I hope you’re doing well – I’m reaching out because I’m going through a really tough time right now and could use a little help.

I’m currently in the middle of a divorce, and it’s been overwhelming emotionally and financially. I’ve found myself having to handle all the bills on my own—mortgage, car note, utilities, everything. On top of that, my income has gone down, and the cost of living just keeps climbing. I’m doing my best to keep up, but lately, it’s been nearly impossible, and I haven’t been more stressed, it’s affecting my health, PTSD and migraines.

Right now, I’m living paycheck to paycheck and falling behind on major bills. My car was recently repossessed after some mechanical problems I couldn’t afford to fix, which has made getting to work even harder to get it back and trying my hardest to catch up with all of my other utilities. I’ve also started getting shut-off notices for my utilities, which has added a lot of stress to an already difficult situation.

It’s pretty hard for me to ask for help and don’t have people to rely on in that way, but at this point, I don’t have many options. I want to be able to take care of my dog, I don’t want to lose the roof over my head or my means of transportation.  I do not have the best credit to receive loan options.  I’m just looking for some temporary assistance to help me cover essential expenses and get through this rough patch. I’m doing everything I can to stay afloat and get back on track, but I can’t do it alone right now. Job hunting is pretty difficult this season, but I am actively looking.

Hello, if you are reading this you might want to know what is going on. So my partner and I have 2 kids and took in my sister. My daughter has autism, my son is showing signs of it as well. My sister came to us because of unpleasant situations.

I work a full time job and my partner is in the fields. We are struggling between economy, kids, sickness, and all the other necessities of life.

My son and I received the worst news in October 2024. He has leukemia. He’s been through so much with treatment and hospital stays and has stayed strong. He is my entire world. I took a leave of absence from work but have gone through my savings and medical bills are piling up. My parents are on a fixed income and can’t really help much. I had to return to work but catching up is very hard. We received a foreclosure notice if we don’t come up with the money soon we’ll have no place to go, my parents home is not large enough for us and we don’t have any other family to ask. Hello, I am a member of the Army National guard for 21 years now, I was on active guard orders that were supposed to be long term, after 4 years funding for my position was cut and had been quickly left jobless for about a month, I got back into the construction business, but do not make anywhere close to what I was on orders. With house loan, vehicle loan, child support from previous marriage I just can’t make it. I do make enough now to keep up if I was caught up but got too far behind to recover. My home is in foreclosure process at about 13,000 dollars behind and I’m about 3,000 dollars behind on child support of which I just received paperwork for contempt of court hearing in May. My electric is about to be shut off for about 1,200 dollars. I am seriously at a crossroad with no idea how to fix my situation. I worked so hard to get this house 4 years ago and have made it my family home where several great memories have been made. I just feel like the good Lord keeps testing me and I just continue to try to find a way to get back on my feet again. I am super embarrassed and defeated to even do this, but I have to do something, I have to try every avenue to be the man of the house and save everything for my family. hello, I’m not accustomed to writing these types of things or asking for anything from anyone. However, life happens and I have found out it doesn’t ask your permission. My husband and I both worked for the same factory for a little over six years. Last year they had several contracts run out and chose not to rebid on them. So there were alot of cuts. I was one of them. My husband was able to stay, he’s die maintenance and is pretty handy to them. But they cut their hours from 7 days a week 12 hours a day to 5 days a week 8 hours a day. We lost well over half of our income. We have 3 kids between the two of us. He has 2 and I have 3. All teenagers. And they like to eat. ALOT. Keeping everyone fed and keeping the lights on has been a struggle all on its own. Or mortgage lender offered us a modification that INCREASED our payment $300 a month. It went from $1200 a month to $1500 a month. How they thought that was helpful I don’t know. Now we are in foreclosure. I am desperate to stop it. My first marriage was not a good one and I never owned anything of my own before. This is the first house I ever bought and I am heartbroken. I feel like a complete failure. I’ve looked for other jobs and have no degrees or certificates and most factory jobs I’ve found have been over an hour drive one way and only pay around $11 a hour. So I’ve been door dashing for about 4 months.  But that’s hit or miss and not always reliable. We need roughly $10,000 to bring it current and stop the foreclosure sell. Hi. I am in need of $40,000 to prevent foreclosure on my home of $15,899.84 and the remainder to start my own business. I am recently separated from my husband after 37 years of marriage and have been financially dependent on him. I had a heart attack with a 100 percent blockage Sept 15,2024 due to the stress of being in a long term emotional abusive relationship. I was denied a restraining order from the courts due to no physical abuse and the state laws. I am now strong enough to start a small business providing free range eggs and healthy food grown on my property to provide my own income to become financially independent and prevent this from happening again. Last year was a really tough year for our family. Our car is old and broke down several times amounting to heavy repair costs. My husband needed the car to get to work, so we had no choice but to get it fixed. We had 5 appliances break down last year. Which had to be replaced, 2 refrigerators, washer and dryer, and the dishwasher. At a minimum of $2000 an appliance it adds up quick. The worst part of that is that none of the appliances are more than a few years old. My parents have the same fridge they had when I was a kid. They just don’t make things like they used to. One top of that $1500 was stolen right out of our checking account and I can’t get it back. T-Moblle was hacked a few years ago. My information is on the dark web. Which makes it easier to hack into my bank account, I guess.

We have 2 kids of our own and my brother and his 2 sons live with us. The boys lost their mom to COVID, 19 3 years ago. She got sick when she was pregnant and didn’t end up making it. They moved in with us so my brother could work and I could step in and take care of them. If we lose our home we will have to separate and I won’t be there when the boys wake up in the morning or be able to kiss them before bed. I home school the three older children and watch the youngest, so getting a job just isn’t possible. Not to mention everything cost more than twice what it used to. We were spending about  $150 a week on groceries and now we are pay about $300 to $500 to feed 7 of us. Our electric bill doubled and living in Texas with 110 degree highs in the summer months means we pay more on our bill. We live in an HOA neighborhood and in high summer we have to water the grass every day. It used to cost half as much but now we pay what we used to pay in the summer, in the winter months, which is without watering.

My oldest son was in motorcycle accident. A man ran a stop sign and plowed right into him. Thank God he was wearing a helmet or he wouldn’t be with us today. He had to have surgery on his left knee cap. He had gashes on his left hand that went all the way to the bone that had to be repaired. The medical bills are so high I was astonished, and that was with insurance.

We need $10,00 so our home doesn’t go into foreclosure.  It took us a lot of hard work to buy our first home. I really don’t want to lose it. It has been a very trying year. We have gotten so behind just trying to keep our heads above water, I honestly don’t know what we are going to do. This is my last resort. Please help us.

Praying for anyone who sincerity understand our needs to rescue from silent transfer of title of our beloved home of many years planned for rest of life and three other luxury rentals.  A senior near 80young with disabled adult who Helped many whenever possible

after losing more than $1.5M rental income from covid19 disaster.

One remaining lender asking $60,000 today to extend for 3 more months and save rental property from foreclosure.

Worked very hard and saved to plan for a nice peaceful retirement with more than 9 rentals but now down to last one.  This lender already helped with 2 extensions and I understand their frustration.  This house was planned for my disabled son after it is prepared for safety as a group home with a few buddies from his day program as a family cared by a trained caregiver.  Was waiting for release of Heloc to do some repairs but funds was frozen by the “devil” instead paid himself.

Was promised funds from 4 secured HELOCS (loans) offered by this “devil” and  assigned him a promissory note woth $400,000 to help me out of covid19 disaster to complete recovery by end 2024.  Should have caught up with all payments and on my way to a peaceful and better life again by lst of 2025 after 6 years of covid19 torture with defaulted tenants and closing/opening of ice cream store mandate.  Lost income.

But this scam “angel” turned “devil”  broke every promises after releasing some teaser funds then freeze them up and drowning me into deeper financial tunnel and no money instead of recovery as majority of income from rentals.

Only one remaining offering extension for 3 months which helps recovery and a place we could call home.

Otherwise, Soon could be forced out on cold street from home and be separated because social service viewed this as inability to provide a safe home for disabled child.  Searched all programs and no free service available for elderly facing foreclosure and losing years of hardwork  to have passive income to retire just when Covid19 hit and destroyed my childhood dream and plan to retire without begging for social help.  Very disappointed and sad renters have no hearts to pay rent for beautiful safe homes while I have now to bear the consequences of keeping them safe and we have to keep up all expenses but depleted every penn

Regret not hanging up phone with call from  “angel” who promised to kick last tenants out, manage my properties and help with financial recovery completely including taking care of child if I die. Believed him initially saving a lot of loan interest with plan to get me out of financial stress.

When rehapping one rental, he gave just enough money from loan to pay my hired licensed contractor then stop releasing money.  He insisted he could send his guys save money and do a better job quickly.   His roofer and guys left interior/exterior unfinished since June 2024 and Feb 2025.   Janaury, silently took titles to properties to resell for profit when repairs done.  I never wanted to sell.  Left with no money as promised but he deceitfully control more than $3M in equity from luxury rentals and assigned note.

He is controlling my financial assets and pushing us to be homeless without money and utilities threatening shut offs which happened last few months and this week.  He does not care.

Could not afford legal assistance because they are overloaded with cases and no time.  All other attorneys need retainer or hang up.

So today is last day to pray for help to send $60000 to a rental lender who has offered one last extension but needed money to please investors.  This only remaining rental not controlled by “angel” is our only means of survival left by renting rooms.

Could not believe spent moe than 40 years of hardwork to acquire properties only to lose them because of one major disaster after another. encouraging tenants not to pay to prevent homelessness.

Always worked with tenants but now realize shockingly my good deeds all my life  helping others is ending with hearltess people who care less what happened to us even friends who run away when you are no longer financially wealthy.

I never dream ever to lose own home after losing other rentals to foreclosure forced by unfair CA laws protecting tenants but no help for landlords.

Faced with no home in my name and no money to survive this storm, was told by social service last week no free program available to keep us together and child has to be taken to a group home soon.

I would be sharing a big hall of beds among oher homeless.  If I want a room it will cost $900/month.  There is no free help even for elderly like me and so very sad the system is hopelessly unfair to hardworking citizens who did the right thing.  A lot of elder protection programs  advertised but no idea where they are as told sorry.

At this age, no desire to be separated from son as planned I could finally retire and enjoy a good life together until God takes me home.  Paid the most taxes in the county with properties since 1986 but now unable even to keep up with payments anymore but still threatened with liens and foreclosre.

Had to cut short lease end Feb 2025 for an ice cream store of 6.5 years as “angel” PROMISED funds to update.   Instead he was used remainder  for his own glory.   The purpose of store was to provide another service to local community of over 17 years in order to give back as grateful residents.   Kind neighbors and local services are all aware of disabled child and kept watch if out on street.  Extremely sad as unable to have grand opening planned and carry on mission to help teens with part-time income to help their families and have to let them go.  Warning:  Hang up if any stranger calls to save you from anything.  They are scams.

If your heart feels our pain and have compassion to please help us send the required amount to save from foreclosure and legal assistance to stop further damage by “angel”.  Will always remember forever this graciously if successful and will return with great gratitude by helping others in pain as well.  Life is about being kind and helping each other in pain in any community to be meaningful and fulfilled but my mission was cut short by one little mistake of trusting the wrong person.
