I never imagined I’d be here asking for help, but I’m facing a situation that has left me with no other option. My rent of $2,750 was due on July 1st and I have until the 5th before late fees and eviction notices start. I’ve already exhausted every resource I had just to move into this home, which I worked so hard for. Unfortunately, I lost my job unexpectedly, and despite doing everything I can to get back on my feet, I’m now at risk of losing the roof over my family’s head.

I’m a single mom doing everything possible to stay afloat. I’ve reached out to local churches, organizations, and friends, but I’ve come up short. Every dollar I had went toward making this home a safe place for my children, and now I’m left scrambling, praying for a miracle.

My name is Jessica. I am a wife and a mother of 2. I had a bad injury in March that has left me unable to work for a while. I just accepted a new job working. I unfortunately have found myself in a terrible situation. I need so bad for help as I dont make enough to turn it around quick enough. I am behind on all my bills. My internet has been shut off for several weeks $300 to catch that up and get it back on, my rent is behind $2,000. My lights have been pushed off till the 1st of July $500. My car just got repossessed so I am out transportation. Need about 3,000 to catch that up. My phone is paid up as I needed it to work. I am in a jam this month. I am a business owner . I have a decor design business for homes. I also have a Pound Cake business and a massage business. And I am currently looking online for parttime gig for night time. I am a single woman no kids never married.

I have always been a workaholic always trying to keep my business thriving. This has been a rough year so far for me just trying to keep everything going. I am stepping out of my comfort zone too ask for help. I have no one to help. Both of my parents are deceased and my siblings are not in a situation to help me.

I am reaching out today with humility and hope, asking for financial assistance during one of the most challenging periods of my life. My name is Shawn Costill, and I’m writing to ask for help during an incredibly difficult time. I’ve been battling serious medical issues since I was 12 years old, and despite years of surgeries and treatment, I’m now facing overwhelming financial stress as my health continues to affect my ability to work.

It all started with severe, constant stomach pain that left me bedridden and eventually homeschooled. After countless ER visits and doctors, I was diagnosed with endometriosis — four cysts and significant scar tissue were found during surgery. We hoped that treatment would ease the pain, but it never did. Over time, I learned to live with it, only going to the ER when it became unbearable.

Years later, a routine physical for a school activity finally gave us answers. A doctor listened closely, ran tests, and diagnosed me with MALS — a rare and painful stomach compression disorder that requires surgery to fix. Since then, I’ve also been diagnosed with Nutcracker Syndrome (which led to a kidney transplant), SMAS, May-Thurner Syndrome, POTS, and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I’ve now had 12 surgeries in total.

While we are doing everything we can to manage my conditions, the reality is that my pain has recently worsened. I’ve missed work, fallen behind on bills, and am struggling to keep up. While there are some assistance programs for my medical costs, everyday expenses — rent, utilities, basic needs — don’t qualify. I’m currently $2,500 behind and truly just need enough to catch up and breathe again.

I am a single mom and the father is absent and provides no help. I have fallen behind on my rent. I recently lost my car due to transmission failure. I was a delivery driver for Walmart, DoorDash and Ubereats and I used my car for my jobs.  I wasn’t able to make a couple of payments on my car and my bank ended up repossessing my vehicle with the bad transmission. Hello, I am 26 years old and I’ve been taking care of my girlfriend and our cat basically alone for almost a year. The lease on our apartment ends very soon, and I’ve been doing everything i can to hold on until it’s officially over. After that, we’ll be moving into my family’s home to relieve the financial pressure I’ve been under for quite a while. Over the past year, things have become more difficult month by month. My girlfriend lost her job and hasn’t been able to work due to ongoing physical and mental health issues, and I’ve taken on all of our expenses on my own.
