I am writing to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for help. As some of you may know, I have been going through a difficult time and am now facing the possibility of being evicted from my home. As a single father, it has not been easy to provide for my three daughters on my own, and with the added stress of having a recent car fire, things have become even more challenging.

I have always tried my best to provide a stable and loving home for my girls, but unfortunately, I have fallen behind on my rent payments and am now at risk of losing our home. This has been a constant source of worry and anxiety for me, as I am sure you can imagine. I have been doing everything in my power to make ends meet, but unfortunately, it hasn’t been enough.

That is why I am reaching out to you today. I am humbly asking for your support and generosity in helping me pay my rent and avoid being evicted. Any amount, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way in keeping a roof over our heads.

This all started during the COVID19 pandemic ad my son wasn’t able to work and I had to take on all the responsibilities on the apartment by myself. I had to pay rent, the water & electricity bills and food. So didn’t have money to cover the bills, I made the decision to take payday loans including a title loan on my car. So now the loans have taken over my bank account where I have very little left to pay my regular bills or rent. If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciated. Hello. I am a struggling entrepreneur looking for assistance for my basic needs. I started working for myself since June of 2023. I’m not used to asking for help but this was suggested by a friend and I’ve never been in such a unique situation.  I’m hoping that maybe we can just get help getting our rent caught up and get my dental done.   We are trying not to get evicted and our landlord is trying to work with us but now without this months check we are going to be a month behind.

I’m 50 and my husband is 51.  I work full time for a hospital but my husband has not been able to work a full time job for almost eight years.  He was a trucker with his own business before I met him. Then he lost his CDL because he started to have heart problems.  He ended up homeless and had several heart surgeries. He was able to get approved for disability and was able to get a part time job.  We met six years ago and a month after we met he was diagnosed with end stage renal disease which was caused by his heart problems. He ended up losing his job due to multiple hospital stays. After yet another heart surgery and multiple surgeries for caths to be placed for Peritoneal Dialysis just to get infections and then finally an arterial port placed for hemo dialysis.  During this time we lost our home to Hurricane Florence and because we rented we were not eligible for FEMA help.  The next house we lived for two years but then the floor literally fell out from under us while COVID still had everything shut down.  We moved to a new town, I got a new job with my current employer and he was able to get a pacemaker and he does dialysis three times a week.  He was also able to get a part time job which made him feel useful again.  We were finally working on trying to pay the 50,000.00 we owe to one hospital and try to pay the 6000.00 we owe another one.   I need about a 1000.00 worth of dental work but I’ve been putting it off to cover our daily bills.

On Jan 3rd 2024 his disability check didn’t go into the bank.  When he called to find out why we found out that per the government his disability was supposed to be stopped July 2022 but because of a glitch it wasn’t stopped.  So according to the government we owe them back pay off 39,000.00.  They state he can work a full time job which his doctors say no but my husband is doing it anyways.  Luckily his current employer will let him sit when he needs to but he still pushes himself and gets wobbly on his feet. He works as a car cleaner at a rental company.

If you can help it means the world to us both. If not I understand and things have always worked out so hopefully this will still be the case for our future.

Hi everyone I am a college student in Atlanta Georgia and I need help with paying my rent and other bills. I need about 9000$ to help me cover rent and other expenses to be able to finish my college. I am currently in my final year of my Engineering degree with a 3.96 GPA and have one more semester left but unexpected circumstances have left me on the verge of dropping out to be able to survive.

I lost the job I was working for in early October due to the company downsizing and my roommate moved out around the same time cuz he got a job in his hometown and he left by breaking the lease and leaving me with all the bills and although I paid his portion of rent with my savings it has left me severely in debt with my account sitting at a negative -300$ which has resulted in me not even being able t0 afford food and facing eviction come February 2024. I haven’t been able to pay my phone bill, electric bill and other utilities and already lost phone service because of it and been contacted by the power company about shutting of electric and water.

I have been applying to jobs but so far haven’t found any and this has resulted in my performance in school to drop considerably. I can’t ask my family for money as they live paycheck to paycheck and i have been supporting myself  for the past 3 and a half years through college by paying the tuition myself with 50% from scholarships and 50% from saving money from working jobs and i don’t want to drop out right before my final semester
I wouldn’t be here asking for money if I wasn’t desperate. I’ve barely had any food to eat in the past 3 weeks and been pretty much surviving on a slice of bread and water. Please help. The 9000 will help me cover rent for 2 months and pay all my past utility bills and get groceries for food and help me pay about 30% of my tuition for my final semester the rest coming from scholarships and hopefully getting a job by the time tuition is due for my final semester.
Please help with any amount if you can, I will be eternally grateful and promise to pay it forward by helping people in need when i have the means.

• Hellothis is very hard for me to do because I don’t typically ask for hand outs but here we go. I lost my job about two weeks ago and I was living paychec to paycheck. My roommate just up and left and didn’t  say anything and he also stole the rent money I had set aside. I have a car that’s on it’s  last leg. I am going to be evicted on the first of the month now cause the rent was stolen. Hello to all and thank you for taking the time to read my request. I am seeking help to avoid eviction mainly because I don’t want to have to put my schooling on hold. I have reached out to family and all local resources and I have not had any luck. I have no family that I can go live with. I am currently attending school and I work part-time. I am struggling with severe PCOS and lower back pain, and it has caused me to be out of work consistently. I am still going through the struggles of dealing with the issues and symptoms mentally physically, and emotionally putting a lot of money into getting the help I need to get my issues under control without insurance. The amount that I owe to get my rent paid to avoid eviction is 3,740 with all the court fees they have added on to be exact. Any help is better than none and I would appreciate any. Thanks again.

Hello. I’m a single mom of a disabled daughter who is considerably behind on my taxes rent. My mother passed away in October 2023 and I’ve been helping my brother as he was very close to her, lived with her, and is very depressed. Financially, he and his pets have been hurting. I’ve sent him about $1100 total.  I also have paid for about half of my mothers cremation, $1200, with the other half to go still. I simply found myself getting  behind this past August. I had car repairs that were costly and have been without my car. But now my car is fixed, a friend helped me with that. But I received a letter that I owe 9 months of rent. I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do. I w been here in my place for almost 20 years and have low rent. I love it here, it’s safe and we are loved by our neighbors. I have several cats that cost money too to take care of. But what I need is rent money so desperately. I cannot lose my beautiful apartment we love.
