My name is Tichania and I have been accepted to the Bioinformatics master’s at Northeastern University. I am a Trinidadian student studying in the United States. Need Help Changing Careers

Hello, my name is Dee and I work for a well-known Bank. This bank have started laying off hundreds of workers due to them not being located in hub locations. I am not located in a hub location so me being laid off is inevitable.  I currently work in HR and have for the past 9 years or so. I have applied to many HR jobs but there is so much competition for these jobs, it’s pretty much slim to none that I’m able to find employment.  Which leads me to why I’m asking for money. Donation of Sixty Five Thousand USD for Tuition and Boarding

Hello Team,

I am single mom of one child and a teacher who currently earns about 1,161.58 USD per month. I am a trained Agriculturist. whose intention has always been to own and operate my commercial poultry farm. I also want to produce organic fertiliser and natural gas from chicken manure.

This is something I have been trying for so many years to do, from I was 28 years old and now I am 49. However, due to my many setbacks, especially being a single mom, being out of a job for several years and then having to do two major surgeries, I always find myself in serious financial problems.

My financial situation has caused me and my son, much embarrassment and very low standard of living. My son missed out on school many times. He never did grade two and only one term for grade three, as I could not afford to, so I home schooled him. We had to keep moving from one rent house to the next, with minimal furnishing.

At one point we only had one bed, which I gave to my son while I slept on a mat on the floor. My son objected to this, however, I insisted that I would be ok. Unfortunately, this was around the time I was approaching my second surgery. I was in great pain and laying on the floor made it worse.

I tried hiding my discomfort from my son, who was 14 but he could tell something was really wrong. One day I noticed he locked himself in his room. I could hear banging sounds coming from his room. When I asked, he insisted he was just working on a project.

Eventually when he opened the door, he brought the upper part of his mattress, with most of the inner padding, to my room and told me to sleep on it. He even shared some of the padding with his grandmother, who also slept on a mat on the floor. I realised my baby had cut his mattress in two to share with us. His hands, which he tried to hide, were bloody from being bruised by the springs of the mattress.

We survive from hand to mouth and from loan to loan. My son is now 18 years old and has done very well in his exams, earning 10 subjects. He is to attend Pre-University September 2023, where he will start his journey for engineering. He wants to be a Robotics Architectural Engineer and study in Japan in 2024.

My son is the main reason I now beg for help on this platform. I keep asking for help from people I know, especially family, and cannot get any help. I know his tuition will cost me a lot, especially to study in Japan. The application for the university needs to be submitted by October 2023. My salary will not allow me to acquire the tuition as I have three loans repaying.

It would break my heart to prevent him from pursuing his dream to study engineering abroad. I do not want to hold him back anymore as he is a brilliant young man. He needs an opportunity to go further.

I kindly ask of you for assistance for my son’s studies or assistance to raise funds to purchase my own farm. I would be most grateful for even a loan. If I get assistance to establish my farm, this definitely would be the platform I donate when my busines becomes a success.

Student loan debts and I’m out of a job

I’ve been having financial hardship in college. I can’t take any more student loans out and I’ve been only able to find a cashier job. When I do work, I only make $11,000. Please help me. I need help for providing education for my son and my daughter.

I am a father of two who hardly working for years in harsh conditions for achieving his only goal of his life, which is to provide a good education and bright future for his kids.

 

WHAT I DID FOR MY GOAL?

Every dream/goal has its own requirements.

For example;

There are many requirements to experience the joy of riding a car.

OWNING A CAR.

•Requires money. Depends on what kind of car you want to ride.

• Having a driver’s license. In order to achieve these two main goals, it is necessary to fulfill a whole book of obligations, and it may take a maximum of 2 months for a rich person and 3-5 years for a poor person to achieve these mandatory conditions.

 

My goal is to fulfill the vow I made to myself when I was 10 years old, in tears and despair. This is my oath: “My kids won’t have to live the nightmare life I’ve had”

 

I hope you can imagine what horrendous circumstances a ten-year-old boy went through to make such a strange vow to the future and commit himself to it for 34 years from that day.

 

My goal required being a wealthy individual. To be a wealthy individual, to have a high-paying job, to have a high-paying job required a good academic education and a lot of money for academic education. Requirements aren’t always met, but that’s not a reason to give up. Different formulas can be found to achieve the goal and these formulas are shaped according to the social status of the individual. These formulas take a much longer process than the time it takes to fulfill the actual requirements.

That’s why I’ve been working with faith and determination for 34 years for the simple case of providing my children with an education in the UK.

You may ask why the United Kingdom? The answer is; the education system in Turkey unfortunately does not have the capacity to provide my children with an education so that they will be independent and to become individuals who will provide great services to humanity and nature.

I did climb the highest level of my profession of industrial welding and fabrication by working in and out of Turkey in the oil and gas projects, war zones, swamps, middle of deserts, middle of siberia.

I have learned the english language by self-learning method. Because I had no opportunity to go to school or course.

WHY DO I NEED HELP EXACTLY?

Now, my daughter zeynep is eighteen years old and she completed her vocational high school education as a graphic designer and photographic arts in Turkey.

I have found a job in Northern Ireland as a skilled worker and I have sponsored for my family to come to the UK in order to provide them education in the United Kingdom.

I do search everywhere in order to enroll my daughter to the university but the UK government cannot provide education to my daughter and son due to the restriction on my skilled worker visa. “NO PUBLIC FUNDS” says in my BRP card.

WHAT DO I NEED?

While I was able to come so close to this result that I had aimed for when I was a small child, the fact that I could not achieve this for my children due to lack of money (education is 22-25000 pounds for each children) depresses me.

All my life I have not given up and have worked selflessly to overcome all the obstacles that come my way, but I cannot overcome this obstacle because I need 50,000 pounds to provide an education for my daughter and son.

My Son Deniz,

He completed secondary school 9th class in Turkey and he has to continue his tenth class here in Northern Ireland but I couldn’t find a school for him to accept him to their school due to there us no place in the schools in my area. So, I have to register him to paid school until I find a government school if any.

If I can start the first year of education for both of them with your help, I think I can provide the remaining years by working harder.

Financial assistance

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am pleased to submit a request for financial assistance to pursue my Master’s degree in Business Administration – Entrepreneurship and SME Management at Laval University.
I’m currently taking preventive leave from work because of my pregnancy, and in addition to my tuition fees, I also must pay rent, groceries, and other necessary expenses. Unfortunately, my family can’t support me financially any more than they already do. During my previous studies in industrial engineering, I benefited from a multi-disciplinary curriculum enabling me to combine technical skills with business acumen. For my graduation project, I worked on the development of a new sorghum-based product, and this, combined with other volunteer experiences on organic farms, enabled me to discover the opportunities that agriculture can create to lift vulnerable populations out of poverty, food insecurity and wealth creation. That’s how I developed a passion for agri-food.
I’ve had experience working in a social agro-enterprise in Haiti, and I’ve worked at the heart of a project to produce peanut butter for export. As my next experience, I aspire to be part of the operations management of an agri-food plant, and for that I need not only the necessary technical know-how, but also management, marketing, and public relations skills. Doing an MBA-Entrepreneurship and SME Management is a real opportunity to strengthen my skills and acquire the knowledge I need to progress in my field. The program offered by Université Laval is structured in such a way as to enable me to develop my intrinsic abilities, but also to familiarize myself with management tools for solving concrete problems. Please give me a chance to upgrade my education and be a better person in life

To all compassionate souls, l hope with your donation l’ll be able to go to College and finally experience a breakthrough.

I understand that there are many touching stories on this platform you may come across, but l hope my story is one of them and believe that anyone reading will be able to donate something to finally set me free from the life I’m leaving of despair. I’m Phil Musagwiza aged 23. I passed with flying colors in High School, but l never progressed to anything because of excruciating financial barriers. For the past 2 years, l experienced nothing good but one calamity and pitfall after another. My parents provided money to help me apply for a scholarship since it seems to be the only source of light at the end of the tunnel at that time. We approached agencies whom we thought to have the knowledge and a history of helping financially deprived students get a scholarship, but all the agencies we consulted only exploited us. In short, we lost more than $2000 in total throughout those years we tried to apply for a fully funded scholarship but it led to nothing but pitfalls and it cultivated division in the family and suicidal thoughts for me. I hope those who duped us will be held accountable. Please help me break the financial barrier by supporting me with $4500 to fund my education at last.
