single mom needing help to move

Hello, I hope you are doing well. I am a single mom of 4 girls. My goal is to move into my own place. After my husband left me, I moved into my parents’ basement and paid them rent because I couldn’t afford to pay for an apartment and manage the bills. My parents were such a big help for the girls and I.  Their support meant the world to me. Several years after, my mom retired and my dad passed away. Lately, my mom has been saying that she doesn’t want to stay in the house because it reminds her too much of my dad. My mom wants me and the girls to move out of the house so she can sell it and move down south. I recently sent one of my daughters away to college out of state. She is renting an apartment with the money she earned from working at the University. She has to take out a student loan because I can’t afford to pay her tuition and neither can she. My other daughter is a senior in high school and I’m barely scraping up enough money to pay her senior dues. My other two girls are still in school and am struggling to manage the expenses that add with with their needs. My girls and I need an environment where they can focus on their studies and where we can all just be at peace. I need a comfortable apartment for me and the girls, but can only afford a two bedroom. So I am asking for donations so that I can pay for a moving company to wrap and move heavy furniture and the initial fees and deposits to rent an apartment. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I am extremely grateful for your help in assisting me so I can respect my mom’s wishes and move out of her home as soon as possible so she can sell her home and move down south. I thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. It means so much to me that you are willing to help a struggling mom in need.

Below is the link where you can send me donations. Thank you!

Subject: Funding Request to Support Myself , Disabled Veterans and Homeless Individuals

Mission: BuildThe Green Dream

To whom it may concern

Some days are easier than others, depending on my energy as a disabled veteran. Despite these challenges, I am determined to rebuild my life and create a future of stability, independence, and purpose. I am writing to request your support in stabilizing my monthly expenses and engine replacement in my 2004 F150 crew cab, while launching a home-based business and a broader mission: helping homeless veterans and individuals committed to rebuilding their lives.

I have had a strong work ethic since I was 14, starting in the hospitality industry and advancing from dishwasher to waiter to managing the front office of a four-diamond hotel in Annapolis, Maryland. While continuing in hospitality, I also worked in the lumber industry and eventually became a commercial and residential contractor. These experiences instilled in me responsibility, leadership, and persistence—qualities I carry into every endeavor.

I served honorably in the military from 1988 to 1991. On October 31, 2023, I was the victim of a hit-and-run while exercising on my mountain bike in rural Virginia. I suffered multiple injuries, required emergency surgery, and two weeks later endured a stroke, spending two months in rehabilitation. Since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019, I have struggled to rebuild, facing financial and physical setbacks that have made recovery and stability challenging.

I am a proud father of three grown daughters, all with families of their own. Their support has been invaluable, yet I face pressing financial challenges. I need to replace the motor in my truck, cover rent at $450 per month, utilities, groceries, and invest in launching my home-based business, which will serve as a model to expand a larger mission.

My ultimate goal is to purchase land in East Texas or Southwest Louisiana to create a community for homeless veterans and others seeking to rebuild their lives. This community would provide housing, education, and business opportunities, empowering residents to regain independence and thrive. My business will serve as a financial and educational foundation, demonstrating sustainable pathways to success.

Your support will not only stabilize my current situation but help create a lasting impact—offering independence, purpose, and hope to disabled veterans, homeless individuals, and anyone striving to rebuild their lives. Together, we can turn resilience into opportunity and create a model of success for others to follow.

Thank you for considering this request. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this project in detail and explore ways your support can make a transformative difference.

Sincerely,

James Whitcher

Building Life After Domestic Violence

My mother and I are rebuilding our lives after living in a domestic violent household. We were both in a women’s shelter before finally getting a home. Soon after my mother fell ill with TB and is still recovering from this, meaning she hasn’t been able to work. I’ve started a new job but we have some debt from the last few years, making our cost of living difficult at the moment. I would greatly appreciate anything you may have to give. Thank you so much. Hoping for a miracle

Hello my name is Renee and having to ask for me is so hard because I have always worked so hard my whole life raising 3 children on my own with no help. I loved every minute though and it just made me a stronger person in crazy world,  My children are now in their 30”s and I never get to see them because they are so busy. I had major surgery a few months ago and I have a lot of healing to do. So I decide to move with my kitty from NY to Arizona where the warmer winters will help with my healing and I can start a new life. Well my car broke down in TN and my extended warranty o ly covered $300 out of $ 3500 so that kind really set me back because I wasn’t planning on that much money for a mechanic bill. Also, I have to pay a $400 car payment for a lemon. I got this car from a dealership to have less problem and I’ve had way more problems and they wouldn’t take the car back after it broke down the first week I got it! Anyways I’m in Arizona now and they money I lost was suppose to be to get a place to live while I found a job and I’m out of money now and my kitty isn’t feeling good I need to get her into a vet to be seen and I need to get a roof over her head. She’s 12 years old and I love her so much and I feel so bad the way this all worked out. I’m asking for the bare minimum of $3000 but if I could get more I know we will need it because I haven’t made a car payment this past month and I don’t know the cost of what everything will add up to. His bless if you are able to help at all and still God bless even if you can’t. Thank you! This is my PayPal

For a dear Lady…

Hey there everyone.

First just let me say thank you for reading my request. I’m a proud woman and asking for help is very hard for me, even if it’s for someone else. You’ll understand if you read through. I’m a 65 year old retired floral designer and I’m almost totally disabled. I had to quit working for good in 2005. I’ve a list of ailments as long as your arm of health issues which have me bedridden 90% of the time. (I won’t bore you with the list.) I only leave the house once a month to go to my pain doctor and now and then to other doctors as well as a hospital visit occasionally. My mobility is very bad now and my primary Doc has wanted me to get a wheelchair for a couple of years now but I’ve been procrastinating. (I wouldn’t be able to use it in the house anyway unless every doorway was widened.) I use a walker away from home and do OK at home with my cane most days.

My husband is a 73 year old man with severe COPD and a spine full of arthritis. He’s a retired Marine with 25 years of service. From Vietnam to Desert Storm, he was there. He’s been to 80 countries! After the Corps he became a policeman for a few years then changed to the Sheriff’s Department. We met in 2000 while he was there. He was a cop for 12 years and retired again. He worked in Animal Control for 7 years as well. His mobility problems aren’t quite as bad as mine but he’s catching up to me fast. Plus on top of that, he can’t breathe.

With all our health problems we’ve needed quite a bit of help over time. We have a wonderful friend who used to be our neighbor. We met her through her 3 sons who were all our yard workers over their high school years. Each one as they went through the grades. Barbara, their mom started working for us cleaning the house a couple of times a month and doing extra chores and running errands sometimes. She’s honest, hard working, and dependable. She’s also a great friend. She’s partially disabled herself but manages around here ok. She’s also worked for other elderly people who needed personal care but lately her employers have been passing away. We’re all she has right now.

Four months ago Barbara’s boyfriend totaled her car driving to his first day at a new job. (He lost the job before he ever got there.) Barbara and he are quits and they lost their place since neither could afford the rent alone. He moved into an old, broken down van at his brother’s and Barbara came to us. She’s been offered several new old folks to care for but hasn’t been able to take the jobs because she doesn’t have a way to get there. We have only one vehicle ourselves and it’s 22 years old so it’s starting to dollar us to death. The hubby doesn’t want us without it in case we have an emergency. I’ve had several falls and each time I was hospitalized so he says we need it here. He’ll let her run to the store or the pharmacy for us because they’re less than 10 minutes away. She came to live with us 4 months ago and we’re giving her free room and board, I’m paying her phone bill (and have had to replace the thing when she’s broken it twice) and the hubby buys her cigarettes. She borrows money quite often but always pays it back or works it off.

Now finally I’ll get to the point. Having Barbara here to help us full time is wonderful because we both think the world of her and she’s doing dishes and laundry and other stuff we can’t easily do anymore but having an extra person in the house has done a number on our food bill, the power bill (it came today and was up over $80 from last month!), not to mention hubby’s always paying her for extra stuff he finds for her to do, like washing the vehicle or cleaning out the refrigerator. That sort of stuff. We can’t afford it. We’re getting overdrawn in both our banks for the past two months and it’s worse every time. Our savings are gone (there wasn’t that much anyway. The hubby loves to shop and the PX calls out to him…LOL)

If we could afford it we would loan Barbara enough money to buy a “new” used car but we simply don’t have it. We were living paycheck to paycheck before Barbara came and can’t afford to take out a loan. We’re already carrying a lot of debt. I took the cash value out of my life insurance two months ago to catch us up but it’s gone. We really need to get her some wheels so she can start taking more clients or get a job in town. If you folks could help out it would truly be a blessing. She’s a good person but has just fallen on a bad time financially and is dragging us down with her when all we wanted to do was help her out. We’d really appreciate anything you could spare. I know this is the worst time of year with the holidays coming up but you’ll be in all our prayers.

Thanks again!  Cathy

https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/Cathy6285

The hubby thinks she ought to be able to find a decent used car for about $10,000. Cars just cost so much nowadays that it sounds like a huge amount but it isn’t if you look at the price of used cars these days.

Life is not joyride

It’s not funny when everything in life falls apart.  My house of 16 years is foreclosing,  trying to figure out bankruptcy, while worrying about my children and little dog.  I need help with many things.    I have a M.D and I attended therapy 45 minutes away from my home two sometimes three days a week.  The ride system I use is not available to me.   I have found a therapist I connect with and a system that seems to work for me as I take on life.  I’m asking for 4 thousand dollars.  I do have a license and I think 4 thousand will get me a set up with a vehicle.    Thank you for your time  Becca.     My cash app is $Starzbjb

Help Us Give Our Granddaughter a Safe, Loving Home

Dear friends and community,

We are reaching out with humble hearts to ask for your support as we take steps to adopt our beloved granddaughter. Her mother, who is facing serious mental health challenges, has made the difficult decision to sign over custody so that her daughter can grow up in a stable, nurturing environment.

Our granddaughter deserves the chance to thrive in a safe and loving home. Adoption will allow us to provide her with the security, stability, and opportunities every child deserves. Unfortunately, the legal process comes with significant costs—court fees, legal representation, and required home studies—that we cannot cover alone.

We are asking for your help to raise the funds needed to complete this adoption. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to giving our granddaughter the permanent home she needs and deserves.

Your generosity will not only help us legally secure her future, but also ensure she grows up surrounded by love, care, and family.

Thank you for standing with us during this important journey.

With gratitude,

Mr. &Mrs Rice

Help see us through a very tight spot!

We own a family run sheet metal firm, we predominantly make cladding for buildings, in the UK since October 2023 the government bought in new legislation to make cladding safer (see Grenfell fire) however our cladding is not a fire hazard and BSR gateways (the new legislation) have created such long delays, we have tried to battle on without losing staff for over 2 years, we have diversified, tried to fill the whole left by the lack of cladding work and now it’s almost back we are in a very tight spot and could do with help from kind people so we can make it through to January 2026!!!

Please Help Me Save My Home and Care for My Mother

Hello there! My name is Marie, am I reaching out because I am going through the hardest moments of my life. My mother has stage 4 cancer and I had to leave my job to care for her and her needs. I am the one responsible for paying the mortgage, but since I stopped working to be by her side, I have fallen behind a lot of bills. I barely get any sleep because of her condition. Her very cries at night hurts me and I am trying my very best, but everything has become too much for me to handle on my own. Usually its me on here donating to others in need but as of right now I seem to be the one in need of the help. Since my mother has trouble sleeping at night because of her condition. I had a aide who comes seven nights a week to watch her through the night but I am the one who has to pay for this help. It costs $300 every night and I am failing to keep up.

Especially since my accident back on September 2024, I was involved in a major car accident along with my children. The doctors said I needed a major surgery, including a hip and femur replacement. They told me I have to stay home for 6 months to recover after the surgery, however I can’t because I have no savings and no else to take care for my mom at night. I am still in a lot of pain and depending on medication just to get through the day.

I’m at risk of losing my home. The Bank stated that if I don’t pay them $115,000 by Dec 1st, 2025 my home will be in foreclosure. At this very moment, I’m thinking what must I do because I don’t want to see my very mother and I along with my children out on the streets. I’m doing everything in my power and strength but it still isn’t enough. I have spent all my money on my mother and I don’t know how else to continue.

I even started a small business buying homes to fix and flip. However I use my business money to aid my mother and I currently owe a contractor money for working on this property. I owe him $500,000 and because of that the doors has been closed for 2 months. However, I don’t blame him. For I am currently working on one property but all my money has ran out. The home is unfinished and the door is locked and I do not have the necessary funds to complete it. This business was supposed to help me create a better life for my family but instead I am stuck with no resources left to move forward.

As of right now, I have no money to pay my mortgage, car insurance, or any of my household bills. My mortgage is roughly around $130,000 and my electric and gas bills together are close to $5,000. On top of that, my mother cannot sleep at all at night. Her stage 4 cancer gets worsening. I am alive by the grace of God but I cannot do this alone anymore. I am asking anyone who is willing and able to please help me. Any amount will make a difference, and if someone can bless me with $200,000 or more, it would truly save my life, my home, and my family.

Thank you so much for reading my story. May God bless you for your kindness, your compassion, and your support during this very tough and difficult time.

Family of 8 struggling to survive

Hello. I never in a million years thought I would be on here asking for money. I am the Husband/Dad of a big beautiful family of 8, we live in a small town that doesnt have a whole lot of opportunity but we try and make due. I am a small business owner and do ok with the small population and my wife is a school teacher, which of course doesnt ever pay what they deserve. Where things get tough is that we have 6 kids and 2 of them are not in school yet so I have to stay home with them most of the week due to there not being very many baby sitters in our town, We have 600 People here so as you can imagine not a lot of babysitters.  So I stay home and work when I can on weekends and evenings, but my job requires me to be outside in the daylight, I detail cars and pressure wash houses, so with that being said this time of year is a struggle since it gets dark so early. Im asking for help to get a few bills paid off to free up a couple hundred dollars a month . We have been on a debt free journey for a couple years now and really made progress over the summer when I could work more late evenings but lost progress when the days got shorter and also will be getting into the colder parts of the year when it will be to cold to be outside and money will really slow down. My wife puts in 120% at her job even taking on things that dont pay any extra to make sure the kids that need help get it and we just would really appreciate the assistance. If we could come up with 5000 dollars it would free up almost 500 a month in monthly payments. And really push our debt free journey to the next level . That may not sound like a lot but when feeding 6 kids that definitely makes a world of difference. We got caught up in the lie after we got married that debt is cool and having the new cars is great and we quickly realized that wasnt the way to go so we sold both new cars and got good used ones and haven’t had car payments in years now but its the leftover debt that still has a stranglehold on us and we try to put every extra dollar towards the debt to bring it down. Every payment we knock off feels like a huge victory but it gets very tough this time of year with Christmas and how much work I lose due to the freezing temps and short days. My wife really wants to start her own business aswell but with us so dependent on her income we just cant get that off the ground. The business in total would cost 250000 to get started and would do so well but we cant even entertain the idea of her trying to find avenues to do it with our current situation, but i know if we can get less dependant on her full income and make it to where mine is more able to keep us afloat by paying all our debt maybe we can find an investor willing to work with us. If anybody can help it would be amazing and we would be forever grateful.

Financial Assistance for Domestic Abuse Survivor

This past year has been a very difficult year financially, therefore I am seeking some help for rent and living expenses. I’m. A survivor from extremely narssistic abuse and I would like to have some wiggle room to get a better job that will be more sustaining and also build an online business. I also am a singer/songwriter and would love to also focus on that some day.  I have two young boys who are 3 and 4 and attend preschool. I am able to work part time during the week by door dashing. It’s been useful since I’m able to collect money on the spot and use on a daily basis living on survival mode, but it does not cover all of my living expenses.
The reason I have been so behind on my finances is because  I lost my job after leaving my abusive ex and father of my children. He ended up dislocating my clavicle and was eventually arrested. There’s now a restraining order in place and I am grateful he is out of my life. While I was dealing with the abuse and getting him out of my home I had a sales job with potential earnings of 6 figures that came to an end due to the office not having enough movement with my absence. Even with my injury I still did work when I could because I had to.
I’ve been able to seek assistance through victim services and local social programs but my funds for that have been used up. I also applied for a program called Paid Leave Oregon and Safe Leave Oregon but was denied due to being an independent contractor with the sales job and door dash job. I’m waiting for my appeal for that to come through but I’m not sure if it will be accepted. I have documentation of everything if anyone is needing to see the proof of my situation. My credit is poor and I have used pay day loans, pay in 4 loans, you name it. Asking for help here has become my last resort and I hope that someone is willing to bless me with the help I need.
If you have read my information this far, I really appreciate it and I will be forever grateful for any assistance you would be willing to provide me.

Kind Regards,

Kellie

Need help staying in home

Hi, this is the absolute last thing I would have ever have thought of doing but because of circumstances I have come here. We are a family of 4 with 2 children under the age of 10. I absolutely hate asking for money and go against everything in me but I need to ask. We are about 3 months late on the mortgage and are in danger of foreclosure. These were stupid mistakes on taking new loans one after another that now have piled up and make it very hard to breathe. We are looking for $13000 to be current on mortgage or $5000 by the end of the month to stop the foreclosure.

Please help us in our time of need and I promise to pay it forward as well. We are a religious family and would greatly appreciate it anything as the holidays are approaching. Again, thank you for reading this and God Bless.

Struggling to get back on my feet after moving states n leaving an abusive relationship.

It’s been a little over 2 months that I left Nevada to return to Cali after 6 years of living there. I lost my job due to Vegas being slow n got out of an abusive relationship of 5 years. I couldn’t take it anymore and moved back to Cali very sudden and unexpectedly. Since I got back I managed to get a job but didn’t work out due to boss not being able to pay on time and had to wait days or a week. So I quit I put in applications but just started working a new job. I didn’t work for 3 weeks n fell behind on my bills. I am currently living in my truck. A long time friend offered to help me out before coming back to Cali n it was all talk n just stayed with her about a week and she recently got intoxicated and beat me up n kicked me out for no reason. My face is swollen n bruised. So I didn’t go to work n I just started that job. Im trying to get back on my feet but it’s been hard dealing with one thing after another. I feel very overwhelmed because im trying my best to get back on track but haven’t been able to and I’m one payment behind on my truck which I don’t want to lose because that’s where I’m currently sleeping. I’m a very hard working person and independent but unfortunately had unexpected life circumstances.
I would truly appreciate the help. I’m not one to ask I usually figure things out on my own.

Emergency Request

My family and I are currently in danger of losing our house, as well as our business. My husband is a truck driver, and is our sole source of income at the moment. We have owned our truck for 6 years. Earlier this year, the suspension on our semi truck completely snapped. Seriously, it shattered. We had to rebuild the entire suspension, and take out a loan against our house to do it. Everything was fine, we were making payments on time.. until just two months after getting the truck back from the repairs.

My husband had a serious medical incident that required him to be transported to the ER via ambulance, be seen by half a dozen doctors, and he was home for months before he could be released back to work. Once he returned to work, we thought everything would be fine. We managed to postpone our loan payments by a couple months, and he was working, so it seemed good.

As soon as we felt like we were getting back on track, everything hit the fan. I had to have emergency surgery to remove my uterus, and nearly bled to death because my uterine tissue was so friable, and bled every time the surgeon touched it. We have four children (two adult children, two under 8), one of whom is severely disabled. I am her caregiver, so when my surgery was necessary, my husband had to be home to be caregiver to her instead. Just two weeks after my surgery, our disabled child had to have emergency surgery due to an intestinal rupture, as well as weekly infusions that we had to pay for out of pocket because our insurance wouldn’t approve them at the time. During her recovery, our water heater AND our stove went out and needed to be replaced. On top of all of that, just last week our son and daughter-in-law welcomed a beautiful baby into the world 10 weeks early, weighing just over 3 pounds.

It’s been a year that we could have never imagined. Now we owe an insane amount of money towards our truck loan payment because we had SO many things that had to be paid for in order for us to even survive that we just couldn’t keep up, and if we don’t pay them at least $12,000 by the end of the month, we’re going to lose both our house, as well as our truck – our source of income. We do not know where else to turn. We have no extended family, and no support system. We have no one to help with our youngest children in order for me to work, and my husband can not keep taking time off of work. We do not qualify for assistance in our area, and have exhausted every other option we can think of, including selling my husband’s personal vehicle, as well as many belongings.

Please, if there is anything you can do to help, we would be eternally grateful.

Goal: $12,000+

Deadline: November 30th, 2025
