Being a single mother especially in today’s era can be extremely overwhelming. If you are one of those mothers who is doing it alone every day you know what I am talking about. It seems like the bills just continue to pile up and never end.

Researchers have said that just in 2015 year ending alone over 80 percent of the households in America that we’re single households we’re in fact ran by a FEMALE head of household which we’re mostly living very poor.

Many people may say well there is government assistance for them to get a grant but it’s hard to find and information regarding that said topic anywhere. So in hopes to help the single mothers out in the world this article will give you some insight on the different assistance topics we can cover including where and how to get a grant or scholarship. Also, you will read and see how simple it is to receive help with income expenses and medical insurance.

Are there really grants for a single mother?

Of course they do but these grants are not only for single mothers. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t help for a mother to receive one. I know its mind boggling that the government hasn’t had any means created for money for a single mother that is actually in the shape of a grant. One thing the government does for a single mother is they assist them through a group or have set sponsors through a company, and sometimes they are covered by the actual income assistance completely.

Below are a few websites that will redirect you to free items that you can get just for registering on the website.

Low Income Assistance for Single Mothers / Government Grants

As I said there is not an official grant for a single mother available that is FEDERAL. However a single mother can go through federal programs and register and sign up for them. Those kinds of programs are usually for households with low income. Which means you would also qualify for Welfare. No matter what the case these are programs to help those who make below the limit and live poorly.

Below are different types of assistance based in the United States.

TANF – TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE FOR NEEDY FAMILIES

TANF is a crucial for many low income families located within the US.

With TANF you receive a small amount of cash every month that you can use toward your food, rent, and other necessities. However you only receive TANF for up to 60 month limit.

If you are a single mother and you have children in your home who are less than 19 years old you are eligible for TANF.

SNAP – SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Food-stamps or SNAP as other people may refer to is financial help for meals. You can receive money every month to place food on the table if you are on low or no income.

For most of Americans living in poverty SNAP is potentially the only assistance they can get.

Research has shown that in 2015 SNAP benefits have helped at least 45 million Americans. Most of the ones who receive the stamps are under are up to the age of 18.

When you go to use your benefits for SNAP you have your own personal debit card to ring your groceries up with at the register. If you are interested in trying to get on with SNAP benefits all you have to do is fill and application out and send it in or take it into a local office that deals with SNAP benefits.

NSLP – NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM

This is a program that gives free (or discounted) food to students whose parent’s income is bellow a poverty level. The income needs to be at least between 130-185 percent bellow the poverty line.

Most the time if a person is a receiver of SNAP benefits their children will be accepted into this program for free lunches. But, that doesn’t mean if you don’t have or receive SNAP that your children are disqualified.

You need to contact your child’s school to apply.

TEFAP – THE EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Food for the American families who are in the poverty range not matter what the age.

If you have received food stamps before or any other program assisting you and helping you such as the ones in this article you could also be approved for this program.

You will need to contact your State distribution agency to learn more about the Emergency food assistance program.

Local Food Banks

A food bank doesn’t exactly fit into the whole “Grant” program area as it is actually a location in your town where you can get food if you are in need.

Do not allow you or your family to go without food. If you ever reach that trouble you can call 211 and ask them where the nearest food bank is based on your location.

More then 200 food banks exist with the feeding america foundation and they supply enough food to feed over 40 million people.

WIC – WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN PROGRAM

This program includes a package deal where you as a mother are able to receive healthy foods, whether you are pregnant or a new mother, and also to children who are 5 or under.

WIC is a program that is temporary and only used for a short amount of time – usually between 6 to 12 months.

EARLY HEAD START / HEAD START

These programs are for children up to 5 years old.

You can receive free child’s medical and dental care along with their schooling, and dietary needs.

Find your closes headstart office on their website or call at 1-866-763-6481.

Insurance for unemployment

This is a special program which will pay you weekly if you are unemployed and it had nothing to do with you for you being fired or let go. You will only be able to receive this benefit for maximum 26 weeks. Different states have different benefit rules. But most states will average out at about 45% of whatever the average weekly income is.

Single mothers who are out of a job temporarily can find solace with these benefits and can help make the burden less for themselves because this pay will restore what you have lost from losing your work.

If you want to try and get this started and opened for you, you will have to find your local unemployment office or apply on the website for this specific program. Most states will allow you to also try to sign up for this over the phone.

Section 8 housing

Section 8 is basically a program that helps a family be able to pay for their housing. If approved you will receive a voucher of up to 70 percent of your bills (utilities and rent). You are expected to pay the other 30 percent.

If you want to apply and feel you qualify you can get in touch with your local office involved with public housing, the HUD office.

CCAP – CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

This is a benefit for families who can’t afford to place their children in daycare while working.

You still have to pay a certain percentage but it isn’t a big lump of money. The less you earn, the less you need to contribute.

EITC – Earned Income Tax Credit

It is a tax benefit for people with low income. You could potentially get as much as $6,000.

If you normally have a tax rate of $1050 but you are allowed $5550 then you get refund of $4500.

There is a Children’s Tax Credit too for as much as $1,000 for EACH child.

LIHEAP – LOW INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

LIHEAP is a program that is a one time help to help pay for heating / cooling expenses.

Most of the time this is for the disabled or families with children or disabled person in the home.

If you need any extra information regarding this topic you can get in touch through the number 1-866-674-6327 or a local number for your local LIHEAP office.

WAP – WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Weatherization assistance program lowers energy bills for families in need. Usually the elderly and families involving children are accepted and put to the top of the list before all.

Your monthly income need to be below 200 percent poverty level.

To apply, find a local WAP center.

Medicaid

Medicaid is help with medical expenses. If you do not have health insurance this gives you certain benefits as long as your income restriction meets the level it should.

A lot of single mothers may meet the standards to be recipients of Medicaid even if you are unemployed.

Every state has different rules about Medicaid plans. You can find out exact requirements on this website.

Together with ObamaCare it ensures that even single mothers who didn’t receive any health benefits will now be able to have coverage.

CHIP – CHILDREN HEALTH INSURANCE

CHIP gives children without health insurance a chance to have health benefits all the way up until they are nineteen. It is for families whose income is too high to receive Medicaid benefits.

It provides every type of benefit you can think of — dental, eye exams, and even annual doctor’s exams.

Every state has its own rules. If you would like to learn a little more about this specific benefit you can call 1-877 Kids now (1-877-543-7669)

Federal Pell Grants

Aid program for students of up to $5,815 for those in need to be able to set foot into college.

This is the best opportunity for a mother who is single to finally be able to finish her schooling and finally continue in the workforce. The money is completely free of charge with no interest rates or paybacks ever.

You need to fill out an application and submit it for a pell grant and have it turned in on or before June 30th of every year.

Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant

Similar to the Pell Grant. If you already have had pell grants and you are at the top of the charts in need you will be first on the list to receive this. Depending on a persons needs that are wrapped in with their financial struggle will ultimately decide who will receive anywhere between $100 too $4,000 annually.

Charities

Charities can be a way to seek help for you and your children whether you are in need of food or clothing or even housing. A lot of charities around the world actually have their own food banks that they run and they will give you bags of free food.

If you go to salvation army a lot of the times they will let you sleep there if you have no where else to go especially if it is a result of violence.

Churches

Most churches will offer you food and clothes or maybe even a place to stay if you have been recently kicked out by the one you are living with.

To find information on this you should look through your phone books local listing or yellow page. You can also research online and see what churches are available to your area and call them and ask what services they do offer.

Loans

Single moms can receive loans usually relatively quickly but I would not recommended that at all. You could potentially go into debt and not be able to rise back from that.

Sometimes you have no choice because you have to fix your broken car or maybe pay for utilities and food and need the help right then. But you have to be able to pay that loan realistically quick.

Pay attention to your credit because if you try to get a loan through a bank or anyone they will check your credit score and see if it is even available to be able to place a loan out to you. If it is a loan that is for payday loans or credit card advances they will not run a check but you will end up paying more after fees and costs.

Line of Credit

If your credit is decent some people ask a bank for a loan personally. Most of the time this is a better idea then asking for a payday loan because if you need quick money with lower rates of interest this is it.

Personal Loans

On a personal loan interest is lower dramatically but you have to pay in instalments. It doesn’t really fit criteria for an emergency. Normally if you just tell them you do not have any more funds and that is why you need this they will turn you away. If your credit is poor you will not be able to even touch this offer.

Short term (payday) loans

This is a very popular type of loan. You may know it by the term “Cash advance.” The interest runs really high on these and it is a loan that is only for a small time frame.

This is a loan that would more then likely be considered if a problem arises and you needed to repair your car or had a disastrous dental emergency. You have to know for sure you will be able to give every penny back.

If you do not pay this type of loan back you could be in loads of trouble financially.

Credit card cash advance

Do you own a credit card? If so you will be able to get money from a bank as easy as 1, 2, 3. This is not a method that is highly praised though because as soon as you start taking money out of the bank the interest keeps rising and you also are charged for using and pulling out of the bank a fee. This is potentially the easier options if you do need cash asap but you have to pay it back and make sure you absolutely can.

When it is all said and done grants will not solve your money issues within your home if that is what you expect. To get a grant is definitely not easy it isn’t a walk in the park by any means.

If you are looking to get a more stable source of financially being stable you should probably look in areas around you or find a women shelter until you can get back up on your feet.

If you think you have all the time in the world you can apply for other areas of assistance such as Food stamps, HUD, and etc. They do take a lot of time and effort for someone to get back with you and let you know if you have been accepted and enrolled. Try finding a part time working job as a way to financially start becoming stable again.

The moral of this is you can not expect a grant to fall into your hands without effort and take all your worries away. They are only here too do one thing and that doesn’t usually fix anything with your financial setting.

This is all on you and what you decide, no one else can decide for you.

Home Modifications & Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle

As a single mother of three daughters, I am dedicated to providing the best care and support for each of them. My daughter Lanaya, who requires the most attention and specialized care, has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, microcephaly, a seizure disorder, and scoliosis. These conditions severely impact her mobility and overall quality of life, requiring her to use a wheelchair for most activities. Due to the complexity of her needs, our current living situation and transportation options are inadequate, and we urgently need home modifications and a wheelchair-accessible vehicle to ensure her safety, comfort, and well-being.

Home Modifications

Our home, as it stands, is not equipped to accommodate Lanaya’s needs. Now that she is getting older and her equipment is getting bigger, the layout and design of the house make it difficult, if not impossible, for her to navigate and participate in daily activities. Here are the specific modifications that we require:

  1. Bathroom Modifications: The bathroom in our home is one of the most challenging spaces for Lanaya. The narrow doorway prevents her wheelchair from entering, and the standard bathtub and shower are not accessible. We need to widen the bathroom doorway, install a roll-in shower, and add grab bars and a specialized toilet to meet her needs. These modifications would not only make bathing and personal care more manageable but would also give Lanaya a greater sense of independence and dignity.
  2. Widening Doorways: Many of the doorways and hallways in our home are too narrow for Lanaya’s wheelchair, making it difficult for her to move freely throughout the house. By widening these spaces, Lanaya would have greater mobility, allowing her to be more involved in family activities and reducing the risk of accidents.
  3. Bedroom Adjustments: Lanaya’s bedroom needs modifications to accommodate her medical equipment and ensure her comfort. This includes lowering counters and shelves, adjusting the bed height, and creating space for her wheelchair to maneuver easily.

Wheelchair-Accessible Vehicle

In addition to home modifications, we urgently need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle. Our current vehicle does not meet Lanaya’s needs, making transportation a constant struggle. Here’s why a wheelchair-accessible vehicle is essential:

  1. Safe and Convenient Transportation: Transferring Lanaya from her wheelchair to a car seat is challenging and risky. It puts a strain on both Lanaya and me, and increases the chances of injury. A wheelchair-accessible vehicle would allow Lanaya to remain in her wheelchair during transit, ensuring her safety and comfort.
  2. Access to Medical Care: Lanaya has frequent medical appointments and therapies that are critical to her well-being. A wheelchair-accessible vehicle would make it easier to attend these appointments regularly, without the added stress of struggling with inadequate transportation.
  3. Increased Independence: Having a wheelchair-accessible vehicle would enable us to participate more fully in community activities, family outings, and social events. This would greatly enhance Lanaya’s quality of life, allowing her to experience more of the world around her.
  4. Emergency Preparedness: In case of emergencies, having a vehicle that can accommodate Lanaya’s wheelchair is crucial. It would allow us to respond quickly and ensure that she receives the necessary care without delay.

Conclusion

As a single mother, I strive to provide the best possible care for Lanaya and her sisters. However, the challenges of caring for a child with such complex medical needs are immense. The home modifications and wheelchair-accessible vehicle are not luxuries; they are necessities that would greatly improve Lanaya’s quality of life and ensure her safety and comfort. Your support in helping us achieve these goals would make an immeasurable difference in our lives, giving Lanaya the opportunity to live more independently and with greater dignity. Thank you for considering our situation and for any assistance you can provide.

My life has hit a rock bottom and feel hopeless. I would like to share my story.

Hi.

I am 42 years old single mom to 14 year old boy and girl twin. I am currently suffering from mental, emotional, physical, and financial distress.

My story goes back 14 years ago, when I gave birth two my healthy twins.  My husband would drink and be abusive.  He would choke and choke me when I was pregnant with my twins. It would be extremely nice in front of other but will torture me with abusive and violent words at home. Everyone though I had a wonderful husband.  I put up with his abuse for my parents and twins.

When my twins were six months old, he came home drunk and pushed me while I was holding my baby girl and I hit my head on the staircase. I had a laceration to my head and I had no choice but to call the police.  It was so violent that the prosecutor wouldn’t let me drop the charges so I had to go to the court to beg the judge to vacate the charge because he had a temporary residency in USA and I didn’t want him to be deported.  We separated since the incident and for an year we were trying to work things out. Even during this time, he would refuse to pay child support and visit the children.  This is when I finally had the strength and the will to divorce from my husband. I wanted to live. I lived with my parents and they took care of us financially and took care of my children while working.

After an year, I was diagnosed with extremely aggressive stage 3 cancer… I was age 32 and my twins were 2 year olds.  I was in denial when I first felt the bump on my breast.  It was a marble size at first but when I went in for a mammogram 2 months later it was size of a tennis ball and it has spread to my lymph nodes underarm and it was sticking out. It was so large that they could do a surgery to remove it instead they decided to shrink the tumor with chemo.  Within in a week of diagnoses I started chemo right away. Within 3 months my mom showed symptoms of weak health. Her breast cancer came back from year 2000.  We both had BRCA2 genes.  My mom had surgery and went into a treatment.  Our hardship would not end here, 6 months later my dad was diagnosed with rare form of cancer. Next couple of years, we had to scramble through all of our surgeries, chemos, and radiations while running a family ran business and raising twin toddlers.

In 2020, my parents both lost their battle to cancer. They left us by months apart. I witnessed both of them taking their last breath.  It was a great blessing to be there for them but it was also traumatic experience watching both of m0y strong parents wither away.  We were immigrants from South Korea and they worked 70+ hours a week to grow their business and help people who are in need.  After they passed, I was depressed due to guilt. My parents didn’t get to retire and receive the best treatment to fight cancer.  Since my ex husband was not supporting us my parents had to work harder while going through cancer treatments.

My children and I left our homewtown, NJ in 2021 to restart a new life in near by town.  I had too memories of my parents.  Unfortunately, after 8 months moving to a new place we had to experience racism, discrimination, and retaliation from our neighbor, landlord company, and the police officers.  This incident has turned our world upside down.  I was sent to the ER for panic and anxiety attacks many times because these people will lie to me when I knew the law.  They are currently under HUD investigation.  This event has put me in deeper depression including social anxiety and PTSD. My health started to deteriorate. My children had to watch me cry everyday and isolating myself from the world.  I was running our family business that my parents left me but I stopped going to work.  The business was ran by my employees.  In 2023, we decided to move back to our hometown because of the horrible incident we had. We felt that we didn’t belong there and I couldn’t trust the police department because police officers lied during the internal investigation.

In May of 2024, we were looking for a new place in our town and experience an another horrible treatment from the local realtor.  I knew that there were no realtor fee but he kept insisting it and it made me pay the application through his private bank account and etc.  When I try to get the truth out from his lies he lied to the landlord of our application and retaliated and refused to rent to us.  He screamed and yelled at me over the phone and that left me traumatized because of my ex husband’s former abuse. I was trying to look for a different rental but he had all the listings in the area for apartments.  We had to move out of our current place and unable to find a new place to live I had to make a heart breaking decision by sending my children to live with my sister in NY. I was already suffering from trauma from our former landlord and after this new incident I am broken.  I realized that I am not strong enough to raise my children and I need to get help physically, mentally, and emotionally.  I am not going to let these people destroy our family.  I want to fight and get better.  God will do his work own part by punishing them for their actions. I believe that what goes around comes around.   I no longer want to live in anger and resentment. I promised myself that I am going to back to work and make my parents proud.

Unfortunately, my business commercial boiler cannot be used to due it 20+ age.  By not going to work for 2-3 years, I drained out our savings even though my business is doing well. It costs $20,000 dollar to replace the boiler.  I have no way of getting a loan at this moment.  It is a dry cleaning business so without a boiler we cannot operate.  I am so scared to death because going back to work and getting better was my way to get my twins back.  I have raised them through so much difficulties and I need them as much as they need me.  I love them so much.  I don’t want my children to think that I sent them away for good.  I want them back. I have dated anyone since my divorce because I wanted to be 100% their for my children. I am currently living in a hotel with my two dogs.  I am trying to look for a new place asap so my children can visit us during the weekends.

ANYTHING will help.

Thank you.

A Desperate Cry for Help From a Single Mother in Crisis

As a single mother of two, I am facing an unimaginable crisis. my life was turned upside down when I lost my job due to my daughter’s severe illness, which has also taken a toll on my health. With a surgery scheduled this month, I’m consumed with worries about providing for my children’s basic needs. My teenager desperately needs new clothes, while my severely disabled daughter requires a safe and reliable way to school and specialized care. The situation is further complicated by the fact that our car has become a death trap, and I’ve fallen victim to work-at-home scams, leaving me without a stable income.

With school starting in about 3 weeks or so, time is of the essence. i urgently need a reliable car for transportation, school clothes for my teenager, a legitimate work-at-home opportunity, and nurse care for my daughter during my recovery, which is expected to last 4-8 weeks or longer. The weight of these responsibilities is crushing me, and I’m desperate for help. Your generosity would be a lifeline for my family, providing us with stable and hope we desperately need. If you can offer any assistance, please text me or send money to my Paypal.me account. My phone is  720-773-0830. Any contribution will bring us closer to a brighter future. I’ve done a bit of research on cars, reliable cars seem to start around  $5000 or more. Thank you for considering my plea. paypal.me/Damareen

RENT AND SUPPORT URGENTLY NEEDED, FOR SINGLE MOM OF 4

Desperate for Stability and Support

Thank you for taking the time to read my message. I am reaching out with a heavy heart and a deep need for help.

My life has been shattered in ways I never thought possible. I am a divorcee in the UK with four children. After my husband betrayed me and married the godmother of one of my children, everything I had worked for crumbled. I lost my company, which is now listed in the Gazette, and I am drowning in debt. Despite my tireless efforts to find stable employment, I have had no luck.

Since we lost our home, we have been forced to move between around 23 different short-let apartments. The council had been helping us with temporary accommodations, but our current landlord informed us that they have not been paid. During the riots, we were left outside, desperately begging for a place to stay. The council managed to extend our stay for just one more week, but they have now sent us a letter saying they are withdrawing all support.

I have managed to find an organization that is helping me with a change of status application at the Home Office, but this has not solved our immediate problems. Every day, I watch my family face this humiliating situation, and it breaks my heart. With school starting soon, I am filled with shame because I haven’t been able to buy uniforms for my children. They deserve so much better, and I feel like I’m failing them.

I am at the end of my rope. I am tired of asking for help and exhausted from the constant struggle. This is the last bit of pride I have left, and it’s hard to ask for help when you don’t see my tears or feel the weight of my despair. I am desperate for stability so that I can finally provide a safe and stable home for my children. We need a permanent place to live so I can focus on rebuilding our lives, finding steady work, or even restarting my business.

Any support or assistance you can offer would mean more to us than you can imagine. I am pleading for a chance to regain our footing and give my children a better future. Thank you for considering my situation and for any help you can provide.

Single Mom Needs Your Help After Moving and Family Court Expenses!

Dear compassionate supporters,

I am Bridgette, a single mother to an incredible (almost) 8-year-old boy. I find myself in a difficult situation and am reaching out for your help. Struggling without any child support, I have been facing financial hardships while striving to ensure the well-being of my son. To provide a better environment for him, I made the tough decision to move closer to my family, impacting my finances significantly.

My son’s 8th birthday on August 11th and the start of 2nd grade on August 20th are approaching, and I am urgently in need of school supplies, clothes, and shoes for the upcoming school year. Your generous donation will not only assist with this but also in covering bills and providing essential groceries. Each contribution, regardless of size, will undeniably make a substantial difference in our lives.

Additionally, I recently endured a challenging legal battle in family court to secure custody of my son. The emotional and financial toll of this process has been overwhelming, and I am sincerely seeking assistance during this trying time.

I understand that times are hard for everyone, and I am truly grateful for any support that you can offer. Your kindness and compassion will not go unnoticed, and I will be forever thankful for your generosity.

My Cross: A Single Mom’s Drive Towards Stability

My name is Deborah, and I am blessed with a two-year-old daughter. My life as a single mom has been filled with challenges, but I have always believed in pushing through, no matter how tough things get. Since I had my daughter two years ago, I have managed to juggle my responsibilities, but recent events have tested my resilience in ways I never imagined.

I was expecting another baby last year that died in my womb a day after I had my 9th month hospital visit. I had a c-section to remove the remains of my angel baby. I was on leave from work because I was expected to deliver around that time. Upon resumption from my leave, I lost my job (I was told there was some reorganization during my absence and my position was eliminated). This sudden change brought immense financial pressure because I had loans to pay off and the burden of my medical bills only grew heavier. Additionally, my car, that could have been my lifeline to getting back on my feet, has now become yet another obstacle. The engine light is always on, it overheats frequently, and I can’t drive it long distances without worrying if it will make it back. I have towed it back home on two different occasions. I have also spent a substantial amount on repairs, but the engine light keeps coming back on after a day or two. It has been a constant source of stress and inconvenience for me, and my child.

Despite these setbacks, I choose not to give up. I have been exploring ways to create a stable income by enrolling in certification programs, applying for jobs, and attending interviews. I also see an opportunity in starting an Uber rides business. I believe with a reliable car, I could take control of my financial situation and gradually pay off my outstanding loans and medical bills, while providing for my child.

I am confident that a dependable vehicle isn’t just about transportation; it’s about regaining control over my life, securing a stable future for my family, and setting an example for my child that even in the face of adversity, perseverance and hard work can turn things around.

This opportunity could be the turning point for us. I know I need a car i can rely on but it is not just about getting a car; it is about giving us a fighting chance to build a better and more secure life. Any help whether in cash or your prayers and good will would mean the world to us, allowing me to pursue this new path with the confidence that I can overcome the challenges ahead.

Please here is my PayPal detail: paypal.me/dydy267

I appreciate your considerations and prayers. May we all stay blessed.

Single Mother in Need of a Fresh Start

I thank God for keeping us afloat this far in our journey!

I am a single mom of three children who are all of school age! We have been getting by as best we can. We are grateful for what we have and those who helped along the way of our recent changes! We are also thankful to those who may be able to continue helping us.

I do work a full time job! It just doesn’t pay the greatest.  This is really hard for me to ask for help. I hope that you find understanding. I am just overwhelmed doing it alone at this point! I have applied for help with rental assistance and had been placed on a waiting list.

I have applied and still applying for better paying jobs. My availability is not the best which hinders a better job placement. Currently, I am working toward getting childcare assistance so it opens up my availability and I have some flexibility.

Things are taking longer than I had planned or hoped them to be taking. Which is why I am struggling at this point to even get back on track since the change in our lives!

About six months ago my husband had moved out of our home. I have been able to receive help but it is limited. The household bills are more than I can afford on my income alone! I have fallen behind in three of my expenses and they are essential to our everyday living!

Some of these expenses are from balances before separation. I have not been able to catch up on them because they just keep coming. I have fallen behind in my electricity, car payment and gas expenses. I have tried to apply for personal loan or debt consolidation and have failed. To much debt to income ratio/already have auto loan for a personal loan. Also, I do not have enough debt for debt consolidation loans.

I have simply ran out of options for help and have no where else to turn to get help. All I would like is a fresh start! I want to be caught up on everyday debt so I can keep up with my expenses. I just feel like I am getting no where doing this  alone.

I am in need of some help any help anyone can offer. Any little bit would be grately appreciated from the bottom of our hearts! We thank you in advance for the kindness and gratitude shared in our lives from you!

May God Bless You As You Bless Others!

Struggling mom of four!

Normally this is not something I would ever consider but I am struggling. Two years ago I lost a really good job bc they downsized and jobs I have now don’t come close to what I did and it’s been a struggle. I’m now in 20k credit card debt and have used all of my savings to stay afloat and I am broke. 200 dollars to my name until 15th with house payment coming up and feeding these four kiddos and I just don’t know what to do. I’ve tried for loans but then I’ll owe more in interest. I just need some help. Anything would help out if your willing!

Support a struggling Mother

Due to ongoing issues with my husband, I am facing significant challenges in providing for our two children. I need to buy a new home and a vehicle to ensure a stable environment for them and to meet our daily needs. Additionally, I require funds to support their education and other essential expenses.

I have significant medical expenses as well, including the cost of medications and two upcoming surgeries. My husband is not providing financial support, which adds to the difficulty of managing our daily life and maintaining stability.

Your contribution will directly assist us in:

Supporting Our Children’s Education: Ensuring my children can continue their education without interruptions.

Securing a New Home and Vehicle: Providing a stable and safe environment for my family.

Covering Daily Expenses and Medical Costs: Helping us meet our daily needs, including my medication and surgeries, to maintain a stable and healthy environment for our family.

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in our lives. Thank you for considering our request and for your kindness.

House building cost is US$ 1,990,000 (Colombo Area). Please help as much as you can.

Devoted mother asking for help

  1. Hello all,
  2. I want to first start off giving gratitude to every single person who has helped someone on this website. You’re all truly blessings. Honestly. My name is Amanda, I’m 36 YO, I have Four children, 2 boys and 2 girls. My entire life is raising my children. I stay at home with them due to lack of resources. Example: car, money etc.
  3. I’m a recovering addict with 5 years sober. Just because I’m sober doesn’t mean life has gotten easier, realistically it’s got harder. Last year my children and I lost our home due to lack of money. My children and I have been homeless since. We stay at friends houses or my moms here and there, but nothing steady. They deserve to be in a bedroom to call theirs. Due to lack of funding I have been having trouble just doing something as simple as picking up my son’s medication or going to the grocery store or even just getting them to the doctor for check ups.
  4. Recently someone gave me a ride to the dentist. The dentist said I have to pretty much get all of my teeth taking out. I was so embarrassed, I already barely smile as it is. Now I will never smile. This letter is for anyone who will listen or who has compassion for people who struggled with money from childhood to adulthood.I love being a mom, it’s the most rewarding thing a person could have. At the same time it’s very time consuming and expensive. I am hoping to be able to get a few things in order to be able to start moving in the right direction. I

know that is very brief so I will explain a little more in detail.

  5. The basic needs are different these days, a phone is a necessity. A car is a  necessity. The money I’m asking for is  to be able to better myself and my children. The further I go, the further they go. The money that is given to me will be used for a computer, this is for me to be able to get a remote job, since I don’t have child care or help. For me to get a reliable car, any car really, I need to be able to get to the doctors when they are sick . I need to be able to wash our dirty clothes. It’s more then embarrassing to not only not have many teeth, I can’t imagine applying for a job with out teeth. I’ve always been a beautiful girl. With out teeth it just isn’t possible for me to ever feel confident.Thank you for allowing me to explain my story. I hope you all the best.

Single Mother Needing Car Repairs and a Leg Up on Bills

Hello,

I am a single mother of two beautiful girls, ages 5 and 18 months. In May of this year, I made the difficult decision to leave an unhealthy and toxic relationship with their father. It has been a struggle, but I have managed thus far to stay afloat and pay my bills.

Unfortunately, my vehicle now needs several repairs in order to pass inspection. This is my only source of transportation, which I rely on to take my kids to daycare and to get to work. The necessary repairs include new tires and balancing, brake pads, rotors, shocks, struts, wiper blades, a fluid flush, an oil change, and the inspection and emissions. The estimated total cost for these repairs is around $3,700, including labor.

I am humbly asking for $4,500 to cover the repairs and to help with bills for the next month. This support will help me move towards stability rather than scraping by. Your kindness and generosity would mean the world to us, and I am committed to paying it forward when I am able to.

Thank you for your consideration.

Rental Assistance for a Mother of 4

Hello, I am a newly single twenty seven year old mother of 4 (ages 9,8,6,and 1). My 1 year old is not in daycare due to the costs and my 6 year old is special needs.
I have not been able to come up with the rent for this upcoming month and I have tried various methods.
In May I had a small heart attack and have not be able to work (let alone decrease my stress like my doctors told me to). I am currently a full time student looking for remote jobs and I am drowning in student loans. I have tried personal loans with no luck getting approved. I have reached out to rental assistance programs and government assistance with out any luck or calls back and I am at my final method of just asking for help. My family has helped as much as they could but that well has also run dry because they have their own lives and families and I understand that completely. I had to put my husband out of the home do to multiple personal reasons and he is not willing to help because he wants us to rely on him to take us in when we get evicted. I have set up online accounts for surveys, selling explicit photos (which I am not comfortable doing at all) and selling templates on ETSY but its not making even a small dent regardless of the effort it all takes.
I am also working on my real estate license so that I can make money and support my children as an apartment locator which will also allow me to work from home and continue to avoid day care costs.
If I receive the help I need I hope to pay it forward when I am back on my feet. With school approaching for my school aged children I will need to buy school clothes and supplies. With the help paying rent I can find a way to do this and if to much is donated that is where it will go.

Our rent is 2,449 with added utilities (water and gas are through the rental company and paid with rent) that change monthly. I have exhausted my savings paying the light bill of $465 and other bills. Anything would help, we can not loose our home right now.

Thank you in advance if you decided to donate and I promise to pay it forward when someone needs help in the future and I am in a financially secure place to do so.

Single Mother in desperate need of assistance

Hello, my name is Felicia and I am 38 years old, single mom of 2 teenagers, living in the Midwest, just trying to make ends meet. I recently had several set backs that have caused me to fall a great deal behind in my bills and finances. I just got out of an abusive relationship of 5 years, he was an alcoholic and i discovered he hadnt been paying our bills and fortunately was able to catch up until the month of April when I was forced to relocate after my previous landlord sexually harassed me and was trying to coerce me into sleeping with him for money and when I declined, he decided to evict me. I was able to move before the eviction came about, however because I had to move so quickly, I was only able to come up with my deposit, and rent from the month previously. I have been doing everything I can to try to make the money myself, but have had several set backs. I had a miscarriage during this move, causing me a great deal of pain and my health was drastically impacted. I work very hard and have had 2 jobs up until my miscarriage which caused me to miss time from my full time job and created a tail spin of downward effects. So at this time, I only am able to work part time and on light duty until my body can fully recover. I just accepted a position with another company for a full time position, however it won’t start until the end of the month and my new landlord has been gracious enough to allow me time to make up rent. However, he is only giving me until the first week of August to come up with 2 months of rent. I also have been unable to set up electricity in my name as I don’t have the deposit to pay to put it in my name.

In total my debt to him and the electricity company is $2700.

I have another problem to resolve as well. I need to get my car licensed as I have accumulated fines for not registering it. I haven’t been able to register it due to being in the abusive relationship and he controlled my money and wouldn’t allow me to save the money to pay my taxes on my car. It’s been 2 years since I’ve gotten the car and it’s my only source of transportation. I have tried all resources I know of to help me in my endeavors. I have calculated the total of my sales tax plus late fees to be $2400, including property tax and license fees.

This brings me to a grand total of $5,100.

I have even looked into getting a car title loan, but in order to do that it must be licensed. I could pay my rent with that although. But I am desperate for any help available to me. My family is all deceased, and the only 2 living are declining in health and unable to help me. I would greatly appreciate any help that anyone could give me. I am a great person and always try to provide and give back to my community. In my Last neighborhood I started a neighborhood watch group consisting of over 60 members. I am being recognized by the city council for my efforts in stopping the crime in that area. I am trying to get my life back in order but seems like I keep falling behind and this boost would give me just what I need to get me on the right track..

Thank you for your time and listening to me. I truly God Bless each and every one of you for even considering helping me in my time of need. Have a great day. Thank you again.
