Despite our passion and effort, our initial ventures did not go as expected, and we ended up in a challenging financial situation.

Determined not to give up, we chose to start anew in Australia, a country full of opportunities. Currently, we are studying English to improve our skills and open new doors for the future. Healthcare business in 3rd World Countries

To realize my vision of providing free healthcare to those in need in underdeveloped regions, I require initial capital to start a business. As a doctor, my professional background has inspired me to create a medico-legal company. This venture is designed to generate the necessary revenue to support the operation of a free charity clinic in a third-world country. For three years, life has felt like a constant struggle. Three years ago, I lost my job in the digital marketing industry here in Sri Lanka, a time that coincided with our country’s economic crisis plus other reasons. It felt like the rug was pulled out from under me.

In that desperate state, I made a terrible mistake. Looking for a quick way back on my feet, I lost a significant amount of money – all my life savings – through bad investment decisions. I wasn’t gambling, but the behaviour might as well have been. I learnt my lesson the hardest way possible. Now, at 35, single again and I’m back living with my parents, who are wonderful people, retired medical professionals in their late 60s. They have been incredibly supportive, but I feel a deep sense of guilt knowing they shouldn’t have to bear this burden. They deserve so much better than this.

I tried everything to get back on my feet, but everything just seemed to go wrong. I fell into a survival mentality, constantly stressed about making ends meet. The worst part? I ended up being in debt to the closest people I’ve ever known and I knew they were struggling at the time they lent me money. I lost their money too with some directions I chose which I thought at the time was the right decision with a scarcity mindset. I know it’s not entirely my fault that these decisions went wrong because as a fact I know some scammers involved. But I take full responsibility for picking those paths even when I was in doubt but trusted and hoped them to go my way due to my desperateness. Some good people got affected too with my downfall. I need to give them back as well.

Here’s the thing, I know I have potential. In my past career, I thrived in the Digital marketing world, especially Social Media and Digital Advertising. I want to channel that knowledge to help small and medium businesses flourish. However, to be successful, I need to stay updated with the latest trends and tools – something I can’t afford right now.

Even basic research and technical tools, essential for any freelancer, are out of reach due to the drastic exchange rate between Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and US Dollars (USD). Also, they are recurring monthly costs. Part-time jobs aren’t a common option here, so I’m stuck hopping between small freelance gigs that barely cover basic needs.

My biggest dream? Moving to Dubai to expand my work horizons. The demand for my skills is massive there, and being just a 4.5-hour flight away allows me to stay close to my parents. While a past trading mistake left me with financial scars, I’ve learned from those mistakes and am confident in my ability to succeed with the right tools and support.

This isn’t about getting rich; it’s about breaking free from the cycle of survival, and scarcity mindset and stepping into a future of abundance. I want to give my parents the care they deserve, and finally build a life that reflects my potential.

One or two bedroom units with a kitchen, bath, full length screened front porch and rear deck. Our market is broad: Seniors who have had the castle home and no longer want the maintenance work. Students who can graduate with equity and roommate rental income. And first time buyers who want their own investment at a price they can manage.

We will cul-de sac 9 homes onto one acre. A reduced footprint means lower price and maintenance. With our property management services no chores need fall upon the owners. I have spent my life doing this sort of property management. I became a Commercial Property Manager over apartment complexes, office and warehouse space as a career after completing a Bachelor in Business Administration. I did 17 years in the navy but 6 months before my naval career came to an end my wife filed for divorce. She took my two sons and sued me and essentially took everything I had. Help My Mothers Business

Im asking for anyone to help my Mother’s restaurant. On May 9th, a power line company by the name of Micheals Power Inc came to the building where my mother has her restaurant unannounced. They gave a notice just a couple hours before they cut off the power and said they would turn the power back on in two hours. When working on the power lines, there was a complete power surge in the restaurant and all of the fridges, freezers and machines completely burned out beyond repair. In addition to that, not only did my mother lose almost all of her equipment but everything inside. All of the meats, frozen produce, fish, fresh produce, and dairy products had to be thrown away. With the equipment and loss of goods the total loss is minimum 50k. Due to the power surge, it resulted in revenue loss for our small family business. To help cover some of these costs, instead of closing a deal, I borrowed money from two predatory lenders, and I have two open lines of credit that are close to maxed out. I am paying back both loans at a weekly and bi-weekly rate. My business credit cards (AMX-US Bank) are being paid bi-weekly and monthly in hopes of paying it down and building for more credit and loans if need be.

Besides unexpected expenses, a recent car accident, and the humdinger of them all, Child Support. They are taking half of my current income, and I am now drowning and just about underwater. Right now, none of the above is happening; nothing is running, my phone is not ringing with investors and wholesalers needing deal funding, and I can’t go to a post-tax sale auction and bid on the property or run ads because my business credit cards are maxed. I don’t have any extra cash to pay my VA, run my CRM, keep my phone service on, and keep my BBB accreditation current every month.

All my heart, blood, sweat, and tears are above. It took me 2 years to assemble it, and I have yet to make one dime. Why? Because I need more of my own money to support running my business. So, Mr. or Mrs./Ms. Donor, where I come from, “clothes mouths don’t get fed; if you don’t say nothing, you won’t get anything.” Since I learned about this website from Andrew Cartwright, I won’t get anything plain and simple if I don’t come here and say something.
