First off, I want to start and say that I am college educated, receiving my Bachelor’s of Science degree in 2016 from a 4 year university. I am a military veteran, serving 4 years and got out to pursue my bachelors degree. Quickly after college, I landed a job in Marketing and Advertising receiving a decent salary, I was able to pay off the small amount of debt I had accrued in college. After working relentlessly for a year and a half. I got myself out of debt and had a little money saved too. I unexpectedly was laid off due to the company re-structuring. I have been out of work for nearly 6 months and blew through all of my savings while looking for a new job.
I have interviewed with many companies, making it often to the final round of interviews but just getting beat out by someone with more experience. I am close to securing a new job, I can feel it. I spend many hours a day putting in applications and trying to remain positive. This is hard to do but I am struggling financially, I can no longer pay my rent and may lose my car this month due to being a month behind on my auto payment. Luckily some friends have helped with groceries here and there. I am not a begger, I am a hard worker but I have no where else to go right now. Please help me if you can. I am around 10,000 in debt because of this unforseen employment. Anything helps, I would love to somehow, some way return the favor in anyway I can. I will not be in this situation for long but I need the help of a good person. Thank you & god bless.
