Help with life after helping someone left me with a gunshot through my spinal cord

Hello, I am currently asking for help. I am not the type of person who usually asks for help. I am usually the person who helps. I’ve always had to do things myself my whole life. Never had any handouts. I was born into a family of poverty so I know what it’s like to do without or be told no when in need of help so I’ve struggled with asking knowing the feeling I gives you when denied but this time it’s different. On the night of January 27, a group of men dressed in black came out of nowhere and tried to rob a elderly lady. They were brutally attacking her. I grabbed my gun and ran to help her. I found myself in a fight with 4 men who were getting the best of me. I reached for my gun and that’s when my life changed. One of them shot me. The bullet severed my spinal cord in two. I layed there knowing I was dying and knowing I was paralyzed. That’s when everything turned white. I woke up 3 weeks later in the ICU with machines pumping air into my lungs and I looked to my side and there was my mom. I couldn’t help but to start to cry. I had just turned 22. I had two daughters at the time. One 7 and the other almost 1. What would my life come to. I had a million questions in my head. While in my face everyone saying it was going to be okay. Stuff like that you want to believe and you hold onto. And I’m angry and sad because everything is not okay. I’m struggling. In all parts of my life. Financially, mentally, physically, emotionally, and health. All are crushing me and I cannot keep up. My disability pays $847 a month and that barely covers my bills let alone what my kids need. Im asking.. if there’s anyone out there.. anyone who could help me and my two daughters I would greatly appreciate it

*Help Husam and His Family Rebuild Their Lives**

*Dear Supporters,**

My name is Husam, a 69-year-old pharmacist from Gaza. The ongoing war has stripped me of my job, my two apartments, my car, and all my life savings. I am now living in a tent with my wife, my son, his wife, and their three young children, aged 3, 6, and 12. We are in desperate need of your support to survive until we can return to our home in Gaza.

Life has become unbearable. For the past 14 months, we have had no electricity, no water supply, and the infrastructure around us is in ruins. Our tent is lit and our mobiles are charged solely by a solar system. We are facing starvation, poor medical services, and a severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies. There are no schools, no colleges, no opportunities for study or learning. Every day is a struggle, and we are living by the mercy of Allah.

We are living in constant fear and panic due to the continuous shooting, shelling, and bombardment. The situation is dire, and the scarcity of food has made it extremely expensive and difficult to obtain.

We are in desperate need of support to sustain ourselves until we are allowed to return to our city. Your assistance would be a lifeline for us in these difficult times, enabling us to survive and rebuild our lives.

In simple terms, all the basics of life are destroyed. We are suffering and agonizing every minute of our daily lives. I have spent all the money I had, and we are now in dire need of your help and support.

Any help you can provide, no matter how small, would make a significant difference for us. We deeply appreciate your kindness and generosity.

Your contributions will enable us to survive this challenging time and rebuild our lives. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in our lives.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

**With gratitude,**
Husam

An Unemployed Father Seeking Opportunity

I’m Edi Cossio, a 48-year-old living in Colombia. Since April 26, I’ve been unemployed after losing my job due to the economic crisis impacting my country. My company had to terminate contracts for over 48 employees due to a lack of tech projects. I’ve applied to more than 47 positions, but finding work in Colombia after turning 40 is incredibly challenging.

I live with my wife and our 6-year-old daughter. Thanks to my wife’s dedication, we’ve been able to cover our mortgage and basic expenses. Meanwhile, I’ve started a small digital marketing business, but it’s still struggling to generate sufficient income. To make ends meet, we’ve had to take loans from relatives and banks totaling $5,000.

Today, I’m reaching out to the kindness of those willing to help us. Your contribution can help us pay off these debts, easing the financial strain and giving us the chance to rebuild our stability. Any donation, no matter how small, will bring us closer to a brighter future.

Help Me Find a Home and Start a New Life in Australia

PayPal:

https://paypal.me/kristysoliman?country.x=AU&locale.x=en_AU

Hi, my name is Adam, and I’m 24 years old. Six months ago, I made the biggest decision of my life. I left everything I knew behind and moved to Australia, searching for a fresh start and a brighter future. I came here full of hope, dreaming of building a life where I could stand on my own two feet and create something meaningful.
But life hasn’t unfolded the way I imagined.
I arrived with little more than my suitcase and a heart full of determination. I thought I could find my footing quickly, but the reality of starting over in a new country has been far harder than I ever anticipated. I’m now in a place I never thought I’d be—homeless, alone, and struggling to make it through each day.
Every day is a battle just to find a safe place to sleep, something to eat, and a way to keep moving forward. Nights are the hardest—cold, uncertain, and filled with questions I don’t have answers to. I’ve tried so hard to make things work, but no matter how much effort I put in, I feel like I’m falling further behind.
I never thought I’d have to ask for help like this, but I’m reaching out because I believe in the kindness and generosity of others. I just need a chance—a helping hand to lift me up and give me the opportunity to get back on my feet.
I want to find a place to call home, even if it’s just a small room where I can feel safe. I want to find work, so I can start building the life I dreamed of when I came here. And I want to regain the sense of hope and possibility that brought me to Australia in the first place.
Your support would mean the world to me. It would mean I can sleep somewhere safe tonight. It would mean I can eat without worrying where my next meal will come from. It would mean I have the chance to rebuild my life and start creating a future I can be proud of.
I know times are tough for so many people, and it’s not easy to give. But if you can find it in your heart to help—even just a little—it would change my life. I’m not asking for a miracle. I’m just asking for a chance to start again.
Thank you for reading my story. Thank you for caring. And thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for helping me take the first steps toward a better tomorrow.

Best friends sister died from cancer

Hey there. My best friend’s sister has passed from stage 4 metastatic breast cancer at the age of 35. This has left behind her young age daughter to now be in my best friend’s care. This also left behind a mortgage payment for a house that still hasn’t sold. The child’s “father” is involved and shows about once a month but is no financial help. On top of that, was the funeral costs,  and whatever will be left after insurance chooses what to cover and not, she was a veteran but we know health care even from the VA is garbage. This is a huge financial burden on my friends, she’s in slow season for her job and is now financially caring for a child(that she loves but didn’t choose to have) and any remaining bills and expenses her sister has left behind. She sent me a Snapchat last night about being sick, and that she can’t take the time off because she needs the money because the mortgage alone is $2k more a month. She’s picked up a second job for winter, but I just feel so helpless there isn’t a way I can save her from this. There was a funding account but that disappeared so quickly, that she’s once again drowning. I’ve never done something like this, but if I can even help her financially just a little bit I really would love to. She is such a kind caring human and deserves the world, and this child does even more so. To lose her mother at 2 may not be a hardship she even kind of knows now, but she will feel it through her entire life and I just want it to not include a financial hardship as well. Thank you if you’ve made it this far. I want to surprise her with this, and all funds will go to her and the child. Anything and everything is greatly appreciated.

A single mom of two very young boys struggling to buy food or pay our bills.

julz8719  is my cash app name.

A mom of two boys,. One is 2 years old and the other 8 years old. I have a part time job as a Personal Care Provider. I was in an abusive marriage that I had to get out of. Ever since I left my ex husband. Life has been a struggle for my kids and I. We don’t have money for personal needs because whatever money I get from my part time job pays our bills and what we can afford. My one child has asthma really bad that requires me to buy his inhaler and medicine. Which is 300 dollars for the medicine. We don’t have insurance and I have been desperately trying to find more hour at work but I also have custody agreement that I go by. So it hurts me for more hours at work. Anytime I don’t work I’m with my children. We literally have cried nights and days going to bed praying to god to help us not struggle anymore and to be able to make our bills and rent. We cry because we want things that we need but I don’t have money to get those things we need. It’s embarrassing and frustrating and truly heartbreaking. I am desperately trying every single day to make a difference and to be able to provide for my children with a positive attitude about life. But it is truly so hard to do, when I watch my children pain and my pain for our unfortunate struggles. This Christmas I will not be able to get them gifts and it breaks my heart. I am trying to figure out how to at least get them one or two gifts. But bills come first and that’s all I can afford until I get lucky and find a full time job with hours that work with my children’s custody agreement. If there’s any miracles out there or anyone that feels my pain. Please make our wishes come true. We are in serious need of help but do not know how to access any kind of help. This is my last resort for any help from this world and universe. Hear my call. Thank you

sincerely,

J

BAD STUFF THATS HAPPENED TO ME

You could not make it.  A series of calamities has hit my life this year. I am an ex lawyer. I live by myself.

6 months ago I had a good business. Now I have nothing. I have been  duped by a con man. My Regulator has suspended my license to practice. I have debts that this con man has saddled me with. I face potential bankruptcy proceedings. I have no funds left.

And the ironic part of all this tale of disaster is I have been looking for a partner for some  years to share my  life with. And amongst all the wreckage of the last year  I finally found one. We talk daily. she lives in Scotland. She wants to fly to me. Out of all this disaster I have found the love of my life.

I have lent her money in the past when I had some as I helped her through her nursing exams. Her mother died several months ago. And after that she discovered that her mother through her father left her a substantial legacy  that we knew nothing about that is secured in Canada. We have raised funds for the tax to release  this asset but not enough . If it is released all my life’s problems and hers would be solved in a flash. The security company that hold her legacy need a deposit to pay tax. She and I and her family cousins through personal sacrifice have raised most of the money but we are just £2000.00 short of the deposit payment to release her legacy. I do not have a Paypal account as it is in arrears and has been suspended. If you respond to this email I can reply and supply bank details for your donation . And I promise you that will be repaid once the asset has been released by the shortfall balance that is needed. So I please ask for your help in this. Thank you.

Urgent Assistance Needed for Car Repairs and Family Necessities

Dear Kind Hearts,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart in hopes of finding support during a challenging time. As a single parent of two beautiful children, I strive to provide them with a loving and stable home, but lately, life has thrown us more obstacles than I can handle.

I am a type 1 diabetic, which adds another layer of financial strain as I manage my health alongside my family’s needs. My children, who are both in need of glasses, also require food, clothing, and other essentials. Despite my tireless efforts to work and make ends meet, I find myself struggling to keep up with the mounting costs of everyday living.

As the cold weather approaches, my situation has become even more urgent. My car, which is essential for getting to work and taking care of my children, is in dire need of repairs. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to afford the necessary fixes, leaving us without heat in the car and unable to renew my registration. To make matters worse, I have failed emissions testing for almost two years, which adds to the stress of keeping my family safe and warm.

I am humbly asking for any financial assistance to help cover the costs of my car repairs and to provide for my children’s basic needs. Your generosity would not only help us in this moment of crisis but would also give us hope for a brighter future. Every little bit makes a difference, and I would be incredibly grateful for your support.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story, and for considering helping our family during this difficult time.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Mini

Things have piled up!

Despite facing some really difficult times in our past 7 years together we would find a way through. It seemed like at the very last moment, when all hope seemed to be lost, someone would show up with exactly what we needed to make those ends meet. And from there we could take what little bit of help that came our way and we were back in the race. I must admit, that our survival every time was almost solely due to the hard work of my boyfriend who honestly, has worked magic with the little we have had. Together, we are fighters, we have clawed our way back from places 99% of people just can’t come back from. Both of us were homeless prior to meeting but since getting together we have lived at the same apartment since July 2nd, 2018. We have found strength in one another during times of self-doubt, we have found a way,  even if we had to pave the path ourselves and we have fought fair even when everyone around us was doing the opposite. We have weathered every storm…until now.

Tonight, this straw has officially broken the camel’s back. If we can’t find a kind person to give us a hand, we will drown.

Back to 2021, my boyfriend was taken to the hospital because of stomach cramps and within 35 minutes of being admitted he was on life support. He had an oxygen level of 72 when the average healthy adult’s oxygen levels usually fall between 95-100. I was told had he of fallen asleep that night he would’ve passed away in his sleep. He would’ve suffocated to death.

Come to find out, he had blood clots in his legs that had traveled to his lungs and 2 weeks after being admitted to the ER a scan revealed  over 40 clots between both lungs. To add insult to injury, literally, due to not being moved his first week on life support he had contracted a bad case of pneumonia along with a large pocket of fluid under his left arm pit. He spent 2 more weeks in the ICU before they told us he needed to be put back on life support because they had been successful in getting source control. Basically, they couldn’t stop his body from shutting down despite putting him through the misery of inserting 3 chest tubes between his ribs to drain the fluid. So he was back on life support for another 8 days. For 22 days he had those tubes in his back! Finally, he was released from the hospital on his 47 day and we couldn’t have been happier. Little did we know our fight had just begun…Which brings us to where I am now. 3 years, 2 more pneumonia episodes, 1 type 2 diabetes diagnosis, 1 shoulder surgery, 1 stolen antique, and 1 broken deep freezer later, writing this campaign in my pajamas on our basement stairs, after helping clean up 20lbs ( literally 20lbs) of meat and other good food gone bad, after our deep freezer broke this morning. I am begging any kind person who can help to please help us.We need money for groceries, our food stamps are already used up and since the majority of our food was in the deep freezer, I am afraid if we can’t find a way to get groceries until the beginning of January what will happen. We go to the local food banks but losing this amount of food is devastating.

To make ends meet we get vintage and antique items from estate sales, auctions, yard sales etc… Clean and fix them up to resell online through my Ebay account. In July an Ebay customer of ours scammed us out of an $750 vintage Geiger Chatham Scintillation Radiation Detector Counter (Model SC-102). Then, as if losing this extremely rare and super expensive piece wasn’t enough, Ebay turned around and put my Ebay account $721 in the negative so I basically couldn’t sell anything since I couldn’t pay for shipping costs. 5 days after all of this happened Ebay then tried to take that money from my Chase Bank account. This resulted in 2 overdraft fees at $34 each and a $35 returned check fee for one of my credit card payments that bounced due to my account being in the negative. I opened a fraud case with the local police, contacted Ebay and Fed-ex and opened fraud cases with them, I even contacted the BBB. I got no traction with anyone!! Everyone kept passing the buck and to make matters worse the item I had for sale (Which was extremely unique, it was even in the Smithsonian Journal) is being resold on Ebay as we speak!! I told Ebay, they have done nothing! we got my ebay account in good standing but all other bills have become late, I have also had to take out two loans just for food and toilet paper etc.

Like the 2010 Ford truck we bought at the end of the spring. It wasn’t taken care of at all by the previous owner. But it has worked really good until this week it has begun to idle very low, so I made an appointment with Ford to find out what’s going on in the  18th of December. Things we KNOW that are needed on the truck that have been put off: new wheel on the back passenger side, a new windshield, new brakes and rotors, 4 tires as ours are bald and a diagnostic test to find out the reason behind the check engine light being on.

My monthly check is barely enough to cover our rent, not to mention all our other bills. My boyfriend is in the middle of applying for disability due to his lungs being so badly scarred he can’t breathe to work.

Is there anyone out there that could help us get back on our feet? We will take grocery food cards, gift cards to get our car worked on at our Ford Dealership (Can give the specific info just contact me), and any other help that you can provide if it helps us accomplish these goals. I have proof of Ebay scam, the overdraft amounts, the loans for groceries and necessities. I have researched the prices of everything listed. We wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t desperately needed. Thanks so much for your patience in reading all of this and thanks so much for helping in any way.

All in all we need $3,383 to get back on our feet.  I can give more details, proof and pictures for anyone who needs them. Thanks so much for reading!

Need to help my loving wife

Hello all,

I’m very much in need of helping my beloved wife get out of debt. She was previously married and her ex-husband opened several credit cards in her name without her knowledge, which she is required to pay.  She is over $18,000 in debt as a result of this. She also has a lot of health issues and goes to the doctor a lot, and even some ER visits. She’s so wonderful to me, but the debt has really taken a toll on our relationship and our marriage. I want nothing more than to help her out of it. My financial situation is not great either. Our house is in poor condition and I’m struggling to afford the payments for my new roof. It’s a 10-year loan with a deadly 12.9% interest rate. Also have some foundation issues with many cracks in the basement walls and I’m very worried and have no emergency funds.

Urgent Request, Help Rebuild My Furniture Business and Save My Premises

Dear Donors, Kind Supporters

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing with a very humble and sincere request for your help in the revitalization of my furniture business, which has been seriously affected by the economic crisis in Sri Lanka and its consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. My business, once providing jobs to more than 20 people, unfortunately faced certain setbacks, and I am in a really tough financial situation. it is now standing at the brink of collapse. I am in urgent need approximately $85,000 to save my business from disintegration Your support—whether full or partial—will make a significant difference in restoring my business, paying off outstanding loans, and protecting my business premises from foreclosure

The economic downturn in Sri Lanka, aggravated by the global disruptions of the pandemic, led to an unprecedented drop in sales, considerably hampering my effort in meeting the operational costs and servicing business loans. During this trying period, I was also required to confront the personal tragedy of my father being diagnosed with cancer. I turned out to be his chief carer and used up my savings to try to provide him with the best available treatment. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, my father passed away, leaving me both emotionally and financially drained.

As my business struggled to survive amidst these challenges, my loans began to fall into arrears, and before long, all of them were classified as non-performing. With the downturn in my business, my creditworthiness suffered, and I was unable to secure any further financial support from banks or lenders. Because of this, I had no choice but to scale down operations. What was once a busy furniture business with upwards of over 20 employees now operates with only two employees.

Today, I am seeking financial assistance in the amount of $85,000 to revitalize my business venture into furniture. With this money, I can pay off old debts, restock my materials, and buy appropriate inventory to restart the businesses. Your generosity would enable me to employ more people, reinstate the production line, and get back the much-needed jobs in my community. My business has always been a source of livelihood for many, and with your help, I can bring it back to life.

The funds will be used to clear overdue debts, replenish furniture materials and supplies, and cover the basic operational costs required to restart production. I am committed to making my business a success again, creating employment opportunities, and contributing positively to the local economy. Without this assistance, I fear that my business may not be able to recover.

I know this is a big ask, but I feel like, with your help, I can get my business back up and running, jobs restored, and new opportunities created. Anything counts, no matter how little, to make a great difference for me to get back on my feet. I am very grateful for your consideration and hope for your kind assistance in this time of need.

Thank you for reading my story. I know that with your support, I can rise again and be of help in the recovery of my community.
