Hello, my name is Sandra, and I’m reaching out in a time of great personal difficulty—asking for support to rebuild and regain my independence, safety, and dignity.
Over the last few years, I’ve endured financial and emotional abuse at the hands of both my ex-husband and now my younger brother, whom I currently live with due to having nowhere else to go. Despite surviving an extremely difficult divorce—where I was left with almost nothing after 30 years of marriage—I continue to struggle daily. The legal system failed me, and I am now trying to fight back, but I need help covering the legal fees to do so. I have evidence of serious financial misconduct, forgery, and manipulation, but without proper representation, I cannot pursue justice.
On top of the legal challenges, I’m living in a deeply toxic and unsafe environment where I am denied basic human needs like hot water, food, and even transportation. I’m often left alone without access to clean laundry, a working shower, or consistent electricity, while my brother lives comfortably in the same house. I feel trapped and degraded every day.
My vehicle is currently not drivable and desperately needs repairs so I can regain the freedom to care for myself and my two ferrets, Brutus and Cindy Lou, who are both emotional support animals and currently in need of medical attention. They are my lifeline—my family—and their well-being depends entirely on me.
I’m not asking for charity—I’m asking for a fighting chance. I’ve spent my life helping others, from raising a family to working as an EMT. I never imagined I’d be in this position. But today, I’m humbling myself and asking anyone who can to help me escape this situation, fix my vehicle, care for my pets, and secure the legal help I need to finally stand up for myself.
