Urgent Plea for Help – Seeking Justice for My Brother

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart, seeking your urgent support for a matter of great importance to my family and me.

My youngest brother has been undergoing a series of unexpected surgeries since his planned surgery on June 7, 2022. What was initially supposed to be a routine procedure has turned into a nightmare, with numerous complications and no clear answers from the hospital staff. We strongly suspect that something went wrong during the initial surgery, but the hospital refuses to acknowledge any mistakes.

Throughout this challenging journey, my brother has faced critical situations, and our family has been enduring immense stress and uncertainty. We cannot bear to see him suffer any longer. To add to our distress, he recently celebrated his second birthday in the confines of the hospital, battling depression as he yearns for a return to a normal life.

In our pursuit of justice for my brother, we have decided to consult with medical lawyers to investigate the circumstances surrounding his prolonged hospitalization. Unfortunately, legal assistance comes at a cost, and we find ourselves in a financial predicament. This is where your generosity and support become crucial.

We are humbly requesting your assistance in raising USD 4200, which will cover the expenses of hiring a lawyer to investigate and advise us on the legal aspects of this situation. Your contribution will not only help us seek justice for my brother but also alleviate the financial burden on our family during this challenging time.

Any amount you can contribute will make a significant difference, and we will be forever grateful for your kindness and compassion. Together, we can strive for the truth and ensure that no medical negligence has occurred in my brother’s case.

Thank you for taking the time to read our plea. Your support means the world to us, and we appreciate any assistance you can provide.

With sincere gratitude,

I am working as an Accountant and whatever I earn, most part goes to my mother’s treatment. I need help from you all to cover her surgery. Help Semih Overcome Financial Hardship

Hello,

My name is Semih Yavuz, and I am reaching out for your support during a challenging time in my life. I am 33 years old, married, and currently living in San Diego. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I find myself in a difficult financial situation with significant credit card debts.

The past year has been particularly tough as the COVID-19 pandemic impacted my job, making it difficult to meet financial obligations. Despite facing these challenges, I continued to provide financial assistance to my mother, who was unwell and needed medical support. Additionally, my wife is unable to work due to health issues, requiring an expensive surgical procedure that we cannot currently afford.

I lost my job during the economic instability caused by the pandemic, but I didn’t give up. I took on delivery jobs to make ends meet. However, with the responsibilities of taking care of my wife and mother, along with the expenses of renting a place, the financial strain has become overwhelming. Even though I’ve recently found a new job at a company producing e-bikes, the earnings are not enough to cover my mounting credit card debts.

My total credit card debt is close to $40,000, and the minimum payments have become unmanageable. I am working hard in San Diego, but the burden of these debts is hindering my ability to provide a better life for the two important women in my life – my wife and my mother.

I am reaching out to seek your support in a fundraising campaign to alleviate the financial pressure on my family. Your contribution will not only help me clear my credit card debts but will also enable me to provide a brighter future for the two women who depend on me.

I appreciate your time and consideration. Thank you for being a source of hope during these challenging times.

Sincerely,
Semih Yavuz

Polycythemia Vera (liquid cancer)

Life was pretty good until I was diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera, cancer of the blood.  Life changed financially,  physically, emotionally and psychologically. At the age of 58,  a routine blood draw began a journey like nothing I had ever experienced. My doctor was straight forward with me, telling me I was a walking heart attack/stroke waiting to happen.  My blood was too thick, counts were off the charts and the doctor straight up told me she thought I had cancer.  A bone marrow biopsy confirmed her suspicion. I’m having a difficult time coping and need psychological help.  Insurance only pays a certain amount and I’m struggling trying to pay medical bills on top of my regular bills.  This condition is manageable with the right prescriptions, and the average life expectancy is about 15 years.  Prior to the diagnosis I had been having issues with poor kidney and liver functions which are part of the PV blood symptoms. As a widow, I was already struggling financially prior to the medical expenses.  I’m scared that this cancer will advance rapidly and I’m afraid of the outcome.  I’d like to be a part of a study group since PV blood is a rare disorder, hopefully I can help make a difference for others in the future.  Unfortunately, the extra financial strain may prevent me from even trying to see if I’m a candidate for the study.  Any help will be a blessing.

Help with cancer treatment

My husband was diagnosed with a rare form of dedifferentiated metastasized sarcoma, he has a tumor behind his heart the size of a grapefruit, and another tumor under his chin. His doctor referred him for a clinical study that has two groups. Group one is taking Ibrance, and group two takes Ibrance and an infusion of another drug together. My husband was placed in group one, and we assumed since it is a clinical trial, the Ibrance would be covered.

Upon picking up the Ibrance, we were told his copay is $1,700 and we were shocked. The pharmacist let us take it home and we have six weeks to pay for it after putting $200 down. Our insurance requires we pay $4,000 or so to hit our deductible before it will cover everything. If we cannot afford to stay in the trial, he will be offered standard of care chemo, and his odds of survival will go down dramatically. Ibrance has a 55% rate of improvement whereas standard chemo has only a 29% rate. The doctor told us that the standard chemo would extend his life by “months but not a year”.

Please help us pay for his prescription and if you cannot help us financially, please pray for him. I am the only one taking care of him and I am working full time just to cover the rate hike from PG&E, the car payments, insurance, mortgage, etc., we have nobody to help us. The prices of cancer treatments should be accessible to all, it should be illegal to charge so much for life saving drugs.

Please help me keep my husband around a little longer and I wish you love, peace, and blessings of abundance. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Dad has Dementia and I am in Massive Debt

As a loving and devoted daughter, I am reaching out to you for support during one of the most challenging times of my life. My father, who has recently been diagnosed with dementia, is in desperate need of 24/7 care. Despite my best efforts, his insurance has denied him the necessary rehabilitation and nursing home services, leaving him in a regular hospital. It has taken an immense emotional toll to see him in this condition, and it’s compounded by my own struggles with depression and anxiety.

I find myself in a difficult financial situation, having lost my job over 6 months ago and accumulating over $80,000 in debt while trying to make ends meet, even paying rent in my old apartment with credit cards. I am actively seeking employment and have upcoming interviews, but the burden of this debt is hindering my ability to move forward and provide the care and support my father needs.

Your generous donation could make a world of difference, allowing me to focus on rebuilding my life and being there for my father and family, which includes a 13-year-old daughter, without the weight of crippling debt. Your support would not only help me start anew but also provide the care and attention my father deserves during this challenging time.

Please consider contributing to my cause and helping us through this difficult journey. Your kindness and generosity will make a tangible impact on our lives, and we will be forever grateful for your support. Thank you for considering our story and for any assistance you can provide.

I want my life back, my family wants their father back. THIS IS MY LAST CHANCE

Today, I reach out with a story that goes beyond my personal struggle, touching the lives of those I cherish most. My journey into addiction began unsuspectingly with a prescription for opioids, a decision that unknowingly set me on a path filled with challenges and heartache.

In my decade-long battle, I’ve managed to uphold a semblance of normalcy for my family, but the reality is far more complex and painful. The deepest cut of this ordeal is the impact on my family. My wife feels she has lost the partner she once knew, and the thought of my addiction shadowing my children’s future is unbearable. I imagine missing out on life’s most precious moments – not being there to walk my daughter down the aisle, to witness her transform into a beautiful woman, or missing the chance to guide my son, to teach him how to navigate life with honor and integrity.

I’ve tirelessly tried to break free from this addiction through traditional recovery methods, including 12-step programs and medicated treatments. Yet, these methods have shown disheartening success rates, with MAT programs having only a 3% success rate. They felt more like temporary fixes, a far cry from the deep, lasting change I so desperately seek.

This is where Ibogaine treatment becomes a beacon of hope. Unlike traditional methods, Ibogaine offers a staggering 70% success rate. It’s more than just numbers; the countless testimonials speak of profound transformation and renewed lives. This treatment isn’t just a remedy; it’s a chance to reclaim my life, to ensure I’m there for the milestones, the laughter, and the tears in my family’s journey.

However, the path to this life-altering treatment is costly, amounting to $12,500. This figure is beyond our family’s reach, but it represents a vital investment in our future. This is why I am turning to you, with hope and humility, asking for your support. Your generosity can provide me with the opportunity to break free from the chains of addiction and be present for the countless precious moments yet to come in my family’s life.

I understand the magnitude of this request and do not take your kindness lightly. If you feel moved by my story, any contribution, whether financial, sharing my story, or offering words of encouragement, would be invaluable. Your support has the power to change the course of my life and ensure a brighter, more present future for me and my family.

Thank you for taking a moment to hear my story. Your generosity and compassion can truly make a life-changing difference.

With heartfelt thanks,

RB

Help Me To Feel Good About Me!

Medical Necessity

I have been fighting to get healthy all my life.

Listing all the accomplishments is a bittersweet journey in my life.

I researched and cured all my horrible skin diseases (Acne, Psoriasis, Shingles) early in my life holistically.

The weight gain was and still is a battle, but I am not obese. I walk at least 4 miles a day and have been for over 3 years now. This is not easy because I had a massive Stroke 2015 and have been managing Multiple Sclerosis for over 30 years. Add poverty to the challenge! I couldn’t afford walking sneakers, good supportive bra, sunscreen, etc.

As a result of all the above, I have chronic back pain! All the loose skin hangs and drags me down. It exacerbates my incontinence, balance, endurance level. and lowers my self-esteem, motivation,

My neurologists, primary physician, gyn and chiropractor, have all hinted that abdominoplasty ($8-10,000) has indeed helped some of their patients.

My God, I can’t afford good walking shoes/sneaker, or a good supportive bra, how can I get that surgery?

I need help! Please help me to stay motivated to keep walking. I have so many supporters telling me how I inspire them. That makes me cry with joy!

I want to keep active and be the best person mentally, physically and spiritually I can be.

Sincerely Hopeful,

Maggie Gaines

Help us Overcome Medical Financial Hardship

Hello, everyone,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out to you today because our family is facing a challenging situation that was never anticipated. A series of unexpected medical issues have thrown our lives into turmoil, and we find ourselves in desperate need of your support.

A few months ago, my husband and I were diagnosed with health conditions that have turned our lives upside down. Initially I had a hernia surgery that required a log stay in the hospital, weekly office visits due to a drain placed in my abdomen. I also recently completed 30 days into mental health rehab to get new medications and learn coping mechanisms for my job as a 911 dispatcher. My husband had rotator cuff shoulder surgery that was determined not to be work related. As you can imagine these conditions have required extensive medical treatments, two surgeries, and ongoing therapies. The associated medical bills have started piling up, leaving us in a situation of significant financial hardship. We have drained our savings and only have my husband’s short-term disability check to barely cover monthly rent and utilities.

We have always been fiercely independent people and never imagined we would be in a position where I needed to ask for help. However, the mounting medical expenses, coupled with the loss of income due to our inability to work during recovery, have left us with no other option but to turn to the generosity of friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals like you. In addition to the afore mentioned surgeries and therapies my husband s colon cancer though in remission still requires biennial colonoscopies, semiannual CT scans, and regular oncology appointments that we currently can’t afford.

Your generous contributions will go a long way in helping us cover my medical bills, prescription costs, and essential living expenses during this challenging time. No donation is too small, and every dollar will make a meaningful difference in my life. We understand that not everyone can donate, and that’s completely okay. Your moral support, sharing this campaign with your network, and offering words of encouragement mean just as much to us.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of our journey to recovery.

Stage 3

December 5th, the dreaded phone call “you have stage 3 metastatic breast cancer”.
my daughters tiny 3 year old hands wrapping around my neck, my 8 and 9 year old sons sitting at the table with their dad as he tries to explain this in a way that makes sense. I’m not special to anyone in particular except my family, I’m not the first or last person that will have cancer. I’ve never been the type to ask for anything, I’ve always handled it myself but this time I can’t. I need help, I need to make sure my kids are taken care of while I go through this. I’m asking for help because they need me, you don’t need me but they do. My daughter will need me to brush her beautiful auburn hair, to teach her how to tie her shoes, to hold her hand when she walks into kindergarten for the first time. My 8 year old son will need me in the stands cheering him on at his football games, to show him how to be a compassionate human being, to stay up way too late eating junk food on Saturday nights. My 9 year old needs me to help build Lego sets with him on Friday nights, to help him with his first heartbreak, to be there in the quiet times when life seems to be a lot and we just lay on our trampoline looking at the stars.

I can’t wrap my head around them leading a life without me, I’m choosing to fight and come out of this stronger than before. I need help with bills that will inevitably be piling up, I need my husband to take some time off of work to help with the kids during my appointments. If you’ve read this far I appreciate that more than you can imagine, and at least I’ve gotten this off my chest.

Hardworking American Needing a help up. To help others.

I’ve worked hard all of my life, never needing anything at all, and usually helping people along the way, because it was the right thing to do. I’ve provided food and money to a great many military personnel, including family and friends if they ever needed food, as it seems that the system has forgot them. There are lots of them everywhere, lot’s of our men and women on the streets.  Over the past few years, I have unfortunately been an attendance at no less than 8 deaths and each time, pitching in and helping out to the best that I could. I suffered a bad fall which left me partially paralyzed from my legs down. , doing roofing work and received just temporary disability, which eventually ran out. I’ve been in pain and unable to work.  So, I thought for that first time in my life, I would ask for Full Disability Claims through the SSI, so I went on line filled out the forms and patiently waited.  It took them about two weeks to get back in touch with me, so they (SSI) scheduled an appointment for me.  The next week, I went to my appointment with all the documents that they had asked for concerning my Disability Claim.  So there I am setting in the chair being asked all these questions and answering to the best of my ability.  The SSI interviewer gets up for a moment to go make a copy of some of my paperwork and I can clearly hear another person in the background asking my interviewer if he could take a call. He says, “I am working on a client at the moment”, Whomever, he was speaking seemed agitated in their voice. It was a women’s voice. She, then said. “We’ll nobody get approved the first time”! I guess they figured, that I wasn’t in close enough proximity to hear this. My interviewer returned back, and I just remember thinking to myself. “My God, I already know that SSI will deny my claim, no matter what I do or no matter, what I say. I felt totally defeated.  I just continued on with the SSI Disability Claim interview, as if I didn’t hear a THING. It just made me feel sad, that the system is broken and that they don’t really care. I am sure there are a few whom do, but the system itself, tells them to deny, deny, deny.

I left that SSI Disability and acted if everything would be alright. Another two weeks go by and I get a notice in the mail. I open up the SSI notice and it tells my to go on online to secure.ssa.gov, which I do. It them tells me that we have received your Disability Claims and that we are reviewing it.  It then in bold letters ” Your Review will take 9 Months”!  I am totally defeated,   I guess they want us to go homeless, before they deny us the first time around.  I am just needing a little help keeping the lights on, is all I am asking, since SSI Administration doesn’t want to help American’s anymore.  Thank you for your prayers and thanks, to all who have helped me. I will share also with others whom need help as well. God Bless America. AJ

My lung Spontaneously Collapsed last week

Hello there, I’m Daniel, but you might know me as DeeJus or DJ. I’m here to share a bit of a twist in my tale, something I never saw coming. It’s about how a regular guy like me ended up in a bit of a pickle, health-wise, and why I’m reaching out.

So, picture this: It’s January 5th, 2024. Just another day, right? I’m doing my thing at work, nothing out of the ordinary. But then, there’s this nagging pain in my back and neck, and breathing’s getting tough. I’m thinking, ‘Ah, it’s nothing, just a bad night’s sleep or maybe I lifted something wrong.’ You know how it is, we always think we’re invincible.

But as the day rolls on, it’s not getting any better. I’m there, trying to do my job, but it’s like my body’s putting up a fight. Finally, I admit defeat, something I’m not used to doing, and head home early. I try the usual – soup, juice, hoping it’s just a bug I can shake off. But no dice.

Night comes, and I’m in bed, but sleep’s playing hard to get. Every time I drift off, I wake up gasping like a fish out of water. That’s when it hits me – this is serious. So, there I am, in an Uber in the middle of the night, heading to the ER. Not exactly how I planned to spend my evening.

The hospital’s a blur of lights and faces. They get me in, run some tests, and bam – they hit me with the news. Spontaneous pneumothorax, they call it. Sounds fancy, right? It’s a collapsed lung, plain and simple. And just like that, I’m in a hospital bed, tube in my chest, thinking about how quickly life can flip upside down.

Four days I’m stuck in there, and now twelve more off work, trying to get back on my feet. But here’s the kicker – the bills don’t stop coming, and neither does the rent. So, I’m reaching out, hat in hand, asking for a bit of help to get through this rough patch. Lost wages, medical bills – they add up fast. And to top that all off, I was just about to qualify for Health Insurance through my workplace!

I’m not one for charity, but sometimes, you’ve got to swallow your pride and ask for a hand. Anything you can spare, it’ll mean the world to me. Thanks for hearing me out – it’s not just the money, but knowing there are folks out there who care, that really makes a difference.
