Help a Single Mother of Three Give Her Children a Safe Home

I am a single mother of three, doing everything in my power to give my children a safe and stable place to call home. Asking for help is incredibly difficult for me—I have always been the one taking care of others. After my parents passed away, I stepped in to raise my six younger siblings. I later moved from Africa to Canada in search of a better future, but life as a single mother has brought many challenges.

Today my greatest hope is to buy a home where my children can feel safe, secure, and free to grow. For the first time in my life, and for the sake of my children, I am humbly asking for help from kind-hearted people who believe in giving families a chance at stability and hope.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for any support you can offer. 💛

Asking for a Little Help While I Get Back on My Feet

This isn’t something I ever thought I’d be writing, and it’s honestly a little uncomfortable to put out there, but life has a way of changing fast.

I lost my job back in September. What makes this especially hard for me to process is that I’ve never lost a job before. I started working when I was 15 years old, and since then I’ve always worked—often juggling one, two, sometimes even three jobs at a time. Working, paying my bills, and taking care of myself has always been something I took pride in, so being in this position feels unfamiliar and scary.

When I lost my job, I truly believed I’d find something new quickly. I assumed this would be a short setback, not something that would stretch on for months. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been how things played out, and the longer the search has taken, the more stressful things have become.

Since September, I’ve been applying for jobs every single day. I apply for at least one job daily—most days it’s closer to two or three. I’m applying for all types of roles I’m qualified for, not just within my usual specialty, because my goal right now is simple: get back to work and stay housed. I’ve been updating resumes, tailoring applications, and following up when I can, even when responses are slow or don’t come at all.

At the same time, I’ve been doing everything I can to create income on my own. I’m actively setting up freelance service sites and building an online digital business so I’m not relying on just one option. These aren’t instant solutions, but they are real, intentional steps forward. I’m hopeful that by March, freelancing and digital sales will be bringing in enough income to cover my bills consistently.

The hardest part right now is getting through February.

My savings are gone, and my credit cards are maxed from covering basic living expenses over the past few months. I’ve already cut back everywhere possible, but rent and essential bills don’t stop. I need to pay rent by February 1, and I need about $5,000 to cover rent and other necessary bills for the month. To be completely honest, I’m scared that without help, I may not have anywhere to live soon—and that fear has been weighing heavily on me.

I’m not asking for help because I’ve stopped trying. I’m asking because I’m in a really difficult in-between moment—working hard, pushing forward, and doing everything I can, but still short on time and resources. Any donation, no matter the amount, would go directly toward keeping a roof over my head and giving me the breathing room I need to keep moving forward. Even sharing this or offering kind words truly helps more than I can say.

If you’ve ever been in a situation where timing made everything harder, you probably understand how stressful and overwhelming this feels. I’m doing everything I can to turn effort into stability—I just need a little help bridging the gap.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for any kindness or support you’re able to offer. 💛

Decorated military veteran / single dad in need of financial help.

To whom it may concern ,

My name is Mauro DiBenedetto. I am a United States Marine Corps veteran. I am also a single father of a 17yr old daughter, and sole provider. Over the last few years I have put myself in debt with my credit cards. I am currently being laid off from my job. As of right now, I’m barely able to pay my mortgage and bills. And literally put food on the table.  I have come to realize that my daughter will be going to college soon and with this debt I will not be able to help her. This isn’t fair to her. I made the mistake of putting us in this position and am reaching out for some help,  a second chance. Every dollar i work for goes straight to bills. I am 65k in debt, between my credit cards and loans I have taken out to help me pay my mortgage and bills. I have used all my savings to try to bail myself out.   I’m currently searching for a new job / career. This situation is constantly on my mind every minute of the day. It is causing me anxiety as well as making myself physically sick. With this help, I will be able to sufficiently provide for my child, and keep a roof over our heads. I am seeking financial councilling  and learning how to not make this mistake again. Please take this request into consideration. Your time and attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time. Should a decision be made to help, please send funds to :

Emergency rent help

I am swallowing my pride and asking for help. I’m 50 years old and divorced and I have been struggling with severe mental health issues for the last two years. I’ve been able to keep down a job for most of that time, but I was fired from a job in September and my savings have run out and I have maxed out my credit cards. I have rent due in eight days and I have no idea how I will pay it. $5000 would cover my rent and bills for February, and give me time to earn money to cover my March expenses. If I can’t pay my rent on February 1 they will evict me. I have no place to go, and I am scared to death at 50 years old of becoming homeless. If you are blessed enough to be able to help I cannot thank you enough for any and all contributions. I hope once I am back on my feet I can pay it forward. Thank you.

Title: A Family in Peril: Help me get legal before tragedy strikes

Title: A Family in Peril: Help me get legal before tragedy strikes

The Situation

My name is Shantelle, and I am reaching out for a “hand up” to save my family from a desperate situation. We live in rural BC with no public transit, and right now, we are living a nightmare.

The Danger We Face

My partner is a severe diabetic who has lost his leg and is progressively losing his eyesight. Because I am trapped behind $10,000 in licensing fines, there are times he still tries to get behind the wheel to get us to the store or the doctor. It is dangerously scary. Seeing a man who is losing his vision try to drive because we have no other choice is heartbreaking and terrifying. I am terrified he will hurt himself, our three nephews, or someone else on the road.

I am facing jail time on April 20th because I’ve been caught trying to take that burden off him. I know driving is a privilege, but in our isolated home, it is a matter of life and death.

A Family of Five Depending on One Solution

I am the primary caregiver and Aunt to three young boys who lost their father suddenly in 2024. They have seen enough tragedy. They need me to be their legal, safe driver. They need to get to therapy and school. My partner needs to get to his Dr.appts. and specialists.

36 Months of Change

I have spent the last 36 months in sobriety, working every day to be the woman this family needs. I had a brief setback last year during a time of extreme grief, but I stood back up and I haven’t looked back. I am 45 on Feb 1st, and my only wish is to enter this next year of my life as a legal, working member of society.

The $10,000 Goal

I need to raise $10,000 to clear my ICBC and court debt. On a disability income, I cannot do this alone. Clearing this debt is the only way I can:

  • Stop the Danger: End the terrifying reality of my partner trying to drive with failing eyesight.
  • Keep the Family Together: Show the court on April 20th that I am fixing my life so I can stay home with these boys.
  • Provide: Get a job and finally move my family from “survival mode” into a life where we can thrive.

I am a good person who has made mistakes, and I am paying for them every day. Please, if you believe in second chances—not just for me, but for the safety of my partner and the future of these three boys—consider donating or sharing https://www.paypal.me/msshanii

Help me reunite with my kids and stay employed

Hi, my name is Richard. Asking for help like this is not easy for me, but I’m at a point where I need to be honest about where I’m at.

I’m working full-time and doing everything I can to rebuild my life, but right now I don’t have a reliable vehicle. Not having a car affects every part of my life — getting to work, staying stable, and most importantly, being there for my kids.

I want nothing more than to be a present, dependable father. A car isn’t just transportation for me — it’s the difference between struggling day to day and having a real chance to move forward and show up for my children the way they deserve.

I’m saving every week and taking responsibility for my situation, but rebuilding takes time. I’m asking for help to put toward a dependable used car so I can stay employed, regain independence, and continue building a better future for my family.

Any support — even a share or a kind word — truly means more than I can express. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any kindness you’re able to offer.

Emergency Help for Phone, Rent, and Food After Job Loss

My name is Konrad, and I am asking for help to get through a serious short‑term crisis so I can get back to working and supporting myself. I live in Las Vegas and, until recently, I was working as a chauffeur and then doing delivery and other gig work to cover my basic expenses. Losing my job and then struggling to keep enough income coming in has left me in a position where one problem has snowballed into several, and I no longer have any safety net.

Right now, my most urgent problem is that my phone service has been disconnected. The past few months, I have been relying on gig apps and delivery work to bring in money, but all of that depends on having a working smartphone. No phone means I cannot accept orders, use navigation, or communicate with customers, which means I currently have no reliable way to earn income. My phone bill is 502.80, and that is the amount I need to pay to restore service and keep the line active so I can work again.

At the same time, my housing is on the line. My monthly rent is 750, and that is due regardless of whether I have work or not. I do not have family nearby who can cover this for me, and my parents live in Brazil on retirement income, so I am doing everything I can not to put this burden on them. Without help, I risk falling behind on rent and starting down a path toward losing the place where I live, which would make it even harder to recover.

On top of the phone bill and rent, I still need to eat and cover basic groceries. I am trying to keep my costs as low as possible, but I estimate I need about 200 for food for the month, so I am not choosing between paying a bill and having enough to eat. Altogether, my immediate, concrete need is 1,452.80: 502.80 for the phone bill, 750 for rent, and 200 for groceries.

There is another layer of stress behind all of this. Over the past months, as I tried to stay afloat after losing my job, I relied on credit cards to cover gaps. My total balance across my credit cards is now 4,102.21. I am not asking for help to pay all of that off through this request. I am sharing it so you can understand the pressure I am under and why I am trying so hard not to let this month spiral into missed payments, more late fees, and even deeper debt. Getting my phone turned back on and my rent and food covered this month would stop things from getting worse and give me a real chance to stabilize.

I am actively looking for more stable work and plan to go back to delivery and gig driving as soon as my phone is working again. Any help you can give will go directly to the amounts listed above, in this order: first to restore my phone service, then to cover rent, and then to pay for basic groceries. Even a small donation, or simply sharing this request, would mean a lot. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you are able to offer.

Your Help Could Give Me Back My Health, My Smile, and My Ability to Work Again!

My name is Michelle, and asking for help like this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. But I’ve reached a point where I can’t fix this on my own, and I’m hoping that someone out there might be willing to help me reclaim my health, my smile, and my future.

Why I’m Asking for Help

I need extensive dental work—full All‑on‑4 dental implants with zirconia, extractions, and sedation. After multiple consultations, the most reputable and medically attentive clinic quoted me $48,000 for everything. It’s a staggering amount, but it’s the only option that will stop the infections in my mouth and restore my ability to live and work without constant pain and fear.

My Health Journey

About 17 years ago, my health began to decline, and it has been a long, exhausting road ever since. I’ve been diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Raynaud’s Syndrome, Metabolic Syndrome, High Cholesterol, GERD, Barrett’s Esophagus, a Hiatal Hernia, Anxiety, Depression, Burning Mouth Syndrome, and chronic dry mouth. These conditions have taken a toll on every part of my life—including my teeth.

Dental issues don’t get the same support as medical issues. Medicaid helped me survive, but it doesn’t cover the kind of dental care I desperately need. Over the years, the infections and damage have only gotten worse.

How I Lost Everything—and Fought My Way Back

For six years, I could barely work. Some days I couldn’t get out of bed for more than ten minutes because of the pain and exhaustion. I applied for disability and was denied repeatedly. I drained my retirement savings just trying to survive. Eventually, I had to sell my home. My son stepped in and used the proceeds as a down payment on a house we could share. Without him, I would have been homeless.

I applied to thousands of jobs from 2020 onward—literally thousands—and heard nothing back. No calls, no interviews, nothing. I was penniless, terrified, and hanging on by a thread. My family kept me afloat when I couldn’t keep myself afloat.

A New Beginning—But One Big Obstacle

After years of trying, I finally found a job. I start on February 3rd, 2026, and I’m so grateful for the chance to rebuild my life. It’s a sales position, which means I’ll be speaking with people all day. I want to show up with confidence, health, and dignity.

But my oral health is failing fast. The infections in my mouth are dangerous, and every dentist I’ve seen has told me the same thing: implants are the only way forward. If I don’t get this done soon, the infection will spread, and I’ll lose the ability to work again. I’m 57 in June, and I’m scared of what will happen if I can’t get this taken care of.

What I’m Asking For

I’m not asking for help with my credit cards or my bills. I’m not asking for a bailout from past mistakes or hardships. I’m asking for help with one thing—the one thing standing between me and a real comeback:

A healthy mouth. A healthy body. A chance to work, to smile, and to live without constant pain.

Why This Matters So Much

I want to show my children—and my granddaughter—that I haven’t given up. That even after everything, I’m still fighting. I want to be able to smile in photos again. I want to speak without embarrassment. I want to stay healthy enough to keep the job I worked so hard to get.

If you’re able to help, even a little, it would mean more than I can ever express. You wouldn’t just be helping me get dental implants—you’d be helping me reclaim my life.

Thank you for reading my story, and thank you for caring.

With all my heart,
Michelle

The Way of the Heart: Help me to bring Sacred Teachings to Physical Printed Form

Following the voice of the heart, even when it requires courage, is the most meaningful value guiding my life right now. Through this choice, my soul essence becomes more deeply embodied, breath by breath, day by day. I am nourished by nature, by beauty, and by sharing lived experiences from the path of awakening. This is not something I do on the side of my life, it is my life.

Since 2015, I have been translating the channeled teachings of Jesus from English into Hungarian. The original series is called The Way of Mastery, a body of mystical teachings that gently realign the mind, heal the heart, and awaken inner truth. Five books from this series are already available in Hungarian, supporting many years of sincere inner work for readers.

The first book of the series is The Way of the Heart (A Szív Útja in Hungarian). I worked on translating this book for over two years, and I have carefully reviewed it three to four times since then. Last year, I also facilitated a one year online group where we journeyed through this book together, chapter by chapter, while I continued proofreading and refining the translation in preparation for publication.

Witnessing how this book brought peace, emotional softening, and genuine inner transformation into the lives of the group members changed something in me. It made it clear that I do not need to strive for perfection any longer. The teachings already work. They already reach people’s hearts. The book is ready.

And yet, I want to be honest. It would truly sadden me if something this valuable could not take physical form simply because of a lack of financial support. I feel a deep inner calling to bring this book into the world as a printed volume, and alongside that calling lives a very human longing, to experience what it feels like to be supported while offering something meaningful.

The community of the man who originally channeled these teachings is unfortunately unable to provide financial backing. However, I have received exclusive rights to publish The Way of Mastery series in Hungarian. This feels like both a responsibility and a tender hope I am holding with care.

There is something profoundly different about holding a physical book, turning its pages, and allowing the teachings to meet you away from screens. I can already see myself holding The Way of the Heart in my hands, and I sense that its birth would be accompanied by quiet grace.

The total cost of publishing the first book is $2,000.

  • covering interior layout and typesetting,
  • cover preparation,
  • print ready formatting,
  • ISBN registration and publishing administration,
  • print on demand setup fees,
  • print on demand storage and distribution costs.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps this book move closer to being born.

If this project speaks to you, I receive your support with sincere gratitude. Even reading these words means something to me. And I wish that whatever generosity flows from you returns in the form you most need, gently, truthfully, and in its right time.

PLEASE HELP ME GET BACK ON ME FEET

Hello, I am a retired 64 year old nurse.  I retired in May 2024. Other than my house payment, I had all medical bills, credit cards, and my car paid off.  My daughter and son-in-law had lent me $30,000 to pay off the medical bills and credit cards that I previously owed so that I could retire a little early. (I’ve been a nurse for 30 years). I already had the 2013 car paid off. I have been making $600 monthly payments over the past 2  1/2 years, and will have my family paid back completely in 6 months.  They wanted me to move in with them in 2024 and rent my home out for rental income to supplement my social security.  I didn’t make any profit since renting it out in 2024 due to unforeseen issues that kept arising. There was a hail and wind storm that damaged the roof and siding. I had to pay a large deductible to the insurance company for repairs for that. Throughout the that year I spent over $25,000 to make multiple repairs and replacements in the house. I had to replace the kitchen counter tops, had a swagging porch fixed, replaced several windows, treat for insects monthly, and many more issues minor and major. The central air also had to be fixed. The basement is a completely finished basement. It started having leaks. I had to buy 2 sump pumps and have a perimeter drain put in on one side of the basement floor. The company had to tear out the whole wall and studs. They then had to replace the studs, wall, and repaint them and the concrete floor. When the tenant moved out at the end of July 2025, there were other issues that had to be delt with before attempting to rent the home again.  The house was sagging on one side. That fix was over $5,000, the basement was actually flooding after several big rain storms. I had to have a complete perimeter drain in the whole basement put in. All the walls in the basement had to be torn out, replaced and painted, the concrete floor had to be redone. The insurance didn’t cover flooding so I had to cover all of that myself. I also had to buy a new water heater, refrigerator and had do other repairs and floor replacement on the main floor.  I tried to pay with cash and used most of my retirement account as the repairs were being done, but unfortunately I couldn’t keep up with it and had to apply for and use credit cards. That amounted to over $40,000. It took a month to find a new tenant so I missed a month of rent as well. So now in January 2026, since I had almost maxed out the credit cards last year on the house, the credit card companies have decreased my available credit and highly increased my monthly payments. I have always paid them on time and make extra payments as I can. I don’t use the cards unless something happens and I don’t have the cash, such as anything else with the home or car repairs.  I have been trying to find a job but no one calls me back. Maybe my age has something to do with it, I’m not sure. I don’t qualify for any loans or equity loan. I have tried to think of anything I can do. I can’t borrow from family again. With the increased payment amounts of the credit cards, $7,000 medical bills I’m making payments on, finishing paying my family back and just paying regular monthly and medical bills I will be in the negative and not able to pay these bills within 2 weeks. I’m so glad to have found this site. I don’t have any other recourse. I’ve thought about trying to sell my home, but after paying off the rest of the balance owed, and all these bills I would have nothing and I wouldn’t have the extra income that I need.

I would really appreciate any help.  I feel like I’m drowning in debt.

Thank you very much for considering,

Help Me Regain Mobility, Independence, and Dignity

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this.

My name is Joel, and I am wheelchair bound due to morbid obesity. I am unable to walk and currently rely on a manual wheelchair that is not designed for my body or medical condition. I also lack the upper body strength needed to push myself for any meaningful distance. Using this chair causes constant pain and discomfort, and in many situations, I cannot move at all without help.

Because of this, I rarely leave my home. The wheelchair is extremely heavy, and most people are unable or uncomfortable pushing it. As a result, I am home almost all the time, even during the summer. I cannot do my own shopping, and getting to medical appointments has become difficult and, at times, humiliating after being denied help or transportation due to the physical strain involved.

What I need is a heavy-duty electric wheelchair that can properly support my weight and allow me to move independently. This would dramatically improve my quality of life by reducing pain, protecting my health, and allowing me to attend appointments, shop for necessities, and leave my home without relying on others.

The cost of the wheelchair I need is approximately $3,500, which I cannot afford on my own. Insurance does not cover the type of wheelchair required for my condition, leaving me responsible for the full cost despite medical need.

If you are able to help, even a small donation would bring me closer to regaining independence and dignity. If you are unable to donate, sharing this message would mean just as much.

For those who prefer to help directly, PayPal.me/joeking810

Thank you for reading, for your compassion, and for any support you are able to give.

With sincere gratitude,
Joel

Please Help Me Pay for my Last Semester of College

Hello everyone!  I’m an international student in my last semester of college and… I have no way to pay for it.

At the moment I need around $1700USD to pay for my final tuition of College by January 25.

The reason why I need the money is due to my university raising the tuition cost for this semester due to the school struggling financially (it also decided to raise the cost of the student dormitories). On top of this, my university has taken away my scholarship and financial aid due to the mentioned financial issues, therefore leading me with no options or resources to pay for the tuition. I also have other costs on top of this (rent, groceries, bills) and without the help of the scholarship and raising tuition cost, I have no way to pay for both.

Additionally, my family at the moment is in a very hard position financially to help me pay due to my father being in and out of hospitals during the past 4 months or so. (He has been having various health issues)

The reason why I decided to go abroad for my university career is because I believe that by having new perspectives and experiences, you can work towards changing the world bit by bit. My whole university career has been focused on wanting to learn more so I can change the world. I have worked so hard to get to this point. I have enjoyed every moment and I am really thankful for the opportunity that I had for studying abroad for my entire university career. It has been very challenging but that has pushed me to work harder and enjoy every experience and opportunity this has given me. It has helped to grow and develop as a person and I have met amazing people through this experience.

At the moment, I am writing my final thesis on the impact of NGOs in giving humanitarian aid so I can finally graduate and by doing this thesis, it has helped me believe more in the good of humanity

It is my last semester and it would suck so much that I will not be able to complete it due to this issue. I’ve come too far just so it would end like this.

I know that it’s probably a lot but I would be happy with whatever help I could get.

My PayPal is https://www.paypal.me/XimSM12

Thank you in advance for your help!

help mom and hard working dad of 7 get back on track.

Aloha, we are from Honolulu Hawaii. Im a stay at home mom of 7. My husband is a blue collar worker, and works really hard. We have been having a hard time right now. My husband has type 1 diabetes, but you would never think because he’s has always been. When he misses work he doesn’t get paid! no holiday pay no sick leave. We had to rack up our oldest daughter’s (21yrs) credit card for an emergency trip to Iowa when my grandmother was passing away, as well as a loan for hardship. My husbands car broke and needed to fix it since he is the working parent. She worked really hard on getting her credit good, and we kinda messed her up a little. We feel like crap and have been trying to fix it and pay off her bills that were ours. ANYTHING helps and we are totally grateful! God Bless

Lost $150,000 to a Scam — Please Help Me Rebuild

After a serious car accident, I lost the ability to work and turned to remote jobs so I could survive. Instead, I was targeted by a sophisticated scam and lost **$150,000**—everything I had saved to protect myself during recovery.

The shock and shame have been overwhelming. I’m struggling to cover basic necessities and have no safety net left. This loss has left me scared and uncertain about how to move forward.

I’m not asking for comfort or luxury—only for help getting through this moment and rebuilding some stability. Any amount, no matter how small, truly helps.

I understand skepticism online and don’t take anyone’s trust lightly. I’m willing to answer reasonable questions and provide clarification where appropriate.

I’m Not a Gambler. I Just Gambled and Lost

Hello,

I’m seeking financial support to help me get back on track. I made the terrible decision to invest money in late October. It was actually the evening of Halloween, October 31. That evening, as I was walking home from the train station, I saw a man and a woman (who greeted me as they passed) entering a restaurant near where I lived. It was Friday night, and I thought I would enjoy going out to dinner. Thinking to myself, I should ask my mom when I get home. But as I was walking, I thought I should give her the choice of walking to the restaurant around the corner from our house or going to the casino, having dinner, and playing a little bit. She opted for the latter. Long story short, I grossly overspent that night and had to take out loans to cover the losses I incurred each time I went back trying to recover the money I had lost. Dumb decision, I know. But when you’re desperate, making bad decisions is easy. Now I’m in a hole for 27K because I didn’t know when to leave and kept going back instead of cutting my losses. Now I have taken out loans that need to be repaid. :(

Currently, I need $2,500 to cover my January expenses before it’s too late, and my credit score is impacted.

That said, the stress in my life would be reduced if I got help with my overall situation. Your support would keep my credit in good standing and avoid further financial hardship. Your assistance would be like a lifeline at this challenging time. It would allow me to regain financial stability, support my immediate needs, and reduce expenses.

I’m retired on a fixed income, and my loans are too much for me to handle. My background is in finance. I used to own a mortgage brokerage business and a credit repair consultancy, and I know how credit works and why it’s important for me to maintain mine.

I am partially retired. I retired at age 62, about three years ago, and I received $954 minus $143, which the IRS deducts for repayment on a business loan I had when I owned a mortgage broker company. I also work part-time, making an additional $800 per month.

However, as far as my current situation is concerned, I truly didn’t realize how my income would be affected by taking out all these loans to pay bills, and each time spending more money at the casino trying to recover my losses. And getting a debt consolidation loan is not an option. Doing a debt relief program would cost me, and it would just lower my payments. I would much rather wipe out the debt and pay my creditors back.

I was able to get a loan because I had fairly good credit. I took out the first loan for $7,000, which I used to pay off/down my credit cards, and the rest was applied to my rent, $1.795, which included a late fee of $150. The payment on the loan is $240. The second was $4,500 with a payment of $180. The third one was for $2,100 with a monthly payment of $71 for 5 years. I also need to repay my mother for the loans she took out, which total roughly $12,900, and she is on a fixed income as well.

Between November and now, it has been crazy trying to make ends meet. I wish I could go back to the day and follow my first instinct to just go to the restaurant.
