“Struggling Iraq Vet (Lost Left Arm) Can’t Get to Doctor — Lost My Only Vehicle

My name is Joseph Wilson , a proud Iraq War veteran who gave everything for this country and now finds myself fighting a new battle just to survive and stay independent.

In Iraq, I lost my left arm serving our nation. I came home as an amputee with a determination to rebuild my life. For years I pushed through the pain, the phantom sensations, and the daily frustrations that come with missing an arm. I worked hard, adapted, and tried to live with dignity. But the cost of being a disabled veteran has finally caught up with me in ways I never expected.

I can no longer work due to my injury and the complications that followed. Without steady income, I lost my vehicle — the one thing that gave me freedom and access to medical care. Because I couldn’t afford to keep it on the road, I’ve now missed my last two critical prosthetic appointments. These aren’t optional visits. Without proper fitting and adjustments to my prosthetic arm, I lose more and more function every day. Simple tasks like dressing myself, preparing food, or even driving (if I ever get another vehicle) become nearly impossible. The longer I go without these appointments, the harder it becomes to stay independent and the more pain I endure.

I’m a fighter — I always have been — but right now I’m exhausted and honestly scared. Living in New York City as a left arm amputee without reliable transportation means I’m trapped. Doctor visits, therapy, grocery shopping, and basic errands turn into major obstacles. Every day that passes without help feels like I’m slowly losing the hard-won progress I made after coming home from war.

I’m not asking for luxury. I’m asking for a chance to get back on my feet — literally and figuratively. The funds from this campaign will first go toward securing reliable transportation so I can attend my prosthetic appointments and future medical needs. Any additional support will help with basic living expenses, medication, and the high out-of-pocket costs that veterans like me sometimes fall through the cracks on.

I never thought I’d be in this position after serving my country. I’m humbled and grateful for every single person who reads this. Whether you can donate $5, $10, $25, or simply share this campaign with your friends and family — you are giving me more than money. You’re giving me hope, dignity, and the ability to keep fighting.

To every veteran out there struggling in silence: you are not alone. To every American who believes in supporting those who served: thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness will not be wasted.

Please help me get my prosthetic care back on track and regain some independence. Every share and every donation brings me one step closer to the life I fought so hard to return to.

With deepest regards,

venmo-@Joseph-Wilson-280

Disabled Broke and In Love

Hi there to all the other dreamers out there. I’m newly disabled after years of a mystery illness. It took 6 years to diagnose and I thought my life was over at 41 years old. My mother died at 38 years old so I figured it was my time. She had a very rare disorder called Pheaochromacytoma. A rare tumor on her adrenal glands.  We didn’t know and she was gone within 72 hours. Fast forward to 2010 and I’m diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I was never able to have children and nobody wanted to marry a broken woman. In late 2019, I began having major issues with slowing down, profusely sweating with a tiny movement, brain fog, fast weight gain. To shorten the agonizing tale, 6 years later they figured out it is Secondary adrenal insufficiency. Slowly I’ve begun feeling a bit like a human. My family took me on a cruise for the first time and I met someone.  I still feel sickly and feel ugly and fat but this person made me feel incredible.  He works on a ship though. We’ve been seeing each, we’ll as best as long distance like that can possibly do. We’re falling in love but it’s incredibly complicated.  As a disabled person,  I am on a ridiculously limited income. I’m here begging and I mean begging to get some funds to help facilitate our rare chances to be together in person.  I can visit him more often but not without help. And it’s only for a day or 2 at a time. This is no fantasy.  He’s a beautiful man from another country and we’re trying to make our own magic. I’m just started to feel alive again but I can’t do it alone. I stopped believing I’d ever find love and sort of stopped believing in love at all. I want desperately to believe in magic. In fact he’s actually a magician as wild as that sounds. If you still believe and want to bless someone, I could never be thankful enough. I could never say words to fully express my gratitude but I vow to keep spreading love and positivity. I’m 47 now and probably never felt joy like this in my entire life. After years of surgeries,  injuries, medical drama, traumatic deaths, it feels like maybe the universe is ready to let me breathe.

For those still here, I’m Tina and here’s my link

Single mother in urgent need of help for essentials and child’s needs

Hello to everyone in this community. I am reaching out to you today because I find myself in a situation I never imagined I would be in. As a single mother who is currently unemployed, I am facing an incredibly difficult time trying to keep a roof over my child’s head and provide the basic necessities that every child deserves. I am writing this plea for help with a lot of humility, hoping that there are kind souls out there who can support us during this crisis.

Right now, my biggest worry is our housing situation. I am struggling to cover my rent, and the fear of losing our home is something that keeps me awake every night. Beyond the rent, the cost of living has become overwhelming. I need to ensure that my child has healthy food on the table and that I can keep up with the utility bills so we have electricity and water. Being without a job has stripped away my stability, and despite my best efforts to find new opportunities, the legal challenges I am currently facing regarding my child’s rights have made it almost impossible to manage everything at once.

My goal is to raise $500. This amount would be a complete life-changer for us right now. It would allow me to pay a significant portion of my rent and clear some of the overdue bills for our home. More importantly, it would allow me to go to the store and buy enough groceries, diapers, and other essential items for my child to last us for the coming weeks. Having this financial cushion would give me the breathing room I so desperately need to focus on the upcoming legal battle for my child’s future and well-being.

I want to be clear that I am a hardworking person, but life has thrown some very hard challenges my way all at once. My child is 1,5 years old and I’m constantly trying to find a new job. Every single dollar donated will go directly toward our survival – specifically for shelter, food, and my child’s immediate needs. I believe in the power of community and the kindness of strangers. If you are not able to donate, I would appreciate your prayers and positive thoughts as we navigate this storm.

I have set up a PayPal.me link to make the process safe and simple for anyone who wishes to help. I am also able to receive support via Revolut if that is more convenient for you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my story and for considering helping a mother and child in their time of need. Your generosity means the world to us and gives me the hope I need to keep going

I Just Want to Have Some Stability – Your Kindness is Valued & I Will Pass it Forward Every Chance I Get

Hello, to any kind strangers that take the time to read this.

My name is Aimee and I am a 33 year old woman (34 in 2 days) living in Washington State.

The past several years have proven more than I can withstand and although I have tried again and again to get my head back above water, I have yet to succeed. I was attacked by a very large dog (180 pound Argentine Mastif) who grabbed a hold of my belly while I was laying down and pulled and jerked his head so hard, so many times, that the skin on my belly tore wide open. His owner, my ex boyfriend, was arguing with me and he told the dog to “get her”. I am so grateful to be alive, and also that he did not attack my face, or I would be unrecognizable today. Because this all happened while I was on the opposite side of the state, where I didn’t know anyone except my abusive (now ex) boyfriend, I had no chance of going home. I was in no condition to try and travel, and nowhere to go where I could stay even if I had made it across the pass during the winter in my condition. I ended up with Suchers (soochers? they are like stitches but really big and for very deep wounds)  and a draining tube hanging out of my tummy which swelled up like I was 6 months pregnant for the bigger half of my healing process. The fact that I had nowhere to go was used against me, so my ex told me that I would be forced to be on the streets unless I agreed to tell no one that he told the dog to do it and for the dog to not be put down either. I honestly didn’t really want to put the dog down anyways, because it was not his fault. He was only doing what his owner told him to do and he looked like he felt guilty when it was all over. Anyways, I had to go back to the house that it happened at, with the same guy and dog.

This is actually where things got even worse, because he would give me one of the pain meds I was prescribed, and then he would leave, telling me that he would be back that night. He wasn’t. Over and over he would be gone for 2, 3, even 4 days at a time. He did not leave me with food or much more than a water bottle. I was not physically able to get myself to the bathroom and I ended up urinating on myself almost every time that he left. It was disgusting and humiliating. I have never been so hungry and thirsty in my life. I would use all of my mental energy to focus and try to get someone outside to hear me so that they could bring me some food and something to drink. My wound came close to getting infected because I was not able to keep myself clean. This went on for 6 months until I was finally healed up enough to leave and run away. Anyways…. although this has caused significant emotional and mental trauma. I have wanted nothing more but to get back on my feet again. I don’t want that one moment of abuse to take everything from me.

I am not asking any one person to cover everything, because I know that times are hard right now for just about everyone. If anyone is able to send a couple of bucks, you would be beyond appreciated.

My total goal is this:

$3000 to get a car so that I can get a job and get to and from work

$5000 to cover first and last month’s rent so I can get into an apartment and out of the shelters around town (I am tired of my stuff getting stolen all the time!)

I still have $16,000 in medical bills, but I am planning on gettting a job so that I can pay all of that off

I am already out of food stamps and it is only 1/2 way through the month. It is hard to make food last when you don’t have access to a refridgerator.

So if anyone is able to send a couple hundred dollars for food this month that would be very appreciated!!

Every dollar sent will go towards rebuilding my life into something productive and joyous, so I can spread more joy and kindness as well to those who need it. Here’s to getting my head above water. Life is too precious to be spent struggling.

My birthday is on the 16th! Anyone who wants to say hello and wish me a happy birthday, it would make me smile :)  my email is: aimeenicole46and2@gmail.com (happy bday wishes only, not for sending $)

Young Ecuadorian woman and American man starting a family

I, Steven Emery Evens Jr, and my future esposa, Evelyn Arleth Marin (Evens), are starting our life together. And both of my parents passed away, while she still has her mother. Her mother, however, lives in poverty in her home country, Ecuador. We have been struggling to afford hotels each night, and have recently had to sleep in my work truck (the girls in the back seat on top of clothes and blankets, and me in the front seat while refusing to recline it and impose on their sleeping space) Although uncomfortable, my girls have given me the strength I need to push through the setbacks. My goal has been to start a company together with her, doing Home Remodeling and Interior Design. I want her to be able to take on the designing aspect, while I handle the remodeling part. She doesn’t speak much English, but I speak enough Spanish to keep the relationship romantic and interesting. However, I feel as if we would be able to reach a wider market of clients, due to her Spanish speaking. We have an 11 year old daughter, that she had with another man in Ecuador, long before we met. Another goal of mine is to adopt Katrina, and marry Arleth. I am the only one who can work now, so it’s been rough on us both just struggling to get by. I’ve been trying desperately to get us out of hotels and one room living spaces. But, each time that it seems we are about to get ahead, I’ve been set back by bills or my work truck being impounded outside of a potential customers home. We desperately need someone to help us get out of this predicament. We would be willing to pay back each donor tenfold. I know that we both have the determination and will it takes, in order to become a successful business together. If you would like to help up, you could send a cashapp to either her @Evelynmn27 , or to my cashapp @StevieEvens . They coincide with our phone numbers. Mine is 267-446-2211. And she doesn’t want her number given out until we have made contact with potential donors and skimmed out spam or potentially dangerous people. Please help us out, if you have the charity and capacity to afford it. God Bless each and every person who has taken the time to read this. God Bless each and every one of you, as well, for being willing to help someone on this website. Thank you 🙏🏼🫶🏼

Single dad recovering from vicious attack

Thomas’s life changed forever after he was violently assaulted and attacked by the assailants’ dogs, suffering multiple severe bite wounds to his left leg. What began as a traumatic attack quickly turned into a medical nightmare.

His wounds did not heal properly and developed several serious infections. Despite making four separate emergency room visits, Thomas’s condition continued to worsen before he finally received the emergency treatment he desperately needed. Doctors discovered black, dead tissue surrounding the wound and signs of gangrene beginning to develop. He underwent painful procedures to remove the damaged tissue and required a wound vacuum (wound vac) to help save his leg and fight the infection.

Today, Thomas continues to suffer from severe nerve damage, chronic pain, limited mobility, and ongoing complications from the attack. He now attends treatment and physical therapy for pain management and strengthening while facing the heartbreaking reality that he may never walk the same again.

Even through the pain, fear, and uncertainty, Thomas keeps pushing forward for one reason — his 8-month-old son, Alarick.

Thomas’s greatest goal is simply to be the father his son deserves. He wants to be able to pick up his baby boy, play with him, provide for him, and continue raising him despite this devastating setback. Alarick is Thomas’s motivation every single day to keep fighting.

Unfortunately, this tragedy has destroyed the financial stability Thomas worked so hard to build as a single father. Because of his injuries and ongoing treatment, he was placed on a leave of absence without pay and still has not been able to return to work. Over the last two months, he has exhausted his savings just trying to survive and keep a roof over their heads.

Thomas is now facing:

• Over $8,000 in medical bills not covered by insurance

• Falling behind on rent and utilities

• Ongoing treatment and physical therapy expenses

• The daily costs of caring for his infant son, including food, diapers, clothing, and other essentials

No father deserves to live with the fear of being unable to provide for his child because of a disability caused by a violent attack. Thomas fought hard to be present in his son’s life, and now he is fighting just as hard to recover and stand tall again for Alarick.

Any donation, no matter how small, will directly help Thomas and his son stay afloat during this incredibly difficult chapter. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping them in your thoughts and prayers would mean more than words can express.

Please help Thomas get back on his feet so he can continue being the loving and dedicated father his amazing baby boy deserves.

Disabled Vet in need of help

Hello,

My name is Clint.  Im 45 years of age and currently disabled through the USAF.  I am in appeal with the VA after they denied my claim.  They are taking forever to reassess mycondition. I do not have a car I just lost my house and my wife just passed away.  As if this wasnt enough I just got ran over while riding my scooter hit from behind by a jeep doing 50 mph.  This broke my back and gave me some nasty road rash and contusions.  Im a tough sob cuz i keep getting up after every knock down I receieve.  But I am still just a human and this shit hurts im in agony every damn day.  I couldnt work before now I truly cannot work in the slightest.  My lawyer dropped my accident case because of how poor the police report was and Im trying to get another attorney but this isnt easy.   Meanwhile im stuck in my apartment I can barely walk my dog but after 10 steps I have to lean over because of the pain.  My bills are mounting up I dont make enough to cover my expenses which are very minimal and I need transportation severely so i can make my doctors appointments etc.  My scooter was snapped in half and well that’s all the wheels I had.  I say all this to illustrate just what a ridiculous time ive been having here on this lovely earth.  I still got my wits about me Im still hopeful but damn enough is enough already lol.  I need help buying a car just something cheap will do fine for me i dont want no car payment and I need help with my expenses.  Hell my dog is out of food and im trying my best to feed him anything Ive got but I dont have much of anything left.  Ive applied for all the services to aid us but i just keep getting denied.  I served this country and left my comfort to go clear accross the map giving myself to the cause but when it came time for me needing help its like the government couldn’t care less about me.  This is the first time ive ever asked for money or help of any kind.  I believe in God but it seems like my prayers have fallen on deaf ears.  Ive been patient Im tired of busting out crying at random feeling so alone now that my wife is no longer with me and to top it off I just put my baby girl down and she was my bestest friend in this whole wide world.  Damn I miss my family my home.  I could list so much more negativity but I think I got the point accross 😄.   I hope someone is in a giving mood and can bless me. I just need a little bump in the right direction unlike the jeep that hit me!  Whoever reads this entire post just know you are a Saint and I wish you a wonderful day.  Thanks for your time! rent

I really need help with my rent; I am only behind one month and I have only 5 months before my lease is up. My landlord wants me out because he is afraid that this may continue. I lost my job in October, and I have exhausted my savings. If I could just pay it up for the next 3 months it would help. I have been filling out applications but have not had any success. But if I have extra time I know I can find something.  I have 3 grandchildren that also live with me. I don’t want them to suffer being homeless. This is a really difficult time for me, as I’m the one who usually helps everyone out. but at this time, I can’t seem to find help. I prayed to God to show me where to go for help, and I found this page, I only have5 days left to vacate the premises. I really hope you can help me. my rent is 2200/monthly. If I can get enough to stay here It would greatly appreciate it. I appreciate you taking the time to listen. And if helped, I definitely will pay it forward.

Sincerely, Thank you.

Keeping My Head Above the Water

The Plea:

Hello – thank you for taking the time to look at this posting.

My name is Ashley and this Sept. 2025 my federally grant funded job ended due to the grant itself reaching the end of its cycle. My job was not written into the new grant and I decided to take the Unemployment offered to me as a chance to really consider my career and what I wanted, let alone, needed to do next. I tried doing online work for data entry, surveys, and tarot readings to supplement the little Unemployment I was getting along the way. Unfortunately as of the end of April 2026 not only did those benefits end but I realized the online gig work was not working.

I am currently in the process of submitting applications to local jobs, however, before any of those jobs get back to me, let alone interview, hire, and pay me – I will likely have to pay all the bills for this month and part of next. I have come to beggingmoney because my friends and family are nowhere well off enough to have extra money to help me through, but if I don’t stay on top of my bills then the debt I have spent the past 10 years trying to alleviate will only get worse.

If you have the money and the generosity to spare I humbly ask you send it my way so that I can at least have this month to get a job, let alone not spiral into more debt.

The Numbers:

  • Monthly Bills & Expenses = $3,500
    • (Includes Rent, Car, Car Insurance, Gas, Phone Bill, Debts, Cat Care, Groceries)
  • Total in Collections =$7,543
  • Total Credit Card Debt = $932
  • Total Loan Debt = $253
    • Total Debit Owed= $8,728

The Request:

2 months of Expenses ($7000)
OR
Total Debit Owed ($8,728)

[It feels too greedy to ask for my debit AND a month of expenses to be covered, but, if possible, that would be ($12,228)]

The Promise:

I come from generational poverty and spent my 20’s failing forward in my effort to grow out of that mindset and way of handling money. Being where I am now is rough but does not stop me from continuing to strive for a better financial mindset for myself. As such I have bi-weekly appointments with my credit union financial advisor to work on those things, though right now our biggest goal is cash flow before managing it. My goal is to eliminate my debt and start over fresh with the knowledge and self-control I didn’t have at 20 getting my first credit card.

I promise to those of you who help me that your kindness and money will not go to waste. I promise to not take it for granted and use this moment at ‘rock bottom’ to learn and never return to it again. I promise that once I am financially stable again I will return to beggingmoney to help out those I can, and pay it forward.

Help Retired couple being sued for $70K by the Fed Govt for a SBA COVID loan.

We are being sued for $70K by the Fed Govt for a SBA COVID loan.
Our business was in business & family travel agency for 21 years!
At the time, everybody was told to stay home and not leave your house or go outside unless necessary. This obviously stopped all travel plans, business, and family. We were a small company, so we relied on our commissions. COVID lasted for three years, officially stated by the government, and our agency never came back. No one was traveling for quite some time. We didn’t know what to do. It was very scary. Our personal funds were gone. All our business funds were gone. People were dying in the hospital intensive care units all over the world. We had no choice but to apply for assistance. At the time, we were just thankful we had some money to pay our rent and buy food. Now we’re being told this is an unforgivable loan, and we are responsible to pay the entire balance of $70K. We had no choice but to take the money, or we would’ve been thrown out in the streets and not eaten.
I don’t think anybody here would have taken that choice. We needed help. There’s no way we can pay this back. Please, please, please, please!!!
If you know anybody who has funds available that could assist me,
we would be forever grateful, obviously to that person or agency,
but we need help.
Please, if you can find it in your heart to help us, we have nowhere else to go. We have no children to help us!

needed for my daughter’s life-saving medical recovery and urgent bills

Urgent: $37,000 needed for my daughter’s life-saving medical recovery and urgent bills

Story Description (Descripción de la situación)

To all kind hearts,

am reaching out in a moment of extreme desperation. My young daughter has recently faced a severe and prolonged hospitalization that has turned our world upside down. Seeing her fight for her health has been the most painful experience a parent can endure, and unfortunately, her current situation remains very difficult and fragile.

This medical crisis hasn’t just affected her health; it has completely overwhelmed our family’s finances. Due to the months spent by her side in the hospital, we have fallen dangerously behind on all our essential commitments. We are currently facing over $37,000 in debt, which includes critical housing payments and transportation costs that we are at risk of losing.

We need these funds to cover:

Mounting medical bills not covered by insurance.

Housing arrears to prevent eviction while she recovers.

Transportation debt to ensure we can continue taking her to her ongoing specialist appointments.

Our priority is her health, but the weight of these debts makes it impossible to focus on her recovery. We are at a breaking point and fear losing the roof over our heads during this critical time.

Please, if you can find it in your heart to help us, any donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward stabilizing our home and ensuring my daughter gets the care she needs.

Helping Harley Quinn Fight Lymphoma

Dear Fellow Dog Lovers,
I am writing this with a heavy heart to share some difficult news about our beloved Rottweiler, Harley Quinn. Recently, Harley was diagnosed with lymphoma.
For those who know her, Harley Quinn is more than just a pet—she is our baby, our protector, and the soul of our home. Whether she’s greeting you with her signature “Rottie rumble” or leaning her big head against your knee for a scratch, she has a way of making everyone feel loved. She still has so much life and love to give, and we are not ready to say goodbye to our girl.
The Challenge We Face
The good news is that lymphoma in dogs is often treatable. Our vet has recommended the CHOP (Wisconsin-Madison) protocol. This involves nine weeks of chemotherapy induction followed by treatments spanning four months. This offers the best chance of putting her into remission and giving her more happy years by our side.
Harley is currently in her second week of chemo and is doing incredibly well. She hasn’t had any side effects so far and is acting like her old, energetic self. We are very optimistic that she will fight this for as long as she can.
How You Can Help
However, the cost of specialized oncology care is significant. Between treatments, scans, and supportive care, the estimated expenses will reach approximately $14,360.
We are doing everything in our power to fund her care; we are not going to give up on her. I am humbly asking for your help to give Harley Quinn the fighting chance she deserves. Any contribution, no matter the size, goes directly toward her medical bills and life-saving treatments.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support.
