Being a single mother especially in today’s era can be extremely overwhelming. If you are one of those mothers who is doing it alone every day you know what I am talking about. It seems like the bills just continue to pile up and never end.

Researchers have said that just in 2015 year ending alone over 80 percent of the households in America that we’re single households we’re in fact ran by a FEMALE head of household which we’re mostly living very poor.

Many people may say well there is government assistance for them to get a grant but it’s hard to find and information regarding that said topic anywhere. So in hopes to help the single mothers out in the world this article will give you some insight on the different assistance topics we can cover including where and how to get a grant or scholarship. Also, you will read and see how simple it is to receive help with income expenses and medical insurance.

Are there really grants for a single mother?

Of course they do but these grants are not only for single mothers. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t help for a mother to receive one. I know its mind boggling that the government hasn’t had any means created for money for a single mother that is actually in the shape of a grant. One thing the government does for a single mother is they assist them through a group or have set sponsors through a company, and sometimes they are covered by the actual income assistance completely.

Below are a few websites that will redirect you to free items that you can get just for registering on the website.

Low Income Assistance for Single Mothers / Government Grants

As I said there is not an official grant for a single mother available that is FEDERAL. However a single mother can go through federal programs and register and sign up for them. Those kinds of programs are usually for households with low income. Which means you would also qualify for Welfare. No matter what the case these are programs to help those who make below the limit and live poorly.

Below are different types of assistance based in the United States.

TANF – TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE FOR NEEDY FAMILIES

TANF is a crucial for many low income families located within the US.

With TANF you receive a small amount of cash every month that you can use toward your food, rent, and other necessities. However you only receive TANF for up to 60 month limit.

If you are a single mother and you have children in your home who are less than 19 years old you are eligible for TANF.

SNAP – SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Food-stamps or SNAP as other people may refer to is financial help for meals. You can receive money every month to place food on the table if you are on low or no income.

For most of Americans living in poverty SNAP is potentially the only assistance they can get.

Research has shown that in 2015 SNAP benefits have helped at least 45 million Americans. Most of the ones who receive the stamps are under are up to the age of 18.

When you go to use your benefits for SNAP you have your own personal debit card to ring your groceries up with at the register. If you are interested in trying to get on with SNAP benefits all you have to do is fill and application out and send it in or take it into a local office that deals with SNAP benefits.

NSLP – NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM

This is a program that gives free (or discounted) food to students whose parent’s income is bellow a poverty level. The income needs to be at least between 130-185 percent bellow the poverty line.

Most the time if a person is a receiver of SNAP benefits their children will be accepted into this program for free lunches. But, that doesn’t mean if you don’t have or receive SNAP that your children are disqualified.

You need to contact your child’s school to apply.

TEFAP – THE EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Food for the American families who are in the poverty range not matter what the age.

If you have received food stamps before or any other program assisting you and helping you such as the ones in this article you could also be approved for this program.

You will need to contact your State distribution agency to learn more about the Emergency food assistance program.

Local Food Banks

A food bank doesn’t exactly fit into the whole “Grant” program area as it is actually a location in your town where you can get food if you are in need.

Do not allow you or your family to go without food. If you ever reach that trouble you can call 211 and ask them where the nearest food bank is based on your location.

More then 200 food banks exist with the feeding america foundation and they supply enough food to feed over 40 million people.

WIC – WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN PROGRAM

This program includes a package deal where you as a mother are able to receive healthy foods, whether you are pregnant or a new mother, and also to children who are 5 or under.

WIC is a program that is temporary and only used for a short amount of time – usually between 6 to 12 months.

EARLY HEAD START / HEAD START

These programs are for children up to 5 years old.

You can receive free child’s medical and dental care along with their schooling, and dietary needs.

Find your closes headstart office on their website or call at 1-866-763-6481.

Insurance for unemployment

This is a special program which will pay you weekly if you are unemployed and it had nothing to do with you for you being fired or let go. You will only be able to receive this benefit for maximum 26 weeks. Different states have different benefit rules. But most states will average out at about 45% of whatever the average weekly income is.

Single mothers who are out of a job temporarily can find solace with these benefits and can help make the burden less for themselves because this pay will restore what you have lost from losing your work.

If you want to try and get this started and opened for you, you will have to find your local unemployment office or apply on the website for this specific program. Most states will allow you to also try to sign up for this over the phone.

Section 8 housing

Section 8 is basically a program that helps a family be able to pay for their housing. If approved you will receive a voucher of up to 70 percent of your bills (utilities and rent). You are expected to pay the other 30 percent.

If you want to apply and feel you qualify you can get in touch with your local office involved with public housing, the HUD office.

CCAP – CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

This is a benefit for families who can’t afford to place their children in daycare while working.

You still have to pay a certain percentage but it isn’t a big lump of money. The less you earn, the less you need to contribute.

EITC – Earned Income Tax Credit

It is a tax benefit for people with low income. You could potentially get as much as $6,000.

If you normally have a tax rate of $1050 but you are allowed $5550 then you get refund of $4500.

There is a Children’s Tax Credit too for as much as $1,000 for EACH child.

LIHEAP – LOW INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

LIHEAP is a program that is a one time help to help pay for heating / cooling expenses.

Most of the time this is for the disabled or families with children or disabled person in the home.

If you need any extra information regarding this topic you can get in touch through the number 1-866-674-6327 or a local number for your local LIHEAP office.

WAP – WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Weatherization assistance program lowers energy bills for families in need. Usually the elderly and families involving children are accepted and put to the top of the list before all.

Your monthly income need to be below 200 percent poverty level.

To apply, find a local WAP center.

Medicaid

Medicaid is help with medical expenses. If you do not have health insurance this gives you certain benefits as long as your income restriction meets the level it should.

A lot of single mothers may meet the standards to be recipients of Medicaid even if you are unemployed.

Every state has different rules about Medicaid plans. You can find out exact requirements on this website.

Together with ObamaCare it ensures that even single mothers who didn’t receive any health benefits will now be able to have coverage.

CHIP – CHILDREN HEALTH INSURANCE

CHIP gives children without health insurance a chance to have health benefits all the way up until they are nineteen. It is for families whose income is too high to receive Medicaid benefits.

It provides every type of benefit you can think of — dental, eye exams, and even annual doctor’s exams.

Every state has its own rules. If you would like to learn a little more about this specific benefit you can call 1-877 Kids now (1-877-543-7669)

Federal Pell Grants

Aid program for students of up to $5,815 for those in need to be able to set foot into college.

This is the best opportunity for a mother who is single to finally be able to finish her schooling and finally continue in the workforce. The money is completely free of charge with no interest rates or paybacks ever.

You need to fill out an application and submit it for a pell grant and have it turned in on or before June 30th of every year.

Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant

Similar to the Pell Grant. If you already have had pell grants and you are at the top of the charts in need you will be first on the list to receive this. Depending on a persons needs that are wrapped in with their financial struggle will ultimately decide who will receive anywhere between $100 too $4,000 annually.

Charities

Charities can be a way to seek help for you and your children whether you are in need of food or clothing or even housing. A lot of charities around the world actually have their own food banks that they run and they will give you bags of free food.

If you go to salvation army a lot of the times they will let you sleep there if you have no where else to go especially if it is a result of violence.

Churches

Most churches will offer you food and clothes or maybe even a place to stay if you have been recently kicked out by the one you are living with.

To find information on this you should look through your phone books local listing or yellow page. You can also research online and see what churches are available to your area and call them and ask what services they do offer.

Loans

Single moms can receive loans usually relatively quickly but I would not recommended that at all. You could potentially go into debt and not be able to rise back from that.

Sometimes you have no choice because you have to fix your broken car or maybe pay for utilities and food and need the help right then. But you have to be able to pay that loan realistically quick.

Pay attention to your credit because if you try to get a loan through a bank or anyone they will check your credit score and see if it is even available to be able to place a loan out to you. If it is a loan that is for payday loans or credit card advances they will not run a check but you will end up paying more after fees and costs.

Line of Credit

If your credit is decent some people ask a bank for a loan personally. Most of the time this is a better idea then asking for a payday loan because if you need quick money with lower rates of interest this is it.

Personal Loans

On a personal loan interest is lower dramatically but you have to pay in instalments. It doesn’t really fit criteria for an emergency. Normally if you just tell them you do not have any more funds and that is why you need this they will turn you away. If your credit is poor you will not be able to even touch this offer.

Short term (payday) loans

This is a very popular type of loan. You may know it by the term “Cash advance.” The interest runs really high on these and it is a loan that is only for a small time frame.

This is a loan that would more then likely be considered if a problem arises and you needed to repair your car or had a disastrous dental emergency. You have to know for sure you will be able to give every penny back.

If you do not pay this type of loan back you could be in loads of trouble financially.

Credit card cash advance

Do you own a credit card? If so you will be able to get money from a bank as easy as 1, 2, 3. This is not a method that is highly praised though because as soon as you start taking money out of the bank the interest keeps rising and you also are charged for using and pulling out of the bank a fee. This is potentially the easier options if you do need cash asap but you have to pay it back and make sure you absolutely can.

When it is all said and done grants will not solve your money issues within your home if that is what you expect. To get a grant is definitely not easy it isn’t a walk in the park by any means.

If you are looking to get a more stable source of financially being stable you should probably look in areas around you or find a women shelter until you can get back up on your feet.

If you think you have all the time in the world you can apply for other areas of assistance such as Food stamps, HUD, and etc. They do take a lot of time and effort for someone to get back with you and let you know if you have been accepted and enrolled. Try finding a part time working job as a way to financially start becoming stable again.

The moral of this is you can not expect a grant to fall into your hands without effort and take all your worries away. They are only here too do one thing and that doesn’t usually fix anything with your financial setting.

This is all on you and what you decide, no one else can decide for you.

Her Familys Hope

My name is Christina, and I am a single mother of three wonderful children. Two of my kids are adopted, and they have special needs that require constant attention and love. Over the past few years, my life has been a rollercoaster of challenges, and now I am on the brink of losing everything I’ve worked so hard to build.

Approximately three years ago, my father was diagnosed with cancer. Being his primary caregiver, I had to step away from my beloved business to care for him during the final stages of his life. This period was emotionally draining, but I never imagined it would lead to financial ruin.

To keep my business running, I hired a manager to handle the day-to-day operations and finances. Unfortunately, she betrayed my trust and stole over $115,000. When I returned, my business was in shambles. As if that wasn’t enough, she had signed a contract with a company without my knowledge, resulting in a $90,000 judgment against me.

Since then, I have been embroiled in a legal battle to recoup the stolen money and have the judgment overturned. The stress and financial strain have been overwhelming. Adding to the burden, a large franchised gym moved into the area, offering better rates and newer equipment, making it hard for my small business to compete.

I have been running my gym for 6 years, pouring my heart and soul into creating a welcoming space for the everyone. But the odds have been stacked against me. The landlord refuses to maintain the building, and we haven’t had air conditioning for over four years. My resources are exhausted, and I fear I won’t be able to provide for my children.

I am drowning in debt and don’t know where to turn. I can’t sell the business because of the ongoing lawsuit, and I had to file for personal bankruptcy to protect what little I have left. To make ends meet, I work 12-hour overnight shifts in addition to managing the gym. Despite my relentless efforts, I am pleading for help to save my business so I can provide for my family and spend more time with my children.

I have no financial support, and I am terrified of losing my dream and my ability to care for my kids. I am reaching out, desperately hoping for financial assistance to keep my doors open and secure a stable future for my family. Your support could be the lifeline we need to survive this storm and rebuild what has been lost.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Any help you can provide will make a world of difference to us.  I’ve never had to ask for help like this and I feel like I am failing my kids terribly.  I’ve never felt such desperation.

Help Me and My Daughter Escape a Traumatic Past and Start a New Life !

Hello,

My name is Giovanna, and I am a 25-year-old woman from Kitchener, Ontario. I am reaching out with a humble and sincere plea for assistance as I work to rebuild my life and leave a painful past behind, not just for myself but also for my 5-year-old daughter.

Three years ago, I came to Canada from Brazil, hopeful for a bright future. Unfortunately, the man who brought me here, who I believed to be my husband, turned out to be my abuser. For three years, I was trapped in a nightmare, forced into the sexual promiscuity with his so called friends and cam modelling.

A year and a half ago, I was got into the adult film industry, further deepening my trauma and isolating me from any hope of normalcy. Recently, I found the courage to break free from this man and escape the life I was forced into. I am determined to start anew, to reclaim my autonomy and my dignity, but I need your help.

My daughter, who is only 5 years old, deserves a safe and stable environment far away from the shadows of our past. My family a supposedly conservative christian family, has disowned me because of my past, leaving me without a support network. I am looking to raise funds to move out of Kitchener and start over in a new city or province where we can rebuild our lives.

Your generosity would help us cover the costs of relocation, secure safe housing, and access the resources we need to heal and start fresh. I am committed to staying away from my past life and finding a path to independence and peace for myself and my daughter.

Honestly, I could write a book to explain you were I am coming from and what I have been through, and it would never be enough.

Any amount you can contribute will make a significant difference in our journey towards a safer and brighter future. We will need about $ 4,000 to break free and move to a new city where I can rent my place, find a decent job and take care of my daughter.

If you wish to assist us, please use this link below :

https://paypal.me/Freedom11ON

Otherwise, please keep us in your prayers !

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering helping us during this critical time in our lives.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Giovanna

Help Needed

Warm greetings 😊

Thank you for taking the time to read. I’m currently losing a catch up game with my finances.

Currently, I’m struggling to keep food on the table and a roof over my families head. I’m a single mother, working as a daycare teacher. I work as much as I can to keep things going. Earlier this year, after my landlord raised the rent I was working 13 days in a row, a getting one day of rest, then starting over again. This pace made me ill, I guess my immune system must have been low, for I cought a stomach Flu, followed by the flu and this lead me to have a seizure. My job as a Daycare teacher, doesn’t offer benefits like other jobs. Therefore during my recovery time there was no income. I’ve fallen back in car insurance, rent and utilities.

During the time I got sick, I was also due for my recertification for SNAP, I reapplied and I’m still waiting. I’m hopeful I’ll be able to successfully obtain a second job soon, got an interview lined up. However, my landlord is already threatening to evict me.

My alternator died and I changed it myself, to save money on sending it elsewhere and to have safe, reliable transportation for my family and myself. I mostly use the vehicle to run errands and go to and from work. I make $50 of gas last at least 2 weeks, until my next paycheck.

Monthly rent is 975 and my last paycheck was around 800. I chose to feed my family. So I need help with the rent. I owe a little less than 1660. Please help, it’ll be greatly appreciated and a blessing to a struggling family.

I’m asking for help with my most pressing matter. God knows and will allow me to get all other matters figured out. My cash app is $AurianaMelendez

Single income mom of two

Hello to whoever is reading this, in the situation where I find my self begging for money is unfortunate. I do not have a sob story nor do I want to make up one. In reality I’m just really needing help, bills are piling up and debt is becoming unbearable. I’m an active duty military mom of 2 under 2 and the pay is just not enough to cover the expenses . I really just need a cushion so that I can be ahead of my bills. Living paycheck to paycheck trying to provide for my babies. The stress is killing me. The world is hurting and it’s so unfortunate and I feel so much more fortunate than others who don’t have a job or home I hate that I’m even asking. But what if I become one of them and I could’ve prevented it just by asking for help. Everyone I have in my life all need help help too and if I’m able to get a little help and get on my feet and ahead of my bills, I can also pay it forward. Thank you so much for reading this far. If you’re willing to help, anything will do, I’m hoping to get a total of $10,000 . Cashapp $sansavan

Struggling Mom/Guardian Mom- Needing Help!

Hello to anyone seeing this:

My name is Jillian and I’m currently a single mom to a 13-year-old boy and a guardian mom of a 14-year-old girl. I have been a single mom since my son was 2 years old. And about 2 years ago I received a call from CPS stating a friend of mines child was being removed from her mother and was given my name as a possible safe place for a 12-year-old girl.  That evening my life change completely! I took in my friend’s child as my own in hopes of one day being able to reunite her with her own mother again.

Unfortunately, after almost 2 years she still remains in my custody and financially has taken its toll on me.

I’m not one to ask for help because I was raised to work hard for what you have but with the addition to my family has caused me to finally break down and ask for help. I asked my family for help but they were unable to provide any assistance. After gaining guardianship of a minor child, I had to purchase a new home in order to meet the standard of the guardianship as my previous home was only 2 bedroom and CPS did not allow a boy and girl to share a room.

So, I searched for a house in my area and found a small home that is 3 bedrooms to fit my family. However, purchasing a home drained my savings account with down payment, closing cost, inspections and additional fees. And with the added child and the cost of everything over the last 2 years has put me in a financial situation I have never been in before.

I’m truly struggling to provide for me and my two kids. I’m in debt and feel like I’m sinking and sinking fast.

I’m kindly asking for financial assistance to help me and my family from sinking.

Needing help with:

*Credit Card Debt – $22,124
*Mortgage Debt – $128,691
*Personal Loan – $3,304
*Car Lease (will need to buy out come sept 2024) – $19,072
Total debt: $173,191

It breaks my heart having to ask for assistance because I wish I could be able to provide others with assistance. I would be truly thankful for anyone who is able to help with any amount of money to try to see the light at the end of the tunnel and not feel like I’m sinking. And who knows maybe one day I will be able to pay it forward to someone else. Never know how the world works sometimes.

You are able to send any funds to:

Thank you and hope you have a great day!

Please Help fix my car

Hey! My name is Taylor and I’m a single mom to a wonderful 2yr old boy.
2 years ago, we lost his father due to suicide and have been trying to make ends meet. It’s been a struggle with the rising rent prices, and many other rising prices.
Recently, my car bumper has fallen off and damage was done by a “friend” of mine. Damage done is the radiator support bar, bent support for the front of the car and tire. They will not pay and continue to tell me they didn’t do any damage to my car. They were high on heroin, meth, and fentanyl and would take my car keys during the night. I regret letting them into my home and more. I kicked them out a few months ago and still have not received any type of payment to fix my car. The cops can’t do anything and neither can the insurance company. Currently, the price to fix my car is about 11K and some change.
With me working full-time and going to school full-time, I only make enough to cover rent, bills, daycare, and necessities. I don’t make enough to fix my car, or get a new car. This car is a necessity since we live in an area where driving is needed to get places and there is no bus system.

I want to get back on my feet and not have to worry whether or not my car is going to break down and we won’t be able to get places.

Any help would be appreciated

Thank you and God Bless

I’m drowning.. Please HELP!

Hello! I am a single mother of one. She just turned 18 in March and graduated high school in June. I have worked hard over the years to give her the best life that I could. Even if that meant spending on the credit cards so she didn’t know I didn’t have the money for it. I have racked quite a bit of debt over the years and it’s killing me. I make the minimum payments every month but it just isn’t enough. My car is starting to need some work done, and I’m driving around on bent wheels (which the dealership sold to me that way). I cannot afford to get it fixed. I can’t lose my transportation for work. I need help. I don’t know what else to do. I have been at the same job for almost 10 years. Finally asking for help!

Hello,

I am a 52 separated/divorced mother of one child, that is 26 years of age.  As soon as I married, everything went down hill, literally.  Knew him since I was 14 years old, I saved money since I was 7 delivering 1000 flyers and catalogs, twice a week.  I did that job until 13, then I started working in a bakery for a couple of years, moved to work the Customer Service Desk/Post Office at Zellers, then ended up eventually taking an office manager/legal assistant job with my boss that was an older gentleman that was an accomplished lawyer who also had other businesses such as owning buildings and renting out space, was a Trucker for a spell, etc., that collected old cars, ran the family farm and kept care of the books, distributing it accordingly to family (rented out homes and land), took care of all family members from grandparents to great grandchildren.  He was also was very close to his brother, Very Reverend O. Olekshy, Ukrainian Orthadox, and his daughter and grandchildren, he also became like a second father with family to me.  His best friends were The Honourable Allan Wachowich, former Chief Justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, Harold Smith of Harold Smith Travel, and oh so many more from that generation … always came in to “have a meeting” on most Fridays, smoking cigars and having their whiskey.  His wife was amazing, and I lost them both in 2003 and 2004, I am so proud that they were so kind. I had also started working for a partner in a firm full time when RO semi-retired.  I ended up having a breakdown at that firm, due to stress of mom ill, Dad slowly getting ahlzeimer’s, and I was ill as well and trying to figure it out, going and helping my cousin take care of her mom that was dying of cancer, who had just lost a daughter to the dame thing, taking care of my baby, chores, and finding out my ex was sleeping with my mate at work.  Actually, I was told I did not have a breakdown, I was ill, overworked, and treated like a dog, do you have anywhere to go … I said no, my child, my animals, my house that only I put money into (he brought debt), I felt broken.  I put him out the morning it became more physical and insulting than normal, in front of my daughter and her friend.  I ended up with black bruises on my body, and a soft ball on my head.  Sold the house and he was gleeful, all his debt was paid by my money I put into the house, and he wouldn’t talk of alimony, and would not pay child support as per the guidelines given he was making so very much more each year.  He paid a hundred here and there, and I was on welfare disability which he made fun of in front of our child, kicked me when I collapsed on the floor, in front of my daughter, and he didn’t file income tax for 14 years … didn’t want me to find out how much he made.  I got sicker, he told my daughter I was just lazy, and she should do as she wants and she did.  We don’t even talk, and it is still hard as bills are so high making so littl

I also have to take my brother to court, he has hated me always, just never showed it in front of mom and dad, I never told anything after he molested and threatened me (he is 6 years older).  He was worried, forced me out at 17 because he needed to save money, I didn’t, and so on.  At 33 I found out through a letter that I was adopted, did I want to meet my birth parents, I was in shock.  Mom and dad were hurt, they wanted me to be theirs always, different from my brother’s words.  My birth mother tried to put me in the hospital, with ex, daughter, and the main brother, but my doctor told them they are cruel and need to leave me alone, I know what I am talking about as she has known of the abuse since I was 16.  I couldn’t ever tell my folks or they would die, as I was told as a kid and it stayed with me sadly … I just never wanted them hurt.  He changed dad’s Will to delete me and include his wife, I was not a family member he told me, just someone that needed taking in.  I was picked up by my folk’s the day after I was born, and they loved me, brother did not and did something to me, it just never ended.  I let him have all if I could have the home that mom and dad promised me, but now he is wanting me out on the street as he wants to sell.  I have to finally deal with him, I couldn’t before, then I was kind, then hated because I was adopted and literally wish death upon me.

I am ready to deal with them, but haven’t been able to save a thing, plumbers, electricians, all because he wanted to get the cabin renovated from mom and dad’s to his first, I can live with it … but I can’t, I need to deal with the problems.  Then the bills add up due to it, my little old car, just everything, and I don’t get seen for a disease the doctors think I have until December.  That’s alright given I had a heart attack 12 years ago, and following the covid shot, I had a double sstroke .. just a mess.

I don’t expect anything really, not sure if I am beaten down so far that I don’t see, but I need help to start the process if possible.  I am so sorry for asking, and we can arrange for me to pay you back, as I am unable to even get a loan … was told yes today, then no, I don’t know anymore.  There is much to the story, and if you ask I will tell you, it just hurts and they still bother me, because they know I can’t afford anything so I can deal with them accordingl

I know I need three thousand to complete the divorce, and some to pay the stack of bills, but I can hopefully save some when I get alimony and child support going, and pay you back.  You are very kind to just read this, there is so much, and it’s ugly, I am so sorry

I thank you again for reading the same, it means alot.

4 kids, no family, no friends, suffer from Anxiety and PTSD.

Hello,

My name is Alejandra. I have 4 kids. My youngest is 5years old. I suffer from severe chronic PTSD. I have anxiety and bipolar depression. I get no help from family at all. We are very distant and I’ve tried making mends. My mother doesn’t call or ask about my kids, she doesn’t even know their birthdays at all. My children’s biological father is not around at all. Due to the fact that he is the reason for my PTSD. I have been going to therapy for about 5 years now and also seeing a psychiatrist. Have tried all kinds of meds and honestly I’ve come to a point where I’ve accepted that I will never look at another adult the same. And that I will not feel normal ever. But I am doing and trying my best. Due to this I am unable to work. I really have tried my hardest. I’ve applied to jobs I have gone to the interviews and in the middle or right before the interviews I start to get anxiety and then it worsens and then I cry my eyes out and and scared out my mind and all I can think about is are my kids ok I need to get to my kids. Because of my issues I also find it very hard to socialize and trust and approach and to be approached. I really feel like I am failing my kids because of this. Like I’m not good enough. All of this has been getting harder especially financially. I have been struggling more and more to provide food and to pay my rent. At least for 2 weeks out of the month I’m struggling to find ways to get food for my kids. I cry to myself at night. I was working on my credit and because of the cost of food really going up it has caused me to once again go into debt because I’ve used my cards to pay rent and catch up on utilities and buy groceries. Now I can’t even make the payments. I had to sell my car last year to not get evicted and now I don’t even own a vehicle to sell to pay my rent and not get evicted. I’m supposed to get 25$ a month for child support but it’s rare when I actually get anything. I’m asking for help to be able to pay my rent to get some groceries and enough to at least buy a little cheap used vehicle. I really do appreciate anything 🙏  it hurts me to fell that I am failing my kids and that once again I don’t have the money for the rent so it is a form sure that I will get evicted. What am I going to do? Where will my kids and I go. I know there are shelters but from what I have been told from calling the 211 help line is that the shelters are completely full right now. I don’t know what to do anymore. I feel like I’m not ever going to be able to just sit back and relax and take a breather for at least 5 minutes without stressing and feeling so lost. If you can help I really want to say thank you so much. I know the Lord Jesus Christ is going to bless you 10 times more. Thank you so much.

Urgent Help Needed for My Son’s Education

Dear Community,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Dilek, and I am a parent who is facing a challenging situation regarding my son’s education. I am reaching out to this compassionate community in the hopes of receiving some assistance.

Background: My son, Prince, is a bright and motivated young student. He dreams of pursuing higher education and making a positive impact on the world. Unfortunately, our family has encountered unexpected financial difficulties that are threatening his educational journey.

Financial Struggles:

Tuition Fees: The cost of tuition and textbooks has become overwhelming. Despite our best efforts, we are unable to cover these expenses on our own.

Living Expenses: Prince is attending Carleton University, and the cost of living in Ottawa is high. Rent, groceries, and transportation expenses are stretching our budget thin.

Technology Needs: With the shift to online learning, having a reliable laptop and internet connection is crucial. Unfortunately, we cannot afford the necessary technology upgrades.

Academic Stress: Prince is juggling part-time work, coursework, and family responsibilities. The stress is affecting his mental and physical health.

Dreams Deferred: He fears that without financial support, he may have to postpone or abandon his dreams of higher education.

Our Request: We are humbly asking for any assistance you can provide. Your generosity could make a significant difference in Prince’s life. Here’s how you can help:

Financial Donations: Even a small contribution can go a long way. Whether it’s covering textbooks, tuition, or living expenses, every dollar counts.

Scholarship Information: If you know of any scholarships, grants, or educational programs that Prince could apply for, please share them with us.

Moral Support: Your kind words and encouragement mean the world to us. Knowing that others care about Prince’s education gives us hope.

Promise of Gratitude: We promise to pay it forward. Once Prince achieves his educational goals, we will find ways to give back to the community and support others in need.

Thank you for taking the time to read our plea. If you can help or have any suggestions, please reach out to me via this platform.

We are eternally grateful for your compassion and support.

With heartfelt thanks, Dilek
