Help with turning animal hoarding nightmare into safe sanctuary

Hi! – I’m reaching out to those who have a big heart and huge love for animals and their wellbeing to consider helping move a cause forward. My immediate need is for financial support to help with feeding and supplies for sanctuary cats who are mostly unadoptable and in my care.  This is while I continue to work on the second goal which is to move my efforts forward to building a permanent sanctuary for these animals. Their current feeding cost is just under $925 per month.  Litter is another $120 per month.  Additional medical and other is beyond that cost.  I have been carrying this cost load for about 3 ½ years solely out of my own pocket.  This has put GIANT hole in what savings I had before all of this.

An older gentleman who found himself in a hoarding situation 3 ½ years ago needed assistance with cats and dogs on his property that had gotten overpopulated (50 in total). Nobody else was helping so I stepped in.  The additional challenge was this was during COVID aftermath; a time when people had lost their jobs and incomes, moving out of homes and taking their pets to shelters or worse, dumping them, leaving animals to fend for themselves.  Shelters and rescue groups were already over capacity, and I could find almost no help.  It took me 8 months of trapping, spaying, neutering and vaccinating as well as rehabilitating many of them back to health, physically and emotionally.  Several were placed elsewhere, and I am now down to 25 cats still in my care that are seniors, unadoptable due to either PTSD, or other ongoing medical issues that had resulted from the previous hoarding environment.  I am DETERMINED to make sure these animals continue to know they are loved and well cared for during their remaining years as they have been through a lot already.

Up to this point, I have had no volunteers or financial help, and this has been a solo operation.  I am now looking for some agricultural tax status acreage with a metal building where I can create a better sanctuary environment where they have plenty of room to enjoy their lives.  This has been a long hard go but the joy every day of seeing these creatures know they are loved and safe is priceless for me. I will be able to look back on life and say yes, I did something when I could have just ignored it.  Because I didn’t many lived were saved.

There is a sanctuary called Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary which I am not affiliated with,  located in Faribault, MN. I have plans to do a sanctuary modeled after their facility on a similar and smaller scale.  I am currently eyeing a property in the north Texas area that fits the animals’ needs which is  selling for 109K as well as scouting other places.  I am not financially resourced yet after this rescue project has eaten up most of my finances but maybe others who are and want to see these animals thrive can help.

So, in addition to the need for help on the immediate goal of financial support with monthly food costs, I would ask anyone who has this on their heart and either knows of property, wants to donate ag property or help move this forward for these cats to acquire a space, please reach out to me.  If the property works for what they need, I am willing to relocate to another area.

I must be honest, I’m also tired and ready for a little bit of rest and to enjoy life a little more again. My whole world, finances and time spent has been wrapped up the last few years in sacrificing for these animals and their wellbeing.  I kind of want to get back to me a little bit now too and have some balance again.  Getting them set up permanently will help me get a little rest.

Love and joy to you all  – L

Help to pay my debts

Hi, my name is Raul. I’m from Orlando, FL. A few months ago, things got tough for us. My wife tried to start a business, but it didn’t go well and she closed it. She hasn’t been able to get a job since August. I’m very worried because she’s a hard-working woman and she’s a little depressed. I can’t handle all the expenses alone. Can I help pay for the house, car, etc.? Help me with whatever you can. My family and I will be very grateful.

Bank loan

I have a bank loan that I have been paying regular. I recently moved to Norway to join my wife and young daughter as my family circumstances dramatically changed. Since moving here it’s been so hard to find work, my profession is a healthcare assistant which I have done for almost 20 years. Searching here in Norway isn’t easy and wasn’t what I expected. I am searching daily for all sorts of jobs until I get the care work that I love. I still need to pay my bank loan from uk and that’s been stressing me for a while now. I have £4.700 to pay and I have been struggling with this. I would be most grateful for help and support with this, I have never asked for help like this before but it’s got to the point I’m very stressed about this as all I want to do is support my daughter and my wife. I am a hard working man not lazy not one to sit around asking others to help but this situation has got on top of me. Please any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Help Restore My Home of 57 Years: Plumbing and Pool Repairs Needed

Dear friends, family, and kindhearted supporters,

My name is Helen Johnson Todd and I am a 95-year-old widow who has had the blessing of calling my house “home” since 1967. Over these many years, it has been my sanctuary, a place filled with countless memories of family gatherings, celebrations, and the simple joys of life. But as the years have passed, the inevitable wear and tear has caught up with my beloved home.

I’m reaching out today with a humble request. My home is in need of urgent repairs: the plumbing system has deteriorated significantly, requiring a full overhaul estimated at $30,000. Additionally, my pool—a place where my family and I have made so many joyful memories—also needs $30,000 in repairs to be safe and functional again.

Living on a fixed income, I simply don’t have the resources to cover these expenses on my own. These repairs would mean the world to me, allowing me to continue living comfortably and safely in the home I cherish so deeply. Any amount you’re able to contribute would bring me closer to my goal and help me preserve this special place.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your consideration and generosity.

Warmest regards,

Helen Johnson Todd

Two Hurricanes within two years since moving to Florida, Please help me rebuilt my home

Two years ago, I packed my hopes and belongings alongside my husband, seeking solace in a place where the sun shines every day and palm trees sway with promises of peace. But instead, I found storms that shattered my dreams. My husband and I moved to Florida in July of 2022; we’re both in our 60s, hoping for a slower, more restful pace of life. My husband had undergone a quadruple heart bypass during COVID in 2019, only to be diagnosed with prostate cancer shortly after. I knew we needed a major lifestyle change, so we moved to Florida, seeking the tranquility we felt we deserved.

We purchased a small home, but two months later, on September 27, 2022, Hurricane Ian destroyed it. The relaxation we had craved turned into a life filled with relentless emotional and physical labor beyond anything I could have imagined. We tried to rebuild our home with the little money we had, but then, on October 9, 2024, disaster struck again, and our home was once more destroyed and flooded by Hurricane Milton.

We are emotionally drained and desperately seeking help from anyone kind enough to assist us with donations to rebuild. I carry over $60,000 in student loans, and I’m uncertain how I’ll repay them. Our dreams of tranquility and fresh beginnings have been swept away in the depths of hurricane waters.

Hurricane Ian descended like a dark shadow, turning our sanctuary into a waterlogged shell. Twenty-six inches of floodwater surged through my home, swallowing cherished memories and reducing our refuge to ruins. Just as I began to gather the strength to rebuild, Hurricane Milton came crashing through, subjecting our fragile existence to yet another deluge. Each storm eroded not only our home but the very fabric of my spirit.

Now, my husband and I find ourselves living in a hotel, transient souls adrift in a sea of uncertainty. The walls that once held our laughter now echo with loss, and each night, I lay my head in a place that feels like a shelter, not a home. I’ve moved several times in the last few months, seeking stability but finding only the relentless pull of change and despair.

The repairs to my home are beyond my reach, a daunting reminder of the life I once envisioned. Without full-time work, my financial resources dwindle, leaving me in a cycle of worry and fatigue. The burden weighs heavily on my heart; it strains my soul, pulling me into shadows I never anticipated facing.

I share this not for pity but in hope—hope that there are kind hearts willing to help me rise from this tumultuous sea. Any support you could offer would be a lifeline, a way to stitch my life back together. I long for the day when I can reclaim my space, breathe in the ocean air without fear, and find joy in the gentle rhythms of life once more.

In this moment of need, I reach out into the unknown, grateful for any kindness that can light my way. Your generosity would mean more than words can express, helping to mend not just my home, but my spirit as well. Thank you for considering my plight. paypal.me/CSchulheis40

FORECLOSURE PENDING

I am in desperate need of funding to prevent foreclosure of my home. I am a 55 year old nurse who has had some health problems from 2 kidney surgery and heart issues. I am returning to work against doctors orders but I have been in my home for over 5 years and I don’t have anywhere to go if they foreclose. I put my home up for sale hoping that to at least make money on it to have somewhere to go before they foreclose. I am a proud women and have worked all my life and accomplished home ownership in my 50’s. They are going to repo my car because I am 1600 dollars behind. I had to go get food-stamps because I could buy groceries. I am at the lowest I have ever been and this is such a low in my life. I know asking for this is such a blow to the person I am but in threats of foreclosure I am trying everything I have to not let this happen. So I am asking from the bottom of my heart just for enough help to get me back on track. I have worked and will continue to work if my health holds out just long enough to see through this mess. My paypal is Littlesister1. I am in need of 10000 dollars to get things back on track. Any help I can get will mean the world to me

“Building Dreams: A Family’s Journey Toward Stability and Growth”

Dear Sir, Miss, Kind Supporters,

My name is K. Eranda,  and I am reaching out to share my story and seek your kind support. I have a background in construction, where I dedicated several years to my work. Unfortunately, due to the unexpected halt of my last project, I find myself jobless and struggling to provide for my family during these difficult times.

I am the primary caregiver for my parents and my children. As a family, we face many challenges, and though I have two brothers and a sister, they too are struggling to find stable employment, which adds additional strain to all of us. Each day brings new hardships as we navigate our financial difficulties, but I have not lost hope.

I have a vision to create a better future for my family and our community. I plan to start a small factory that will produce vehicle washing liquid. I am confident in this venture, as I believe it not only has the potential to succeed but could also help my siblings and others in our village find stable employment. By becoming self-sufficient, I hope to uplift my family and provide job opportunities for those in need within our community.

To turn this dream into reality, I require financial support to cover the initial costs. The total cost of the project is 93,000$ (for buy a land-30000$, for construction a small building -20000$, for machine, registration, raw materials and transport cost-43000$)

Your generous contribution can make a significant impact and help me transform our lives.

I am reaching out to you today in the hope that you will consider helping me make this dream a reality. Your generous contribution could be the key to not just my future but also the futures of my parents, my siblings, and many within our community who long for stability and growth. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference and be a step toward building a brighter future.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I am truly grateful for any support you can provide, and I promise to work diligently to ensure that your kindness leads to meaningful change in our lives. Together, we can create a ripple effect of hope, opportunity, and prosperity.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Single mum of 2 laid off after covid

I’m a single mother of 2 girls who was met with misfortune when covid stroke. I had a great job was doing so well. I had planned for baby number 2 not knowing covid was going to take over. I was happily pregnant at the beginning thought my life was on track until I realised I was with a narcissistic partner who cheated and played mind games with me. At 3 months pregnant I was tired of his cheating and controlling behaviour I thought I’m leaving him I will raise my children alone. Everything was fine I had a job even his stunts and deceptions didn’t affect me then. I went on maternity leave at 8 months. I used to be met with medical threats I almost lost my baby a few times. I would call this man and he wouldn’t answer but I dint care I’m a strong woman I recalled.  Then I went to the hospital to deliver my daughter I remember I had read a couple of months somewhere online where they spoke about covid in China.  When I heard in hospital that there had been cases of covid in my country I remember getting chills on my spine . My baby was born healthy irregardless of the medical problems before she was born. I was released the next day. It was supposed to be a couple of months then I get back to work and earn a full salary. Everything would be fine I told myself.  Then I saw on television the situation had worsened the pandemic cases went up and the government was thinking of lockdowns. This meant me spending more time with my kids I didn’t know it was going to get worse even financially for me. I went from half salary to 10 percent.  Which was not close to taking care of me and my kids. I had rent, loans, school fees for older daughter was getting bad and fast. I remember then the government started give food hampers I got one it was like I struck gold. Now i dont have to worry about food i remember thinking.I didn’t know it was a once off. Then the my little baby started getting sick for 2 months I was in and out of hospital.  I thank God for protecting my baby girl I was close to loosing hope especially with no support. This situation went on for a couple of years I was evicted in to the streets with my kids. We had nowhere to go when a stranger took pity on us and placed us in a one room atleast we had a room over our head. My ex used to pretend he wanted to help only to try and get back in to my pants when I refused he would stop giving the little money he would give once in a while. I was stressed and eventually was diagnosed with depression. I was called back at work a few months later. I was happy my situation was going to turnaround until I was laid off because of my mental issues and emotional outbursts. Life from there worsened I used to cry myself to sleep curling my legs in baby position. Depression took over my ex also started wanting to take my baby from me because he used my health issues as an excuse. I tried looking for jobs everywhere to no avail. I looked everywhere for financial help. Banks are threatening to jail me for failure to pay them back. Rent has accumulated.  I even Lent money from everyone I could think off so my girls could eat. It’s sad please help me I still believe somehow someone out there would take pity on us and God bless. I’m at your mercy. If you want to help please use the below link to donate. We appreciate it.

Please help me to stop treading water

I am a 60-year-old wife and mother living abroad with my husband and our 17-year-old son, who is in his final year of high school.

A bit about my situation: I am a professional singer, and my husband operates a small burger shop. Unfortunately, the past few years have been challenging for us financially. Before the pandemic, I was in steady demand and worked nearly every day. However, when the pandemic hit, my performance opportunities and pay significantly decreased. To manage expenses like food, school uniforms, and a new computer for my son, I had to dip into my savings, which are now nearly depleted.

My income dropped from around $7,000 per month to barely $1,000–$2,000. I have had to rely on loans from friends and family to make ends meet, a position that has been both humbling and difficult. My husband’s burger shop is currently $25,000 in debt due to loans he took to keep it running during the pandemic. Repayment on these loans begins in December, and despite our best efforts, we are struggling to find a way forward.

My financial responsibilities include food, car payments, clothing for my son, and his new school computer. My Visa card was canceled in July after I missed two payments, and now my only available line of credit is a MasterCard, which I fear I may soon lose as well.

I have reached out to my son’s school, but there is only so much they can do if tuition remains unpaid, and I am deeply worried about him being forced to leave at such a pivotal time. I’ve already borrowed from my brothers and a close friend, and I cannot ask them again.

I am reaching out now in the hope that you might be able to help. I know this is a lot to ask, but I am truly at a loss and am trying everything I can to keep my family afloat.

The amount I am asking for is $30,000. This would help cover outstanding tuition, late taxes, insurance, credit cards, and essential expenses. We are doing our best, but it feels like we’re barely keeping our heads above water.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Any help you could provide would be a lifeline, and I am incredibly grateful for any assistance.

Sincerely Thankful,

Urgent Help Needed to Save Our Home and Support My Three Children.

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and deep sense of urgency, hoping to find support during this challenging time. My name is Gracibel Rodriguez, and my family and I are facing a critical situation that impacts not only myself but also my husband and our three young children. We have an urgent debt of $3,872 that must be paid by Tuesday, October, 29th 2024. If we are unable to pay by this date, we face a legal process where our assets may be seized, and our bank accounts frozen, putting us in an even more desperate situation.

I was recently let go from my job, and I am currently without any source of income. My husband works, but his salary is limited and barely covers basic needs like food and utilities. To make things harder, he struggles with anxiety and depression, which sometimes leads him to drink. Despite doing all we can to manage this, it has added more strain to our situation.

My top priority right now is protecting my children and making sure this crisis doesn’t affect them further. Despite our efforts, we have run out of immediate options.

This is why I am asking for your help—any support you can offer—to raise these $3,800 and prevent our situation from worsening. Every donation, no matter how small, will bring us a step closer to overcoming this tremendous obstacle and allow us to focus on rebuilding our family’s stability.

If you’re reading this and can offer support, I am eternally grateful.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story. Please, if you’re able, share this message to help us reach more people.

With gratitude,
Gracibel Rodriguez

THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

Hi, I am a 58 years old man with no family. I recently became unemployed. I don’t have Social Security. I have been suffering from arthritis and gout since the age of 28, which has made my life and my career path extremely painful.
I currently have prostatitis, and due to the continuous use of anti-inflammatories my kidney and liver are not working 100%, I have a 3.9 in tumor in my larynx that keeps growing and I am losing my voice. I have always helped people to the best of my ability and now I see myself in the need to ask for help so I can get up and move on. I have only felt vulnerable on two occasions in my life, the first was in 2006, when due to my mobility problems I fell on the street and a young man helped me up. I felt so bad and so vulnerable because I was always the one who provided help. And the second time is this
in which I see myself in need of asking for help. I have to pay rent, utilities, food, medicines, medical exams and if necessary a treatment for my tumor. It is no longer possible for me to get a face-to-face job, so I will have to change the strategy and work from home. I have an outdated computer and I need to work to pay for all my needs. That’s why I need your kind help, to buy a new computer equipment, an ergonomic chair and some food, all this with an estimated value of $2000 USD. Any penny you can support me with is welcome, after all I only need 2000 people that can support me with a dollar. If you can’t support me be equally blessed, one prayer is more than enough for me. Receive each and every one of you my blessings from the depths of my heart and thank you very much in advance for your support.
