Hello and thank you so much for taking the time to go through my post out of the many other people who also need financial assistance.

My story may not be something new because this is a story for quite a few international students moving countries for a better chance at life and to fully take on the role of someone who is expected to help make a difference in their society, family or country through education. That’s exactly me and this time all the odds just weren’t in my favour.

I have been a severely Type A kid since whenever I had the chance to be responsible, maybe at age 7. Always on track, getting everything done, meeting deadlines weeks before they’re due and knowing when to ask for help. I didn’t think I’d be one of the probable majority of students transitioning into university who were hit with so many changes that they go off track a little. In my case this would be mentally because it’s gotten much worse for me and my disassociation to a level of it bringing on memory issues and having me socially backing out. I have been working jobs and doing relatively well in school so I don’t know where I went wrong but if I reach out to family back home, I have to make them aware about my mental well-being and reach out time and again for additional support, which they’ve already invested so much by sending me abroad for education.

I have been trying to fix my mental health and seeking support amongst friends finally, which I was hesitant about and I am still doing well in school so I don’t want to pause here or go back home and start all over again and be a burden to people there just because of lack of financial resources. Along with that, I came across some dental issues this summer which was not the best addition to my bills.

I have paid what I was able to from my summer jobs which is exactly what I wanted to be able to do for the entire amount but I’m still short some $10,000 (which is a significant amount, I am aware and feel very bad about). But I would appreciate any support even if it helps me get at a $5000 or up to $10000 total.

Help My Niece Fulfill Her Dream of Becoming a Doctor

Hello, my name is Nasran, and I’m reaching out to you today to ask for help in supporting my incredible niece, Nafsiah Hamad, who is facing overwhelming challenges in pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor.

Nafsiah is an exceptionally bright and determined young woman. She has always been passionate about her education and, despite facing hardship, has maintained an incredible 89% average throughout her first two years of medical school in Sudan. Her dream is not just her own—it was also her late mother’s hope for her to become the first woman in their family to graduate from university. Sadly, due to the war in Sudan, her family lost their home and both of her parents. Nafsiah and her three younger siblings have been displaced and now reside in Egypt, struggling to rebuild their lives.

Through all the heartbreak and loss, Nafsiah has remained focused on her studies. She has recently been accepted into the Medicine Faculty at Helwan University in Cairo, Egypt. However, due to their current financial circumstances, Nafsiah cries every day, feeling heartbroken over the possibility of not being able to continue her education. I have been doing my best to help them with food and basic living expenses, but we are in urgent need of financial support to cover her university tuition, living expenses, school supplies, and dormitory fees.

The yearly tuition for Nafsiah’s medical program is approximately $1,800 USD. What we need right away to secure her spot and cover immediate expenses is $2,400 USD. This includes her initial tuition payment and other essential costs such as school supplies and living expenses.

The cost of completing her next three years of medical school, including tuition and essential living expenses, is approximately $10,000. We are hoping to raise this amount to ensure Nafsiah can continue her education and fulfill the dream she and her late mother shared.

Help me with my Student Fees

Please help me pay my daughters student fees.

My daughter, Catherine, is in 1st year at Limerick University, Ireland studying a M/BSC Phamaceutical and Biotech.  She is an international student coming from South Africa and as an international student, the fees are seven (7) times more per year than that of someone who is Irish.  Her fees for the year are Euro 21,000.00 so very high.  So far I have managed to pay almost half the fees of Euro 10,000.00 and I am asking for help to pay the balance.

Catherine is a very dedicated and committed to her field of study. She has tried to obtain scholarships and bursaries to cover her fees but these are seldom awarded to someone who is in first year.  We will try again for bursaries from her second year.

Dyslexia Tutor and Private Christian School

Hello, I am a stay-at-home mom of 3 children. My husband is the breadwinner and we have prioritized my staying at home with the kids, which has come at a cost financially. I have homeschooled for 8 years and we are trying to transition out of that.  We live in a major city in the PNW that has a very high cost of living and we simply do not have extra money for these things.

  1. Dyslexia Tutor- My daughter is 10-years-old and suffers from severe dyslexia. She is still at a kindergarten level. She needs a private tutor and has been receiving instruction for the past 1.5 years. We have been blessed by a tutor in training who hasn’t charged us, but this will end soon. Tutors cost from $50-$100 an hour, she meets with hers twice a week for an hour, making it $400-$800 a month, $4,800-$9,600 a year. She can NOT stop these sessions, her reading is so severe that it will most definitely impact her long term, she needs as much intervention and instruction as possible, for years to come. I currently have her enrolled in an online charter school so she can still be with me at home.
  2. Private Christian School- We felt the Lord leading us to this school, when all other doors closed, this one opened. Unfortunately, they will not take my daughter due to her dyslexia, they do not have the resources for her. They put my 12-year-old on a waitlist (his grade was full) and my 7-year-old was able to begin school there in September ’24. With our tax return, we were able to pay his tuition in full in August, giving us a 5% “pay in full” discount, it cost $6,100. We anticipate the child on the waiting list will be accepted for 2025 and it will be around $13,000 for both to attend. I simply do not have that money. We will not receive a “kicker check” in our taxes this year.

My other concern is that with my daughter at home with me, I am unable to work to pay for 2 tuitions. I will NOT put her in public school. I understand this is a privilege, to be a stay-at-home mom and to even entertain the idea of private school. I know there are many families more needy than ours. I know that no matter what, if it is in God’s will for these children to be at this school, He will make a way to see that through.

Struggling to pay my tuition fees while catering for my sick aunt and little nephew.

I’m a 21 year old international student studying in the UK. I am in my third and final year of my nursing degree and I am struggling to pay my fees. I live with my sick aunt and her 10 year old son who are both taken care of, by me. I never knew I would someday have to beg for help, after all I work so hard everyday to make ends meet. During the course of my study, there have been days where I had to skip meals, to save some food for my nephew and my aunt. There have also been times during the holiday where I had to go to work 6 times a week, 12 hours a day and still come home to take care of my nephew and his mum. Single Mother of 5 in a Financial Bind.

Thank you for taking the time, My name is Elaine and I am a mother to 5 amazing children ages 20,18, 16,14,and 13. I was married for 15 years to an abusive man however I have with the help of my mother friends and family done very well by my children. My youngest daughter has special needs but this post is in regard to my 14 year old. She is an exemplary A student whom I got to attend a prestigious Boarding School here in Maryland. My daughter’s remaining school tuition is $8,000 of which I have tirelessly been trying to accrue so that I can sign her enrollment agreement for this year. It is due ASAP. I do not have it , neither do friends and family. I am not to proud to ask however, I am embarrassed that I have to ask at the 11th hour for such a large sum of money. URGENT FINANCIAL AID TUITION AND HOUSING FEES STUDENT

Hello, I am an international student athlete studying in US. I am a Mechanical Engineering major but would like to specialize in Biomedical Engineering. This engineering field is the one I want to pursue because I would like to make a real impact in the medical field to help as many people as I can. I am also playing tennis for my university in order to help me pay for my studies. Unfortunately, after applying my scholarship, I still need a big amount of money to pay for my tuition and my housing. Money that I don’t have and I am already using a loan to try to finance it. Furthermore, I am renting an apartment outside of campus (in a dangerous area because it is the cheapest option I found) but I made an application to live on campus as well because my apartment was unsafe. Unfortunately the landlord did not allow me to move out and now the university is asking me to pay the housing for the full year. I do not have enough money to pay for both inside and outside of campus and I do not want to be kicked out of the university because I cannot afford it. I only have 3 semesters left to get my Bachelor Degree. The amount of money the school is asking me is for the housing is $17 720. For the tuition I need to pay $7 500 and $11 000 for my apartment. Those are the prices for 2 semesters. If I could have any financial help, even if it is to cover a small amount of those fees I would be forever grateful. I am very disparate and begging for help.

Sushi school, moving to California and healing the world.

I am seeking finances in the amount of $16,255 to move from western South Dakota to Long Beach CA and attend a sushi school in nearby Torrance.  This amount includes the tuition, basic living expenses like rent and bills, travel expenses across Wyoming, Utah and Nevada, and a few knives for cutting fish and vegetables.

I have been cooking professionally for my entire life pushing my personal limits and  creativity to high standards. I  am not impressed with the culinary opportunities in this area, weather and prospects to start a family. I seek to add the knowledge of classic Japanese cooking technique to my repertoire. My used car is in the shop waiting for an engine that I can not afford, I have been stuck in a tiny house 10 miles from the nearest town trying to make the best of this time and season. Daily I exercise my mental toughness, self awareness of a sober life and reliance on faith in God.  To support my income I am participating in clinical trials, but they are not guaranteed money.  I have had trouble finding scholarships that pertain to this class as it not an accredited university.

By moving to California and completing this 2 month sushi course I hope to open doors of influence for my self in the arena of entertainment as well as hospitality. My life has much more to offer this world than just excellence in dining. My creativity reaches into acting, writing, music, songwriting also painting; my passions for the  helpless are unwavering. My short and long term goals also include: starting a family, bringing awareness to the murdered and missing indigenous women of Native America, justice to human trafficking operations, and helping people find empowerment in their true identity.

My name is Kelsey. I’m a single mom of 3 kids who is trying to finish my last 2 semesters of my Bachelors degree. College Tuition

I am a first generation black college student who will be a sophomore at an HBCU (Historic Black Colleges and Universities). I am a psychology major and a business administration minor. I want to have my own therapy clinic that is non profit for those who can’t afford  it to get the help that they actually need. I also want to have my own cafe that will be a hangout spot and a comfortable place for people to do something relaxing such as reading or studying. I hope to also sell pastries and coffee in this cafe. I have had this dream for years ever since I was about 10 years old. I was in the top 20% in my class in high school with a 3.8 GPA and on top of that I graduated with honors. My family knew that at a young age I would be a successful person and that I would do well in school. I found out today that I need 5147 to pay in order to go to school this semester. The scholarships that I did have were taken away from me because I did not have enough college credits to receive them this year/semester.  I come from a low income family and money is at a minimum at the moment. I would really hate to have to stay home this semester instead of putting forward the brains and intelligence that I have to get my degree that I deserve so much. I know I have what it takes it’s just the money that is a setback for me right now. I refuse to let this setback discourage me at all and I will keep fighting and trying until there are no more options left. My family is so proud of me for already completing my first year and they’re so excited for me to be able to start my second year. Seeking tuition fee donation for my 2 dyslexics kids

Hi my name is Emmanuel,

I’m from Montréal, Québec, Canada I have two kids who are diagnosed with dyslexia. My ex-wife found a high school two years ago that are specialized in kids with learning disabilities. They have less than 10 students in each class and the teachers are well tool to teach and help the kids success. My son started two years ago, and he has never had 80 to 90% scores in any courses in elementary school now it’s so common for him to have those numbers it’s so unreal. He told me that he finally understands what the teacher is explaining, it makes sense to him. I’m so happy for him and grateful for this school he’s less shy he’s more outgoing he express himself with more confidence and its just a blessing to see him like that. He’s going to sec. 3 this year, is sec. 2 was as good as is sec 1. Now his sister has been accepted in the same school because she also as dyslexia and face some on the same challenge as is brother. So the tuition fees are $23,500 just for one student, but I have two that are going to the same school this year. So it’s going to cost me 46,000 and I don’t have enough to pay, not even for the upfront fee and I can’t forget I’ll have to pay for her uniform same for my son since he won’t stop growing. On the other hand, I have to finalize the divorce with my ex-wife, I have to pay my lawyer and her lawyer because she didn’t make any money last year because she lost her job. I’m up to my neck this year. I have to move from my house and rent in Montreal as skyrocketed since the last year in a half, I’m so screwed right now. I cant’ take a loan this is not a good option for me right now I’m going to be more in the hole if I do so. I work in the medical field as a computer technician but they take so much on my paycheck it doesn’t make sense. I cannot let my kids down,  school is very important especially when It’s a place that can help them perform better in school. I don’t know if I’m in the right place, I don’t know if someone with a good heart can read my text and find in is heart to help me. Time are hard for me, and for everybody, but at the end I just want a helping hand. I know I’m asking for a hefty sum but this is what I need to help my kids this upcoming school year. I’m a working citizen I pay my taxes I don’t have a bad heart I just need some help from someone on this website that can understand my situation. Please don’t let me down I’m out of resources.
