Single mom of 3 in crisis recent car repossession and pending eviction

I am raising money for a single mom of 3 who has been out of work on medical leave since earlier in the year. She will be hopefully able to return early next year however her position as a nurse at a trauma hospital will remain severely challenging and she is being encouraged to move slowly and find a pace that works best for her health-which an employer will not support so she has to give herself this grace.
During her leave she has faced countless setbacks including a recent car repossession, current/pending eviction and daily struggles of providing for her children emotionally, physically and mentally.
She has kept all of these things concealed for her children’s well being and makes things seem way easier than what she is currently battling. STD and State leave has been exhausted, LTD from insurance has been in an appeal process from a denial due to miscommunications. State assistance (snap) has been delayed and still pending full approval. She doesn’t qualify for many other options but does not want to rely on “help” and wishes she could push herself through this time alone. She has continued and will continue to provide the best life for her kids since rebuilding their lives a couple years ago after leaving her spouse due to dv. She has fought long and hard to regain all they left behind (both material and sentimental values). She poured her savings into moving and getting a car when they left which she has now lost and is renting or borrowing vehicles to ensure her kids can be transported and she can attend daily appointments.
I want this woman to feel empowered for making the decisions she did for her family despite all that she is currently battling. Both she and her kids deserve a break and I know there is hope to provide for her.
please let me know if any documentation, verification of need is required. For safety and protection I will not publicly share certain details to maintain her privacy and have blurrred children’s faces for same purpose. Making certain people aware of mother’s vulnerable position could add layers of stress from unwanted parties.

My Mom

Hello,
I am reaching out to share a deeply personal and difficult situation, and to ask for help during this challenging time. My mother, Sue Anne Sleeper, passed away on November 4th in Alabama, where she lived. I live in New Hampshire, and unfortunately, I am unable to afford the travel expenses required to be there in person or to cover the full cost of her end-of-life services.
At 58 years old, I have faced a tough journey finding stable employment for quite some time. It was only this past July that I finally secured a position, and I have successfully completed my probationary period. While this progress has been a relief, it has not yet translated into the financial stability needed for the unexpected expenses I am now facing.
I am trying to raise $3,200 to cover the costs associated with my mother’s end-of-life services. This is not just about money—it’s about honoring her memory, providing the respect she deserves, and handling important matters that require my attention across states. Managing these responsibilities from a distance makes everything more complicated and costly.
I fully understand that times are difficult for many, and it is with great humility and awareness that I make this request. It’s never easy to ask for help, yet here I am, hoping that those who can support might find it in their hearts to assist during this difficult time.
If you would like to contribute, I welcome donations through PayPal at paypal.me/ro0osta. Additionally, if you prefer to make a direct payment to the funeral home handling my mother’s arrangements, you can do so at:
Holman Funeral Home
995 South Union Avenue
Ozark, AL 36360
Phone: 334-774-5348
Please mention my name so they can apply the payment accordingly.
I am deeply grateful for any assistance or support, whether financial or simply kind words. Your generosity will help ease the financial burden and allow me to focus on what truly matters: saying goodbye with dignity and love. If you are unable to contribute, please know that your compassion and well wishes mean just as much.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your consideration. I promise to pay forward any kindness I receive when I am able.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or would like to talk more.
With heartfelt gratitude,
David Godbout

Broken Teeth & a Fractured Existence

I never went to the dentist as a kid. My mother was a single mother to my brother and myself and it was just too expensive. I also never went to the doctor unless bones were broken, and I can clearly remember how angry my mother would be during these few and far between visits. Most of the time we were subjected to home remedies, and confined to bed rest until we were able, or the malady lessened sufficiently to justify going back to school or what have you. I did make it to the dentist once when I was a child, I took a header into my Grandmothers old school solid wood coffee table and broke the entire top row of teeth and was given silver teeth as a replacement.

I was also a touring musician in a punk rock band for the majority of my late teens and 20s. Suffice to say hygiene was not as high on the list of priorities as food and gas, and of course beer. Dental hygiene was non-existent. When the band broke up and I found my way back home, my absentee father had decided that the timing of child support no longer being necessary was a perfect time to start building a relationship with his kids, and seeing the state of my teeth, took me almost immediately to the dentist. It was a good experience. we got about half of the entire treatment plan done, which worked out to half of my entire mouth and cosmetically I felt better, but the continued treatment was laden with caveats by my father, one of which was traveling 800 miles to his dentist, and the other being all sorts of adherence to lifestyle changes that I felt had nothing to do with my teeth. and even less to do with building a relationship, and the dental work was never finished.

So I have spent the next 20 years living my life, doing my best, but never quite getting that job with the great health insurance that covers dental, or the income necessary to be able to afford the luxury of returning to the dentist. A combination of lifestyle choices, lack of income, lack of housing, and other trials and tribulations has led me to my current state. A broken. discolored and fractured smile. non-existent back teeth. or molars, my wisdom teeth being removed when my father took me to the dentist. So i have the entirety of my top teeth broken and fractured, no back teeth. and living everyday in considerable pain and not being able to eat anything that has a consistency above rice pudding, or soggy cereal.

It has led to an inability, either through distaste. embarrassment, or both, in getting employment. Severe depression and a level of fear bordering on obsessive paranoia that my teeth are going to kill me, due to the reoccurring abscesses so close to my brain, and the links between gum disease and heart attacks. I have sequestered myself away from the rest of the world, have no friends, and little to no family left other than my brother and my father, to which I am currently estranged for many reasons that I’ll not go into here.

I am in need of anything, anything at all that can help me with my teeth. I would take dentures, implants, even some veneer caps that cap your existing teeth and are a completely cosmetic and non-permanent solution but would help in the moment, and are considerable cheaper than many of the other options. However, I have been told that my mouth is no longer fixable and that I would need to completely replace my teeth in their current state and that dental implants would be the only and best option for long term stability and health. This also happens to be the most expensive, and given my lack of human interaction, internet side hustles and remote work barely pay my bills let alone are sufficient to the ability to save money to try and pay for them myself, or buy dental insurance, or even to try and finance the procedure.

So, having found no other recourse, I have made my way to this site in the hopes of a good Samaritan reading my plight, taking pity, and giving me the financial support necessary to changing my life with what I have come to recognize as a single day procedure that would not only change my life, but what might just save it. I don’t really know what else to say here, that wouldn’t be misconstrued as pandering, begging, manipulation, or playing upon sympathies. which I am not the greatest at. and I just happen to find reprehensible. Hopefully, this will result in something, but I hold very little hope and even fewer expectations. So. if you read my lament then thank you for spending the time. and if you find yourself in the position to be able to help you will find no one more appreciative and, hopefully, worthy.

Help Me Finish My BSN and Continue Touching Lives as a Nurse

Dear kind and generous friends,

Hello, I am Rose Mainah and nursing is my calling, my dream and my passion. I am a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and have been in the field for 6 years serving people with love and care. Whenever I see someone who needs care, comfort, hope and healing, I always know why I am in this profession.

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with Nightingale College, it is a 32 months program, so far I have spent $ 45,699 out of the total of $75,000. In Faith, I have worked very hard to be able to achieve this, I am at the finishing line with $29,301 to go! I only have two and half semesters to go for me to complete this 32 months (3year and 4months) program. I will soon become a Registered Nurse (RN).

I did not qualify for FASFA, my class schedule and family commitments only allows me to work 24hrs weekly at most, I am a mother of 3 beautiful children and my youngest is five years and I have a wonderful loving Husband who has supported me throughout this journey.

This is in addition to my remaining $29,301 tuition, I am currently $6,320 out of compliance for this semester and the deadline for payment is 19th December, 2025. If the said amount is not paid before the deadline date, I will be locked out of my Canvas learning management system and will be unable to continue with my class.

I know for a fact that being a mother, working and school has been one of the toughest challenges of my life but I will not give up on this dream I have. Everyday as I study after a long day at work and spend those late nights in the library pulling all-nighters, all I can think of is my end goal. I just have to keep on going and not let anything stop me from achieving my dreams, I want to show my children that if they hold on in faith and persevere, nothing is too big to be achieved.

Help me Finish my BSN to be able to care for and touch more people, serve freely and continue to bless others with the gift of nursing.

💙 How Your Support Will Help

Your generous gift will help me:

Pay my remaining tuition and courses fees of $29,301

Pay my compliance balance of $6,320 before deadline

Remain focused and finish my BSN and complete my capstone

Continue taking good care of my patients and family as I complete school

Any amount will greatly help, if all of us came together and donated a dollar, I will be able to make it! Your gift and generosity will not only see me graduate but also touch everyone I care for in my nursing capacity.

I’m out of options

I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help, but I’m running out of options and I don’t know where else to turn. I’m a single father of two incredible 20-year-old twin boys. They’ve worked hard their whole lives and dream of becoming veterinarians. Right now, they’re attending community college and doing everything they can to stay on the right path, but I’m terrified because I don’t know how I’m going to help them get any further.

I’m 50 years old, and I make under $40,000 a year. It’s enough to barely stay afloat, but never enough to get ahead. I make just a little too much to qualify for grants or financial aid—just enough for the system to tell me I don’t need help, but not enough to actually cover what my kids will need for a real college education. I haven’t found the courage to tell them yet that I probably won’t be able to afford to send them beyond community college, and that breaks my heart more than anything.

On top of that, everything seems to be falling apart at once. My vehicle has started having engine trouble, and it’s the only way I can get to work. I recently lost my SNAP benefits, and now I’m being told I’m about to lose my state health insurance as well. I’m doing everything I can, but it feels like every step forward knocks me two steps back.

I’ve always tried to be strong for my boys, to give them the best life I could, but right now I’m struggling. Any help—big or small—would mean more than I can express. Thank you for taking the time to read this. It’s not easy to ask, but I’m doing it for them. They deserve a chance at the future they’ve worked so hard for.

A second chance to a debt free life

This is honestly one of the most painful things I have ever written. I never thought my life would reach a moment where I would have to ask for help like this. It makes me feel small and ashamed, but I don’t know what else to do anymore.

I live in Europe and the job market here has been extremely difficult for years. I studied before, I graduated, I did everything I was supposed to do. I have an education and I have always tried to build a stable life. But even with that, it has been almost impossible to find real work. Right now I am studying again simply because it is the only way to receive any income at all. The support I get from the state barely covers basic needs and it does not even come close to helping with the private debts I have carried since I turned eighteen.

I am twenty five now. I have two children that I love more than anything, one biological and one who is my husband’s from before but I love them both equally. My husband works so hard. He works full time, takes extra shifts on weekends and evenings, and he gives everything he has to keep our family stable. I am grateful for him every single day. His income keeps us alive for the month but we cannot save anything and he does not know about the debts I carry. He only knows about the student loans and nothing else.

I took those debts when I had just become an adult. I was young and desperate to stand on my own feet, and I had no idea how heavy the consequences would be. They have followed me for years like a shadow that never leaves. I feel so much shame that I have not even been able to tell the man I share my life with. I feel guilty every single day and I hate that this is a part of my life.

I am a kind person with a good heart and I want nothing more than to give my family peace and stability. I have tried everything I can. I apply for jobs everywhere, I call, I visit places in person, I study so I can have a future, I try to keep everything together at home. I thought hard work, patience and education would be enough. But right now it feels like I am drowning and no matter how hard I fight, the water keeps rising.

To finally clear everything and start fresh I would need around one hundred to two hundred thousand dollars. Even writing that makes me feel sick because I know it is not anyone else’s responsibility to fix my mistakes. I am not asking for luxury or comfort. I am asking for a chance to breathe and rebuild my life. I am asking for a chance to become the mother and the wife I want to be without this heavy secret destroying me from the inside.

If you are able to help in any way, even by sharing this, I am truly grateful. Thank you for reading my story and for giving me a moment of hope.

Starting over

I have to say, I’m 61 and never asked for help in the past. I’ve worked hard all my life and have had a job since I was 15, until recently. I haven’t made the best financial decisions but I don’t have any fancy stuff. I am recently divorced, was renting and couldn’t afford to stay there with one income. Credit card and loan debt ran up by the ex. And now, lost my job. I basiclly have my 2013 Ram truck, my cloths and my dog, Lola. I am currently staying with my older brother and his wife but I can’t intrude for long. Doesn’t feel right for a 61 year old living in a guest room. With the lack of that 2nd income, all the bills are late or not paid and my credit has gone from almost 800 to below 500 in less than a year. All I want is a place for me and my dog to call home. I will be getting SS soon and can maintain but I don’t have what it takes to get there. Actually looking for a travel trailer so Lola and I can travel and see some site while we both still can. I’m asking for $40,000 to get us back on our feet, get a roof over our heads we can call our and start to get the credit back in the right direction. Like I said, I get my ss soon so we can at least maintain. Any help you can give would be really appreciated. Thank you.

Need help staying in home and resetting life. Looking for a loan

Hi, this is the absolute last thing I would have ever have thought of doing but because of circumstances I have come here. We are a family of 4 with 2 children under the age of 10. I absolutely hate asking for money and go against everything in me but I need to ask. We are about 3 months late on the mortgage and are in danger of foreclosure. These were stupid mistakes on taking new loans one after another that now have piled up and make it very hard to breathe. We make enough money to pay for everything if it wasn’t for all the loans we have and credit card balances. We are looking for $100,000 to complete reset life. I would like this as a loan to repay you back. We make enough money to pay you $1200 a month back if everything is reset and still live comfortably.

Please help us in our time of need and I promise to pay it forward as well. We are a religious family and would greatly appreciate it anything as the holidays are approaching.  Again, thank you for reading this and God Bless.

escape the cycle of debts and star a new life for me and my family

Hi everyone,
My name is jacques  THEODULE. This isn’t an easy thing for me to write, but I’ve reached a point where I need to ask for help. Over the past few months (or years), I’ve been struggling with debts that keep growing no matter how hard I work. I’ve tried everything to keep things steady for my family, but the pressure has become overwhelming.

I dream of giving my family a stable life — to take them somewhere peaceful, to breathe without fear of bills piling up, and to finally ask the woman I love to marry me. But right now, I feel like I’m losing my grip under the weight of stress and depression.

Your support would help me clear my debts, get a fresh start, and rebuild my sense of hope. Even the smallest donation or share means more than words can express. I don’t want to give up — I just need a little help to find my footing again.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any kindness you can offer.

Single Mom Of Two Seeking Financial Assistance After A Challenging Period

I am a single mom of two, and this past year has been one of the most challenging periods of my life. What began as a hopeful and promising year quickly turned into a battle for my daughter’s life and my family’s financial stability. In April, my one-year-old daughter fell ill. At first, her condition seemed minor, but as her symptoms worsened, we realized that she needed urgent medical attention. She was admitted to the local hospital, but due to limited resources and equipment, her situation deteriorated rapidly. Eventually, she had to be airlifted to a neighboring island to receive specialized care, including dialysis for her strained kidneys.

During this time, my daughter faced multiple life-threatening complications, including fluctuating heart function, meningitis, and necrotic toes. She had to be placed in an induced coma and intubated, and I watched helplessly as her tiny body fought to survive. I exhausted my personal savings because I no longer had health insurance after being made redundant from my previous job. Her medical expenses for the first week totaled EURO 19,2636.21 (approximately $22,925.00) and had to be paid upfront before her transfer. She remained hospitalized for two months, with an additional month of outpatient care on the neighboring island. Thankfully, through that island’s social assistance program, the balance of the hospital bill was covered, but I had to remain with my daughter for outpatient care for an additional month, unable to work or generate income during this time.

My baby’s recovery exceeded even the doctors’ expectations, but she was left with lasting reminders of her ordeal, including a partially amputated toe and a bald spot on the back of her head due to necrosis. These are the marks of her courage and resilience and serve as a daily reminder to never give up hope. Meanwhile, my sixteen-year-old daughter stayed with her grandparents, and I missed precious months of her life due to these circumstances.

Returning home, I faced overwhelming debt. My mortgage is now behind and my utility bills are unpaid. On top of this, my house requires urgent repairs, including fixing termite damage to the roof, repairs I had planned to pay for with my initial savings. I am now seeking financial assistance to stabilize my situation, pay off mounting debts, and secure a safe, stable environment for my daughters while I search for a new job. Any support would make a significant difference in helping us regain our footing and move forward with hope.

Every donation, no matter the size, will bring us closer to financial stability and provide a sense of security during this challenging time.

Thank you for your time and I do hope that you consider helping my family in our hour of need.
