hard times

I am writing this with a heavy heart and a very humble spirit to ask for your help during what has become the most difficult time of my life.

Recently, I suffered a serious accident after falling off a ladder. The impact shattered my heel, and I am now facing major surgery to have a metal plate and screws permanently placed in my foot. Because of the severity of the break, my doctors have ordered me to be strictly non-weight-bearing for at least 12 weeks.

This injury has put me in a devastating financial position. Because I was working for cash, I have no access to Worker’s Comp, disability, or any form of supplemental income while I recover. With no money coming in for the next three months, I am terrified of losing my house and being unable to keep the lights on or food on the table.

I am reaching out to raise $12,000 to cover my essential living expenses—mortgage, water, electricity, and groceries—while I am off my feet and unable to work.

Asking for this level of help is incredibly hard for me, but I am at a point where I cannot do this alone. I am beyond appreciative of anyone willing to stand by me through this. Even if you cannot donate, your prayers and well-wishes mean the world to me.
