Hi, I am a 58 years old man with no family. I recently became unemployed. I don’t have Social Security. I have been suffering from arthritis and gout since the age of 28, which has made my life and my career path extremely painful.
I currently have prostatitis, and due to the continuous use of anti-inflammatories my kidney and liver are not working 100%, I have a 3.9 in tumor in my larynx that keeps growing and I am losing my voice. I have always helped people to the best of my ability and now I see myself in the need to ask for help so I can get up and move on. I have only felt vulnerable on two occasions in my life, the first was in 2006, when due to my mobility problems I fell on the street and a young man helped me up. I felt so bad and so vulnerable because I was always the one who provided help. And the second time is this
in which I see myself in need of asking for help. I have to pay rent, utilities, food, medicines, medical exams and if necessary a treatment for my tumor. It is no longer possible for me to get a face-to-face job, so I will have to change the strategy and work from home. I have an outdated computer and I need to work to pay for all my needs. That’s why I need your kind help, to buy a new computer equipment, an ergonomic chair and some food, all this with an estimated value of $2000 USD.
