The Art of Noticing someone in need

Hello Kind Stranger,

My name is Brendan, and I am reaching out for some assistance during a really challenging time, and to put it out into the universe for some extra help moving forward.

I have worked in a disability support role for the past 13 years, am currently supporting my Mother who is going through some completely debilitating mental and physical issues (without access to full support),  and myself battling with a crisis of identity, worth and purpose.

I have had some of the best and worst years of my life recently, having lost family members, an intense loving relationship, my main supply of income, vehicles and self worth.  I spent the last year and a half destroying myself physically and mentally, and as a coping mechanism: financially. It has taken all of my savings to survive and cope and I am now in a fairly desperate situation. So much so I have needed to borrow money from family, have tax that I can’t pay and support I wish to provide that I simply can’t. With the cost of living the way it has been, and I desire not to exist, it has been a challenging time in my life.

Forward to today, and I am slowly getting better. I haven’t been able to work, I am on some gentle medication to get above the bottom line I have been living on for so long. I have started walking, and going to the gym and interacting with life again. I so love life, and supporting people and being there for others, it feels really good to be present again. My dream was, is and always will be to become a positive influence on the planet, to run videos and moments of helping people in need, inspired by people like Sam (Itssozer) and Zach (MDMotivator). If I won enough in the lotto, or came upon a few million where I could help my Mum live off the interest, and utilise the rest to do what these guy do, I would.

I have made many mistakes over this time, I had opportunities during the NFT and crypto space where I could have been well off and fulfilled the dreams I was chasing. I was either too scared or had too much going on that it fell apart, and I have been working hard to not live in regret. I had a car issue where it took 6 months to resolve, organised another vehicle in the meantime then sold the old one, only to have the new one be a lemon and basically ruin me as a throw away. I have taken opportunities out of fear for less that could have been something and turned into nothing. There is too much to list.

Today I am asking for assistance with my biggest primary concern, which is paying back a loan from family. It is $2500 AUD, which if I was in the right space mentally and capable I would of course not be asking. Any assistance in this matter would be so incredible and mean so much to me. You would be bringing a safety net to a situation that feels so daunting and impossible.

I have tax owing of more than $10,000 AUD, and a dream to be able to support my Mum moving forward to get to a place of peace and safety. I always have a moment where I can vividly picture millions in the bank, and just letting her live off the interest. She is in such a space of turmoil mentally and physically, seeing her fear and anxiety is soul destroying.

I am focusing hard come up with ideas to make this a reality, and time will tell what I can come up with. I am passionate about life, about noticing the beauty of it and bringing positivity and peace in a time when so much is in chaos. I often feel being an empath and someone who is always a foundation of support for people, it is sometimes so disheartening seeing what people are willing to do to be well off but it working for them, and missing out on so much of it because I am not. This is all just extra of course, but if I don’t put it out into the universe to manifest something, how will I ever know what’s possible.

Regardless of any outcomes, thank you whoever you are for your time to read and allow me to be heard. I am in need, but I am ok and I know there are plenty that are worse off and likely need it so much more than I do. I am honestly just so ready for a win in life, it feels desperate sometimes.

Big love to you, be well and safe and may peace and prosperity see you always.

Kindest Regards,

Brendan

Single Dad & 10-Year-Old Son Facing Homelessness

Hello, my name is Ulli, and I’m a heartbroken single father reaching out with everything I have left. My 10-year-old son and I are staring down the very real threat of homelessness after more than two years of unemployment, and I’m desperately fighting to keep us together and safe.

Every night I watch my little boy try to be strong. He’s only 10, but he’s already learned what it feels like to worry about whether we’ll still have a home next month. When the bills pile up and I have to stretch the last few groceries, the quiet fear in his eyes absolutely shatters me. He deserves to feel safe, to laugh and play like a normal child, and to have a dad who can provide for him, not one constantly battling to keep us off the streets. These past two years have taken so much from us, but I refuse to let this situation steal his future.

That’s why I’ve made a firm decision to keep fighting. Instead of waiting for another rejection letter, I’m determined to start my own small clothing business. I have done research and have made a real plan to begin with affordable, quality every day clothing that people actually want. This business can represents our lifeline, a chance to finally create stable income and rebuild our lives with dignity. But right now, we’re drowning in overdue rent, mounting debts, and basic survival needs. Without immediate help, we won’t even have a roof over our heads to work from.

I’ve already tried all the traditional ways, job applications, applying for business grants, startup loans, and assistance programs, but I keep getting rejections. Time is running out fast for us. My son shouldn’t have to live with this constant fear and uncertainty any more.

The $50,000 I’m humbly asking for would:

  • Clear urgent debts and overdue rent to stop the eviction threat and prevent homelessness.
  • Cover essential living costs so I can focus fully on launching the business.
  • Provide the critical startup funding for inventory, equipment, website/setup, and initial marketing to get the clothing business generating income as quickly as possible.

I’m not asking for charity forever. I’m asking for a compassionate hand up so I can stand on my own two feet again and become the provider my boy needs. Once this clothing business is off the ground, I’ll work tirelessly to support us and, one day, pay it forward to help other struggling families.

If you can donate anything at all, it will mean the world to a father who just wants to protect and provide for his 10-year-old son. If you can’t give right now, please share this story. Every share increases the chance that someone who can help will see it.

From the depths of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read about our painful situation. Your kindness and belief in us could be the turning point that saves my son’s childhood and gives us both a real chance for a better life.

With endless gratitude,
Ulli

ESRD/Dialysis Warrior Needing Help Please!

Hello, I am a 37 year old single mother of 2. I was born with one kidney and at the age of 28, it failed and I was placed on dialysis for 3-4 days a week for nearly 5 hours. Due to treatments taking up 80% of my time, I am unable to work so I have to try and support my children and myself on a very minimal fixed income. I am asking for help with paying for my medicine and my medical bills. This would help take a huge stress off my children and myself and hopefully with your donations, I’ll have a little bit of extra money from my monthly income to get my children new clothes and shoes. Anything will help and be the biggest blessing not only for me but for my kids too. Thank you and God bless.

Seeking assistance with bills

Hello and to start thank you for taking the time to read my story. I lost my job a month and a half ago, in hindsight I should have kept my opinions to myself when I noticed in immoral act, obviously I did not and I came out on the losing end. For that, I am truly humbled, I got called into the head office, was told I am a cancer and there is only one way to get rid of it, so I was fired. I had no savings built up and nothing to rely on. I have asked friends, family and even started searching loans even with awful interest rates anywhere as high as 349%, I could not do it, even for a short term loan. I have put out multiple applications and finally heard from one with an interview coming in the next week. Unfortunately, even if getting hired will not be in time to catch the bills that are here. I cry every night, over stress about all of it. I have been doing online surveys and make 8 to 10 dollars a day, if I persist for 12 to 14 hours a day. I currently do not drive due to a health issue, so doordash, instacart are not options I can do. I so wish I could, I am not afraid of work, I was just stagnant in my job and never thought I would be in this type of situation. If I can come up with $1500 to $2000, I would be okay for the next month and a half when my retirement fund will come in, it is not a lot but I will be okay for a little while and if my faith holds out I will get the job I have the interview for. I understand that my plight is not detrimental, to me it is the most awful, to others just a bump in the road. I am in jeopardy of losing my home, having the electric turned off and groceries are running low. Food, is not a worry because there are food pantry and catholic outreaches which I may have to use and that is humbling as well, but with people out there that do not pass judgement and donate, I will be okay.

This is all so new to me and to ask virtual strangers because family and friends seem to be non-existent when you are down, except for the lectures on how and why I should have acted better. I humbly ask for any assistance that can be given and thank you more than my heart can say. Actually at this point, thank you would never be enough, I just need a light in my tunnel and to say it is okay to be down and ask for help.

Again, thank you for reading and listening to my story, if you can help I will be forever grateful and hope that in the future I can read these stories and help someone also.

Michelle

URGENT: 48 Hours To Save My Home From Foreclosure

I have less than 48 hours to save my home. Without immediate help, it will be taken from me (just learned about this platform a hour, ago). Just days before my approved refinance is set to close. I never imagined I would be in this position asking for help like this. But today, I truly need it. My home is scheduled for foreclosure on May 5th. I am currently refinancing and my new loan is already in motion with a closing date set for next week. However, the lender will not delay the foreclosure – even knowing the refinance is about to go through.

To stop the foreclosure, I must come with $12,000 immediately. This covers legal fees, late fees and accrued interest. Without it I will lose my home right before securing a loan that would put me back on stable financial ground. This is incredibly humbling. I’ve always been someone who gives and helps others, not someone who asks. But I am holding onto faith and believing that help can come in this moment of urgency. If you can give, please know that every single dollar matters, right now. If you cannot give, sharing this fundraiser as quickly as possible could make all the difference. Time is truly running out.

Thank you for your prayers, your support/donations and your compassion during this critical moment.

I’ve been paying my friends bills because she let me stay when I was an unable to afford my previous apartment, leaving no savings. I need deposit + first month’s rent .. I’m only here because I feel like I cannot get ahead and I feel like I’m repeating a cycle.   Thanks for listening.

Avoiding Eviction, one time emergency! Please. Family of 5

We’re not ones to always ask for help.

But our story has been going for a few months now, and we finally see a possible happy ending to it where we can get on track with things, but now we face a point where we could kind of lose everything that we’ve worked for I’ll explain…

My husband is an electrician of over five years. He works for a great company that has always been very gracious to us very stable and he’s been promoted a bit in the last few years, which has been great for us.

I stay at home with my almost two  year-old who is non-verbal currently. I was a pharmacy tech for years but we never qualified for childcare help and eventually when I had my second, now 6 year old, I had to leave my job and make sure my oldest, now 12, could get to and from school safely. We didn’t have a car at the time so we walked. My now second also has some neurological issues. We have appointments that total five a week…these just started happening recently. All of that has piled onto the fact that we had a good amount of debt from when we actually moved into our now three bedroom apartment home, that we have become so comfortable in.

Let me take you a little bit back backwards here in time…

(The reasoning is because I want to fully explain how we got to where we are how I can get out of this situation and how my family can be OK but I really wanna make sure that everybody knows where this has started how we got here and that it’s not something that we intend to ever repeat to have to ask you for any kind of help like this again.)

Last year we had to vacate our apartment due to reasons beyond our control. We did sign a contract stating we would not talk about it. We could not mention it with you know their name attached so I cannot do that, but it was a situation where I was able to get out of a lease legally and I was allowed to move out of an apartment that I was no longer allowed to live in because of safety regulations so within seven days, we have to find money for moving a U-Haul. You know a place to live basically completely unexpected mind you after just paying rent so we had a tough couple of months but to our luck the day before we actually moved out. We were qualified for a low income three bedroom home which was way bigger than our than two bedroom Home that we were paying more for so there was a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel there I think and we finally moved in the issue is we had debt from just small loans that we got here and there when we had to move and just general living my husband makes less than $4000 a month we do have a car we pay for car insurance or phones and other than that we have our rent and that’s basically our expenses our children get everything that they need we find ourselves in this situation where we’re struggling to pay rent and not be behind on other bills or be evicted so the point of this is, we are now finally in a three bedroom home. My three girls are so happy here we love our neighbors. The community is safer they can play outside. It’s everything that we wanted. My husband is working six days a week looking for a second job, but I fear that he is killing himself. I work side jobs as much as I possibly can in between The Girls and I sometimes will get a Neighbor to babysit so that I can try to make some money reselling here and there worth doing anything that I can to help out.

This leads us to where we are now we never got out of that circle. We are finally getting out of that circle, but we now faced the fact that we do not have rent money and our rent is now late. We can still come up with it in the next week, but we would need to come up with the full amount as we usually use flex. We would not be able to use flex now that our rent is late so our full rent is 1780 and is now due with a $95 late fee.. we have until the 14th.

They then add another fee. I just feel like even if we somehow made it to where we could have that(which after doing numbers it isn’t possible) by asking maybe one or two family members we do have it still wouldn’t be enough. I have no one except my mom and she’s on disability. I’m just seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.. we were almost caught up and I really thought we were ok but some loans got paid off and next thing we know we’re negative. With no check on rent and nothing but money for milk, fruit and gas for school and appointments. I know everyone’s life is hard, I know…

But I’ve always helped anyone I could and my husband has such a good heart and would take the shirt off his back for someone if they needed. My oldest has great grades and is in theatre and my middle is on the spectrum but high functioning with just needing a few therapies but is so smart and loves art.

We just need this month covered with rent to get through.. if we could just do this, pay this months rent. Not lose our apartment, home etc

I can’t imaging putting the kids through that again this summer. They have always had a stable home.

I don’t care anymore so I’m begging. I can post proof of rent and you can look us up on Facebook etc we really are just trying our hardest to catch up and be ok. I went through a lot mentally and I wasn’t working as much as I wanted in reselling etc. I get horrible side effects from meds and was so sick.. I know this didn’t help us catch up either so I feel horrible.

I’m finally feeling like myself, finally back to work; especially on sites like Vinted and I make reborn dolls.

I feel good again; we started reading the bible and watching church on Sundays.. I know how is going to help me and I figured maybe this is what I’m supposed to do? Ask for help?

That’s my story.

Single Momma in need of a vehicle

Hi everybody!!

I am a single momma to four. I have a full time job. I pay all bills. No child support from my ex husband as he is going through some serious medical problems and I didn’t want him to get into any trouble by not helping me out when he can barely help himself (he basically lives in a hospital).

My vehicle that I have had for five years has taken a crap. Took it to my mechanic who said it would cost me thousands of dollars to fix and it isn’t even worth that to fix it and that I should look into getting a new one.

Because I am a single momma and barely getting by as it is, I truly cannot afford a new car. Could I go get a loan out? Maybe. However that would add another bill to my plate and would set me BACKWARDS in life and I would like to continue going FORWARD. I’d like to not add more debt to my life. All my paychecks go to bills, food, and all my children’s needs. I really don’t have much left over to splurge on a vehicle right now. However, without a vehicle, I cannot do mother things such as appointments, taking them to school, home from school, or even go to work.

As much as I hate to ask for help, I am at the end of my rope and asking. I have been looking at cash cars around me and most if not all of the decent ones are roughly 5,000$. I am here asking if any kind soul is willing to donate to me and my children so that we can get a working vehicle for us to be able to work, go to school etc.

I appreciate yall taking the time to read my long rant and ramble. I do greatly appreciate any and all help that could be given to me. Thank you so much for reading!

Appreciative Mom- mini-crisis after mini-crisis

Hello everyone. I never thought I’d be asking for help, but here I am. I have been struggling with paying the car loan and rent. Between my medical issues getting worse with no clear diagnosis in sight, my mental health taking a nose dive and car repairs; we have gotten behind. My husband and I work full time, yet we are just not able to catch up right now. There have been mini-crisis after mini-crisis which at the time didn’t seem expensive until it racked up fast. I’m looking to get $2,500 to get us back caught up and out of the negative. Myself, husband, and 2 young boys are very very appreciative of anything you can gift us.

I am about to lose everything I worked for.

Hello, My name is, Brian. I feel embarrass to type this all out.

Where do I start? I have recently made some bad decisions in reference to our finances. Me and my wife have full-time jobs. My wife is going back to school. My intentions were to take on a few loans to balance out the bills and pay some off while she attends college.

This was contingent that she would still be able to work full-time. My wife is a tissue recovery specialist who has been at her job for 2 years, and has been in the medical field for 21 years. I am a retail Manager that has been in the same job for 22 years. She has been placed on perdiam. She will only come into work when they activate her. When she was placed in this roll, I was on the understanding that she would bring home at least $2,400.00 per month. I was wrong.

In the past 4 months she averages between $1,200 and $1,700 per month. This has placed us in a bad financial position. I am only asking this because I have no support from family, and right now it will come full circle with all the bills and loans are due. We do not make enough to pay bills in the month of May.

I have cashed in almost all of my stock, which wasn’t much. I only have, less than a $100 left.

Before this burden was to hit. I left my job, so we could take advantage of my ESOP. I took another job that paid the same, so we could stay afloat. I worked the new job for about 3 months before I left and came back.

I cashed in my ESOP. I will receive $10,000 per year for the next 5 years. I have already received the first installment. The next one isn’t due until October of this current year. That is to far out. If you need proof, I can provide it.

What I would like to request is, $55,000. This will clear up all debt and allow us to start fresh.

Going into a debt consolidation program will ruin our credit and the amount in fee’s will end up being the same amout of the current debt we owe.

What I would like to propose?

If I could get the amount requested, I can pay $800-$1000 per month on this repayment for the next 24 months. Along with that, the $10,000 checks I receive for the next 2 years will be sent to whoever supports my request.

This would allow us to get rid of all debt in 2 categories.

  1. Credit card debt- Cancel accounts and cut up all cards.
  2. Personal loan debt. No more loans.

I would like to thank all who took the time to read this. I hope to resolve this urgent matter as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out, if you have any questions about this matter. Or need further explanation. My grammer is horrible, I know. Please help us.

Brian Taylor482

I am currently having an issue with my paypal. I hope to resolve it soon.

Respectfully yours,

Brian Taylor

Falling On Hard Times

I have recently become a victim of a crypto scam. I invested much more than I should have out of naivete, and have put myself in a difficult position. I’ve been focusing on ways to recover, but many options are tapped out. This has never happened to me before. I humbly ask for assistance to cushion the impact on my finances.

Anything will help. Surviving a couple weeks is my goal before I should be able to bounce back out of this. My gratitude to anyone for reading and/or donating.

Car note

  • I never thought I would be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this, but right now I’m going through a very difficult financial situation and I’m trying to stay afloat. At the moment, I’m behind on my car payment, and the total balance I need to catch up is $1,550. This has been weighing heavily on me because my car is essential for getting to work and handling my daily responsibilities. Without it, I risk falling even further behind and potentially losing my only reliable way to earn income.

On top of that, I’m also dealing with credit card debt that has become harder to manage due to interest and everyday expenses. I’ve been trying my best to keep up with everything, but recently I fell behind and I’m doing everything I can to prevent the situation from getting worse.

I want to be honest—I’m not expecting one person to cover everything. I’m simply asking for any help anyone is willing to give. Even a few dollars can make a difference and help me get closer to catching up. Every bit would go directly toward my car payment and getting back on track financially.

I am currently working and actively trying to improve my situation. This isn’t about avoiding responsibility. I just hit a rough patch and need some support to get through it. Once I’m in a better place, I fully plan on paying it forward and helping others who find themselves in a similar situation.

It’s not easy for me to ask for help like this, but I’m doing it because I don’t have many options left right now. If you’re able to help, I would truly appreciate it more than I can express. If not, I completely understand, and I’m still grateful you took the time to read this.

Thank you for your time, support, and [
