I am seeking a financial hardship grant to alleviate my overwhelming debt and support my living situation. I currently have two personal loans totaling $20,000 and two credit cards with a combined balance of $12,000, which are nearing the end of their zero percent APR period. My plan is to use the grant funds to pay off this debt, allowing me to regain financial stability.
Additionally, I have currently separated from my fiancée of 14 years because she found someone else behind my back and I desperately need assistance with a deposit and first month’s rent for an apartment, as I am single and without roommates. I will need to furnish my apartment with bedroom furniture and kitchen accessories. Furniture for a living area and washer and dryer. Despite being employed full-time, my income is insufficient to cover living expenses in the high-cost area of Florida where my job requires me to reside. With deductions for Social Security, Medicare, health benefits, federal taxes, and HSA from my paycheck, I can barely meet my basic needs. I am struggling to afford groceries, often only able to shop once a month on a very tight budget. This grant would provide essential relief and help me establish a more stable living situation.
I am lost and heartbroken and I don’t know what to do right now but I do have faith that if I can get out of the deep hole of debt I am in and able to get back on my feet with a place to live and settled in that it would be life changing for me and let me be able to go to my job that I absolutely love and very passionate about without any more stress about my debt and living situation.
