College Tuition

I am a first generation black college student who will be a sophomore at an HBCU (Historic Black Colleges and Universities). I am a psychology major and a business administration minor. I want to have my own therapy clinic that is non profit for those who can’t afford  it to get the help that they actually need. I also want to have my own cafe that will be a hangout spot and a comfortable place for people to do something relaxing such as reading or studying. I hope to also sell pastries and coffee in this cafe. I have had this dream for years ever since I was about 10 years old. I was in the top 20% in my class in high school with a 3.8 GPA and on top of that I graduated with honors. My family knew that at a young age I would be a successful person and that I would do well in school. I found out today that I need 5147 to pay in order to go to school this semester. The scholarships that I did have were taken away from me because I did not have enough college credits to receive them this year/semester.  I come from a low income family and money is at a minimum at the moment. I would really hate to have to stay home this semester instead of putting forward the brains and intelligence that I have to get my degree that I deserve so much. I know I have what it takes it’s just the money that is a setback for me right now. I refuse to let this setback discourage me at all and I will keep fighting and trying until there are no more options left. My family is so proud of me for already completing my first year and they’re so excited for me to be able to start my second year. I believe in God and I know that he would not bring me this far to forsake me or leave me and I just need to keep the faith. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you sat here and read this far I thank you for your time and I hope you have a blessed day. If you do decide you want to help me, my cash-app tag is $LakenyaDorsey . The photo that will pop up is a picture of me from my high school graduation day.

Struggling mom of four!

Normally this is not something I would ever consider but I am struggling. Two years ago I lost a really good job bc they downsized and jobs I have now don’t come close to what I did and it’s been a struggle. I’m now in 20k credit card debt and have used all of my savings to stay afloat and I am broke. 200 dollars to my name until 15th with house payment coming up and feeding these four kiddos and I just don’t know what to do. I’ve tried for loans but then I’ll owe more in interest. I just need some help. Anything would help out if your willing!

The Heartfelt Story of Mr. & Mrs. M.

The Heartfelt Story of Mr. & Mrs. M.

Mr. and Mrs. M., both 88 years old, have spent their lives serving their small community with unwavering dedication. Mr. M., a humble and compassionate pastor, has led a small congregation for over 53 years, offering spiritual guidance and support to countless individuals. His sermons, filled with wisdom and love, have been a beacon of hope for many. Mrs. M., always by his side, has been a pillar of strength, known for her warm hospitality and kindness.

As they age, life brings unforeseen challenges. Mr. M. faces significant health issues, struggling with severe pain in his back and legs, making it increasingly difficult for him to move around. Despite his physical challenges, he continues to hold onto his love for pastoring, but his declining health suggests that he may soon need to step down from the pulpit, a decision that weighs heavily on his heart.

Mrs. M. is facing her own battle with memory loss, which has slowly begun to affect her daily life. Together, they navigate these challenges with grace and perseverance, leaning on each other for support. However, the couple is now confronting a new and daunting obstacle.

A few years ago, they were convinced to take out a reverse mortgage with Carrington Mortgage Service, hoping it would provide them with financial relief in their retirement years. Unfortunately, the interest has been steadily eroding their home equity, and they now face the grim possibility of losing their beloved family home. The current loan balance stands at $335,157.55, with an interest rate of 7.28500%. Their combined retirement and social security income is insufficient to meet their financial obligations, let alone pay down this growing debt.

Mr. and Mrs. M. have always been proud and self-reliant, often giving to others rather than asking for help. Sharing their current situation is humbling, but they now find themselves in need of support. The thought of losing their home—the place where they’ve shared a lifetime of memories—is a heartbreaking reality they are desperate to avoid.

We, their friends and community, are reaching out to you for assistance. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards paying down their mortgage and covering necessary expenses to secure their home. Our goal is to help them maintain stability and dignity in this difficult time.

Your support means more than just financial relief; it’s a lifeline that could change the future for this devoted couple. We are not seeking a handout but rather a chance to overcome this hurdle and rebuild their lives. If you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing their story and offering words of encouragement are also incredibly valuable and appreciated.

Together, we can turn this challenging situation into a testament to the power of community strength and compassion. Thank you for taking the time to read their story and for considering how you might be able to support Mr. and Mrs. M. during this difficult time. Your kindness and generosity can make a world of difference.

Helping Dad

I moved in with my father earlier this year he has COPD, diabetes, he has had heart problems; including a double  bi-pass, and he needed help. He is a good Father and a good guy he is proud and should be , but he has trouble asking for help. That being said he is 70 lives on disability and its not enough. I can take care of him his house, and car but I need more money to actually be helpful. I have gone back to college full time so I don’t have much money to help with medical expenses, home, and car repairs. My siblings help when they can, but it is just when they can. They are great and we are grateful for them but that help just isn’t enough. Dad and I are swallowing our pride to ask for help. We need it. Thanks!

I’m in desperate need of financial help

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to read this post.  I am in the process of renegotiating my mortgage, and I don’t think that it will be approved.  I’ve made some financial mistakes in the recent past and I’m trying to rectify them.  I’m currently working two jobs, working between six and seven days a week.

I’ve recently had to buy a newer vehicle to get to work, my old vehicle had some mechanical problems.  My financial institution wants to add my car payment to my mortgage, along with other debts to clear them up and make it into one easily manageable payment.  The problem is that I’m at my income threshold for them to approve the new mortgage.  Every five years we need to redo the mortgage in Canada.  The new mortgage would be $100,000.00 if approved.

If the mortgage isn’t approved I’d be homeless, living out of my car, and still be making payments for something that I won’t be able to live in.

I’m asking for $60,000.00, which would be used to pay off my car and other debts, and allow me to keep a smaller mortgage on my house.

Again, thank you for your time and consideration on this issue.

A lapse in judgement was our downfall

Hi,

We made a bad decision that costs us our newly purchased vehicle that we are trying to get back, our bills to pile up, our electricity to be on the cusp of being turned off, our rent being late and paid in partial payments.  We have been fighting for custody of his son for years and the attorney fees have been adding up.

We are at the most desperate time in our life.  I have never had such stress and anxiety break me down on a near daily basis.  We need $5000 to get out of this hole, a second chance to make things right.

If there are any kindhearted people on this site that have the means to help us out, we beg for your assistance.  My PayPal.ME link is @begginainteasy and we, my husband and I, our two cats, and his son, sincerely thank you in advance for even considering this request.

Help my mission to end the world’s biggest injustice

My name is Jem, and I am an animal rights activist.

It started around 3 years ago when I became aware of the horrors that animals are subjected to every day. I learned that over 80 billion animals were being bred into existence every year for the sole purpose of being enslaved, exploited, and killed.

I learned that this is unnecessary, and is only happening so wealthy people can make profit from their bodies, whilst consumers fund the industry for a moment of taste or convenience, at the cost of an innocent beings entire life and existence.

I learned that every nutrient our bodies need can be obtained from plants, so why would we treat these vulnerable babies as commodities, and take everything that matters to them – their freedom, safety, comfort, children, and lives. After all, these things matter to them just as ours does to us.

I became vegan and decided to dedicate my life and my voice for speaking up for these beings who cannot defend themselves. My aim is to educate people about animal exploitation, and promote veganism – the principle that other animals should be free to exist in their own right and shouldn’t be exploited by humans for any use or purpose.

I do this for all of the lives who suffered at my hands before I was vegan, for all those who are currently being exploited on a farm or violated in a slaughterhouse, and for all those yet to be born into this system of abuse.

I took my activism to social media recently as I learnt that this is a great way to spread awareness to thousands more people.
My channel is www.youtube.com/@jemlettuce and my Instagram is www.instagram.com/jem_lettuce if you want to take a look.

I am looking for support so that I can quit my day job and focus on giving these beautiful innocent beings all of my time that they deserve. I just need enough to cover my bills and expenses so I can get by without having to earn money elsewhere.

Thank you for your time and consideration. My PayPal is paypal.me/jemlettuce
I am also on Patreon: patreon.com/JemLettuce

Any donations are greatly appreciated.

Help Save My Mother’s Life A Fundraising Appeal for Cancer Surgery

Dear Friends,

My name is Devin, and I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for help. My beloved mother has been diagnosed with a severe form of cancer that requires immediate surgery and continuous medication. This unexpected diagnosis has turned our world upside down, and we are now faced with the immense challenge of raising $10,000 in just 7 days to cover her medical expenses.

Our Story

My mother is the strongest woman I know. She has always been the pillar of our family, providing us with endless love, support, and care. She has spent her life selflessly taking care of others, and now it is our turn to take care of her. Unfortunately, the cost of her surgery and medication is beyond our means, and we are left with no choice but to seek help from kind-hearted individuals like you.

The Urgency

Cancer is a relentless disease, and time is of the essence. The doctors have advised that my mother needs to undergo surgery as soon as possible, followed by an extensive course of medication. The total cost of these medical treatments amounts to $10,000, and we have only 7 days to raise this amount. Without this financial support, we risk losing the precious time we have to save her life.

How You Can Help

We humbly ask for your generous donations to help us reach our goal. Every dollar counts, and no amount is too small. Your contribution will go directly towards covering the cost of my mother’s surgery and medication, giving her a fighting chance to overcome this disease.

Other Ways to Support

If you are unable to contribute financially, there are still many ways you can help:

  • Share our story with your friends, family, and social networks.
  • Offer words of encouragement and support to keep our spirits high.
  • Organize a small fundraising event in your community.

Final Words

We are eternally grateful for any support you can provide during this difficult time. Your kindness and generosity can make a world of difference in my mother’s fight against cancer. Together, we can give her the chance to continue being the loving and caring person she has always been.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Struggling to survive by myself after 23 year marriage

Hi,
I am starting over after my 23 year marriage ended in divorce. He was the provider since I broke my back and I’ve undergone 6 major back surgeries. I am having a difficult time making ends meet. I recently received a note that I am evicted and I have 30 days to vacate. I am terrified. I do not have funds to relocate or even a place to relocate too. I would be beyond grateful and so appreciative to receive any financial help big or small. Sending love to all. Thank you so much!

Single Grandma, evicted must find a place and move fast!!! I need $50,000

I was caring for my grandparents in their home. During that time I was blessed with two darling grandchildren. They are just one year apart. The oldest is 6 now. My grandfather died, and then seven months later Covid hit, and my grandmother died too.  We were forced to move and took the only place that we could find which happened to be right across the street. When we moved in the landlords said they would sell us the house but not the farm. They said I could just get an appraisal and we would go from there. I was thinking the monthly payments would go down if we bought it. We’ve been here four years. The land lords are so strict with everything. Even make us go through monthly inspections. They drive by here many times through out the day and night. Can’t have company park in the driveway etc We love the wild life here. Feeding the animals only to see them killed. They shoot the birds, raccoons, opossums, skunks, deer, and trap the coyotes. Heart breaking! We asked them not to poison the yard and I weeded all the time and they still poisoned. Even along the creek. We put up with so much only because we planned on buying the house. I mentioned that someone had been coming in the house at night hoping for extra security. There was often damages or things missing. I was afraid to complain too much because they had us on a month to month lease. The land lord would say he thought someone must have had a crush on me. One morning I awoke, went to the kitchen, and found the sink was running. and the faucet had been pushed over to the window sill and water had filled the counter top and dripped down the face of some of the cabinets, making some drip marks. They had mentioned the month before that the  cabinets seemed a shade darker. Months passed after that. The last inspection she asked me why I washed a curtain in my room. She often has requests or questions about the curtains. This time I told her that the curtains in my room I bought and hers were safely put away. I told her you asked me to run all the ceiling fans for the last two moths since the air wasn’t working and it has caused them to get dusty. When she was leaving she said I should start looking for a place. I said I thought we were buying the place and she said, no she never said that.  The news was a shock. Still can’t believe they are doing this. They knew my grandparents we thought of them in the beginning as family friends. I am still looking for a place and or storage units. I didn’t have time to save up for moving fees, hook ups for utilities, truck rental, etc. The six year old has a dental procedure coming up and the anesthesiologist  doesn’t accept our insurance, so i have to pay 1,000 out of pocket. My back door to our van wont latch now and the window has been broken out. I have it bunged shut. Also the littlest flushed paper towels down the toilet, and a plumber needs to be called. Hopefully this is bottom and I can only go up from here. I am looking for a farm house for sale or even rent if that’s all I can find fast. I am grateful for any help. www.PayPal.Me@LovesPeace8.com

Preserving our haven: A community call to save our home

Losing our family home is one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced. It’s not just about bricks and mortar; it’s about losing our sanctuary, the place where we’ve celebrated birthdays, welcomed new family members, and built our dreams. We never imagined we’d be in a position where we’d have to ask for help from strangers, but here we are, hoping that our story will touch someone’s heart enough to lend a hand.
It all started with a series of setbacks that seemed insurmountable. Medical bills piled up unexpectedly, draining our savings. Then, a job loss hit us hard, leaving us struggling to keep up with mortgage payments. Despite cutting back on everything we could, we found ourselves on the brink of foreclosure. Our children, who have known no other home, are now facing the possibility of uprooting from their school and community.
We’ve tried everything within our means to save our home. We’ve borrowed from family and friends, sought refinancing options, and even considered selling cherished possessions. But it’s not enough. That’s why we’re reaching out to you, our community, for help. Every dollar counts towards keeping a roof over our heads and maintaining stability during this turbulent time.
Sharing our story isn’t easy. It’s humbling to admit that we need assistance, but we’re fighting to keep our family together under one roof. Your support means more than just financial relief; it’s a lifeline that could change our future. We’re not asking for a handout—we’re asking for a chance to overcome this hurdle and rebuild our lives.
If you’re able to contribute, know that your donation will go directly towards mortgage payments and necessary expenses to secure our home. We understand if you can’t contribute financially; your words of encouragement and sharing our story with others can make a world of difference too. Together, we can turn this moment of hardship into a testament of community strength and compassion.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering how you might be able to support us during this challenging time.
