Dear Friends, I hope this message finds you in good health and spirits. My name is Victoria. I am an international student, currently pursuing my master’s degree in Technology, with a specialization in Energy market and Computer Engineering at a University in Germany. I have always been passionate about personal development through learning and I commit to making a meaningful difference in the world. I had stable employment until the demise of my husband when things took a downhill turn, making it increasingly difficult to support myself especially after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My family has been a great source of support for me. But now as my situation has become more complex with multiple cancer-related surgeries, which include a Mastectomy, a Brain tumor surgery, and a hysterectomy in December 2024, they are no longer able to help as they would have if they can afford it. Unfortunately, we all lack the financial resources to do so. Despite these challenges, I still strive to complete my Masters Degree. My medical situations have been overwhelming and have made it very challenging to have a regular student job, which is grossly inadequate to pay my bills. I am above the age of 30 and do not have statutory health insurance coverage. The private insurance I signed up for, declined the payment of my medical bills as they claim it is a preexisting condition. While I am courageously fighting this disease, the financial burden of medical and living expenses has become insurmountable. To complete my studies, I need to extend my student residence visa to the end of the winter semester in 2026. This is because the surgeries have extended my studies for another year. The visa extension application requires me to provide a funded account, with a minimum balance of 5.000 Euros as proof of fund for living expenses. I currently do not have this amount and I am unable to raise it from a student job. I risk losing my student status, as I urgently need to apply for a student visa extension to complete my studies. Apart from the funded account, I require the monthly purchase of these prescriptions: Zoladex tablets which cost 235 Euros, and letrozol at 53.42 Euro respectively. These are to control the cancer and minimize its spread. I am raising funds to help me resolve these issues. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a world of difference in helping me to continue my studies and fight against this cancer with the treatments that I desperately need. URGENT SUPPORT FOR MY TUITION FEE

I am Victoria , from Nigeria in West Africa. I hold an offer for an MSc programme in Chemical Engineering at Greenwich University in the United Kingdom (UK) for the 2025/2026 academic session.

I am writing to seek for your financial support to enable me proceed with the aforementioned programme this year because I do not want to miss this session again. Hitherto, I have deferred my admission twice since 2023 for the same programme in the same university due to inability to secure funds (scholarship or grants) for my studies. In view of these, I will need a sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) to assist me in securing my admission and the above discount so as to begin preparing for my studies this September, 2025. A quick and favourable response (above or below the aforementioned amount) will definitely give me rays of hope and will leave an unforgotten mark of eternal gratitude in my heart. Since I am currently wearing this shoe of financial desperation, I understand how urgent, desperate and frustrating situation like this can be. My dearest friends, acquaintances, and even those I haven’t yet had the privilege to meet,
I stand before you, not with pride, but with a heart overflowing with humility and a deep, sincere plea. On January 2nd, 2025, at 58 years young, I achieved something I wasn’t sure I’d ever see: a certificate in Data Analytics. This milestone represents more than just a piece of paper; it’s a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, a beacon of hope flickering against the backdrop of unimaginable challenges.

My journey has been… tumultuous, to say the least. Twice I’ve stared into the abyss while in a coma. I’ve battled Multiple Myoma cancer, a relentless foe. Spinal Bacterial Meningitis threatened to steal not only my health but my very mind. Kidney failure, high blood pressure, and diabetes have all tried to define me, to confine me. But I refuse to be defined by illness. I choose to be defined by hope, by perseverance, and by the unwavering dream that still burns brightly within me.

That dream? To complete the Broadcast Design degree I began on August 18th, 1991. Life, as it often does, intervened. But after all, I’ve endured, after surviving battles that should have broken me, I find myself with just one semester standing between me and that long-held goal.
I know I’m asking for help, and I don’t do so lightly. The medical bills from my numerous health crises have been staggering. I have no family to lean on, no children or wife to share this burden. I face this challenge alone, but I face it with hope.

I’m not asking for a handout. I’m asking for a hand-up. I’m asking for the chance to finally achieve a dream that has sustained me through the darkest of times. Every dollar donated will go directly towards that final semester, towards the culmination of years of struggle and unwavering determination.
