Struggling Dad in Debt

Dear Friends,

I hope this message finds you well. I find myself in a difficult situation and am reaching out for support. Recently, I faced significant financial setbacks, including losses in cryptocurrency and falling victim to a scam. It’s been a challenging time, and I’m struggling to keep up with my bills.

The bills I am doing my best to pay:  personal loan 40,000 that I took out to pay credit cards off, personal loan that I took out to pay a fee to withdraw crypto that I didn’t get. Note lost 12,000 from April to Now this year (2026), another personal loan that I took out to help with furnace issue and more crypto, it is about 10,000.  I also have a truck that I bought in 2024, good truck but already have 95,000 miles on it so pretty negative with it, owe just about 50,000 yet.

I understand times are tough for everyone, but if you’re able to lend a helping hand, it would mean the world to me. Whether it’s a small donation or simply sharing my story, any support would be greatly appreciated. I have two boys as well that are 15 and 11 that I do my best for.  I am trying but struggle every day.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I’m grateful for any kindness you can share.

Warm regards,

Please Help Me Save My Apartment!

I’m a 45 yr old guy that is on disability. However, I managed to land a job painting which was supposed to be a couple week gig, that ended up lasting almost a year and a half. Last Oct I was laid off unexpectedly, but was eligible for some unemployment insurance. For anyone unfamiliar with unemployment insurance, it takes some time to be processed and accepted, and during that time I feel behind on all my bills and rent and was soon given an eviction notice which I fought in tribunal court and was given a payment schedule in Feb of this year being Ive been here over 4 years now without any previous issues. Part of that agreement was that I pay my rent on time and then by the 20th of each month I pay a further $600 until I was caught up, and if I were a dollar short or a day late, the rental agency could then go straight for an eviction. Well come June after ensuring I had more than enough in my account to cover my rent, which had gone up in June, my bank Simpili Financial decided to put through a smaller charge ahead of my rent, which made me less than 60 cents short n my rent causing an NSF fee, which I didn’t know anything about until I went to make the $600 payment 2 weeks later. By then the rental agency had filed for eviction without even calling me, and within 3 or 4 days of me realizing the bank’s mess up I was served with the eviction. Looking on my bank statement you can clearly see the agency taking out the money, which was all there, then some other smaller item or two listed the the rent payment coming back NSF and the banks $10 NSF fee. When I contacted the bank and asked them how that had happened, they agreed it was indeed their fault, and returned my $10 NSF fee, which I explained that doesn’t much help with them now making me effectively homeless, which they were nice enough to apologize for! So thinking I was totally screwed anyway I paid some bills that were behind and though Id stay here as long as possible. Then talking to my ex girlfriend, whom I’m still good friends with that happens to be a social worker in the community, was told she was pretty sure I could rebut the eviction which turned out to be true and I now have another hearing on Aug 11th, which I’m now going to be way short on the rent being I paid some bills down thinking I was already out of luck as far as my apartment goes. So I’m asking for help to raise $5000 to cover the past due rent, this new mess I find myself in, plus the NSF and filing fees Ill have to pay for regardless of if the judge agrees it wasn’t my fault and I’m allowed to stay. Homelessness has always been my greatest fear in life, and never before have I been in this situation, and it’s been unbelievably hard to even come to ask for help, but I’m really out of options. A lot more has happened since my lay off, but these are the main points. I’m more than happy to answer any questions to anyone that may want to make a donation but has a few questions first. Thanks for taking you time to read my story, may God bless you regardless of a donation , Daux.

Help me to rebuild my life

I was married for almost 20 years to an alcoholic and drug abuser. I have two beautiful children, and I stayed with him for them. I gave up my career and my life to provide them with a safe and stable home and one parent who would love them above anything else – I would do it again in a heartbeat, they are my world.
I finally got the strength to leave him 2 years ago. Since then I have been working two jobs whilst building up my own online business. My children are happy and at peace – one of them is starting university in September and the other is sitting her a-levels next year and predicted to do well. I am so proud of them both.
My husband has not helped at all since I left him. However, my jobs mean I can provide for my girls and I am proud of myself for that. We don’t have a lot but we have a lot of love and happiness.
I found out a few months after I left that my husband had taken out a credit card in my name. He stopped repaying it when I left and it went into default without me knowing. The balance at the time was £36,000. I have paid back almost £9000 over the past two years but this debt is hanging over me, I currently live on £11 a day as every spare penny – there is not a lot! – goes towards it. If anyone can help me I would be forever grateful and I thank you so much.

Mortgage Help

I have been successfully paying my mortgage since 2015.  Though I officially retired from fulltime education in 2020, I did work on a part-time basis from 2020 until 2024 to ensure I was able to manage monthly expenses. With two years left on my scheduled mortgage payments, my balance is about £8000.  Being no longer in part time work, I am finding it a monthly struggle to get over the two-year hurdle–my pension is not a full one and after all expenses, this is an ongoing stressful experience.  I would appreciate any help if its out there, even if it was just to clear half the amount(£4000), it would give me time to work out how I can tackle the remaining half even if it means renegotiating the time for final payment.  Please make contact using my Paypal address:  paypal.me/BIDMAS

My Car Got Totaled

On February 20th, I was involved in a serious car accident that left me with four broken ribs, a broken wrist, and a fractured C7 in my spine. I am currently unable to work for at least a few more months. My car was totaled, and as a result of the accident and its aftermath, I lost my apartment and am living with friends.  Most of my belongings have had to go into storage which is almost $200 per month.  I also had to rehome my precious emotional support cat, Charlie. (This has been the worst for me.)

The money i recieve through this fundraiser will buy me another car,  pay for taxes, Title, and tags and insurance and pay rental fees on my storage unit.  I am able to drive finally but not far distances yet. Thank you so much for any support you can give—it means more than words can say.

Need 10k after Wife’s sudden passing and loss of Job

Life can change in an instant, and mine did with the sudden and unexpected passing of my beloved wife. Losing my partner, best friend, and the person I planned my future with has left me heartbroken after 26 years. I am struggling to find my way forward. The emotional pain of this loss has been overwhelming, but it has also brought significant financial hardship that I never imagined facing.

Shortly after my wife’s passing, I also lost my corporate job. The combination of grieving such a devastating loss while suddenly being without income has made it incredibly difficult to keep up with everyday expenses. I am doing everything I can to get back on my feet, actively searching for employment and trying to rebuild my life one day at a time.

In addition to caring for myself through this difficult period, I am also responsible for my two beloved fur babies. They have been a tremendous source of comfort and unconditional love during the darkest days of my life. They are family to me, and I am committed to providing them with the food, veterinary care, and love they deserve. However, meeting their needs while struggling to cover my own basic living expenses like has become increasingly challenging.

I am reaching out with humility to ask for any assistance you may be able to provide. Whether it is financial support, help with groceries, pet supplies, or simply sharing my story with others, every act of kindness makes a meaningful difference. Your generosity would help ease the burden of rent, utilities, food, transportation, and the ongoing care of my two faithful companions while I continue searching for stable employment.

As difficult as this journey has been, I have not given up hope. I believe brighter days are ahead, and I am determined to work hard to regain my independence and stability. Until then, I am grateful for the compassion and support of those willing to help me through this incredibly painful chapter of my life.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering helping me during this time of unimaginable loss. Your kindness, prayers, encouragement, and support mean more than words can express and remind me that I am not facing this journey alone.

Working Full-Time While Saving for Reliable Transportation

My name is Nisha, and I am working toward purchasing a dependable used vehicle.

I currently work full-time earning $17.50 per hour. I have continued working hard to support myself, but saving for a reliable vehicle has been difficult. For a period of time, money was deducted from my paychecks because of an overpayment that had to be repaid. To stay current on my bills during that time, I worked overtime whenever it was available. More recently, my work schedule was reduced from 10-hour shifts to 8-hour shifts, making it even harder to build savings.

Reliable transportation would allow me to continue getting to work consistently while expanding my job search to better-paying opportunities that are difficult to reach without a vehicle.

I am not trying to purchase a luxury car. My goal is to buy a safe, dependable used vehicle that will help me become more financially stable and independent.

Any contribution, regardless of the amount, will go toward the purchase of the vehicle, registration, insurance, and any necessary repairs. Thank you for taking the time to read my request.

Assistance for Me and Mother who is in failing health please

I am the one single sibling in my family and am requesting assistance with cash to pay for medical bills for my mother, and essentials like rent, food and essentials for us both.  Currently laid off after my employer was purchased and have been unable to find stable work even after hundreds of job applications to many different fields.  Have been donating plasma while seeking state help as an assisted caregiver, but the process is taking forever, and I am unsure how many hours they will approve.

I have done the math and believe $2500 total would buy me enough time.

Thank you very much for your consideration, I know the current economy is very rough and take absolutely any help you might generously offer with sincere gratitude and appreciation.  Thank you again.  My PayPal link:

Help To Repair My Car That I Use For My Business

Hello and thank you for reading this. My name is Donald but everyone calls me Gus since its my middle name. I am now 76 years old but still in great health and enjoy my work. I had a very good mobile computer repair business for many years but one night i heard a crash. The front of my car was smashed and the other driver was not in sight. A hit and run for sure. I did not have full coverage insurance. I depended on this car to hold all my equipment that was also damaged from the jolt. I will have to replace it in order to work again. To repair the car and replace the damaged equipment will cost me $8000. I have almost $1500 saved but not nearly enough. I am now existing on my  Social Security which barely meets my needs and don’t want to dip into my savings unless there is no other way. I am using my late wife’s PayPal account. Again thank you for reading my help request.

A Mother’s Fight for Her Family’s Future

  • A Mother’s Appeal for Help
    Dear Generous supporters ,
I am a mother of two daughters, who always dreamed of building a better future for my family. Due to financial difficulties, I obtained a loan from a financial company to manage my situation, with the hope of repaying it through the income I planned to earn from developing my natural plant business.
Sadly, years of domestic abuse and the emotional trauma my daughters and I experienced prevented me from developing my business as planned. Although we are now living in a safer environment, we are still recovering through mental health treatment. My younger daughter is only 13 years old and is still studying. I am also caring for my unmarried brother, who is currently battling cancer.
I have also faced several health challenges over the years, including thyroid disease, a hernia operation, and a hysterectomy (surgical removal of my uterus).
Today, my greatest struggle is the unpaid loan. The loan is secured(mortgage)by the house and land where my daughters and I live—the only property we own. Due to my difficult circumstances, I have been unable to settle the loan arrears, and we are now at risk of losing our home. Without this home, my daughters and I will lose the only place we have for our safety and future.
Despite everything, I have not lost hope. I am ready to work hard and rebuild my life. We hope to raise enough funds not only to settle the overdue loan with arrears amount and save our home, but also to meet the essential needs my family is facing during this difficult time as we rebuild our future. I am determined to restart my natural plant business, become financially independent, and provide a better life for my daughters.
I humbly request the support of kind-hearted people who can help us overcome this difficult situation. Your support can give my family the chance to protect our home, rebuild our lives, and move forward with hope.
Every contribution or share of this appeal brings us one step closer to saving our home and rebuilding our lives. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers.
    With sincere gratitude,
    A Hopeful Mother

From Disabled Shut-In to Free | Six Years In, on the Final Stretch

Help Me Finish the Home I Built With My Own Two Hands — I’m So Close

I’m turning 67 this August, and I’m asking for your help to close the final gap on something I’ve been building for years, piece by piece, out of necessity and hope.

The day Covid shut down San Diego, I had been homebound for 14 years. I was a disabled shut-in, confined mostly to four walls, my body never telling me from one hour to the next how long I could sit, stand, walk, or bend before pain would take over. The rent had gone up, drastically, more than I could afford, and I lost the home I’d lived in for 20 years. I had to act fast. I chose to build a RV van and become a nomad, because a van meant I could take my home with me anywhere and I wouldn’t have to be homebound.

That decision saved me. Van life has been a godsend for my mental health in a way I couldn’t have predicted. I found a local van life community, genuine, grounded people and made real friends for the first time in years. I am not the same severely depressed isolated person that I was.

I’ve come so far already. I sold everything I owned, saved the stimulus money and saved from not having to pay rent (while at my sister’s), In 2022, I was able to buy a $10,000 high-top Chevy van, and with the left over money, I was able to have insulation and flooring installed. Homes on Wheels Alliance gifted me a solar system, a bed platform, and reflectix for the windows. San Diego Good Guys gifted me a bench with a table and a heater. A Craigslist woman donated a barely-used Tempurpedic mattress. Fast-forward to 2026, I just had one and a half walls installed and a kitchen cabinet with countertop. Every piece has brought this space closer to being a real livable and safe home.

But right now, my remaining wall and two doors are still bare. I don’t have a sink or a place to wash up. My windows don’t have proper covers, which means no real insulation against the cold. Every week that passes without these finished is another week I’m living in a half-built shell instead of a home and at 66, with a body that doesn’t wait for anyone, I don’t have years to spare to get this done slowly.

I need $2,700 right now to finish it:

  • The remaining walls and doors, covered in painted wood to match what’s already done
  • A small sink and cabinet, so I finally have somewhere to wash up and brush my teeth
  • Proper window covers, for insulation, and warmth

I’m also asking for $2,500 as an emergency repair fund.  This van isn’t just my home, it’s my only way to get anywhere. If it breaks down, I’m not inconvenienced, I’m stranded. That fund is the difference between an inconvenience and a crisis.

I’ve done everything I can on my own to get this far. What’s left isn’t luxury, it isn’t $100,000 van. It is the last stretch between where I am now and a home that’s actually finished, actually safe, actually mine. I’m asking you to help me close that gap now, while I still have the strength to finish what I started. Any donation, regardless of the amount will bring me one step closer to having a real home. Thank you for reading my story, and thank you, from the bottom of my heart, if you’re able to help.

Help Me Make My Dream of Retiring at 55 a Reality

If you’ve taken a moment to read this, thank you. Asking for help isn’t something that comes naturally to me, but I’ve learned that sometimes dreams are built one act of kindness at a time.

My life hasn’t followed the path I imagined.

Until I was 35 years old, I lived below the poverty line and relied on social assistance. I worked hard to change my circumstances, determined to build a better future. Over the years, I did just that. I helped build a successful siding company with my husband, and for the first time in my life, I believed retirement could someday become a reality.

Three years ago, after 15 years of marriage, I made the heartbreaking decision to leave and start over. Walking away meant leaving behind everything we had built together.

Then, two years ago, my ex-husband unexpectedly passed away. His estate was divided among our children, as it should have been, and I found myself beginning again with nothing but hope and determination.

Today, I own a home that I’m incredibly proud of, but the mortgage alone consumes nearly half of my monthly take-home pay. Like many people who have had to rebuild their lives later in life, I don’t have retirement savings waiting for me.

I turn 55 in just over two years, and for as long as I can remember, my dream has been to retire while I’m still young enough to experience the world.

Sadly, my body reminds me every day that time is precious. I struggle with significant knee and leg problems, and there are days when simply walking is difficult. I don’t know how many years I’ll have where travel is physically possible, and I don’t want to wait until it’s too late.

I’m not asking for money so I can stop working.

My plan is to earn my Travel Agent certification, launch my own online travel business, and continue working while I travel. I want to build a business that lets me earn an income from anywhere and remain independent for years to come.

If you’ve ever believed in second chances, I’d be incredibly grateful for your support. Whether it’s $5, $20, or simply sharing this page, every bit brings me one step closer to making this dream possible.

I’ve spent my life surviving.

Now, I’d love the chance to truly live.

Thank you for believing in me and for being part of this next chapter of my journey.

You can make your donation at www.paypal.me/TPTravel55

With love and gratitude,
