I am a 57-year-old single, divorced grandmother, and the founder of a wellness company I started in December 2019 after leaving a stable corporate career to follow a calling that mattered more to me: helping seniors live healthier, more connected lives through yoga, meditation, and assisted stretch therapy.
That calling began years earlier at my local community center, where I volunteered to create and teach chair yoga classes for seniors — many of whom had never been told that gentle movement could still be part of their lives. Watching them grow stronger, steadier, and more confident convinced me this was work worth building a business around.
To deepen what I could offer, I enrolled in massage therapy school so I could add professional, hands-on bodywork to my services — a skill that would let me support my clients’ pain management, mobility, and recovery in ways stretch and yoga alone can’t reach. I’m proud to say I graduated on July 31, 2026.
I have paid the majority of my tuition out of pocket, but I have an outstanding balance that the school requires me to settle before releasing my transcripts. Without those transcripts, I cannot apply for my massage therapy license here in Hawaii — and without that license, I can’t legally offer massage as part of my practice.
I am asking for your support in raising $12,000 to clear this balance and cover the associated costs of completing my licensure. This isn’t just tuition — it’s the final step standing between years of hard work and the ability to serve my community, especially the seniors who have come to rely on me, in a fuller and more meaningful way.
Any contribution, no matter the size, brings me closer to graduating from student to licensed practitioner. I would be deeply grateful for your help, and I’d love to share updates on my progress as I move through licensing.
Thank you for considering supporting me through this next chapter.
