I am raising funds on behalf of Myself and My Daughter who is an incredible Young Lady whose strength and dedication inspire everyone who knows her. I put the needs of my family before my own, despite facing challenges that would overwhelm most people.
I am a full-time caregiver for my daughter, who was born with DiGeorge syndrome. After undergoing a life-saving heart transplant, my daughter’s kidneys failed, and she now depends on dialysis three times every week to stay alive. Because of their unstable housing situation, she was denied placement on the kidney transplant list—a heartbreaking setback that has made finding safe, stable housing even more urgent.
Although I receive IHSS income while caring for my daughter, it is simply not enough to cover the family’s basic needs. I am also raising four other children and helping care for my eight-month-old grandbaby. In addition, I am apart of the “sandwich generation,” providing support and care for both my mother and my grandmother while trying to keep my family together.
I have worked tirelessly to find employment that fits around my daughter’s dialysis schedule. I have applied for countless jobs, invested in a remote job subscription service, and continues searching every day, but finding work that accommodates my caregiving responsibilities has been far more difficult than expected.
As if these challenges weren’t enough, my family is now facing an unlawful detainer after my rental assistance program stopped paying rent because of a severe infestation in our apartment. Despite repeated requests, management failed to correct the problem or relocate our family, even though other tenants with similar issues were moved to different units. Living in these conditions has forced our family to throw away many of our belongings, and we are now preparing for court while being told I may have to pursue a separate civil case to hold management accountable.
The emotional, physical, and financial toll has been overwhelming. No family should have to live in unsafe conditions while caring for a medically fragile child.

Please help me with my female dachshund’s oral surgery. Her name is Jordy. She is an 11 year old all black miniature dachshund. I have been softening Jordy’s food and giving her canned food to help her eat but she still is having pain. She has actually lost weight due to not eating as much because of the pain. Jordy will rub the sides of her mouth on her blankets or the floor to alleviate the pain and paw at her mouth, it is so sad to watch. Jordy’s breath is also very bad from her teeth needing attention. I have tried brushing her teeth but lately it’s too painful for her.
Jordy’s veterinarian has given me the estimate of the cost of the surgery. They have quoted between $3800-$5000 due to how bad her teeth/gums are. After doing x-rays on her mouth they are estimating having to pull between 10-15 teeth. Jordy will be put under anesthesia and be kept for most of the day after surgery to make sure she is okay. They will also prescribe pain meds and antibiotics to take home.
After getting this estimate I just broke down and cried. I do not have that kind of money just laying around to pay for her surgery and unfortunately it needs done immediately before it gets worse. I am asking anyone who can help me get my Jordy back to being pain free, I would greatly appreciate the generosity.

I was recently in a serious car accident that totaled my car and left me shaken trying to manage my insurance claim while still recovering. Because car was financed, I received no payout in fact I may still owe money on a car i no longer have. I currently have no car. My insurance cut off my rental coverage seven days after my accident and I’ve been paying rental fees, medical bills, and daily expenses out of pocket. Without a vehicle I cannot get to work, and the costs are becoming impossible to manage. My Name is Donna France — and My Family Is Facing Homelessness My name is Donna France, and I am a single mother of two little boys, ages 3 and 5. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart because my family is in a very difficult and frightening situation. Not long ago, I bought a trailer home from someone I trusted. Unfortunately, I later discovered that I was never properly given the correct legal title for the property. When I began trying to apply for assistance programs to repair my home, I needed the title — but the situation quickly became much more complicated. After locating the VIN number of the trailer and contacting the courthouse, I was told something devastating: the person who sold me the trailer did not legally own it, and the property has multiple liens against it. Because I am not listed as the legal owner, I have been unable to get information about the liens or resolve the issue. Eventually, the seller did provide me with a title — but it does not even match my trailer. Now the Land Is Being Sold Another serious problem is that I only purchased the trailer itself, not the land underneath it. Recently, the person who sold it to me sent someone to look at the land because he plans to sell it. If the land is sold, my children and I could lose the only place we have to live. Taking legal action isn’t an option for me right now because it could lead to us being forced off the land immediately. I am terrified that my children and I may soon have nowhere to go. Our Home Is Also Falling Apart Even if I were able to find land to move the trailer to, there’s another problem — the trailer itself is in very poor condition. Our home currently has: No proper heating No insulation Structural damage that makes moving it extremely difficult During the winter, we rely on portable heaters, but even then the house becomes very cold and uncomfortable for my children. I can provide proof of the liens, messages, and photos showing the condition of the home to anyone who wishes to see them. Not only would I need the money listed above, but, I would need money to move my belongings out of the residence in question. I lived at this residence for 7 years, not a day late with rent. My lease is complete. I just am not financially able to move my belongings out like I would like to. Since the lease is finished and I choose not renew it, due to financial hardship, the landlord has chosen to go through an eviction to remove my belongings that I am not financially able to remove myself. I have decent enough rapport with the landlord that if I were to contact him/her saying that I have the funds to move out/ end eviction process, I’m sure they will grant me the chance still to move my belongings out and clean, but time is of the essence. Let me tell you, sudden medical bills can take out anyone, including medical professionals.
Award winning, “friendliest nurse” working with end of life patients and their families every day. Recently got a positive cancer diagnosis and need to take time off work for surgery and recovery. I just switched companies late last year, and thus, I am not eligible for FMLA. And in NYC, disability pays a measley $170 a week. That’s right, look it up! The amount has not been updated since 1983. You read that right, over 40 years ago. As you can imagine, that can’t cover anyone’s rent let alone bills or groceries.
Having recently gotten divorced (it’s been a hell of a year), I’m languishing in my tiny studio, mining the Internet for any ideas since I’m unable to work.

Hello all. I am a single mom working 40+ hours a week and I’m asking for help with my rent. My children are ages 13 and 7 years old.
