Trying to save my housing.

Hello,

Several weeks ago I had surgery on my spinal cord. The surgery was a necessity to have. Several doctors including my neurosurgeon, ER doctor and primary care stated if I don’t have the surgery,  I would have permanent damage. Dealing for months with pain, I had no choice but to proceed. Truly wasn’t prepared for the financial strain this would have. My daughter whose a college student lives with me. Bills are simply piling up. There’s times we’ve had little food. The little money I receive from disability doesn’t cover my expenses,  esp the rent. Here in AZ the eviction process pretty fast here and accelerates after receiving a 5 day notice. I clearly don’t want to lose my home while trying to recover from surgery.  Just my daughter and I here& homeless shelters are full and if availability hard to get into. Eventhough I may lose my car( behind 2 payments at 419.00 each), I definitely want to keep a roof over our heads.

I truly appreciate all who’s read my request and would appreciate any assistance.

Asking for 1450 for rent.

Need Emergency Rental Assistance

Hello I am here asking for help with my rental arrears.   I work very hard I actually run a mobile massage company but unfortunately I’m still recovering from the Pandemic.  I’m a licensed massage therapist so of course when the world stopped, my job was the 1st to go.  Once things started rolling again I was so in debt in still trying to reel myself out of it.  Of course I’m in credit card debt, bills etc.  I’m thankful I’ve made it this far but I’m now going through a drought with the work that I do and I financially take care of my 2 grandchildren while my daughter is in school and I’ve gotten so overwhelmed with back rent and credit cards that now I’m behind about 4 months in rent.  My rent office said they would work with me but it’s been hard.   I can’t seem to find any rental assistance here in Atlanta anymore so now I’m left with coming to this who can assist me and my family.  I’m not asking for anything extra but to get caught up with my rent.  If you can help us please do and it will be greatly appreciated.  Honestly I feel somewhat embarrassed but I have no other choice at this point.  1 day I pray to be in a position where I can help someone in this situation.

Thank you so much.

Help with bills

Subject: Request for Financial Assistance with Outstanding Bills

Dear whom it may concern

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you with great sincerity and hope, seeking your understanding and potential support in overcoming my current financial hardships. I find myself in a tough situation, struggling to manage my expenses and meet my financial obligations. I

Firstly, I want to emphasize that I am a responsible individual, always striving to fulfill my commitments, both financial and otherwise. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I have recently encountered difficulties in maintaining a stable income and have been unable to keep up with my bills.

[Explain the reason for your financial hardship briefly, e.g., job loss, medical emergency, reduction in work hours, or any other relevant circumstances]. Unfortunately, this has resulted in accumulating outstanding bills, including rent, utilities, medical expenses, and other essential costs necessary for my well-being and the stability of my household.

While I have exhausted all possible measures to minimize my expenses and seek alternative income sources, the situation remains pressing. I have explored government assistance programs and local community resources, but the available options are limited and insufficient to cover my current financial burdens.

Financially, I find myself in a helpless position, which affects not only my immediate well-being but also my long-term prospects. I fear that prolonged financial struggle could lead to severe consequences, such as eviction, utility disconnections, or worsening health conditions due to lack of medical care. As an individual who values stability and independence, this is an immensely distressing time for me.

Considering the aforementioned challenges, I humbly request your support in providing me with financial assistance to alleviate the burden of these outstanding bills. Your generous contribution will not only help me overcome this temporary setback but also provide me with the hope and stability I need to regain control of my life.

I understand that you may receive numerous requests for financial assistance, and I genuinely appreciate your time and consideration in reviewing my situation. I am open to discussing any terms or conditions you may have regarding the assistance provided and would be more than willing to provide you with any additional information or documentation that you may require.

Thank you for taking the time to read my request. I am hopeful that you will recognize the sincerity of my plea and extend your support during this challenging time. Your kindness and generosity would make an immeasurable difference in my life.

With heartfelt gratitude

Emergency Assistance Appeal: Rent and Bill Relief Fund

Dear Friends and Community,

We find ourselves at an incredibly challenging and heart-wrenching crossroads in life, and we are reaching out to you today with a humble plea for assistance. We are in desperate need of help to pay our rent, cover mounting bills, and arrange for the final farewell of a beloved family member. Your support means the world to us, and your kindness can make an immeasurable difference during this dark hour.

Over the past two years, our lives have been marked by the declining health of my girlfriend’s father, who lived with us and was our main source of income. As his health worsened, we watched his vitality slowly fade, and he became increasingly reliant on medical care. In the past few months, he was in and out of hospitals, which placed an enormous burden on my girlfriend as she assumed the role of his primary caregiver. Her dedication and love for her father made it impossible for her to maintain a steady job, leaving us financially vulnerable.

To add to our hardships, I lost my job last November, and after my unemployment benefits ran out, I turned to driving for Uber to make ends meet. However, it has been a constant struggle to keep up with our monthly expenses. Despite our best efforts, the income from Uber is insufficient to cover our basic necessities, let alone the mounting medical bills and funeral expenses that have been thrust upon us.

This past Saturday, my girlfriend’s father peacefully passed away. It was a somber moment, and while we mourn his loss, we are now faced with the harsh reality of arranging for his final resting place, a burden that we bear with heavy hearts. We want to provide him with the dignified farewell he deserves, but the financial strain has made this task almost insurmountable.

Our immediate concern is the impending rent, due in just five days, along with the accumulated bills that have been haunting us. The weight of these financial obligations is overwhelming, and we are reaching out to you, our friends, family, and community, in our time of need. Your generosity and support can help us secure our home, pay overdue bills, and provide a proper farewell to a man who meant the world to us.

Your contributions will not only alleviate our financial stress but also allow us to grieve without the added burden of debt. We humbly ask for your support and assistance during this trying period. Every dollar, every gesture of kindness, is a step toward easing our pain and helping us rebuild our lives.

In closing, we would like to express our deepest and most sincere thanks to everyone who extends a helping hand during our time of need. Your compassion and generosity will forever be etched in our hearts, reminding us of the goodness that exists in our community. We are immensely grateful for any support you can offer, and we look forward to the day when we can pay it forward to others in need.

Single Mom of 2 – Rent and Car assistance

I’m a 37 year old single mother of 2 boys, ages 12 and 8. Right off the bat I’m going to let you know I feel like a failure and also very vulnerable making this post. This past summer I ended a 5 year relationship which also resulted in having to find a new place to live + pay for everything on my own. I do not receive child support from their father, but I have a full time job and I also do food and grocery delivery when I can. My rent payment was returned from my bank this month because I didn’t have enough in my account to cover all the expenses. I’ve been trying to find a way to get caught up, but have not been successful. Now it’s almost the end of the month and the next payment will be due soon. I’ve had a pit in my stomach for weeks. My car payment and electric bill are also past due now. This month just snowballed, and I’m reaching out in hopes that someone can help me get back on my feet. I want to be a happier and more present mom for my kids. I don’t want the constant fear and stress or money to take that away from me. I truly appreciate any help you can give, and I hope to one day be on the other side of this to pay it forward. PayPal

Native American trying to make it in this urban world

I’ve had a good job for the past two years but I’m no longer with the company. I’ve been looking for a job for the past month and a half that will pay anything close to what I was making to pay my bills. I look at my rent app everyday and seeing how much I owe add up, honestly gives me anxiety at the moment it’s $3723.11. My rent for November is coming up and I don’t know how I’m going to get by. I’ve tried to reach out to churches and also rental assistance but unfortunately I haven’t gotten any help. I’m afraid of losing my apartment, along with everything I’ve managed to get through the past two years I’ve lived here. This is my first home and I really wouldn’t want to go back to the reservation I came from. There’s no opportunity there and nothing but drugs and bad choices. If I could please get any help. I would greatly appreciate it…

Help a hard worker avoid homelessness

For many years, I would always be the one giving away to charities.  I’d give $3 here or $5 there.  I could never give much, but it made me feel good to give something.  Always to people who had it worse than me.  Now, I’m at the bottom looking up.  I work a strenuous low-paying 40-hour a week job and suddenly it just isn’t enough.  After having to barrow several hundred dollars to repair my vehicle, I now face an uphill climb.  I have to choose between food, utilities, or pay rent.  I’ve already been warned that if rent isn’t paid on time, then I’d be facing a likely eviction process.  My landlord doesn’t mess around!  My family lives out of state and I don’t have friends that can just simply “take me in”.  My family has already given all they can and that’s why I’m on here.

I absolutely HATE having to ask for help, but desperate times call for desperate measures.  Any donation at all would help to ensure that rent is paid on time, loans are paid off, and that the lights don’t get turned off.  I can survive just fine on Ramen and peanut butter/jelly sandwiches.  If you can donate anything at all please give to paypal.me/Chuckloaf101

I am humbled and very appreciative to anyone who is able to help in this time of need.

Help This Stroke Survivor and His Family Rebuild Their Lives

Hi, I’m Al, a 48-year-old married father of one teen son.

Last year, I suffered a stroke that changed my life forever. I lost my copywriting job, my left hand function, and my energy. I’m grateful that I can still walk and talk, but I need your help to get back on my feet and support my family.

I live in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with my family. We have been living off our savings for the past year, but they are running out fast. Our monthly expenses are about $1,300, which include rent, food, a car loan and credit card repayments.

I’m not giving up on myself. I’m working hard to recover from the stroke and find a new source of income. I can still write thanks to my phone and AI. I’m creating SEO content for fun and for gigs now, and I’m looking for a steady income arrangement in that area.

But I need some time and some help to make it happen. That’s why I’m asking you to donate whatever you can to help me and my family survive for the next six months. I’m hoping to raise 7,800 USD, which will cover our basic needs until I can secure a more permanent job.

Your donation will go a long way in Malaysia, where 1 USD is almost 5 MYR, the local currency here. You can make a huge difference in our lives with just a few dollars.

Please help me and my family rebuild our lives after this devastating stroke. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and hope to meet you in heaven someday to thank you personally!

If you want updates on my progress, please leave your email address or Facebook link in the notes of your payment, thanks once again!

Immediate Financial Assistance Needed To Pay Rent

To whom this may concern:

Hello, my name is Tracy Simon, and I want to start off by truly thanking the person or persons that take the time out to read this message, as this is coming straight from my heart.  I’m so appreciative to any and all help that is provided to me.

I live as a single Mother/ Grandmother of my 2 precious grandkids, whom I love and adore very much.  My 28 year old daughter and 5 year old granddaughter live with me in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment.  I was originally living in my apartment by myself,  until both my daughters whom were living in their own apartment together had to leave suddenly due to not being able to afford paying their rent.  I didn’t have room for everyone, so my oldest daughter and granddaughter came with me.  My other daughter and my grandson went to stay with my Mother.  It was tight and not the most comfortable situation for my daughter and granddaughter living with me.  They had to result in sleeping in my living room on my sofa, basically turning that area into a bedroom/ play area for my granddaughter.  Things were getting cluttered and messy after some time, but we were trying to make the best of the situation.  My daughter was working, which was good, and she was helping me with some of the bills at that time.  My granddaughter was going to daycare, which was owned and operated by her other Grandmother. That was helpful to my daughter, as she didn’t have to worry about daycare expenses.  Everything was going ok for the most part, until she lost her job and wasn’t working, and is still unemployed currently.  That put the pressure on me to be put in a position of paying the rent, all the household bills, groceries, supporting my daughter/ granddaughter, and everything else by myself.  I was doing the best I could with paying the bills, even starting doing Uber Eats after working my full-time time job everyday.  The extra money from doing food deliveries was helpful to an extent, but it wasn’t quite enough.  I still got behind in paying rent, getting extentions for the electric bill, my car payment got behind, and I ended up not being able to afford paying my car insurance.  I knew I couldn’t let my car insurance lapse, due to needing it current  and active to allow me to continue doing Uber Eat deliveries.  I began to be stressed, overwhelmed and feeling overly tired from working my full-time job, doing Uber Eats,  and just trying to find any side hustles or gigs to make ends meet.  During this time was right after Covid hit, and the housing market including the rental market increased significantly.  My rent went from paying 1050.00 a month to now paying 1287.00 a month after 1 lease renewal.  I’m up for another lease renewal coming this November.  I’m trying not to renew a new lease again, as I know the rate will go up another 200.00- 250.00 increase.  I’ve applied for the House Choice Voucher Program- Section 8 through the local Housing Authority department and have been waiting since 2019 to receive my housing voucher.  This process of being on the waiting list and on hold, has been extremely duling and disappointing.  I don’t know why for the life of me, this state funded entity that’s supposed to be there to help those in need, would place people in contempt of eviction and becoming homeless before help is given to those that are seriously struggling to pay their rent.  With that being said, I’m in serious need of some financial help.  I’m now behind $2,141.39 in paying rent, in which i received a 3-day notice to pay or vacate the remises.  That’s including this month October’s rent plus all the late fees that’s been adding up from the past 4 months.  I would be so appreciative and highly grateful for $3000.00 to catch me up.  This would put me back at a comfortable place of paying the bills on time.  Hopefully, my daughter will be gainfully employed soon, and she will be able to get back on her feet to taking care of herself and her daughter.  That is my hope and prayer! 🙏🙏  Thank you!!❤️

IN DESPERATE NEED TO GET UP TO MY FEET AGAIN

I am kindly asking for help from anyone who is able to help me. As a single mother I have been through a lot to a point where I had to sell my house which I could not keep up with the bills. At the moment I am really struggling paying rent, I have utilised all the resources I had.

I have credits totalling to $30,000 but whatever I could helped with I will appreciate it. I would like to go back to school but at the moment I can not afford as I have to pay the car note and credit cards.

I even used my 401 to help me out, but now I have reached a dead end and I am pleading for help to lift up my back.  I am praying for guiding Angel to rescue me out of this darkness and stressful situation.

I fell at work  and broke my arm, this lead to disfiguring me and do require to go for adjustment 3 times a week, but due to financial restrain, I just go once a week.

Please I am begging, let this be answer to my prayers.

Thank you

Facing Homelessness

My name is Mylene and I have a dog who’s 7 years old, it’s a Staffordshire terrier Pitbull, Diezel Bumbum and he’s my best friend.   Up until a year ago, we we’re renting a home for 5 years, a place we called home, where we could lay our heads at night and feel safe but January 10/21 I found my boyfriend deceased in the bathroom.

The moment that happened, my whole world changed and I experienced grief for the first time.   Then the news of my landlord selling the property was shocking and devastating because we were going to lose a home we loved.  October 4 of last year, we ended up on the street because I was unable to secure another place that would allow me to have my dog.  Nothing can prepare someone for the shock of becoming homeless overnight, it’s a scary moment and you feel so helpless.

I managed to find a hotel that would allow dogs but the cost is quite extensive and now winter is just around the corner and I’m out of money.   I will never get rid of my dog because he’s the reason I get up every day despite feeling overwhelmed and stressed out, always wondering how we’re going to make it another day.  If I was able to secure a place where my dog is safe so that I can return to work, that would be the dream.  I hope everybody and anybody would give the shirt off my back and now I’m the one seeking a little help so that my dog and I don’t have to live outside in the cold.

I’m only asking for a little bit of money to stay afloat because I’ve always been a hard worker and I give back as much as I can so if anyone can stare a few dollars to help us out to get back on her feet to where we used to be, I would be utterly grateful.

I just want to say thank you for everyone who takes the time to read my plea for help during this time of struggle and I promise to pay it forward.

A Little Extra Push

To whom this may concern,

I’m a millennial seeking financial help to gain financial stability. Unfortunately I was working for a restaurant that, fortunately managed to make it through covid, but shortly after couldn’t sustain and closed. As a result of the closure, I lost income, losing financial control abruptly, falling behind on bills, rent, etc. I’m hard working and I’m currently seeking a job that will help to cover all my financial needs. Falling into this financial bind has caused me to go into a horrible state of depression, as I worry constantly about providing for myself. I believe if I had just a “financial push” it could really be the stepping stool for me to have a better future. I would be able to put gas in my car to get back and forth to job interviews and continue to help the youth in my Youth Group.

The Pleasant Crew

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Armisha Smith, and I am a veteran facing a dire situation that has left my family on the brink of eviction and struggling to meet basic needs.

My husband, also a veteran, suffered a debilitating stroke in 2021 and has been unable to work since. Despite his recovery, returning to work is contingent upon suitable accommodations due to ongoing health concerns. Meanwhile, we are three months behind on our car loan, facing imminent eviction, and struggling to pay essential utilities.

Compounding our difficulties, I recently lost my second job, which was a significant part of our household income. Our son, who had been helping financially, had to move out, leaving us with even fewer resources.

The stress of these circumstances has taken a toll on my own health, resulting in medical issues that I must now confront.

We are reaching out to you, not only as fellow veterans but as individuals in genuine need of assistance. We humbly request any guidance, resources, or aid you can provide to help us avoid eviction and navigate this challenging period.

Your kindness and support would mean the world to us as we work tirelessly to rebuild our lives and emerge from this difficult chapter. We understand that countless individuals face similar hardships, but we remain hopeful and grateful for any assistance you can offer.

Thank you for taking the time to read our appeal. Your consideration and compassion are deeply appreciated.

Sincerely,

Armisha Smith
