Hi.  My name is Tina.  I’m asking for help with monthly bills and schooling.  I currently drive truck, but I made the mistake of doing what’s called a lease purchase.  Since being employed with them (3 months), I’ve brought home enough for 1 months’ worth of bills.  I’m literally about to lose everything and be homeless and carless. This company requires a 30-day notice, otherwise I still have to pay all expenses for the truck, per the contract I signed with them.

My experience with the previous 2 companies and harassment I experienced from some of my male coworkers left a bad taste in my mouth for the industry.  Also, HR’s wish to not get involved beyond our manager “talking” to these men. So with that being said, I am looking to switch careers completely. Right now, I am currently doing tutorials in web development and being taught by YouTube courses from freeCodeCamp.  I would like to do actual schooling and job placement through W3Schools.  It’s $517 for full access.

Hello, I am facing a possible eviction in Arizona and am in need of money to get rid of the eviction and continue living in my apartment. To give some background, I moved to Arizona from Philly in August in order to eventually restart school to become a high school teacher. I currently do not go to school but am instead working at a resturaunt and trying to build up funds before going back to school. I left my grandmom and a couple siblings in Philly and a few weeks after I moved, I was told by my grandmom that she had ovarian cancer.

I had been in Philly to originally help her with her stroke, dropping out of college to do so and I was ready to go back to Philly to help her yet again. My grandmother told me, however, to stay in Arizona since I had stayed in Philly for 5 years to help her already. Plus, she reconnected with my siblings after not talking to them for years before that. I decided to stay in Arizona but send money to help her out with anything she needed.

October hits and she passes away and I go out to Philly to help with the funeral and to settle everything. I ended up taking on a payment plan to pay for the funeral and that set me behind on my rent for the next few months. In the beginning of December, I was about to pay my rent when the funeral home processed my payment and I was unable to pay my rent since I have to pay the balance fully when it is updated on the rental website. This happened again as I was about to pay in January and caused my landlord to contact me and tell me that the eviction process is being started.

Luckily the landlord is understanding enough that as long as I pay the money, they would like to keep me here but I am still short the money needed since the funeral home took another payment even though I believed that the funds were fully paid.

I currently owe $3600 for my rent and I only have $1700 in my account for it. I need a total of $2000 for rent due to the additional processing fee that will be on top of the $3600 that I already owe.

I get paid biweekly so my next pay date is the 23rd and the landlord told me the attorney would most likely get a court date set for the end of next week or the beginning of the week after that.

Too be precise, I am in need of $2000 for rent and if you are willing to help me out, I would appreciate it very much.

Well I was once a Christian and got married to please God, and my husband and I lived together. Well one day I started to study about witchcraft being on certain items and started hallucinating weird sensations on my back when I would touch certain items. Soon the hallucinations worsened and I was deep in delusion and got rid of all of my clothes and walked around my apartment naked and I emptied my entire apartment of furniture because I was afraid of the “witchcraft”. My now ex husband left me to pay for the apartment by myself and moved back in with his mom because we were also already in disagreement because he wasn’t as faithful to me and my toxic family came and made me move back in with them. In 2020 the year I moved in with my family, I was sitting in my youngest brothers room that my mom was letting me stay in and I started to hallucinate my head coming off of my body, and soon fire burning me like I feeling the lake of fire mentioned in the Bible. And I hallucinated someone stabbing me with a knife and digging my heart and organs out. I also hallucinated being electrocuted and I was screaming and angry at God. And scared for my life. Every day I hallucinate things like this it’s been almost four years and I cannot work under these conditions. I hallucinate someone taking my eyes out and it is very scary, every day I wonder if my eyes are really gonna come out of my head and I feel like my life is just over sometimes. It is very scary to live like this every day. I wish I could work as a Normal person like I used to but I’m just not really able to work consistently anymore. I am in school now but the school doesn’t pay me consistently and even that money gets used for bills. And I even struggle to do that but my family really want me to complete school so I am doing it for them not just myself. Please, if anyone would have compassion on me and help me to pay for my monthly expenses food rent water and electricity and clothes, I would greatly appreciate it. I need clothes because I am on antipsychotics and they make me gain weight so I have to get a lot of new clothes to wear.

I am a 74-year-old disabled, single female on Social Security. I’ve had some very hard times over the last 20 years after my divorce of 30 years of marriage but I’ve tried to be a good citizen and support myself the best I could.

In 2016 I lost my Mom, ( Cancer, who I cared for in her last 9 years of life), My Aunt (who was only 4 years older than me!), my brother (Cancer, who was 4 years younger than me), and my 13-year-old little Yorkie all in a matter of 2 weeks..
I went into a very dark place but had a good friend who came over and packed all my things including furniture and put them into a storage unit when the current apartment I was in increased my rent to a level I could not afford any longer. I stayed with my friend for 4 months until I realized I would never be able to function if I didn’t leave the city I was in because everyone knew my Mom and I and were always asking how I was doing. I just couldn’t get out of that “black” hole.

Fortunately, I had credit cards to pay for the storage until I found an apartment in another city and I moved from Northern Nevada to Southern Nevada. I am currently in a low-income senior complex that has been a blessing to help me move on in life the best I can. Not only am I low income but I also have degeneration of my spine causing me severe pain when I stand too long, COPD & PTSD all requiring medication.

I have tried to maintain just the minimum due on my credit cards until 3 months ago when my rent was increased again. Now with my rent, utilities, groceries, car insurance, prescriptions, gas, and credit cards, I can no longer meet all my obligations. So I had to stop paying on my credit cards.

Yesterday, my car broke down in the Walmart parking lot. I had to call a tow truck to tow me to a repair shop. They charged me $898.00 to replace the alternator! That took all my rent money and I have no grocery money left either….
I have never asked for help in 20 years but I am so scared and depressed right now this is my last hope before, on top of everything else, I end up homeless and on the streets.

Even though for the last five years we have been sticking through it ,thick and thin. We have been scammed out of homes, robed and taken advantaged of, we are still able to encourage each other. One of the siblings has undergone approximately eighteen surgeries by the time he was sixteen, Starting from age seven. Having a surgery every six months. He is eighteen and went through five more surgeries since then. My Financial life has had different turns and twists, but nothing like this moment. I always had to give up this or the other, as many parents do for their children, still I am willing to give whatever I have and can, when I have it. I am accustomed to seriously taking care of my family’s needs…all three children have their own set of needs and wants.  My children knows we have been left to figure it out, by ones who they thought would care. I tell them the world is a Beautiful place. All joking aside, this is actually really hard for me to do but 2023 has been a trying time for my household.  I’m a 41 year young female and currently take care of my 81 year old Mom.  On top of that I work full-time as a paraeducator (I work in a Special education classroom for 3-5 grade kids) and I absolutely love my job.

My trials started on August 9th of this year which happens to be my birthday.  I had a part-time gig delivering food for a food delivery service, to make some extra cash. On my last delivery of the night I had a bad car accident totaling my only vehicle and landed me in the hospital. With my injuries not only did I have “THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!, But I was also out of work for the first 2 weeks of school.

I was blessed with great friends that I work with to help me get to work until i was able to get a new vehicle, which has not yet happened. Been unemployed for a few months put me in a position to be in debt because I had to borrow money to make ends meet. Though I have a job now, I am still not able to make rent on the 1st of the month of 2024 because I had to make payments from the borrowed money (accumulated) from the months I was unemployed.

Also, I am currently a student in college and it has been tough trying to find a balance between commuting to and back from work and also finding time to study and fulfill the requirements of my studies.
