Need rent assistance after car repair

Good day everyone.

I hate having to ask for help, but I have no other choice at the moment. I had rent money saved up, but had my car break down last week and needed to use my rent money to pay for the car repairs. So, I am needing help with my rent. I have arranged with my landlord to pay late and he understands the situation.

Rent is $1,200 and is due no later than August 7. If I can get help with it I would appreciate it. I cannot be evicted because I have a special needs family member living with me and are unable to move at the moment.

Single mom who got scammed and lost everything

IN Desperate need!!

Hello,

I’d like to start by saying thank you for taking the time to read this. I have never done anything like this before and just found out this sort of thing existed. I’m a single mother with 2 children ages 3 and 17 years old. i have no family but my children. my father passed away when i was 2 and my mother and sister died in 2009, both sets of my grandparents are deceased and i lost my baby bother in 2023 at the age of 29. So I’ve never had a village to help me with my children or emergency situations.

that being said the reason im writing this is because this is my last hope . I have reached out to non profits , every charity i could find and every church near me. About 8 months ago i had a pipe bust that ran under the laundry room and master bath and bedroom going to the hot water heater. i took me awhile to get someone out to my house to cut the water off and get it fixed. well after that it busted 2 more times . it soaked the bellybag under the house and mold started growing in the bedroom and batheroom faster that i could clean it. so i shut the room off and hung a big blanket up trying to make sure the room was sealed from the rest of the house. i then started searching for help and here i am 8 months later and still have not found help.

My daughter has chronic eczema and is allergic to grass, trees, dust, cats and dogs. My son has asthma and I have alot of health issues also. I have tried looking for hotel vouchers and nobody has them. I was even speaking to people that buy houses for cash so I could buy an RV but I  own my home and land and would end up starting all over again… we have no family to stay with and no where to go. so today Im asking for help to purchase an rv I can put on my property and to get out of this house that is making us sick. I live in a rural area so i could tie right in to my septic and water. then once we are out of the home I could focus on finding help for the house. The bedroom and bathroom walls are black with mold and the celing and insulation have fallen out…

I have no clue how much money to ask for. I have looked online at RV’s and found some 2 bedroom in the 20-30 thousand price range. I will try to find the cheapest one that meets our needs . I  have also fallen behind on my car payments due to having to fix it all the time. Please Help!

I’m a single mother who was just recently laid off from my job without any kind of warning. I have bills starting to pile up and 2 girls to take care of, one of which is getting ready to start school so on top of everything else I still have to get her school clothes and shoes, school supplies. Hello,

I have until Monday, August 5, 2024 to come up with $800 to prevent being evicted. I am a single mother of 2 and recently had to replace the transmission in my car.

I work 10 hours a day at a manufacturing plant. I am usually a master at “robbing Peter to pay Paul” and then going back to pay Peter when the smoke clears. That skill has kept us afloat so far. Now, the transmission repair on our only vehicle has devastated everything I had.

We live in a simi rural area where public transportation is not an option and I work in the next city 35 minutes away so not repairing the vehicle was also not an option. 2 College Students Barely Making It

Hello, my name is Brendan. I am a recently honorably discharged Combat Medic Specialist from the US Army. My wife and I made the expensive and painstaking move from Austin, TX to Louisville, KY in order to pursue educational goals. While we were expecting it to be somewhat challenging, what we found out is that a lot more can go wrong in a short period of time than people thing. 2 of our 3 cats, in the last month, have been taken for emergency vet visits, totaling to over $3500 in labs, tests, and treatments. Following that event, combined with the outrageous cost of rent, utilities, and other implements necessary to live, we are both now in a position where someone else’s gratitude and good heart would be extremely helpful and a gift from god. First Car

Hello, School is starting soon and I have college classes in the morning, we only have one vehicle for transportation. And im currently working hard for my first vehicle. Working can be stressful and im barely making minimun wage. I seem to get a little depressed wishing I had my own car. Though I know that will come in with hard work and time. My parents grew up poor, but knowing the values they taught me. I can’t always get want I want. I started my job two years ago and only managed to save up to 4 thousand. I also help my parents pay bills because I know it’s something I will have to do in the near future. Though it’s not something I like to do but I always love to care for my family and be there when I can. On the other hand I would love to get my first car to move around town and get to point A and to Point B. Which would greatly decrease my mom’s stress. However owning a car for the first time may be exciting but what most people dont expect is the great responsiblity it comes with. My mom always told me that if I do get my first car always keep your eyes on the road no matter what. And I promised her I would. Another reason why I want money for a car is to have the freedom and travel wherever I want. I’m a 74 yr old retired single woman. My monthly pay from Social Security is only $920. It should be higher than that, but someone had erased my work history at a Dept Store. In order to make extra money, I tried working at Doordash and Uber Food delivery. However, I’m not able to do that anymore because it made me very anxious. Also, my car is a 2013 and consumes alot of gas. I do own a one bedroom one bath condo. I have been looking constantly for a less expensive condo but there isn’t anything available. My condo isn’t expensive, but nothing is selling. My condo maintenance went up to $607 a month. Then I was charged $1000. for assessment. In January I’ll be charged another $1000. for more assessments. I have a support small dog. He needs Cardio Care prescription dog food. He has a heart murmur. He also has a collapsed esophagus and his lungs fill with fluid. So I have three medications for him to get and his special dog food. As I said earlier, my car is a 2013 and I just hope I don’t have any major expenses for my car.

Good day ahead! I am 39 years old and a father of a new-born baby girl. My baby girl is 01 years old for now, and we are living in a small house by renting it, as we don’t have our own house for now.
