Hi my name is Dwayne Smith and I am one of the Directors for Colossal Trucking Limited, which is a logistics trucking company in the beautiful island of Jamaica. We started our company back in 2019 during the pandemic which really showed us the importance of logistics/trucking to the economy for every nation.
With that said we see the potential of our business as we aim to become one of the elite logistics company on our island. With our years of experience in both the logistics and customers service field, we are positioned to be a serious contender amongst the best in the industry. We recently adopted a niche business model of acquiring/partnering with regular truck owner who are without contracts or have mechanical challenges, to form an alliance of fleet management where we take over their units and manage full operations on their behalf.
This has allowed us to tap into various section of the industry due to the variety of units, but this also comes with its own challenges and set back especially for overhead expenses.
With the vision and mission we have for our business, it is steering us in the direction that demands grow in other areas that we first didn’t think we would be a part of.
When we first started out, we were only in the field of hauling goods using small box trucks, but now we have been given the opportunity to expand by hauling containers with goods with Semi-trailer heads. This is a new frontier for the business which will required additional units that’s specific to the task.
The problem we have now is the banks aren’t willing to see or believe in our dreams even after generating 5x revenue from 2024-2025. We aren’t a company with a traditional name so it’s very difficult to acquire a local loan to help to achieve our objectives and goals.
We are reaching out to anyone here who can help or invest in our vision/mission in becoming the #1 logistics company on our island without compromising our core value for both customer/employee satisfaction. Our aim now is to aquire a loan, investment or donation of $25,000usd which would put us in the position to aquire specific units to help our business grow into the giant that we know it can grow to (Colossal Trucking).
