I am a mother of 3 who has fallen behind on my bills and I need some help for Christmas for my children.

I have worked for the same company for 4 years and the first 2 1/2 years I stayed late, I came in early, and I worked over 100 hours most paychecks. I was given the opportunity the start a 3rd shift and I loved it.

Unfortunately my line moved to Ireland and we all were placed on other shifts. I was placed on 1st shift and it all went downhill. First I used up all my vacation time and extra time I had saved up due to 4 deaths in my family.

First my Dad passed in November, then his mother ( my grandma) passed Christmas Day, followed by his sister in March, and then my mom’s sister passed in May. I had to go to Nevada, Virginia, Ohio, and Arizona. So much pain last year and then I also have a child with medical issues.

My daughter suffers from DGBI- Digestive gut to brain interaction. Which is upper GI problems and she has suffered horrible pain in her abdomen and has passing out spells that she has dealt with for years. We finally got this diagnosis a year and a half ago but she’s been suffering since she was 7 and is now 18.

I have always been very independent and pushed through everything thrown at me but this year I’m drowning. With loosing half my pay and all the curves life keeps throwing at me I am behind on my bills, I have absolutely no extra money to do anything for or with my kids and this year my boys only have 1 gift for Christmas because I can’t afford anymore. It’s not even expensive gifts either, just items I could afford from Walmart so they would have something under the tree and my daughter told me she didn’t need anything because she knows I don’t have the money and she is rapping up some of her things to give to her brothers as well.

I am not asking for much, anything would help and be a blessing for us this year. I hope to be able to buy a few more Christmas gifts for my kids and to pay up my bills so I’m at least not behind anymore.

Y’all…. I have lived in the same home  over 20 years , I am married and have 3 children 2 grandchildren .  My husband is disabled ,has been for the past 10 years. During this time my home has been so neglected and I mean NEGLECTED ….  due to him not being able to repair things .

Im the one who never asks for help , the one who  everyone  always depended on . I have literally tried everything to save money for repairs . I don’t want to move , I love my property.  Y’all I can’t deal anymore . I just want to be comfortable when I come home from working all day . Not come home and worry about how when and where I’m going to come up with funds to fix this disaster before it falls in on me and my grandkids. 😶‍🌫️👀.. Hello I’m 59. Me, my wife and 2 boys (15 & 11) need help desperately. My wife lost a career job 7 months ago and unemployment stopped last month. Our savings has been completely zeroed out. Our bank account has approx $1000 with bills coming due. Her unemployment and my income was just enough to barely cover everything. We have fallen behind on the house by 2 months. She has applied at hundreds of jobs over the past 7 months and hasn’t received any offers. She’s actually been told she’s overqualified. She can’t even get a $15 hr cashier job. We are behind on all our bills. I am or “was” self employed doing food delivery making $500-$800 a week sometimes more if the tips were good. Up until the 12th Dec. a few days ago our only vehicle was t-boned and totaled out by another driver. The side airbags deployed. We still had 15 months to payoff. I’m only in a rental till the 18th of Dec. still doing all the deliveries I can do to try and make as much as I can. We need help desperately and quickly for a good down payment for a vehicle. We have asked our family members who are unable to help. We have never been in this type of situation before and have no idea of how to try and keep from losing everything. Our home our utilities. We just got approved for food assistance that took 6 months. But without a vehicle we’ll lose everything else. We have been praying for help, I never dreamed I would need to ask for assistance from strangers that don’t even know me or our family. We desperately need help we desperately need to raise money for a good down payment for a car to be able and keep the payments low. That’s our main need at moment so I can still bring in some kind of income from food deliveries to try and keep us afloat till the wife hopefully gets a job offer. She’s done so many interviews and zoom interviews and she keeps getting turned down or told she’s overqualified by the people interviewing her. Saying “she could do their job”. “Why would they hire her to do something she’s to qualified for”. Without another vehicle after the 18th I won’t even be able to take her to any more interviews she may get or continue making food deliveries. Please help if your able. it is hard for me to do this. I have never asked for help and financial hard times so please bear with me.

i’m a 40-year-old divorced veteran and proud father of an amazing 7-year-old autistic daughter. I was raised to always try your hardest and never take no for an answer and I have been able to accomplish some amazing and very honorable task. I believe there’s always hope no matter how you look at it even when I had a life-changing head injury, and I had to learn to re-walk, run, read and many other things I always had my head held high, and I always want to see people smile, and happy. but things have been rough. My father died in my arms eight years ago, he was my idol always there for me, and when I had to relearn everything, he helped, he drove me to physical rehab every day, told me corny Dad jokes so he could see me smile, so I miss him every day, but I tried to take what he has taught me and apply it to my life, especially with being a father.
And I think I have done very well on being a good father. I’m always there at the school events she stays with me most the time if she is curious or ask anything about how it’s done. I educate her the best I can and I’m also teaching her to play the guitar and she even helps me when I’m working on a car granted she’s just my tool get her, and she may get tools, confused, and bring me a hammer instead of a 10 mm socket but she’s trying and she’s so happy to be there helping daddy.

two weeks ago things changed, I had to come home early from work, cause I was feeling horrible and later than night at a friend rushed me to the hospital, I was having a heart attack. I always try to help everyone with any of their problems, no matter how big or small and then my problems on top of it and not to mention bills and Christmas time is coming up and what the doctor told me while I was there terrified me, because I do not wanna to leave my daughter here, alone. Also VA is helpful, I had to pay a large amount for the doctor visit and the prescriptions. Three days later when I was looking at my financials, I realize we were going to be hurting. I was behind on rent electricity and low on food and I haven’t been able to buy a Christmas present for my daughter yet and that’s the worst to me. I have gone hard Every single day worked the extra hours or go the extra mile so I can get just a little bit more just so I can get my daughter whatever she ask, and she will always have food when she ask, and a roof over her head. But there have been times in this past week when I have not eaten for a day and a half, so I can make sure she has something to eat, and that’s when I realized I need some help for the first time I’m asking for help, I don’t wanna lose my place. I want to be able to sit down and eat dinner with my daughter. I want her to be able to open Christmas presents

Despite these challenges, I am determined to give back to others who are struggling like I did. I dream of starting a nonprofit organization that partners with women’s shelters, addiction rehabilitation centers, and homes for children in need. I would offer free haircuts and makeovers to help individuals feel better about themselves and regain the confidence needed to overcome their personal battles. I believe that by helping people feel good on the outside, we can spark the healing process on the inside.

I am in need of emergency financial assistance because I literally lost everything from the disaster resulting from Hurricane Helene in Georgia. There were four counties that were the hardest hit and I lived in one of them. At the time I was living in a travel trailer because of a recent divorce due to years of domestic violence. I had no vehicle
because my ex took everything including the only transportation I had. I had bought a used travel trailer and was staying in it on a friend’s property.
