New Dad Needs Help

I’m reaching out because I’m in a really tough spot. My wife and I just had our first child a few months ago, and while this should be the happiest time of our lives, I’m buried under about $9,800 of debt. I work full-time, but living paycheck to paycheck has left us with no breathing room, and I’m scared it’s going to tear our family apart.

I’m not asking for luxuries — just a chance to get back on my feet and keep a stable home for my wife and baby. Anything you can give, no matter the amount, would make a huge difference for us.

A Helping Hand: Overcoming Debt and Securing a Home

Hello everyone,

I’m a 23-year-old man reaching out for help during a particularly challenging time in my life. Growing up as the youngest of five in a family struggling with poverty, I’ve known scarcity my entire life. After graduating high school in 2020, I enrolled in college, hoping for a brighter future. But instead, I was thrust into a world of financial and physical instability.

In 2021, I bought my first car from my brother using COVID relief funds, which gave me a glimmer of hope. However, that hope quickly faded as I faced mounting challenges. Without any financial support from my family, I relied on a strict work-study program at my college, earning just $6 an hour for 10 hours a week—barely enough to cover my bills. I found myself racking up credit card debt just to stay afloat, constantly worrying about how I would pay my expenses.

To make ends meet, I spent my Saturdays door dashing for hours. When my insurance lapsed due to low income, I faced even more hardships. One day, while trying to drive back home to Alabama from my college in Kentucky, I got pulled over, adding to my stress.

I chose this college because of its promise of free tuition, but that decision led to unexpected struggles. Just before my senior year in 2023, my car broke down. I used my summer savings to fix it, only for the engine to blow out shortly after. At that point, I was relieved to be free of that burden.

After graduating in 2024, I returned home to stay in my dad’s basement, juggling two jobs—one full-time and one part-time—hoping to save for a new car. I applied for a $2,000 personal loan to help with that goal, but life threw more obstacles my way. Medical issues arose, and my dad asked for money to fix his older car, even though I rarely drove it. The loan ended up being a financial drain, adding to my stress.

In February 2025, I made the decision to move in with my girlfriend of three years in Kentucky, with plans to save for an apartment. However, shortly after we moved in, a heated argument between her mother led to us being kicked out. To make matters worse, my girlfriend was in a car accident that totaled her vehicle. We were left seeking shelter with friends, and for months, I relied on others for rides to work.

Despite the challenges, we managed to secure financing for a first-time auto loan. However, since the accident, I’ve taken on the responsibility of supporting both of us. I’m paying off my credit card debt, her credit card, her car loan, our phone bills, and covering groceries and necessities for her dog.

I’m grateful to have found a decent-paying job to keep us afloat, but I’m exhausted. I feel trapped in a cycle of living paycheck to paycheck, still stuck in a basement, struggling to save for an apartment. I need to pay off my loans to free up money for savings, and I’m desperate for my girlfriend to find a job that fits both our schedules.

If you’ve read this far, I sincerely ask for your help. I want to break free from this exhausting cycle of survival. I truly need assistance to pay off my debt, secure a down payment for an apartment, and anything extra will go toward my car loan. Your support would mean the world to me. Thank you.

From Burnout to Blooming

I finally got the job I’ve been working toward for years…now I just need to get there.

Hi, I’ve been offered a job that feels like the exact right step for me. It’s a chance to do work that matters, use my skills fully, and be in an environment where people are valued.

This move isn’t just about a new address. It’s about leaving behind a workplace that’s drained my energy and stepping into a future where I can actually thrive. I’ve worked hard for this opportunity, and it’s here, but there’s one hurdle left: moving.

Relocating isn’t cheap, and I don’t have a financial cushion. Between travel, a housing deposit, and setting up a safe, functional space, the costs add up quickly. I’ve budgeted carefully, but I’m still coming up short.

Here’s where your help would go:

Travel expenses to get me and my essentials to my new city

Housing deposit & initial rent for a secure landing

Basic setup costs for utilities and whatever extras needed

Every single dollar will go directly toward making this move possible. Your help means I can start this job strong, focused, and without the stress of wondering where I’ll sleep or how I’ll get there.

This truly is the moment I’ve been working toward for years. It’s my chance to trade burnout for purpose and stability. A chance to make a difference with the ability to keep my integrity in tact.

I haven’t made the best decisions in my life and I know my story isn’t unique. But, this feels like I can wake up somewhere new and bring back my vitality.

I honestly thought I would be an NPC wandering around with no purpose. Just a another cog wondering if depression and anxiety is my authentic state of being. I am really hoping this works out for me.

If you can donate, thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you can’t, sharing my story is just as meaningful. Both make a difference.

I am asking for $3000 to be sent to $LaKLa77.

Please and thank you. 💚

Looking for assistance

Hello,

I am asking for assistance to reduce my overall monthly payments. I am currently a union electrician in Utah, and I finally tackled our medical bills over the past year. This was due to overtime and incentive jobs. Work has currently slowed down and I’m working 40 hour weeks. Unfortunately I break even on bills working 5 10’s. I haven’t missed a day of work in 2 years. Even when I’m sick I have to show up to get our bills/ mortgage paid. I am asking for help to reduce these bills, and make it work with 40 hour weeks. My wife currently works and we have 2 children, age 1 and 3. We do not qualify for state assistance for daycare which we pay 2400 a month out of pocket. If I can pay my car loan($30k) it will save me 500/month. Or if I can pay down my principal on my house(probably $50k) it will save $400/month getting rid of the PMI. My wife has a car loan as well($40k) which would save $600/month. I would like to get rid of all of these but will be happy if just one goes away. So I am asking for 150k in donations. This is a huge ask and I do not expect all of it, and that’s ok. If I can tackle 1 or 2 of these payments I will be fine. Thank you

I have a disability and need help catching up financially

Hello and thank you for reading my plight.

My name is Mike and I am 53 years old.  I have Parkinson’s Disease, and just this year (in March), the symptoms finally progressed to the point that I was unable to work.  I am on disability now, but it is at 60% of what my salary was, which has made budgeting very tight.  Unfortunately, my wife was laid off her job (also in March) which has led to more financial strain.

What stresses me out the most is we have three children living at home, two of which are under the age of 10.  I don’t want to lose the house because it is the only home they have ever known.  I’m also worried about being able to feed them.  We have been going to food shelves, but don’t have much of a budget for groceries.

I am working on catching up on house payments, but am still $4,100 behind (I missed 3 payments waiting for disability to start, but have been paying a little extra each month since).

There is also $15,000 of debt (medical bills that I had to charge, I’m uninsured, and other debt).  If I could get rid of that, I would free up the $700 in minimum payments each month, and I would have grocery money.  Right now 79% of my income goes to house payments and minimum payments.

I know $19,000 is quite a bit to hope and pray for, but I have keep hope alive.  Anything and everything anyone can do to help would be so greatly appreciated.

Thank you from all my heart to for anyone who can help my family.

Mike

Help me give my daughter stabliity and a safe home

My name is Katelyn, I am a single mom to the sweetest most resilient little girl you could ever meet. She is my entire world.

For years, we lived in an abusive relationship that left us with nothing but each other. I found the courage to leave so we could have a peaceful safe life. It was a hard decision but the only way to protect my daughter and show her that she deserves love, respect and stability.

I was forced to file bankruptcy after my name and SSN was used to take out loans that were not ever paid. We were forced to sell our house and are now homeless.

Right now my biggest fear is that we will have to move her out of the school district that she’s been in since first grade. The one place that she has friends, caring teachers and a sense of normalcy throughout this chaos.

Why I’m asking for help:

I do have a full time job, and I work every day to give her a stable life. I’m working 80 hours a week to try to rebuild our lives, but because I was forced to file bankruptcy, I cannot get approved for a rental. I also cannot get a mortgage to give this beautiful child a stable life. I have been saving every penny that I can but without help, I won’t be able to keep her in this area where she feels safe and happy.

How your help will change our lives:

Every donation- no matter how small – will go directly toward a down payment for a modest home in our school district. This isn’t just about four walls, this is about giving my daughter stability in a safe neighborhood and giving her continuity of friendship and adult role models.

If you’ve ever had a moment in your life where you just need someone to believe in you and give you a hand, that’s where I am right now. Your generosity would mean more than words can express.

From my heart

If you can’t donate, I completely understand. Sharing this with someone that might be able to help would be so kind and appreciated beyond belief. Thank you for reading our story, for caring and giving us hope that better days are ahead.

All the love and gratitude.

Katelyn & Emily

Single mom in need of rescue from a spiral of debt

Hello to all.

To start off, I’m not homeless, I’m full-time employed and have never been on welfare. I just need some help getting out of debt so I can afford the increased cost of living.  I am a single mother and living paycheck to paycheck. I would love to be able to take my kids out or do extra activities but all my money goes toward bills and credit card debt.

Any amount will help.  I am in total around 60k in debt. I just want to be able to breathe and provide better for my kids.  I work hard for everything I have and I hate asking for help.

Thank you to anyone who is able to assist.  My paypal link is:

Single dad trying to keep the lights on

I’m a 39-year-old single father doing everything I can to provide for my child while I’m between jobs. Bills are past due, the fridge is running low, and I’m worried about losing the stability we’ve worked so hard to keep. Any help right now would go directly toward rent, utilities, and basic necessities until I can get back on my feet. Your kindness could be the reason we make it through this difficult time.

Life has a way of testing us in moments when we feel the least prepared. My name is Sinclair, and I’m doing my best to raise my child alone. I’ve always been the type to push through, work hard, and find solutions without asking for help. But this time, despite all my efforts, I’ve reached a point where I can no longer do it alone.

The job I was counting on recently fell through unexpectedly. I had planned my bills and expenses around that income, and without it, I’ve quickly fallen behind. My rent is due, my power bill is already past its due date, and I’m stretching what little I have left to make sure my child has food and basic necessities. Every day, I wake up with a mix of determination and worry, wondering how I’ll keep us afloat until I can secure another source of income.

I’ve been applying for jobs every day, attending interviews when I can, and even looking into side work just to bring in anything possible. But bills don’t wait for opportunities to arrive. My fear is that, without some help, I could lose the little stability we have left. I can handle going without, but my biggest fear is letting my child down or having them experience hardships they don’t deserve.

I’m not asking for luxury or comfort — just enough to cover the essentials while I get back on my feet. Any donation would go directly toward paying overdue bills and ensuring that we have the basics covered for the next few weeks.

From the Bottom of My Heart, Thank You

If you’ve read this far, I want you to know how much that alone means to me. Every contribution is more than just money — it’s a reminder that my child and I are not alone in this fight. Your support will give us hope, stability, and the chance to move toward a brighter tomorrow.

Help a broke gremlin upgrade her setup

Okay… so I’m going to swallow my pride and shamelessly toss this into the universe in hopes that some kind-hearted (and maybe a little chaotic) soul out there might help make my dream gaming/college setup a reality.

Here’s the situation… I’ve been running my entire digital life; gaming, schoolwork, streaming attempts, art, and just surviving the internet on a 13” 1080p Wacom One art tablet. Yes, you read that right. My current “monitor” is literally an art tablet, and while it’s been a trooper, the screen space is so tiny I’m basically editing essays and dodging bullets in games with the precision of a raccoon wearing oven mitts.

And then… I found The One.

A gorgeous 4K curved 27 inch, 165Hz gaming monitor. Crisp. Smooth. BIG. The kind of screen that makes you feel like your eyeballs are getting a spa day. The kind of upgrade that would turn my whole setup from “struggling student energy” to “okay, she’s got her life together”…  even if I’m still gaming in pajamas at 2am.

Problem? I am broke.

Like, “that monitor costs about $100 more than what’s currently in my bank account” broke. I’m working hard, but most of my paycheck goes to bills, school expenses, and making sure my boyfriend and I are covered if money gets tight. As much as I want to impulse buy this beauty, being financially responsible means I can’t.

So… here I am. Shamelessly asking:

If anyone out there has the means and generosity to help me snag this monitor, whether it’s through covering the whole thing or even just tossing a few bucks my way – I would be eternally grateful. Like, name my first legendary weapon after you grateful. 🥲

If you’ve ever wanted to be someone’s real life loot drop, this is your moment.

Thanks for reading, and may your own loot rolls be legendary. 💜

A Personal Plea – Urgent Help Needed for My Mother and Me

Hello, my name is Karen Surgeon.  This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. I’m 60 years old, and while I’ve faced many highs and lows in life, I never imagined I would be in this position—scared, overwhelmed, and in desperate need of help. Two years ago, my world turned upside down. I had just lost my son in a tragic and violent incident. Around the same time, my mother became widowed after losing her husband to cancer. I left everything behind in Boulder, Colorado, and returned to my hometown of Tucson, Arizona, to care for her full-time.  My mother is 84 years old and in very fragile health—she has a heart aneurysm, dangerously high blood pressure, and is only 4’3″ and 80 lbs. Over the 4th of July weekend, a terrifying incident occurred: two teens threw large rocks through her bedroom window at 3 AM. One rock missed her head by just two inches. The glass shattered all over her. The next day, still shaken, she fell and broke her ribs. She is now completely bedridden, and I care for her 24/7. Since coming back to Tucson, we’ve been through a storm of hardship. We initially moved into a relative’s home that turned out to be unsafe. We had to flee in the middle of the night and call the police over 15 times. We left with nothing. Eventually, I moved us into a small mobile home in a 55+ community—modest, but at least a roof over our heads. Rent and utilities are over $1,200 per month, and our savings have dwindled fast. Earlier this year, desperate to create a better future, I invested in what I believed was a legitimate online business opportunity. I made it clear to those I trusted that I had $10,000 to invest—no more. I asked for step-by-step guidance, explaining that I suffer from memory issues due to a traumatic brain injury years ago, and that I had limited computer skills. They promised full support and claimed it was “done for you.” But it was all misleading. As soon as I paid, the support disappeared. I was pushed to pay more, little by little. My savings drained, my credit plummeted, and I found myself deeper in crisis. Now, I’m falling behind on rent, utilities, car insurance—basic needs. I can’t even afford pet food.
Please I need a life line.  karensurgen66

Lend a hand to support our boys left behind

My name is Janel, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of Eli age 11, Elliott age 9, Edison age 5, who have recently suffered the unimaginable loss of their beloved father,Gaudencio Cardenas.

In addition to funeral expenses, the boys now face:

Immediate living expenses

School supplies and tuition

Counseling and mental health support

Long-term stability and basic needs

Your contribution will go directly toward helping these young boys stay safe, supported, and focused on their futures during this devastating time. Every dollar counts, and any amount you can give will make a lasting impact.

Single Mom, Full-Time Nursing Student, Caring for Two Boys and My Mom. Seeking a Hand Up, Not a Handout

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my story.

I never imagined I would be in a position where I’d be reaching out to strangers for help, but life has taken some unexpected turns and I’m doing my best to keep everything afloat.

I’m a single mother of two wonderful boys, both under the age of seven. We live with my 70-year-old mother, who is retired and living on a minimal retirement income. We still have a mortgage on our home, and the day-to-day bills are constant. I am the primary provider for my children and my mom. While their father is sometimes in the picture, the financial support we agreed on isn’t consistent, which leaves me scrambling to cover essentials.

On top of working full time, I’m also a full-time nursing student. I’m pursuing this degree because I want to create a better future for my boys… a future where they don’t have to worry about basic needs, and where I can give back to my community as a healthcare professional. I’ve been fortunate to receive scholarships that have eased some of the burden, but they don’t cover everything, and tuition and school expenses for both me and my older son still weigh heavily.

The financial stress has been building for a while. Between house expenses, utilities, groceries, my son’s and my school needs, and debt from student loans and credit cards, I feel like I’m running on empty both emotionally and financially. I’ve tried applying for loans, but my credit score still reflects poor decisions from years ago, even though I’ve been working hard to turn things around.

I want to be clear… I am not looking for a handout. I’m looking for a hand up to get through this rough patch and create stability for my family. I don’t have the time to take on extra work because my days are spent balancing my parenting, school and my job… sometimes I barely have time to sleep or eat. My goal is to raise $15,000–$20,000 to cover overdue bills, reduce debt, and pay for upcoming school expenses so I can focus on completing my nursing degree and building a more secure life for my children and my mom.

If you choose to help, please know that your donation… no matter how small… will directly impact our ability to keep moving forward. If you can’t give, I still deeply appreciate you reading my story and sending us your good thoughts.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering us.

Please Help Me Pay Rent and Avoid Eviction

Hello! I am asking for help with paying backpay in rent and avoiding eviction. I need $3000 to be able to stay in my apartment and any help would be greatly appreciated! I don’t have any more savings and I have been waiting for SSI approval for a few months now. I unfortunately don’t have any family left to help me out right now so I am here online asking for help, and I am really hopeful that someone could help me out. I have not given up and I am happy with whatever I receive from anyone that is able and willing to help. I will make it a goal of mine to help people out in the future when I am able. Any help would mean so much to me right now. Here are my PayPal link and zelle if you can help: https://paypal.me/jthomas825169
