Hello.

 

I was recently discharged from the military for mental health problems and I wanted to share a bit of why and now my decaying financial status because of it.

 

I came back to homeport a few months ago and started living on the barracks in emergency because I tried to end my own life on board after constant hazing from my co-workers.

I was treated very poorly, was insulted, was forced to do hard labor even when I was injured and was called useless and dumb even when I was doing my best and working on my PQS, the trauma I’ve been having after has become so bad I’ve not been able to sleep even with my meds prescribed by my psychologist.

 

Yes, I may history of abuse growing up by my own mother, but I was genuinely getting better from it until people who I am supposed to trust brought me down. I requested a report made against the co-workers who had done it, but nothing much came out of it, I don’t even know if they did something to them yet, because they’re still on deployment.

 

I was diagnosed with PTSD from it and I haven’t recieved any separation pay yet, I am going back to my country of origin and my dad needs his refigiator fixed and the A/C since we live in an island and resources are limited.

 

I’m still worried about my future and I’m still worried if with this condition I would be able to work again, being in the military was my dream and I did my best, took time in bootcamp and school to do everything right, but I can’t believe things needed to end soon, if anyone can please help me at least financially, I appreciate it, I have a dad I need to take care and not even the government is helping me right now.

I’m also in high debt, that is also another worry for me.

Trying to recover from some hiccups and get back to my Purpose Protecting Families

My name is Gema. I am looking for some assistance in getting out of a hole and into business so I can provide for myself and family.

I was in a family business that closed their doors suddenly. Shortly after I got hit with a $42,000 invoice for equipment rental for the company I was with. Apparently, I had signed as a guarantor not knowing what that was. By the time my old boss took this to a lawyer, I was already facing judgement. My old boss is my grandbabies paternal grandfather so I can’t make this a big deal and let it disrupt my ability to see my babies. My only option is to file bankruptcy. I have not wanted to go back to a 9-5 as they stated they will go after my income. Additionally, I have been helping my dad who is 75 and struggling with his health. A 9-5 doesn’t allow flexibility to do that.

I got my Life Insurance license in 2019 and am trying to get back to it. I stepped out of the field after my mom passed Jan 2021. Out of all the polices I wrote, 2 cancelled, and I now have two debts I need to pay to be able to get back into life insurance. I cannot file bankruptcy until I get back into life insurance because the agencies and carriers ask if I have filed bankruptcy in the last 7 years, so I want to get on board with life insurance before filing. I owe John Hancock $801 and American Amicable $955. I have been able to discuss a payment plan and pay half of each of these ($875) to lift the Vector they have me on so I can get back to business. The other issue is that I am behind on rent for this month and with late fees, I am at $3,000. If I can get assistance with one or the other, I would be grateful, both would be a true blessing. I can then hit the ground running without the stress of losing my apartment. Being a single mother of 4 created some credit issues so a loan is not an option. Plus, I don’t have steady income as I am freelancing building websites and optimizing Google Business accounts. Life Insurance is where my heart lies. I want to live a life of purpose in my business and in my church. I just need to put all of this behind me.

Sisters can”t even get baby pictures

Hello, I hope your day has been a good one today.

My mother died in 2020 Its been five years of waiting on my brother to settel my Mothers house . My sisater and I live in different states. Our brother lives in the same state as my mother did. He is now telling My sister and I that my mother left him everything.So he has taken all of my mothers pospossessions out of her house. He said we could not even have our baby pictures. I hired an lawyer and he said he had a document stating that she did leave him the house. We have yet to see one single piece of paper work saying that. But we haven”t got anything at all. My brother owned his own orinting company for about 7 years. We do not beleive him We think he forged the paper work , because the house still remains empty.He would have already sold the house if this was true. there was no will. I”m 62 years old and my sister is 67. she is disabled and i have retired. so all we get is our monthy income .We can’t afford to fly back and forth on what we make to get this worked out once and for all. It is so unfair that he has taken over everything. My mother was a very faithful woman she would not have done that.We are gonna need around 20.000 dollars just to get us back and forth from az. and stlouis mo.and we are trying our best to get a probono lawyer but haven”t heard anything as of yet. But we are so hurt over this we have to try and get him for bad things if thats what he chooses. But if you could possibly help us we would be so greatful .And we beleive in karma. An Honors Medical Student: Help Me Reach The Finish Line to Be a Doctor

This is definitely a long shot, but if you or someone you love have been helped by a doctor and are open to sponsoring my med school tuition (whether small or big amounts; one-time or periodic) I’d be incredibly grateful.

Somehow, I’ve made it to one of the top med schools in the country after years of grinding it out with very low odds (parents never finished high school, no English, tough childhood). Despite that, I’ve honored every class so far, started winning awards, and continue to give this path everything I have, because I can’t see myself doing anything else.

I genuinely love every bit of medical school so far, and can only wonder what amazing potential I could reach if I didn’t have to worry about food and rent, skyrocketing tuition and recent restriction on loans and could avail costly opportunities like conferences and resources. I have no complaints from life though, I am extremely grateful and blessed to have reached here so far.

I have no income and no time for a job with school + research, and with the recent student loan changes, I am haunted by the thought of being unable to finish the one thing I have invested all of my life in. Need My Medication

Hello. I am am am an autistic woman that suffers from neuropathy, epilepsy and panic attacks. I am on three different medications that I need to take everyday. I do not have health insurance, and cannot qualify for medicaid in my state. I pay out of pocket at the pharmacy and I’m already completely out of one. I do have a job, and I usually can afford my medications every month, but this month I can’t. I was out sick with a bad ear infection, so lost out on a paycheck and had to pay bills first. As it is, I am already a couple of dollars in overdraft.

My medication are expensive and come out to about $160 a month. That is what I asking for. I don’t know if this will work, me asking here, if it is a site where people that ask actually do get help or not, but I am trying. I am desperate. Just need a little help

  • Hi, my name is Joe. I don’t really have a long story or anything tragic. I lost my job 2 months ago and as a result got behind on rent. I used my savings to make sure my daughters were feed and I was able to put gas in my car to get to interviews. Please Help Me Avoid Homelessness

My name is Antonio, and I’m 53 years old, living in South Florida. I never thought I would be in this position, but I am facing the hardest moment of my life.

This past April, after 20 years with the same company, I was unexpectedly laid off. Since then, I’ve applied for countless jobs, gone to interviews, and done everything I can to get back to work, but I still haven’t been able to find steady employment. My savings are almost completely gone, and now I’m just days away from losing my home.

My August rent is $2,800, and it’s due on August 1st. I only have until August 3rd to pay it before my landlord begins the eviction process. While I’ve been able to work out payment extensions with my utility companies, there’s no way to do the same with my landlord. If I can’t pay, I could be evicted and without a place to live next month.

I have never asked for financial help before in my life. I’ve always been independent and worked hard to provide for myself. But right now, I’m out of options and time. I am currently enrolled in a state-approved security guard training course, and I’ll finish it next week. As soon as I pass the exam and get licensed, I can start working immediately here in Florida. I plan to work as many hours as I can, including overtime, to get caught up and make sure this never happens again.

But right now, I just need help to make it through this month and keep my apartment. I have no other income, no savings left, and no one I can turn to for help. This is the first and, I hope, the last time I ever have to ask strangers for help.

Single father in desperate need of financial assistance to avoid a discrimination pool losing home.

Back in March 2023, I came home from work to a gut punch I never saw coming. My wife of five years—my partner for nearly fifteen years—was gone. She left our marriage, leaving me and our two beautiful daughters behind. Struggling Family

Left abuse with three children

I just left my family home after over 10 years of marriage with only 4 bags packed and my three children. My husband has been verbally abusive for years but recently escalated to physically abusing my child. I immediately ran and need help. I do work but I was not prepared to have to rebuild our entire lives. I am staying with family but preparing for a nasty divorce and custody fight. I was married for 27 years, I always treated her like a queen. She always controlled the money, she wanted to move to another state. I did not.

I truly did what I could to help her start out. I gave her a car and the title worth  $104,000, I still owe lots of money on this car.  I told her to take anything she wanted from the house. 6 of my friends helped her load her uhaul.  Days before she left she told me; “We needed to be separated.”  After she left, I found out, she sued me for post separation support, alimony and to pay her legal fees.

She knew I was getting ready to retire. I couldn’t afford two households.

She left me with all the bills all the debt and only $7,000 in the bank. Im a 100% disabled Marine Vet, 22 years in the Corps and amother 18 in the Gov.
