I will keep thi short and sweet sinc my left hand and fingers are still no working. On May12th I Woke up in th morning to having a stroke. I hank God every morning for giving me the strength to get to my phone and call 911.the clot in my brain had to be removed.a few days later, Iwas moved to the inpatient rehab hospital where a team of of amazing therapists went to work on me. I had to learn to speak and use the left side of my body again.I am know in day rehab and still working very hard to get use of my left handback. I just need a break

I am a recovering addict. Like recently recovered. Single mother of a 5 year old with mild ADHD. I have tried to the right things, stay away from toxic people. But it just so happend the lady I was working for(I am an ihss provider) is very toxic. Now I tried to just keep in mind that she’s older, I know she takes out whatever negativity she is going through on me. But I could only take so much, and a lot things she said to me are mean and wrong about but yet she believes she’s in the right. So I left and never looked back. But now I am stressing, thinking about relapsing, my car is breaking down. I’m already fighting depression daily. I am constantly looking for work, it’s only been a week since I left. But I have bills to pay, I actually haven’t even been able to register my car because I bought it almost a year ago knowing it was behind a couple of years but I decided to fix the minor things on it first. But it’s going out for a catalytic converter replacement on a high mileage vehicle..forget about it. I’m at stand still not knowing the best option. I would like a new car I don’t have to pay a lot to get it registered and I don’t need to put $ into..yet. A child that constantly eats and grows lol and I feel bad because we can’t go do anything fun during the summer because well..you know. I just don’t want to back into that lifestyle..but the stress and depression gave it a phone call now it keeps calling back. The fight is real, the struggle is real and Im just trying to catch a break. I just want to be normal, whatever normal is. Anything is much appreciated, there’s a lot of giving back to the community I would love to do and watching this guy called MDMotivator on Instagram I wish I could do stuff like that but I don’t have $ like that just to spring on people. I made thanksgiving dinners last year at home and passed them out to the homeless, but I’m not one to take pictures or record anything. Anyways, thank you to whoever helps..if anyone helps. Hi, I’m Krista Allen, and I’m asking for help during an unexpected crisis.

 

I’m a 62-year-old mother of five grown children and grandmother to thirteen. I’ve been married for 34 years and have worked hard all my life—as a waitress for many years, and for the last 28 years as a nurse.

 

Like many moms, I spent decades working long hours—often 60 to 80 hours a week—to make sure my family had what they needed. In recent years, I’ve been working night shift in nursing, which pays more but took a toll on my health. I suffered a heart attack, and my cardiologist warned me that continuing nights could cost me my life.

 

So in May of this year, when chest pain returned, I made the difficult but necessary choice to leave the night shift job I loved and find a day shift position to preserve my health.

 

That transition meant being without work for over 6 weeks, and now I’m waiting another 3 weeks for my first full paycheck from my new job. The bills haven’t stopped—and now I’m facing the possibility of losing everything.

Caring for Two Boys – Trying to Pay Off Debt and Rebuild

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. After attending 12 funerals in one year, I’ve been emotionally and financially overwhelmed. On top of that, I’m now caring for two boys while their father—a close friend of mine—is deployed. We’re living in his home for now, but I’ll need to move out when he returns in December.

The truth is, I’ve lost everything. I’ve had to resort to this because I’m just trying to hold on. I’m in about $15,000 of credit card debt—accumulated during the darkest times—and it’s keeping me from moving forward. I’ve applied to over 125 jobs, and I continue to look every single day. I’ve also applied to one other website for help because I want to be transparent about what I’m doing.

I’ve always been the one to give, never to ask. But now, I’m the one in need. This is not about giving up—it’s about fighting to rebuild and provide stability for myself and the two boys who now depend on me.

Hi I am 55 years old my name is Tonya. I lost my Father in 2016 a day after my birthday to pancreatic cancer, in 2023 I was injured at work with a torn rotator cuff I was down about 7 months and had surgery on December 6, 2023, 3 mo later went back to work now there are things I can’t do with my arm can’t wear any straps to tight and I can’t lift things very heavy, it was my dominant arm so to learn how to do things with the other arm was difficult, I also lost my step father in 2025. I have been buying land from a friend so not in my name, also bought a building to turn into a house I bought most everything with my settlement with workman’s comp. Wanted to go solar but need more money to do so, also would like to pay everything off so it is mine. Would like to have my own business for self defense gadgets, bracelets to young people, so many are kidnapped and bad things happen to them all over the world not just here in the United States. I know somethings can’t be helped and some won’t be saved but if I can help some of them I want to and make a little money doing it. Just need help with the down-payment for a used van

I worked all my life until April 2021. I got covid and was hospitalized right away. Because I couldn’t feel my legs. Covid hit everyone differently for me, it was the nerve running from my hips to my toes. As I was in isolation, I thought I had gone to sleep.  But when I work up a month later. Then doctor told me I was in a coma. I couldn’t move my legs or my arms. Stood in the hospital for three more weeks then I was moved to a rehab facility.  Where I was for thirteen months.  Then finally I was able to go home and do Aquatherapy.  Now I am feeling better and want to go to work. I’ve lost my way and need help. I’ve always been a very happy person with a smile on my face. I haven’t had an easy life, but I’ve always been strong and determined enough to make it through. This is the first time that I’m questioning myself.
 I’m almost sixty and have never asked for help. I’ve always been able to take care of myself and help others. Now I need help and as much as I hate to admit it, I don’t mean much to people, even family. I don’t want to feel sorry for myself, but I am disappointed in myself for the fact that I can’t work to provide myself a place to live. I guess I never really worried about being homeless. Hello my name is Nicole T. I am a mother of 2, caregiver to our 93 year old paternal matriarch(unpaid), and helper to many around.

I have hit a wall trying to find resources to get a better vehicle to transport my only sibling, who is battling stage 4 metastatic ovarian cancer, my children to school and appointments, and my grandmother to her appointments, amongst many other elders and families I assist out of kindness. My vehicle breaks down every month( no exaggeration). It is truly a lemon, not really worthy of trade in value.

I also need to get my family out of the apartment complex we are in, it has been an interesting 10 year stay to say the least. As my young children get older, the small 2 bedroom gets smaller. I have a girl(16) and a boy(9), and my son needs his own room. Currently my grandmother and my daughter occupy the bedrooms, and I sleep in the living room. My son goes between living room or daughters room. Plus the neighborhood is on a main street where people speed and spin circles(donuts) in the middle of our intersection. I fear someone is going to go through our wall as they have done to many homes in this city. I have searched for other places in our county, but many of the affordable homes having long waiting lists, and others are too far from my children’s schools. With your help, I can get a jump start to a more comfortable future for my babies, and peace of mind for theirs and my grandmothers’ safety, as well as my own.

Help quality of life

Hello I was attacked at work back in October my job refused to help or pay me compensation or any type of workers comp. I was throwing out the trash and was attacked i deeply damaged both of my ankles and my right knee had my head slammed into the dumpster multiple times, besides a concussion and constant pain and confusion I get headaches daily in the process of my face being slammed the dumpster knocked out a lot of my front teeth from the dumpster opening slide door. I don’t know what to do my family friend told me about this and I hope and pray from the bottom of my heart for help in some way to start healing or at least being able to have a better chance having teeth not only for the obvious to eat but to be able to show my face in public.
