Life is but a Lifelong Dream

Hello, thank you for deciding to read further. I am a Junior in Collage, I have plans to get my PhD. I am now Fifty years young and dreamed of going to school my entire life. I have a 4.0 GPA and am on the Dean and the Precedence list at Capella University. I am interested in psychology and AI. I will be first generation to graduate collage. Currently I live in Texas, I used to drive a Semi and di so during Covid, but due to an injury sustained in 2021 I am unable to work. This is why too I am attending school to repurpose myself and get an education to a new career. However, I have applied for unemployment, Disability, food stamps, loans, credit cards and nothing has worked. I was told that I had gotten unemployment before, that led to finding out someone had stollen my Identity. Disability I am still waiting an answer. I can’t get food stamps because I am in collage. My second husband passed and left me with debt and bad credit, which I have managed to bring up to a 580 from a 476. All I want is to get my degree. I have taken Staford loans out almost to the max. I can’t get a credit card, and my scholarship is running out. I have applied for loans that don’t even have to start being paid back until after I graduate and stay in school, but I need a cosigner, I don’t have anyone to do that.

I am doing my best, I have to have internet, and a decent laptop, which I do. I live with an elderly woman with cancer and the start of dementia and help with wound care and getting her up and ready for Dr, appointments and treatments.  I have neither rotator cuff, so I too am limited. But it is a good place to stay, for room and board. She is turning 90 and I have no other options. If you would like proof of GPA, enrollment. I owe for this last semester, and then I have two years of classes. \

It took me 50 years to finally get to go after my dream, and I found out that I am good at it. I have one B and straight A’s going into my junior year of college.

Thank you for any and all.   #AnythinghelpsGodBless*

Child wants to do cheerleading

My 12 year old daughter is a very talented cheerleader. She is very dedicated to her team and always putting in extra time to learn new skills. This cheerleading team is year round and requires travel to different states. I am working really hard to try to keep her on this team as it is her only healthy outlet. She recently has been diagnosed with some learning disabilities and is undergoing more assessments and evaluations in the upcoming weeks and months. I truly appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this and thank those from the bottom of my heart who decide to donate. It will all go directly to her cheerleading account to take financial stress off of myself to try to make ends meet while also keeping her in this program. “You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.””

(I got Scammed) Student in dire need of help: Facing eviction.

Hello dear,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you today from a place of desperation and hope, caught in a situation I never imagined I’d be in. As an international student studying in a foreign country, life has thrown a curve ball that I’m finding hard to dodge.

You see, I recently fell victim to a scam that left me without my tuition money. It’s a significant sum of 3487 euros, and losing it has put my education and my very living situation at risk.

Living in a foreign land, my circle of friends is sadly very small, and I feel incredibly alone as I face this crisis.

The hardest part of this entire ordeal is that I can’t even confide in my parents. They’ve poured their blood, sweat, and tears into making my dream of studying abroad a reality. To tell them I’ve lost the money they worked so hard for, and to ask for more when I know they have nothing left to give, is something I just can’t bring myself to do, I feel sorry, apologetic and ashamed to face them.

I know we all have our battles, and it’s tough to always be there for others when you are fighting your own. But this is a plea from the heart. I’m not just fighting for my education and a roof over my head, but for my future as well.

Every bit of help, no matter how small, can make a world of difference to me right now. I’m not looking for a handout, but rather a helping hand to pull me out of this pit I’ve found myself in.

If you can, please consider helping me. If a financial contribution isn’t feasible, even sharing my story with others who might be able to help would mean the world to me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Any form of help you can extend to me during these challenging times will be a ray of hope, and I promise you, it will make a profound impact on my life.

Thank you.

A PLEA TO COMPLETE MY TUITION FEE AND UPKEEP

Dear Considerate Donor,

Good evening.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to ask for assistance in completing my tuition fee and also upkeep for me and my children while I study. I came into the United Kingdom in August 2023 to study for my postgraduate in hope that when I return to my country, I will find a better job that will enable me to be financial stable enough to take care of my children and aged parents.

Not only do I want to be financially stable, but I also want to make a global impact in my selected field of study which I have so much passion for. My journey to keep acquiring knowledge has been very interesting and rewarding though tough. Every bit of the way has been struggles, paying fees, registering for courses and certification, all while still trying to survive has really taken a toll on me all these years.

I have never imagined this is something I would be doing, but as I sit to write this note, I know now, that I am left with no choice at all. Though desperate, I am hopeful that something positive will come out of this plea.

I was so happy when I gained admission to come and study in the UK at the Henley Business School studying International Human Resource Management, I thought to myself “This is yet another opportunity for me to increase my knowledge and add value to the world” but that happiness was almost immediately replaced with a deep sense of sadness thinking about how to raise funds. Thankfully, good and generous relatives helped from the little they had, and I was able to pay almost half of the tuition plus flight ticket and accommodation for a short while.

Since I arrived, I have looked for work with no luck, and right now it is really getting tight. The balance of my tuition is due, and upkeep completely depleted. It is so hard focusing as I spend all my time looking for jobs everywhere just to sustain us (me and the children).

I am reaching out here for help. Help to complete my tuition fees and help for upkeep to sustain myself and the children for the duration of my study. My children are looking up to me, my aged parents as well, I do not want to fail them.

So, I am humbly begging:

  1. Help my complete the balance of my tuition fee – 11, ooo GBP.
  2. Assist with financial upkeep for basics like groceries, rent and bills pending when I get work.

I know there are a lot of people in my situation or even worse that are in need, but any assistance I receive here will change my life and the lives of those that are looking up to me (my children, aged parents and the world at large).

I really appreciate you reading my note.

TUITION FEES

Hello,
Greetings to you all around the world.

Thank you so much for taking out time from your tight schedule to read and listen to me. My name is Franklin, a licensed Registered Nurse from Nigeria, Currently in Bournemouth University, England doing my Masters program in Public Health. I’m in dire need of your help with paying my remaining tuition fees. I have paid a totally sum of £4,800.00 towards the payment of my tuition fee with a balance of £10,450. My total tuition fee is £15,250.00

The school have given me a deadline of NOVEMBER 13th, 2023 to remit my tuition fees or stand the chance of been withdrawn from my program and send me back to my home country. I’m the first Child of my parents in a family of 5. I lost my dear and ever loving Father to the cold hands of death on the 14th July 2023, he was buried on the 24th of August, 2023.

This has impacted me negatively as am unable to pay my remaining tuition since my only sponsor has died and this leaves me with struggling in taking care of my aged mother and my siblings back home in Nigeria from the little a get in the bakery were i work as a student to support myself . I work as a volunteer student rep in the  university in helping to educate the student on the dangers in  smoking and substance abuse which is on the increase in the Uk.

It has been challenging and frustrating trying to balance my studies with work. Managing time between classes, group assignments and my part-time work schedule takes its toll. I do my best to be awake in classes and participate fully no matter how tired I may feel.

I believe in education and its power to transform my future and also help my family but thoughts of dropping out have begun to plague my mind as a result of the finances, I have not been able to get a loan or grant; I find myself holding back from crying most nights, I barely eat because I am trying to save as much money for my tuition, apparently I lost of weight because of this and had to get some student counselling to help me cope with the mental pressure.

I am here sincerely asking because I don’t know where else to go, I don’t want to drop out of school, I am passionate about my studies and am hopeful for my future after graduation. At the best of times, I see myself working with a charity/NGO focused on Primary healthcare as a NURSE and educationist in future. Please kindly consider helping me so I can complete my studies. The deadline for payment is the 13th of November, 2023 and I would be most grateful for any financial assistance you can give please.

I am writing with a glimmer of hope for your response, and I thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

Kind regards,

Franklin.

Fund my children education

Dear reader,

I hope and pray that all is well, and you find yourself strong and healthy. And that the blessing of the lord is with you, not just financially but spiritually. I am grateful that you are taking the time to read my story. Since covid-19 my children’s education has crippled. My oldest is 10 and my middle child is 8 years old. Recently, I received the news that my children are at a kindergarten level. I was sad and felt powerless because I don’t have the money to send them off to a good school. The public school that they were attending were lying about their growth. I did not find out the severity till I moved them to a charter school. That is when the teachers at this new school provided me with their testing results. I failed to look deeper in their last school. And now I would like to put them into an afternoon program that will help give them that one on one teaching. I have been in contact with an advocate to help me figure out the school system and what resources are available to my children. And resources are limited, and I have looked at different programs with decent prices. Which most of these after-school programs charge almost $300 a month per child. I am stuck cause I am going to college and not working currently due to my schedule. I handle the kids, household, and my school. I made the decision to go back to school so I can obtain an excellent job in the future for my family. My husband injured his back 3 years ago and so he is working at an exceptionally low paying job, only making 2k a month. He makes just enough to pay the bills. My husband is wonderful, strong, and responsible. He is a great provider, but with his back injury it caused him to lose his job and settle down for a minimum wage job. We can’t afford to give my kids that help that they need. My goal is to put my kids into an after-school program for at least 6 months and get them the help that they need to catch up on their education. It would take a total to $3,600 to support the plan sending them to an after-school program for 6 months. It will be a blessing if anyone out there finds it in their heart to fund my kids education. This act of kindness I will remember forever. If you can help this is my paypal.me/Loveinlife572 and my cashapp: $Paola259

Thank you so much for your support.

ONE SICK CHILD AND THE OTHER CAN’T FINISH COURSE DUE TO FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES

Dear All,

I am a single mother of two. My daughter was diagnosed with INTERSTITIAL LUNG DISEASE (ILD) and PULMONARY HEART DISEASE last year after being treated for ASTHMA for 5 years, which she never had. The day she got admitted into hospital is when they told us that she had perforated lungs and also had cysts on both lungs. That very night one of her lungs collapsed and they had to put tubes in to drain the air that she had. She ended up staying in hospital for 3 months and had to have a lung operation. She now uses oxygen at home all the time. Since all this happened, I haven’t been able to work full time. I also have a son who is training to be a pilot. He had to stop his course abruptly because I cannot afford to pay his fees anymore. I am working part time because I am looking after my daughter. Going for hospital appointments is a challenge because we have to use taxis because my daughter can’t walk far as she gets extremely breathless. I cannot afford to buy a car with the wages that I’m on. I am therefore asking for help to pay for my son’s course and any help to look after my daughter. I’ve always worked full time and looked after my children single handedly.  I just don’t know who to turn to for this.

Thank you all for taking time to read my story.

TUITION FEES FOR AN ORPHAN

Hi. My name is Utanu and I am the aunt of the prospect recipient of your donations. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where I welcomed my nephew, Haguy Bakafwa. as an international student. So, I am coming to you to humbly beg money on behalf of my nephew Haguy, a brilliant and lovely young from the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa, now attending the engineering school at the Polytechnique Montreal of the University of Montreal in Canada.  I am writing you to raise funds and help a less fortunate, yet immensely promising young soul achieve his dreams of becoming an Electric Engineer. Haguy is so intelligent and dedicated to his studies that, as a first-year student, he is already part of the student’s Technical Society with the mission to build an electric car and compete internationally. This dream will become possible only with the help of kind-hearted souls like you. Your donation will be greatly appreciated, and I thank you in advance for your support. I asked Haguy to write you and talk to you directly. Here is his letter:

“Hello, everyone,

I’m Haguy, and I’m a 19-year-old international student currently living in Toronto, Canada. I’m pursuing my dream of studying Electrical Engineering as a first-year student at the Polytechnic School of the University of Montreal/Université de Montréal, where my journey began on August 28, 2023. You can find proof of my admission attached.

My goal is to become an Electrical Engineer and make a positive impact by providing clean and renewable energy solutions for our planet. But, to achieve this dream, I need financial support because education is expensive.

I want to share a bit about my background. I’m an orphan; I lost my father in 2019. My mother and my aunt have been my pillars of support, doing their best to take care of me and my three siblings. Thanks to the kindness of someone from my church who believed in me, I received a student visa to Canada. My mother and aunt worked hard to pay for this opportunity. I am forever grateful to that person.

I arrived in Toronto on January 19, 2023, as an international student from the Democratic Republic of Congo. My aunt is helping me with tuition and living expenses. I initially planned to study Electrical Engineering at Memorial University of Newfoundland after completing an English language program. However, I discovered that the University of Montreal offers the program in French, which is my first language, so I applied and was accepted.

I’ve been in class for a week, but I’m already feeling the financial strain. My aunt has been incredibly supportive, purchasing an expensive laptop for my engineering studies, paying three months of rent in Montreal, and contributing $5,000 toward my $14,500 tuition fee for this fall. The total cost of tuition for a year is $29,000. My aunt also covered my books and provided me with living expenses for the first three months while I looked for a part-time job.

However, her resources are stretched to the limit. She is also dealing with serious health issues and medical bills for my mother, who was in a car accident on the day I left for Canada. My aunt is a strong single mother, but she can’t take on additional work to support me further. Without her help, I won’t be able to pursue my dream.

So, I’m turning to all of you for help. I’ve started a GoFundMe campaign to raise the funds needed to cover my tuition and make my dreams a reality. Here’s a breakdown of what I need:

  • $29,000 per year for tuition as an international student (proof in my admission letter).
  • $9,500 to cover the remaining balance of my fall semester tuition by November 2023.

I’ll also need support to cover the $24,000 yearly tuition for the coming years while searching for scholarships and working part-time.

To give you a bit more insight into my background, I lost my father when I was 14. He was a successful Civil Engineer. After his passing, my paternal family tried to take everything from us, but my aunt stood up for us. Despite limited means, she’s been a rock for our family, supporting us in various ways.

My mother worked tirelessly to provide for us until her life took a painful turn in a car accident on January 19, 2023. She is currently hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, and my aunt is covering her medical bills. The financial strain has taken a toll on my aunt’s health as well.

I’m asking for your help to make my dream come true. Even a small contribution can make a big difference in my life. I promise to work hard and give back to society through my education in Electrical Engineering, contributing to the development of sustainable energy solutions and better lives for those in need. Proof of my admissions to the engineering school and attendances can be provide if required.

I humbly thank you for your support.

Warmly, Haguy.”

Pls Help Me,

Hello,

Thank you so very much for taking the time to read and listen to me. I am in dire need of your help with paying my remaining tuition fees of £3,710. I am 2nd of 5 siblings in my family. My parents are wonderful and loving people, who have done their very best to love and raise us, however, both of them are unable to work at the moment; Mum takes care of Dad at home, as he is being managed for type 2 diabetes and hypertension for the past 6 years. Both my parents have sacrificed so much to pay a part of my school fees and I am so very grateful for their sacrifice. I have also been able to save £1,290 from my part-time jobs which I have paid as an earlier instalment for tuition. I work as a support administrator/customer rep, as well as a volunteer student rep at the university.

The deadline for payment is the 1st of November, and I would be most grateful for any financial assistance you can give please.

I am writing with a glimmer of hope for your response, and I thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart.

Empowering the Future of Finance: Support a Dedicated Lecturer and Researcher

In the symphony of life, we often find ourselves at a crossroads, where dreams and aspirations await, illuminated by the flickering light of hope. We each carry within us the desire to achieve something greater, to reach for the stars, and to make our mark upon this world. However, the path to our dreams can be fraught with challenges, sometimes obscured by the shadows of adversity.

For me, an ambitious woman with a fierce determination, this journey is one filled with ambition, a quest to become a lecturer and researcher in the field of finance. My goal is to delve into the world of academia, unraveling the mysteries of finance, and contributing to the realm of knowledge through research and teaching.

Yet, as I embark on this path, I find myself at a juncture where financial difficulties threaten to dim the light of my dreams. The cost of pursuing a Ph.D. is substantial, with tuition fees of £19,000 per year, and the costs of living. It has become increasingly challenging to focus on my studies and achieve the academic excellence I aspire to. I am driven by a deep passion for finance, but I cannot overcome these hurdles alone.

Your contribution, no matter the amount, has the potential to be my guiding star, leading me toward the realization of my dream of becoming a lecturer and researcher in finance. Here’s how your help can make a profound difference:

  1. Tuition Assistance: Your support can alleviate the financial burden of tuition fees, allowing me to focus on my studies and research, and to achieve my academic goals.
  2. Living Expenses: Your assistance with living expenses means I can concentrate on my academic journey without the worry of basic necessities.

Your contribution is not just an investment in my education; it is an investment in the future of finance, in the knowledge I will share with my students, and in the research that will expand the boundaries of our understanding. By helping me, you are fostering the development of future finance professionals who will shape the world of finance.

I am immensely grateful for your concern and assistance. With your support, I, as an ambitious woman, am determined to bring my vision to life, becoming a lecturer and researcher who contributes to the evolution of finance.

Thank you for believing in the power of education and research, and for becoming the guiding light on my path to achieving my dream.

With profound gratitude,

Sarah

Student in need of money for school

I’m studying to be a teacher because I have a strong desire to work with children and shape their destinies. However, I am at a crossroads, dealing with financial difficulties that threaten to derail my route to accomplishing my cherished desire. I’m telling you my tale in the hopes that you’ll be the guiding light I’m looking for.

For me, teaching is more than a job; it’s a calling, a mission. Every day, I am motivated by the conviction that education can mold young minds, stimulate creativity, and pave the way for a brighter future for our planet. My academic career, however, has been hampered by financial difficulties.

Tuition, textbooks, living expenses, and other education-related costs have grown prohibitively expensive, making it increasingly impossible for me to focus on my studies and attain the grades required for success. I refuse to give up on my aspirations, but I can’t achieve it on my own.

Your contribution, regardless of the amount, might be my saving grace. Here’s how your help can make a difference:

Tuition Assistance: Your gift can help fund my tuition expenses, allowing me to concentrate on gaining the skills necessary to be an amazing teacher.

Teaching materials: Access to crucial teaching tools may dramatically improve my academic performance and, eventually, my capacity to build a dynamic and engaging classroom.

Living Expenses: With your help, I can focus on my academics rather than worrying about the essential living expenses that come with being a student.

Transportation: Having reliable transportation allows me to attend classes and participate in hands-on teaching experiences, both of which are critical for my growth as an educator.

Professional Development:

Your generosity will allow me to pay for seminars, certificates, and courses that will help me become a qualified and passionate teacher.

Your contribution is not just an investment in my education; it is also an investment in the next generation of students I will have the privilege of teaching. By assisting me, you are assisting in the development of young minds, the opening of doors of opportunity, and the realization of my potential as a passionate educator.

Your gift will not be forgotten, and I am fully dedicated to paying it forward in the future, enhancing the lives of numerous children.

I am appreciative for your concern and assistance. With your assistance, I am determined to realize my ambition of being an inspirational teacher who will have a significant influence on the lives of the future generation.

Thank you for believing in the power of education and for being the guiding light on my path to shaping young minds.

With immense gratitude,

Sam

Emergency – my tuition fees are due and I have just lost my job.

I am just beginning the third and final year of my PhD. Over the past two years I have paid my fees by doing shift work, working long hours whilst also researching and writing my PhD thesis. All my efforts to obtain grants and scholarships have been unsuccessful, despite being put forward for scholarships on two separate occasions by my university department.

Yesterday, without notice and without any reason being given, I was laid-off (which legally they are able to do, even though I have been with them for three years, as I am classed as a casual worker.) I am now unable to fund my studies, with only a few days to go until my first payment is due. I have no idea what to do, as I do not now have enough time to find a new job before the payment is due and I do not have a credit card, nor can I apply for a loan as I am now unemployed.

I have been able to earn £1,300 pounds, but my fees are £4, 500 so I need £3,000 to make up the difference. I would be incredibly grateful to anyone who can help in any way.
