Help Retired couple being sued for $70K by the Fed Govt for a SBA COVID loan.

We are being sued for $70K by the Fed Govt for a SBA COVID loan.
Our business was in business & family travel agency for 21 years!
At the time, everybody was told to stay home and not leave your house or go outside unless necessary. This obviously stopped all travel plans, business, and family. We were a small company, so we relied on our commissions. COVID lasted for three years, officially stated by the government, and our agency never came back. No one was traveling for quite some time. We didn’t know what to do. It was very scary. Our personal funds were gone. All our business funds were gone. People were dying in the hospital intensive care units all over the world. We had no choice but to apply for assistance. At the time, we were just thankful we had some money to pay our rent and buy food. Now we’re being told this is an unforgivable loan, and we are responsible to pay the entire balance of $70K. We had no choice but to take the money, or we would’ve been thrown out in the streets and not eaten.
I don’t think anybody here would have taken that choice. We needed help. There’s no way we can pay this back. Please, please, please, please!!!
If you know anybody who has funds available that could assist me,
we would be forever grateful, obviously to that person or agency,
but we need help.
Please, if you can find it in your heart to help us, we have nowhere else to go. We have no children to help us!

needed for my daughter’s life-saving medical recovery and urgent bills

Urgent: $37,000 needed for my daughter’s life-saving medical recovery and urgent bills

Story Description (Descripción de la situación)

To all kind hearts,

am reaching out in a moment of extreme desperation. My young daughter has recently faced a severe and prolonged hospitalization that has turned our world upside down. Seeing her fight for her health has been the most painful experience a parent can endure, and unfortunately, her current situation remains very difficult and fragile.

This medical crisis hasn’t just affected her health; it has completely overwhelmed our family’s finances. Due to the months spent by her side in the hospital, we have fallen dangerously behind on all our essential commitments. We are currently facing over $37,000 in debt, which includes critical housing payments and transportation costs that we are at risk of losing.

We need these funds to cover:

Mounting medical bills not covered by insurance.

Housing arrears to prevent eviction while she recovers.

Transportation debt to ensure we can continue taking her to her ongoing specialist appointments.

Our priority is her health, but the weight of these debts makes it impossible to focus on her recovery. We are at a breaking point and fear losing the roof over our heads during this critical time.

Please, if you can find it in your heart to help us, any donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward stabilizing our home and ensuring my daughter gets the care she needs.

Helping Harley Quinn Fight Lymphoma

Dear Fellow Dog Lovers,
I am writing this with a heavy heart to share some difficult news about our beloved Rottweiler, Harley Quinn. Recently, Harley was diagnosed with lymphoma.
For those who know her, Harley Quinn is more than just a pet—she is our baby, our protector, and the soul of our home. Whether she’s greeting you with her signature “Rottie rumble” or leaning her big head against your knee for a scratch, she has a way of making everyone feel loved. She still has so much life and love to give, and we are not ready to say goodbye to our girl.
The Challenge We Face
The good news is that lymphoma in dogs is often treatable. Our vet has recommended the CHOP (Wisconsin-Madison) protocol. This involves nine weeks of chemotherapy induction followed by treatments spanning four months. This offers the best chance of putting her into remission and giving her more happy years by our side.
Harley is currently in her second week of chemo and is doing incredibly well. She hasn’t had any side effects so far and is acting like her old, energetic self. We are very optimistic that she will fight this for as long as she can.
How You Can Help
However, the cost of specialized oncology care is significant. Between treatments, scans, and supportive care, the estimated expenses will reach approximately $14,360.
We are doing everything in our power to fund her care; we are not going to give up on her. I am humbly asking for your help to give Harley Quinn the fighting chance she deserves. Any contribution, no matter the size, goes directly toward her medical bills and life-saving treatments.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support.

Help Me Save My Children’s Only Stability Before Court in 2 Days

For the last 10 years, I have carried more loss and hardship than I ever imagined possible, yet I have always done everything I could to keep moving forward without asking anyone for help.

Ten years ago, on my birthday, my husband was tragically taken from me through an act of violence. Five years later, I lost my second spouse unexpectedly to a brain aneurysm. Then, two years ago, I lost my father as well. Through every loss, every setback, and every moment where life felt unbearable, I continued to push forward the best I could for myself and, most importantly, for my children.

My children have experienced so much heartbreak and instability throughout the years, and through it all, this home has been the one place that has provided them comfort, consistency, and security. It has been the place they could count on when everything else in life felt uncertain. The possibility of losing our home is not just about losing a place to live; it is the possibility of losing the stability that has helped carry my children through unimaginable grief and change.

Last year, after already struggling to recover emotionally and financially from years of loss, I lost my job. The very next day, I was involved in a severe T-bone accident that left me injured and unable to quickly recover financially. Only weeks later, I was involved in another accident that further worsened my previous injuries. I am still actively receiving medical treatment and working through the compensation process from these accidents while also trying to replace my vehicle. These unexpected hardships are ultimately what caused me to fall behind financially in the first place.

I have always been the person others could lean on. I have always tried to figure things out on my own, stay strong, and help others whenever I was able. Asking for help has never come easy to me, but today I am facing one of the hardest moments of my life.

At this time, I am trying to raise a minimum of $13,500 immediately to help prevent the loss of our home, while the total amount needed to fully save it is approximately $43,000. Despite everything, I have not given up. I am still fighting for my children, for our stability, and for the opportunity to rebuild after an incredibly difficult season of life.

If you are able to donate, share this campaign, or even offer words of encouragement, it would mean more to me than I can fully express. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps create a little more time, a little more hope, and a chance for my family to move forward without losing the one thing that has remained constant through so much loss.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for your kindness, and for standing beside my family during a time when we truly need support.

With gratitude,
Amy

A Senior Citizen Really Needs Your Help

I am a 60-year-old woman. I had a full-time job, but I was out of work due to a medical condition I was recently diagnosed with. I have painful bladder syndrome, and it is really painful. In the past, I was always healthy, so this came as a big surprise, and it has changed my life.

I am in the process of waiting to be approved for social security disability, and they take a long time to either approve or deny your application. In the meantime, I am not earning money to help me while I am waiting for them.

I have never been one to get government help, such as food stamps, and I have worked all my life since the age of 16 years old. I truly do not like to ask for money from people, but I am really in a desperate situation.

Also, I will need to go through some treatments soon, as I don’t yet have social security disability or insurance until I am approved for it, I can’t help myself like I usually would.

I need money to survive on and to pay for treatments until I get disability.

I estimate that I will need about $5,000 to $8,000 to pay my bills, eat, and get treatments.

I appreciate any help anyone can give me. I send you blessings and positive energy in advance.

Young Family in Desperate Financial Need

Hi everyone,

My name is Katlyn, and writing this request has been incredibly difficult. I never imagined I’d be asking strangers for help, but life has become so overwhelming that my husband and I feel like we’re drowning. We’ve tried everything to stay afloat, but life keeps throwing us unexpected challenges.

Over the past two years, we’ve been struggling financially due to job losses, accumulating debt, and mounting bills. The biggest setback is keeping up with loan payments for our vehicle which was stolen in 2024. To avoid legal action from the bank, we’ve been carrying a $80k loan balance. The insurance company refuses to settle the claim, so we’re stuck with this burden. We’ve maxed out our credit cards, and our savings account, which was used to pay our mortgage for those two years, is now depleted. Despite trying to manage everything on our own, we’ve reached a point where we truly need support.

We’re seeking your assistance of approximately $30k to help cover our smaller debts. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. This financial relief would help ease some of our burdens and bring a sense of normalcy back to my family.

Every day has been a struggle between survival and falling behind. We’re actively working to improve our situation for our two children, and we haven’t given up, but we desperately need a helping hand to get through this difficult time.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for showing compassion to a family going through such a tough time. Your kindness could truly make a life-changing difference for us.

Best regards,
Katlyn

Totaled the car when I hit a deer, now I can’t get to visit with my son

https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/FWJ8VB8KCZKN6

Three days ago, I hit a deer and it totaled my car, a 2008 Honda Element with about 130,000 miles on it. It wasn’t anything fancy, but it was reliable, good on gas, and it got me where I needed to go.

I live in the South where public transportation really isn’t an option, and I just started a new job, so not having a vehicle has made everything difficult. But the hardest part is that my 5-year-old son currently lives about an hour away, and I’m working hard to get him back in my custody.

Right now I have visitation once or twice a week, and without a car, I can’t reliably get to see him. He’s the most important thing in my life, and I’m trying to do everything I can to be there for him and build a stable life for us.

I’m not asking for anything fancy. I just need help getting something dependable so I can work, make my visits, and keep moving forward.

If you’re able to help in any way, I would be deeply grateful. And if you can’t help financially, prayers for me and my son would still mean a lot.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Mortgage Help and Credit Cards and Car accident

Greetings,

Three years ago, I was in a major car accident, I was rear-ended and since then I have not worked a day, as for a regular job.  I have health issues now, and I don’t know if I can work again.  I am currently not on disability though recently was a candidate for food assistance program.  I have been living off of my savings, credit cards and a modest rental property income which I was smart to keep for a rental.  An older home that I bought years ago and kept for rental.    It needs some repair, so you know I can rent it out at a higher rate that can generate a better income than now.  To do so I need to install a central heat cooling system and a new roof.  That’s the least, just to make it up to date, and rentable. This house is my only source of income, that I receive less than five hundred a month from.  I am currently posting it up for sale, but because it is old and needs remodeling, I can’t get much for it.  Add to that, it is my only source of income.  I would really like to keep it as an income source since I don’t work.  I have heart problems, and other health issues.

I also live in a duplex, also very old, and I cannot rent the side that is vacant right now, it needs to be fixed, major issues such as plumbing, the bathroom and tub don’t work, and the water is not connected completely.  Also, it has no heating or cooling.  The windows are totally warned out, and it gets cold because of windows issues so I cannot install a central heat.  It is located in a good street, and I think it’s a nice city there is a school cross from it and I think if I can fix it, it will make the neighborhood look better, also it will generate a better income.  the front of my side of the duplex where I reside has a walkway to my door that has been raised and messed up by an older tree roots that’s making it a hazardous to walk on, not walkable at all,  the tree is big and is in my yard, that I cannot fix.  the path is made out of cement and needs to be pulled by a crane it’s too heavy.  Also, all windows need to be replaced in the whole duplex.  This is my only other property I have that I currently reside in.  I started fixing my duplex, hoping to rent the vacant side however, I ran out of money, and I really want to fix the whole duplex nicely, it’s in a location that is near shops and it’s convenient.  If fixed I think the street will look much better, and I can rent the vacant side for an income in addition to the rented home I think I can then live off of both incomes.

Since the car accident, I have been living off of my savings and the modest income I receive from the rented home however, since I do not work, I started using credit cards to spend and fix some areas in the duplex that needed help badly-there was rat-infestation issues.    However, I did not have any other source of income; I used too much of that and took out a loan hoping to get the duplex rented but that did not work out as I planned.  It took a lot of tolls on me, and my credit cards are close to twenty grand in balance, something I did not want at all.  I also missed my first mortgage payment this month on my duplex I filled out a financial hardship with the mortgage company, and I hope they can help me, and I can keep a roof over my head.

I have worked very hard throughout the years, and I really just want to have whatever years left to live in dignity and be able just for once in years now, to have an A/C that works it gets really hot in the summer especially June and July and I am really worried that my heart is going to give me issues.  I really appreciate you and thanks in advance this is the only post and my first time doing this.  Thank you!

Disabled with a bad roof needing spinal surgery

Hello my name is Kelly. I have been disabled for a long time due to injury and serious health problems. I had fought for years to receive disability benefits and have not been able to work and provide to our families income. My husband Brian has been working long crazy hours to support our family he had a great job with wonderful insurance. His division was sold to a different company and the insurance is expensive and lacks the coverage I need. I go to doctors at least 3 times a week to receive treatments. About a year ago we had a tree go through our roof our insurance company would not cover saying our roof was to old, as we had water leaking into our bedroom damaged walls and mold in our attic, we had to put on a new roof. We had no savings or cash on hand to pay for said roof we had to go with a company that offered financing with high interest rates. Flash forward to a March 2026 a major storm came through and destroyed our chimney and damaged our roof. Insurance is not paying enough to cover. My husband has decided to take a job that pays less because the insurance is better as I need several surgeries on my spine and knee, hip replacements as well as medication costs. I am needing $50,000 to pay off our roof and get it fixed as well as my out of pocket for surgery. I am so worried that my health is going to cause us to lose our home. We would be grateful for any help that is given. I would love to be well enough to go back into the work force and be able to help others and repay the kindness to anyone who helps us.

Thank you,

Kelly

Mom w 2 teenage sons in crisis

I’m Shawne,51 ; mother of 4 2 grown n two teenagers in 10th& 11 th grade . I’m asking for help cus I’m currently struggling financially since I’ve left my kids father almost a year ago. My current situation is I’m in court w landlord for negligence which retaliation is my defense for withholding my rent due to uninhabitable circumstances mold ,pest infestation , leaks, non functional essential appliances, broken doors/windows. The landlord has decided to evict me n say non payment to evict. I called for code violations to see if I was at fault or landlord. Inspection concluded the landlord was responsible, the violator in this matter so  I was to be evicted 4/7/26 but because I had a pending extension because my step father died n landlord filed a motion to evict cus I didn’t respond on time it was granted until I filed a motion against it n judgement was in my favor to stay the writ. Thank goodness! But im no lawyer or even know what im doing really but it’s working . I have lived here 8 years without arrears til now n this rental isn’t much but I was able to afford until I put my kids father out . We did 50/50 on bills now I’m struggling financially. Now that I called for this inspection n the landlord failed they want to evict n say non payment when im paying to court in escrow n I got IFP cus im on snap n ssdi/ ssi . That helped me to get my appeal n not have to pay the amount of back rent due to landlord. So I have to stay w my payment of rent to court in order to keep the case alive. I’m so glad I found out about this helping hand of hope for struggling family , thankful to have this opportunity to tell my story. I’m asking for help w lawyers, move, car, money of any sort to keep us afloat to be able to afford my bills. My electric will be shut off on 5/17/26 . I’m at my wits end but I had to get out of the relationship that I was only showing integrity for. This was a big step for me to do cus I was in this relationship for more then half my life . The emotional, mentally draining relationship between him and I have taken a toll on our kids as well. It’s been hard to get through this situation alone . So I started doing research n came across this website where I might be able to get help with my life financially, cus I’m on a fixed income . My life is a mess right now and I’m overwhelmed with all this stress, money problems, court proceedings, etc. . I’m trying to get myself out of the darkness cus I am so sad/depressed and it’s spilling over to my sons who life is about to start . I’m not a man but I’m raising them to the best of my knowledge. Now they haven’t any men in their lives my dad is deceased 1981, my grandfather 2014 cancer deceased, my stepdad3/6/26 COPD. Their grandfather on dad side left his family a long time ago. His grandfather is deceased as well. I do have a grown son who’s trying to help but he’s in a different state, now he’s preparing to be a dad and I’m not trying to make him do that anymore because he’s gonna get his own baby soon. I feel like a burden , also their own father was here but absent cus he was dishonest and betrayed the trust in us all. I would appreciate any help of any kind for me and my sons to move onto a new beginning. Our new chapter needs love respect and honesty.  Thank you again truly appreciative and humbly grateful. I wrote another letter but forgot my Cash App info so I wrote another one if both can be combined ok but if not then ok thank you again

Seeking Stability to Secure My Small Business Future and Home

To anyone taking the time to read this, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your attention. My name is Ryan, and I am reaching out today because I have found myself in a position where my drive to build a future has been temporarily outpaced by immediate, pressing financial obligations. Specifically, I am seeking assistance to cover my rent and basic living expenses for this month to avoid eviction and keep my business operations alive.

For the past several years, I have poured my energy into the aviation industry and entrepreneurship. I operate a compliance consultancy focused on helping Part 135 aviation operators navigate the complex regulatory environment, and I have been working tirelessly to launch a coffee brand. My goal has always been to be a provider and a creator—someone who contributes to the economy and supports those around me. However, as many small business owners know, the transition from “building” to “sustainable” is often a razor-thin line.

Recently, a combination of delayed business funding and a lull in consulting contracts has created a perfect storm. While I have applications in for business financing and am actively pursuing new leads, those solutions are not moving as fast as the calendar. I currently live in Forney, Texas, and as the first of the month has passed, the weight of the overhead for both my home and my small business office has become a source of immense stress. My primary concern is maintaining a stable roof over my head so that I can continue the work I’ve started.

When you are an entrepreneur, your home is often your headquarters. Losing my housing wouldn’t just mean losing a place to sleep; it would mean losing the infrastructure I need to manage my aviation compliance work and keep my coffee startup moving forward. I have spent months fine-tuning branding and logistics, and I am so close to seeing these projects yield results. To fall short now, due to a temporary gap in cash flow, feels like watching years of hard work slip away.

I am not looking for a permanent hand-out, but rather a bridge to get me through this specific month. Your donation would go directly toward my rent and the utility bills required to keep my home office functional. It would buy me the time needed for my pending funding to clear and for my current business projects to regain their footing.

I understand that many people are facing their own struggles, which makes any contribution you can provide even more meaningful. Whether it is $5 or $50, every bit helps me close the gap and stay focused on my goal of returning to a position where I can once again be the one giving back to others. Thank you for your kindness, your empathy, and for considering my story.

A Caregiver’s Wish

Hi,

My name is April and I would like to purchase a house valued is at $400,000.

So, a little background. My roommate and I are caregivers.  Around 2016, a relative of a friend visited me and asked me to be a caregiver to her sister- in- law.  I resisted because she wanted me to move into her sister- in- laws home, and I liked my independence.  But she insisted.  I told her I would agree only after she accepts my roommate, which she did.

The conditions of this arrangement were that I WAS NOT going to be paid.  But I would live at her house rent free. At that time, my roommate and I both had jobs, and the lady at the time was able to take care of herself.  The reason for us being there was because she had a severe accident after drinking and damaged her shoulder.  Her sister-in-law wanted someone to be there with her to keep an eye on her.

She was in her 80’s at the time we moved in, and while struggling, she was still self-sufficient.  She had a little dog, who she let pee in the house, and her house was very chaotic and had strong smell.  Nevertheless, we accepted the job.

We would later find out that she has dementia.   Dementia requires 24/7 care, especially when it progresses.  We didn’t know about this issue when we first accepted the job.  And the first few years living with her things would be okay.  We got the house in order, trained her dog, cleaned things up, and started routine. The lady was actually fiercely independent but REQUIRED our help.  My roommate eventually had to leave her job, and she spent the who day caring for the lady.  I was also giving the job of helping another family member.  After about a year, my roommate requested pay for taking care of the lady and eventually they agreed to a small sum, about $200 a week.  I was not paid.

Throughout the years, her dementia would progress.  She would forget things, repeat a lot. She would do a lot of Sundowning where they start expressing how they want to go home.  She would have mood swings and bouts of anger.  She would try to leave the house to walk home to New Jersey, we live in Florida. And so many other symptoms.  We had to keep locks on the door, and eventually we would need to monitor her with cameras.  My roommate would eventually ask for more pay and after family members rebuked the lady, she agreed to give her $500 a week.  I still did not get paid and it was going on 8 years.  We also adjusted the lady’s diet, so she ate very well and very healthy.  We took her out to restaurants and cafés and other activities.  And doctors and nurses complimented how excellent her health was and how well she was doing for her age.  She was even able to go off several medications.

As her symptoms progressed, my roommate would have nervous breakdown, and I had to do a lot more with taking care of the lady as well as my other jobs, I still was not paid for this one.  My roommate eventually got fed up with me not being paid and started to present it to the lady’s sister-in-law.  Finally, she agreed to pay me $200 a week.  The would be in the final year and a half of the lady’s life.  She started to completely decline and would eventually be bedridden. We took care of her and changed her in bed and did all we could, and eventually after several months, she passed away at 97 years old.  We took care of her for 10 years.

In the time I took care of Isobel, I could only work part time (babysitting, nanny, caregiving), I work low-income to allow people to afford these services.  So, I make between $200-$350 a week.  But I could not work full because I needed the time to care for the lady.

So, for the house.  It is the house we lived in to take care of the lady.  The family wants to sell it, and I would like to buy it.  I need help because I need the money to accomplish this endeavor.

Thank-you.
