Hello, I am Rose Mainah and nursing is my calling, my dream and my passion. I am a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and have been in the field for 6 years serving people with love and care. Whenever I see someone who needs care, comfort, hope and healing, I always know why I am in this profession.
I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with Nightingale College, it is a 32 months program, so far I have spent $ 45,699 out of the total of $75,000. In Faith, I have worked very hard to be able to achieve this, I am at the finishing line with $29,301 to go! I only have two and half semesters to go for me to complete this 32 months (3year and 4months) program. I will soon become a Registered Nurse (RN).
I did not qualify for FASFA, my class schedule and family commitments only allows me to work 24hrs weekly at most, I am a mother of 3 beautiful children and my youngest is five years and I have a wonderful loving Husband who has supported me throughout this journey.
This is in addition to my remaining $29,301 tuition, I am currently $6,320 out of compliance for this semester and the deadline for payment is 19th December, 2025. If the said amount is not paid before the deadline date, I will be locked out of my Canvas learning management system and will be unable to continue with my class.
I know for a fact that being a mother, working and school has been one of the toughest challenges of my life but I will not give up on this dream I have. Everyday as I study after a long day at work and spend those late nights in the library pulling all-nighters, all I can think of is my end goal. I just have to keep on going and not let anything stop me from achieving my dreams, I want to show my children that if they hold on in faith and persevere, nothing is too big to be achieved.
