.

Thank you.

For my FGM Reconstructive Surgeries

Donate for my FGM Reconstructive Surgeries – End My 12 Years of Pain

My Story

I am a 23-year-old girl born and raised in America. At 11, after finishing my 5th grade, I travelled with my family to a ‘summer vacation’ in their homeland where I was subjected to female genital mutilation (FGM) — a violent act disguised as tradition. My stay there was prolonged, and I remained there for several years, returning to America again during my second year of high school.

For years, I didn’t understand what happened to me — only that basic bodily functions became sources of pain. This experience remained a puzzle in the background of my memory, something I didn’t understand but was simply there.

My Struggles

I grew up accustomed to constant pain during basic biological functions:

  1. Burning with urination
  2. Stabbing nerve pain when sitting too long
  3. Throbbing discomfort during walks
  4. Tight clothes rubbed my scars raw; that’s why I didn’t wear any
  5. Exercise became impossible
  6. Every month, I suffer from excruciating pain and extremely heavy periods

yet I assumed it all was normal or something all girls experienced. The chronic pain left me exhausted, anxious, and isolated — I missed out on friendships, dates, and simple joys because I was always in pain. I structured my life around coping with the pain, unaware for years that it wasn’t something every woman endured.

I was struggling mentally and psychologically,, still, with severe depression because I can’t engage in daily life. I feel like a prisoner inside my own body.

My Late Awareness

At university, I realized the truth: what they called ‘Purification’ or ‘Purity’ was actually FGM — an illegal mutilation that scarred me for life.

I learned about its effects and realized:

  1. The source of my constant physical pain, after even the slightest exertion.
  2. The difficulty of living a normal life.
  3. The impossibility of practicing any sport I wanted to try due to the physical deformity I suffered.
  4. I couldn’t even do jobs that required physical effort.

What I LOST

I missed out on simple joys like cycling because I was always in pain. I grew up wanting to try skating on roller shoes and playing basketball, but physically, I wasn’t able to do so. I grew up suppressing my needs and desires out of pain.

I wanted to get out with my friends more. I wanted to have close friends, but I couldn’t open up to people. I missed out on childhood adventures because my body couldn’t keep up. I wish I had more memories with friends and people growing up, not withdrawing into myself.

My Hope: Reconstructive Surgeries

While there isn’t surgery that can fully “reverse” FGM, there are certain reconstructive surgeries that can help reduce and eliminate pain and reduce FGM complications.

After I consulted with several gynaecologists and female reproductive surgeons, they suggested that I need 3 medically necessary surgeries to reduce FGM-related complications. These surgeries are recommended by The World Health Organization (WHO) for FGM survivors with chronic pain and complications.

With these surgeries, I dream of trying to do the sports I wanted to try and finally living without pain. Exercise like normal people do, these surgeries will give me a chance to live the simple joys that I missed as a child and wanted to do while growing up and couldn’t.

How your donation helps me and gives me Hope!

Your donation will help me:

  1.  End my daily suffering — no more burning urination, stabbing nerve pain, or mobility limitations.
  2.  Eliminate serious health risks caused by FGM complications.
  3.  Restore basic bodily functions.
  4.  Rebuild my confidence and emotional well-being.
  5.  Give me back my future — the ability to work, exercise, and experience relationships without pain.

And beyond physical healing, these procedures represent restoring hope for a normal, empowered life full of dignity.

After 12 years of suffering, these surgeries are my chance to finally heal my physical and emotional wounds.

Though partially funded, I still need $18,000 USD to schedule them by late November.

Because of your donation, I’ll soon make peace with my owb body. Every contribution brings me closer to healing.

I’m deeply grateful, and one day, I’ll pass this kindness forward.

Help me fight long covid and lyme disease

Hello, my name is Sarah, I’m 33 years old, I suffer from long COVID and Lyme disease, and I need your help to continue my treatment.

I contracted COVID a year and a half ago, and the symptoms have never gone away. Shortly after, I also discovered that I’ve had Lyme disease for several years.

The main symptom of long COVID is extreme exhaustion and weakness, which prevent me from performing daily activities. In addition, I suffer from shortness of breath, brain fog, difficulty thinking and finding my words, meaning that neither my body nor my brain functions properly.

In the long term, long COVID leads to many complications: muscle loss, malaise after even minimal effort, dysautonomia – a dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system – cognitive and neurological disorders, and other disabling symptoms.

In concrete terms, I’ve lost much of my independence.

When I first got sick, I spent six months almost bedridden, and simple things like holding my phone, petting my cat, or chewing my food were difficult.

Then I managed to go outside a little, walk 10 minutes with a cane. I then began rehabilitation, where even the slightest movement was a challenge. I had no strength left.

Today, I can once again do small things in daily life, I’m only occasionally short of breath, and I can walk, slowly, for about 30 minutes.

I still struggle to organize my thoughts, and any activity requires twice as much rest time.

But little by little, I’m making progress.

There is no official treatment and very little medical support.

The things that truly help me are bioresonance, medicinal plants, dietary supplements (vitamins, minerals, anti-inflammatories…).

I am being supported by a naturopath to strengthen my immune system, reduce inflammation, calm the nervous system, fight Lyme disease… I also follow a very restrictive diet.

None of these treatments are reimbursed, but they help me feel better and fight the illness. It’s thanks to them that I’ve made so much progress.

Good news: I have a treatment that works for Lyme disease, and for the past two months, I’ve had no more joint pain, neck pain, bruxism, or migraines.

Unfortunately, I’m reaching the end of my unemployment benefits and my savings, and in September I won’t be able to pay for my treatment anymore, which is my only tool to move forward.

Just before falling ill, I had decided to study to earn a degree in early childhood care and to work with little ones. Today, my wish is to be able to work again, to have an active life, and not just survive day to day.

Your support allows me to:

25–50€: the average cost of a box of dietary supplements
70€: one month of treatment for Lyme disease
100€: two bioresonance sessions (one month)
300€: one month of full treatment
900€: three months of full treatment
3600€: one year of treatment

Here is my paypal link :  paypal.me/Srhthrze

Your help, whether big or small, is precious to help me regain my independence, my life, and to heal. I’m extremely grateful in advance for your support. You are in my heart and my prayers.🙏

Thank you again for your contribution and for sharing this fundraiser with your friends and on social media.

HELP ABBY RECOVER AND REBUILD AFTER A STROKE

Love has a way of connecting hearts across distance, trials, and time. I never imagined that one day, the woman who brought so much light and joy into my life would be facing her darkest hour and that I’d be asking for your help to keep that light alive.
THE STORY BEHIND THE CAMPAIGN
I have been blessed to share my life with Abby, the most beautiful and resilient woman I have ever known. We met in college, bonding over hours spent together in the library and the cafeteria me bringing her drinks, her flashing that bright, contagious smile that could turn any day around.
Over the years, we shared countless memories: vacations spent exploring new places, late-night phone calls that lasted until sunrise, and plans for a future together. But life took a devastating turn when COVID-19 struck. Abby lost both of her parents and was abandoned by her extended family. She was forced to navigate overwhelming grief completely alone.
Travel restrictions meant I couldn’t be there physically, but I was on the phone for hours, days, sometimes nights in a row — doing whatever I could to keep her going. She worked tirelessly for minimum wage, relying heavily on tips to survive, while I supported her financially as best I could.
Recently, tragedy struck again. Abby suffered a stroke, leaving her with mounting medical bills and the urgent need for consistent physiotherapy. Even with my continued financial help, her expenses have skyrocketed beyond what I can cover alone.
THE GOAL & HOW FUNDS WILL BE USED
Our goal is to raise $27,000 to support Abby’s recovery journey until June 2026 by which time her doctor is hopeful she will have regained enough independence to finally join me in the UK.
  • $3,000 per month to cover her essential living costs and medical bills Physiotherapy sessions recommended by her doctor
  • Ongoing medications and rehabilitation needs
  • Basic living expenses while she recovers and is unable to work
Even reaching a quarter of this goal would go a long way toward ensuring she has the stability and treatment she needs.
Abby is more than my girlfriend she is my partner, my confidante, my best friend. She has faced unimaginable loss and hardship, yet her strength and kindness have never wavered. Right now, she needs more than love and encouragement she needs the resources to heal, regain her independence, and rebuild her life.
Your generosity can be the bridge between her current struggles and a brighter, healthier future.
If you are able, please consider donating to help Abby on her road to recovery. No contribution is too small every bit makes a difference. If you cannot give financially, you can still help by sharing this campaign with friends, family, and on social media.
Together, we can give Abby the chance to heal, recover, and step into the life she deserves.
CLOSING GRATITUDE

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading our story and for caring. Your support in any form means the world to both of us. With your help, Abby’s smile will shine brightly again.

Help Me Clear My Debt

Hello! Life hasn’t always been great, but I try to keep trucking and take joy in small things. I’m asking for help tackling what seems like insurmountable debt in both medical and living expenses to the tune of nearly $40,000. I have had a series of trips to the ER in the last few years for issues that have not yet been fully diagnosed, but with medication I am thankfully stable. In total I’m on nine different meds of varying costs, but a good month is about $100 for the generics. In addition to what medical debt I still have put on credit and despite working full time, I’ve had to put various living expenses on credit, and the interest is making it seem like I’ll be paying it off for the next hundred years. It’s incredibly demoralizing to know that out of all the minimum payments, only a fraction of it is going towards reducing the principal. However, I won’t get on a soapbox at the moment and preach about healthcare reform. I’m lucky to be breathing and able to continue working.

My goal is currently to get free of (hopefully) the lion’s share of this debt and immediately start putting as much of what I have been paying on debt into savings, so that I can build up a nest egg that will help me weather a future event like this without sliding back into the hole. I think the easing of stress getting rid of this nonsense would improve my health in and of itself. Funds permitting, I’d also look into the feasibility of starting a small business as an indie perfumer; I love fragrance as a collector, and I’d like to learn the craft and see if I have any talent to develop. I may never struke it rich, but if I can make a few dollars while making the world a little more beautiful to the senses I would consider myself incredibly blessed.

Any contribution in any amount can go to paypal.me/JoshuaRosen – even if this doesn’t bear fruit, having a place like this to even ask helps a lot. Thanks for reading, have a wonderful day

Appealing for Urgent Financial Assistance: Surgery for Mrs. Akande Temitope

My name is Akande Akorede Ibrahim, and I am humbly reaching out to kind-hearted individuals, organizations, and well-meaning members of the public to request urgent financial assistance for my beloved wife, who is currently battling breast cancer.

Several months ago, my wife began experiencing severe pain and swelling in her left breast, accompanied by discomfort, fatigue, and weight loss. After multiple medical consultations and tests at a government-approved hospital – UNIVERSITY COLLEGE HOSPITAL (UCH). She was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. The doctors confirmed that immediate surgical intervention, followed by post-surgery treatment, is necessary to prevent the cancer from spreading further and to give her a chance at survival.

The required surgery is a mastectomy the removal of the affected breast along with the removal of nearby lymph nodes. This procedure, combined with chemotherapy sessions afterward, will cost more than we can currently afford. The estimated total cost for the surgery, medication, post-operative care, and follow-up treatments is $4,236 dollars to ₦6,485,000 naira. This includes hospital admission fees, anesthesia, blood tests, pathology examinations, and necessary drugs.

Unfortunately, my current earnings as a loan verification officer are barely enough to take care of daily family needs, let alone such an overwhelming medical expense. Over the past months, we have exhausted our savings, sold valuable belongings, and received help from a few family members and friends, but the amount raised so far is still far from what is required. Every passing day without the surgery increases the risk of the cancer advancing to other parts of her body, which could make treatment more complicated and less effective.

My wife is not just my partner but also a mother, a sister, and a friend to many. She has always been a caring, selfless woman who supports others in their times of need. Now, she is the one in desperate need of help, and I cannot bear the thought of losing her simply because of financial constraints.

I appeal to anyone reading this to please consider contributing whatever you can toward her surgery and treatment. No amount is too small; every naira brings us closer to saving my wife’s life. Contributions can be made directly to the provided account details, and I am willing to share hospital documents and medical reports to confirm the authenticity of this appeal.

Your generosity and kindness can give my wife the gift of life. May God bless and reward you abundantly.

“Help a Father’s Failing Heart Beat Strong Again”

My name is Stacey, and I’m writing on behalf of my beloved older brother, who is fighting a life-threatening illness that threatens to take him away from his family far too soon. My brother is 54 years old and lives in rural Jamaica, where he supports his wife and three children through small-scale farming. Despite their modest means, he has always been a pillar of strength for his family and community—working tirelessly to put food on the table and care for his loved ones.

Tragically, his health has taken a severe turn. He has been diagnosed with cardiac amyloidosis, a rare and serious disease that causes abnormal proteins to build up in the heart, weakening it and leading to heart failure. His condition is worsening rapidly, and the discomfort is overwhelming. He now suffers from severe ascites, a buildup of fluid in the abdomen, which causes constant pain and makes it hard for him to move or rest comfortably.

To make matters more heartbreaking, his eldest son—now 27—has suffered from uncontrolled epilepsy since he was 12 years old. My brother and his wife have spent years caring for him, as his condition has prevented him from attending school or working. While his wife works as a janitor, my brother has been the primary caregiver at home, even as his own body has begun to fail him. He has also spent his time ministering the gospel and helping others in his local community.

We are desperately seeking help to get him the urgent medical care he needs. Doctors have told us that time is not on our side. Treatment options in Jamaica are limited, and we are hoping to get him to the United States or another facility where advanced care is available. We have started a GoFundMe, but after three weeks, we’ve only raised just over $900. We are now turning to BeggingMoney.com and the kindness of strangers with a heartfelt plea.

Our initial goal is $US 25,000 to help cover medical evaluations, travel, and urgent care. We know the full cost will be much more, but this will be the first step in getting him help before it’s too late.

Please, if you can find it in your heart to give, know that you’re helping to save not just a man, but a father, husband, brother, and caregiver who has spent his life giving to others.

POST ACCIDENT FINANCIAL RECOVERY

hi, my name’s lina and i’m currently 25. i’ve been through a lot of things in life but i always managed to recover, until recently. i had a car accident – my car, my only way to go to work, the thing i put all of my savings into to fix it, has been smashed by a truck when i was on my way to therapy. it’s not really possible to fix it anymore, so with my little savings and huge help on my friend’s side i bought a new car. it’s hard to get back on my feet, pay my best friend back for what they lended me to buy a car and continue my journey in therapy, now with ptsd. i just wish i could live normally, without worrying about being able to pay for my bills or guilt about being not paying my best friend back, who is also in a hard financial situation right now.
