I am trying ketamine infusion for treatment resistant depression (there are plenty of studies supporting it but not covered by insurance). I’ve tried so many things from medication, life changes, etc. My symptoms have been worsening over the past two years and I’m struggling to enjoy any part of life. It’s giving me an awful, hard-t0-understand mental pain. I am basically living paycheck to paycheck. I had just enough saved for 6 infusions over 3 weeks (the recommended dose), but my car unexpectedly needed over $3000 in repairs this week. I have paid for the first 2 infusions but will be running out of money soon. I don’t get my next paycheck for two weeks and that will still leave me $200 short to pay for the infusions after the car payments wiped out my savings. I have rent due, other financial stresses. I am concerned I won’t be able to complete the full regimen of 6 infusions and will be stuck with ever worsening symptoms. I would greatly appreciate any help. The infusions are $500 each but I also have to pay about $40 in uber fees because it’s not safe to drive the day of the treatment. I have noticed some improvement after the second infusion and hopeful I will get better. However, it will completely mess up the treatment if I don’t do the next 4 infusions within a two week period. I have to come up with $2160 in the next two weeks to make it work. I would have waited to save more had I known my car would break down. I need my car to get to work, etc. Does not appear any friends/family can lend even close to what I need. Cash app jbs1032
