We are grandparents who have been raising three grandchildren for the past ten years. Two years ago I fell ill and needed advanced life support to breathe. I was diagnosed with severe anemia; having a hemoglobin level of 5.4. Low normal is 12. I needed to spend three days in the ICU and have continued to struggle to keep my hemoglobin at a high enough level to not need a blood transfusion. My car got totaled and I dont have insurance support

Before crossing the street I looked both right and left and the right side had cleared i then waited for the last car on the left to drive pass. The car a red GMC truck, had switched lanes I saw it approach slowly It then uses turn signals to indicate a right hand turn. I waited Until the car performed its turn. It did. I then looked to the right side of the road to confirm it was still clear. I then let off the breaks and drive forward there is a median in the road that i have to get to make my complete turn. Before completely leaving the plaza and being on the road, When I looked to my left to I very quickly had to Hit my brakes( the driver told me that they wasn’t their intended turn and was intead wanted to go the near gas station which would have been the next turn) I was Caught off guard by a By the truck that gave plenty of indication that they would be making a right hand turn into the plaza. The truck smashed into me Causing massive damage to the front of my car. The truck driver onto a curb i pull my car in front of his less than 12 yards from the initial crash we both exit our vehicles, but the driver of the truck leaves and proceed to walk away.he also leaves his car on and running. I did not follow. I instead call the cops and my insurance. My insurance did not answer. The guy comes back with a bag( i don’t know whats in the bag) about 10-20 minutes later, on his return i only got his Id picture, not his insurance. He fumbled around his car Looking for it, but did not give it. But I got his number and I took a picture of his Plates, And then he left. I Waited for an 45 or so minutes for the police to Arrive. They didn’t. I then headed home, which in my Opinion was a not good idea. I probably should have stayed until police arrived. But I this my first and I didn’t realize at the time it would work out alot better if I did.

HERES WHATS BROKE:
1)There’s a short in the electrical system that at various times affects the,passenger side turn signal,headlight,taillight,melts the plastic off the tops of assorted fuses, and occasionally gives me small shocks.
2) when I put the new fuel pump in the gas gauge stopped working.(major pain with an old truck as I have 0 idea how many miles to gallon I get)
3) axle? Bearings? More? Broken on front drivers side,resulting in wheel riding at a tilted angle,resulting in2 so far,working on third of my set of brand new tires I saved months for thinking I’d be good for a bit to be ruined,and I’ve used my spare and don’t have another one.so I not only have to fix the problem, I have to replace the tires too( but if I get it fixed before the third tire goes ill have one of them left to use for a spare)(the cheapest I could find 4 tires was 1200.00)
4) the driveline for the 4wd is off,but this one can be put off,I don’t have to have 4wd.
5) the rear window needs to be replaced,but this too is optional,its been out at least 4 yrs,i just retape the plexiglass once a year
6)for the first two years I had the truck it would overheat multiple times a day,especially in summer,sometimes severely( the motor was literally red-hot at least 3 times,bilingual common)
After I replaced the radiator it’s been fine, but it’s been a year and I haven’t been able to afford a basic tuneup( filters plugs points fluids ,etc) the oil in it is super thin and black, and it’s a miracle,surely,that it runs at all and the seals don’t leak it for sure needs a major tuneup
7)there’s only one windshield wiper hooked up, the other is on the dash inside. And finally
8) the condenser for the air conditioning just quit last week,could be the short, or actually be out – no way to know,but this I can live without too if I have to

Hello, I am writing asking for help coming up with payments on buying a home. I’ve tried every lender/ loan officer and have been approved for $175k on Paddio. I live in Vermont as a 23 year old with a salary of $19k a year before taxes.
Why am I looking for a home to buy/ find an investment or fixer upper? I don’t have any family support or a place to stay and help get back on my feet. Vermont is very unlivable for born-residents nowadays and i would love to leave and move out of state for a better opportunity. But in order to work out of state, I need to live out of state beforehand. And to live out of state, I need to have money and stable income before moving. My plan is to buy a place in NY state to fix up and rent out until I pay off the mortgage and then can start to plan getting out of VT state so I can afford my car payments again. I need to start moving forward and making something happen in my life and not be stuck in poverty and depression.
