Medical assistant

At only 4 years old, I was shot during the war in South Sudan. The bullet left permanent damage in my thigh, with metal still inside my leg and two large scars that remain open and painful.

For many years, I have lived with physical pain, especially during cold weather, and emotional pain from the scars I carry. Growing up, I struggled with confidence and often felt ashamed of my body.

I dream of having surgery to remove the metal and repair the damage so I can live without pain and finally feel confident in my own skin.

I am asking for any help possible toward medical treatment. Your kindness could help me heal from wounds caused in childhood and give me a fresh start.

Thank you for reading and supporting me.

Medical bills adding up!

Hello internet. I’ve come across some hard times. I am currently injured via a work incident. My thumb got smashed between 2 hard spot while at work a couple of weeks ago. Workers Comp is covering it and helping, it’s just slow and takes time. I’m going to be out 4 more weeks. Last week, my wife who is an independent contractor got injured. She dislocated her knee, so she can’t walk currently. I think her recovery could be a a month at quickest maybe 2 months. And now lastly, my son age 8 has had a tooth injury outside playing ball with other kids. He’s got great teeth, but the ball knocked his tooth out of position. He’s gonna need a corrective procedure which won’t be cheap to fix his. So we are a household of injured people. If anyone could help ue out, it would mean the world to us. The bills are stacking up between rent, car payments, utilities and more. We are going to add child care/tutoring because my son is gonna miss some school. if anyone donates $3K, as soon as I get WC check, I will definitely pay that person back.

Nino Needs Your Help

Hi,

Since the cat was around 3 to 4 months old, we took him from the streets and adopted him. We called him Nino, and we can proudly say that he has lived his entire happy cat life (9 years now) with us, and he has become like a family member mainly to me and my dad.

A month ago when I arrived home, I found him in an unusual place and not wanting to eat, which is strange because he rarely doesn’t accept food of almost any kind (really, one time we found him eating a piece of a watermelon). I didn’t think too much about it; however, the next day I decided to take it to the vet, as he still didn’t want to eat or drink water.

At the veterinarian’s, they performed the relevant tests and found a parasite and that he has cat HIV, but what shocked me is that we castrated him at a very young age, and after all these years they never found that he was suffering from this. And now I realize it is a possibility not to be detected for a long time, but after it gets sick, which is what is happening now for the first time.

This was a month ago, and I’m seeing that his condition hasn’t improved that much after giving all the medicine prescribed by the veterinarian.

After getting the parasite, he is now very weak and has lost a lot of weight, which breaks my heart seeing him in this condition.

Now, in about two or three days I need to take him back to the veterinarian and most likely buy some more medicine for him to have an appetite and improve his defenses and also buy antibiotics.

The issue is that I’ve lost my job due to all the controversy in New Jersey (I work remotely as a freelancer). Although I find some work here and there, things are getting pretty tough; even my dad has started working once again at 70 years of age. As a freelancer, sometimes the gigs are not as frequent as I’d like them to be. This is why I’m taking some courses and learning new skills to improve my income capability and, hence, be more financially stable.

Among the things that I want is to get financially stable enough so my dad doesn’t have to work anymore and I can cover all the expenses, and the urgency for us at this moment is that we are able to pay all the bills, including our beloved Nino’s medical bills too.

This is like my last resource, and I’ll pray for some kindhearted people that can support us this time! I also will pray that God repay you tenfold!

Thank you!!

Pain relief from Crps

Hi, my name is Faith. I’m 23 and I’ve been living with CRPS since 2022—a condition that causes constant, severe pain.

In 2023, I finally found relief through a spinal cord stimulator, and it truly changed my life. But last month, I developed an infection and had to have it removed. Since then, my pain has come back full force, and I currently have little to no relief.

While I was in the hospital, ketamine treatments helped me manage the pain, but I don’t have access to that care anymore. Right now, I’m struggling and trying to find a way to manage my condition again.

If you’re able to donate or even just share my story, it would mean so much to me. Thank you for your support ❤️

hard times

I am writing this with a heavy heart and a very humble spirit to ask for your help during what has become the most difficult time of my life.
Recently, I suffered a serious accident after falling off a ladder. The impact shattered my heel, and I am now facing major surgery to have a metal plate and screws permanently placed in my foot. Because of the severity of the break, my doctors have ordered me to be strictly non-weight-bearing for at least 12 weeks.
This injury has put me in a devastating financial position. Because I was working for cash, I have no access to Worker’s Comp, disability, or any form of supplemental income while I recover. With no money coming in for the next three months, I am terrified of losing my house and being unable to keep the lights on or food on the table.
I am reaching out to raise $12,000 to cover my essential living expenses—mortgage, water, electricity, and groceries—while I am off my feet and unable to work.
Asking for this level of help is incredibly hard for me, but I am at a point where I cannot do this alone. I am beyond appreciative of anyone willing to stand by me through this. Even if you cannot donate, your prayers and well-wishes mean the world to me.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story and for your incredible kindness.
With deep gratitude,
Brian

Overcoming the Odds: A Journey for Health

I am reaching out to share a story of resilience and to ask for your support in a battle that began long before I even knew I was fighting. For years during my childhood, I lived with a brain tumor that went undiagnosed, a silent struggle that shaped my early life in ways I couldn’t understand at the time. Today, while that chapter of discovery is behind me, the physical and financial toll of that journey continues to follow me into adulthood.

To manage the long-term effects of this condition, I am required to consult with multiple specialists regularly. This includes specialized care to monitor my vision and manage my thyroid levels, both of which were significantly impacted by the tumor’s presence and its subsequent treatment. These appointments are not optional; they are the lifeline that allows me to maintain my health and quality of life.

However, the cost of these essential medications and the ongoing specialist care has become an overwhelming burden. I am seeking donations to help cover these medical expenses so that I can continue receiving the treatment I desperately need. Every contribution, no matter the size, directly supports my ability to access care in our community and stay on the path of recovery and stability.

Your generosity would not only help provide my medication but also offer me the peace of mind to focus on my health rather than the mounting costs. Thank you for standing with me and helping me continue to overcome the odds. Thanks for your help. My Cash App is

support for autistic therapy

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out today with a mix of vulnerability and hope. I was diagnosed as autistic 3 years ago, which hit me like a ton of bricks. While being neurodivergent brings unique perspectives and strengths to my life, navigating a world designed for neurotypical standards often comes with a heavy “sensory tax” and significant mental health challenges. To truly thrive, not just survive, I am seeking your help to fund specialised, neuro-affirming therapy.

For an autistic person, daily life can feel like constantly trying to run a complex software program on hardware that wasn’t built for it. From sensory overload and social exhaustion to the intense “masking” I do just to fit in, the burnout is real. Over time, this leads to a cycle of anxiety and depression that standard self-care simply cannot fix.

I’ve realized that I cannot do this alone. I need a therapist who doesn’t just see autism as a “condition” to be treated, but who understands the nuances of the autistic experience. This specific type of therapy focuses on:

 * Managing Burnout: Learning how to regulate my nervous system before I hit a breaking point.

 * Unmasking Safely: Identifying who I am underneath the layers of performance I’ve built up to stay safe in social settings.

 * Executive Functioning Support: Developing personalised strategies for a world that expects linear productivity.

 * Trauma Processing: Healing from the years of being misunderstood or told my natural way of being was “wrong.”

Unfortunately, specialised care is expensive. Many therapists who truly understand neurodivergence do not take standard insurance, or the out-of-pocket co-pays are simply beyond my current reach. Between the cost of sessions and the frequency required to make real progress, I am facing a financial wall that stands between me and my well-being.

How You Can Help

I am setting a goal of £2000 to cover 6 months of sessions with each session costing £100 I aim to be able to afford weekly or bi-weekly sessions. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a direct investment in my ability to live a more stable, joyful, and authentic life.

Thank you for seeing me, for supporting my journey, and for helping me build a life where I can finally feel at home in my own mind.

With gratitude,

Lily x

A Single Mom In Need of Help!

Hello,

I am a 46-year-old former Department of the Treasury (DOT) employee who was released from my position during the 2025 government shutdown. I have been unemployed since September 30, 2025, and I’m waiting to hear if a callback will be done. Without the pay and insurance from DOT, I am having so many problems with getting groceries, medications, and doctor visits paid for. My car was repossessed because I could no longer make the payment.

Before the shutdown, I was able to comfortably live on $3,000 a month, but now I just live on my social security income of $1,300 a month. With this income, I now must juggle rent, bills, groceries, and figure out which medicines I would be able to pay for, and pray I do not have an emergency because the emergency room’s copay is $200, which I cannot pay. I have asked my family, but they are unable to help. I thought I wouldn’t ever have to feel the same way as when I left my abusive ex-husband with my 3 young children and nothing else 10 years ago. I scraped and saved my money to get my family out of public housing, poverty, and debt. So, I’m desperately and shamelessly asking for financial help from completely gracious strangers; I know it’s a lot, but I am requesting silently for $8,000.

Unfortunately, the fear of an emergency has come to light, and I need to reassess my situation. Allow me to explain and try not to make it sound like a doctor’s office visit. Last month, I started spring cleaning my home, and I tried to flip my Queen-size mattress by myself. When I lifted it, there was a severe stabbing, stretching pain along my spine and across my lower back, and I was pretty sure I just pulled a muscle. However, I continued to use Tylenol and NSAIDs, ice, heat, and massages as well. The pain is getting worse, and I can actually rate the pain as 7/10, stabbing pain, made worse by movement and lying down. The pain radiates down my leg, down the middle of my back, and around to the sides of my back. I have never had back pain this bad before.

I could not see my primary doctor, so I was set up with another doctor on the team. He said it was a pulled muscle, gave me muscle relaxers, and exercises. But 4 days later, the home exercises I was given made the pain much worse. So, when I tried to get another appointment with this doctor, I was seen by a different doctor on the team. He ordered an X-ray of my spine. After my back was x-rayed, the doctor was very concerned, and I don’t mind sharing the radiologist’s findings from the back x-ray:

“Mild left thoracolumbar spinal curvature is seen.  A moderate compression fracture deformity is seen at T10, a new finding since the prior chest x-ray. Remaining vertebral body heights are maintained. Significant bilateral facet arthropathies noted L4-S1 with moderate anterolisthesis L4/L5.”

Now, all this pain makes sense, but I must have an MRI for the surgeon I’m being sent for consideration of decompression surgery, or Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion (ALIF), because it may be necessary to stabilize the spine and relieve the nerve pressure. However, paying the copays and doctor visits is just depleting the little money I have left for food, medications, and transportation. Please understand that I do have insurance from a Social Security disability claim and Medicare. However, it does not cover everything, and I have not met the deductible for the year, so every charge and fee is out of pocket.

I’ve always been the type of person who, if someone is sick, in need of help, or passes away, I would bring them food, assist with whatever and wherever they needed help. I hate being vulnerable like this and not being able to do what I can do normally. I mean, I cried when my friend came to my apartment and made my family dinner because I could not do it myself.

I understand this pain is probably temporary, but it is still daunting and very frustrating to try to think about getting better when solving my money problems and paying for doctors, x-rays, and MRIs are so incredibly in my face.

As I stated earlier, I’m so desperately and shamelessly asking for financial help; I know it’s a lot, but I am requesting silently $8,000. Again, I know it’s so much to ask for, but I cannot be so brazen as to ask for more. With your help, I believe I can handle expenses like these and live only on Social Security now. I just want to LIVE, not just survive. I want to find a nice car and experience peace without the fear of abuse, and happiness once again without the fear of being stolen from us. I want to feel safe in my own home and not wonder if I’ll be alive the next day to see my children.

Thank you, truly, to whoever has taken the time to not only read this, hopefully, but to help me escape all I’ve known and reach for a better tomorrow for my children and me.

If anyone can help with any monetary amount, it would be greatly appreciated. Please use PAYPAL for all donations: http://paypal.me/leoscourage

HELP US GET BACK TO OUR HOME AND OUR LIVES

Blessed Day!

My name is Carmen and my husband and I am currently in Arizona caring for my elderly parents. My husband and I have been here for months and had to leave our home in beautiful Belize. My Dad is 85 and has congenital heart failure, kidney disease, prostate cancer,  and recently fell and had hip surgery and is very limited in mobility. My mom is 80 and has Type 2 diabetes, A-Fib, and recently had a stroke that affected her short term memory. They desperately want to stay in their home together for the remainder of time they have left in this life. In order to be able to stay in their home, they need full time care, which my husband and I have been providing but desperately need a respite. We want to get back to our home and our life in Belize, but can not afford the high cost of in home care or an assisted living facility. My parents are unable to cook, clean, shower, or shop for themselves. We are asking for donations to raise enough money to cover 24 hour in home care for 6 months so that we can return home for awhile to attend to our house and see our family and friends. We very much need the respite. In home care runs about $480 a day (yes, I know, its insane!). That calculates to around $13,000 a month. We are able to cover $2000 a month, but are trying to raise funds for the remaining $11,000 a month. In order for us to cover the costs for 6 months we need to raise about  $66,000. We know trying to raise that amount of money is a long shot, but at this point, if we could even raise enough to cover 2-3 months that would be a god send. Anything you may be able to donate would be greatly appreciated, as small donations add up over time. Thank you!

£16,000 ($21,000) needed for surgery please read

I was a victim of severe domestic and Sexual abuse for 7 years I had been beaten and abused very badly which as led to many parts of my female body to be left disproportionate. I have spent 2 years undergoing therapy to heal mentally but I still have to see the physical scars left from the abuse and I have internal pain that can only be fixed by surgery . I want to regain my life that was cruelly taken from me and move on and try and find love and have a family but I can’t do this unless I can fix the exterior. This man took everything from me and I just want the chance to feel like a normal woman and live a normal life. I tried to take my own life just before Christmas but was saved by a stranger talking me down and I was told how this platform has helped people and may be able to help me. I need to raise the money to have internal surgery from the abuse and to have breast augmentation because one side is mutilated from the physical abuse. Please help me live the life I deserve. I just want a chance a life again. Thank you in advance for reading my story. I am in the uk and paypal me link is https://paypal.me/Sug61

Disabled, Cold and running out of hope

I am currently living on disability benefits after a severe mental breakdown around seven years ago that forced me to stop working and from which my health never fully recovered. Over time, my physical and mental health have steadily deteriorated, and I now live with multiple chronic conditions including endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS, IBS, arthritis, joint hypermobility syndrome, autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD and complex PTSD. Pain, exhaustion and overwhelm dominate my daily life. I tried to push myself back into work, but living in a large city as an autistic person caused my health to completely collapse again, and I experienced further trauma that I am still trying to process. I’ve been forced to leave everything behind and move back to the north of Scotland, where i am currently living in a bedroom in a friends house. The house is freezing cold, damp, has no central heating and no hot water. I live with constant pain from arthritis and gynecological conditions, and being cold every day makes it unbearable. I cannot take baths to relieve my pain, and I cannot rest properly. To make matters worse, the waiting lists for treatment for my conditions are over a year long, and in some cases several years. I am trapped in limbo, deteriorating while waiting, knowing that proper treatment exists but is completely out of reach financially. Having the ability to access even some private care could give me a quality of life I have never had — relief from pain, better mobility, and the chance to feel human again instead of just surviving. I am not working because my disabilities make it impossible right now, and every day feels like endurance rather than living. I am terrified that if nothing changes, I will continue to wither away mentally, physically and emotionally until I lose all hope. Any money I receive would go toward basic survival needs like food, heating, bills, petrol for my car, and occasionally staying somewhere warm just to bathe and ease my pain. Ultimately, it would help us save toward a deposit so we can escape this situation and have a safe, warm place of our own. If you are in a position to help, even in a small way, you would be helping me stay warm, fed and safe, while giving me a chance at treatment, dignity, and a future that feels worth holding on to.

Any help at all would mean more than I can put into words, and would give me a small chance to breathe and keep going.

Struggling 23y/o lost job w/ medical issues

Hello i’m not normally one to ask for help but i’m honestly desperate.

I have chronic back pain that affected my working abilities at my job. I made clear to my boss that due to my physical health I couldn’t work more than 6 days in a row. When scheduled 8 days I contacted my supervisor who in shorter words told me to figure it out. I reiterated that in my year with the company that I had informed them of this multiple times and was told I would be accommodated. Upon fighting it I was let go from my job, I am currently looking for a new job but that is difficult in our day and age. I am someone who likes to be busy and likes to work, i’m respectful at my job and work as hard as I possibly can. My job failing me has left me in a stressful financial situation, I am paying off medical bills from a prior procedure done on my throat, seeking medical help for my back, paying for medications I require, taking care of my fur babies, and needing to pay rent. I can only float for a little but genuinely need any help I can get to survive while trying to find a job. I also have a gofundme for my back I will link. God Bless you all and thank for for taking the time to even read this it means so so so much.

hole in heart, klinfelters syndrome,fasd=exhausted

Help a Family Fighting to Keep Their Medically Fragile Son Safe

We live in northern Canada, six hours from the nearest children’s hospital. Our son Skye was born with complex heart defects—a hole in his heart and constricted arteries—as well as Klinefelter syndrome. Without open heart surgery at five months old, he wouldn’t have survived.

I’m sharing our story because we’re in crisis, and I’ve run out of options.

My wife and I are both in recovery—I’m a recovering alcoholic, and we’ve both struggled with methamphetamine addiction. We’re fighting every day to stay clean and be the parents our six children need. Our kids range from 2 to 17 years old, and we’re a blended, mixed-race family doing our best in difficult circumstances.

My wife was born with FASD and requires assistance caring for our children. Our 17-year-old stepdaughter struggles with self-harm and cuts when she’s stressed. Our 9-year-old son has speech and learning impairments. And Skye, now a hyperactive toddler with a fragile heart, needs regular cardiology appointments we can no longer afford to get to.

Before Skye was born, I worked full time and supported my family. Since then, his monthly medical appointments have made steady employment nearly impossible. I’ve tried working night shifts to balance family responsibilities, going without sleep on work days. Exhaustion leads to poor performance, and understanding employers who once accommodated me have understandably moved on.

My low income put me behind on child support for my oldest child, and MEP (Maintenance Enforcement Program) has locked me out of government registries and taken my driver’s license. This has created a devastating cycle: without registry access, I can’t apply for Skye’s treaty status. Without his treaty status, we lost his Non-Insured Health Benefits when he turned two. And without transportation, getting him to appointments six hours away has become impossible.

We’ve already missed two cardiology appointments we couldn’t afford to get to. Skye is hyperactive, making the six-hour drive challenging even in a personal vehicle. Taking a bus isn’t an option—the stress and his heart condition make it unthinkable.

I’m currently retraining myself in digital skills so I can eventually work from home. With financial help, I could use the 20-30 hours a week I’d spend at night jobs to study instead, building a sustainable future for my family.

I’ve always been too proud to ask for help, but my children need me to put that pride aside. If you have even a dollar to spare, I would be deeply grateful. But please, only if it doesn’t take away from your own family’s needs.

I believe in paying it forward. Any help we receive now is help my family will provide to someone else when we’re able.

Please donate to paypal.me/shawnhinson141

I am forever humbled and grateful for any help.

Thank you for reading our story and considering helping us.
