Hello , first thank you for even having somewhere to share what’s been going on and for offering a helping hand. My husband was let go from his job a few weeks ago and during that time we had already been struggling to get our hot water cut back on as well as our cellphones , once his check arrived it was only $192 and our rent was due soon. I received my check of $603 after we were expecting them to correct his check after he was fired and they did not. We are 25 and 26 newly wed and our just trying to make it out here in Atlanta , Georgia. We have a late fee on our rent of $200 and my car is on notice for repossession with $590 past due bringing just our rent to $1700 not including our car ..with only $800 to our names. Hello, I am a new Mother, who has been experiencing postpartum depression. Not just from hormonal changes, but I also lost my sister last year in a very horrific way and 4 days after giving birth I was fired from my job for reasons unknown. Hello, about three months ago I was let go from my job due to my supervisor disliking my sexual orientation. I had been work at the company for a little over a year and I never had any complaints or problems with any of my coworkers. However once the supervisor found out from other people I was gay he began to treat me unfairly compared to my other coworkers. I would constantly get picked on and reprimanded for “not doing my job” by this supervisor when I had never had any prior problems since I had started. I would let it go because I really needed the job but  I had finally had enough and went to HR. Going to HR was probably the worst thing I could’ve done they told me I didn’t have enough evidence of what I was claiming but that they would investigate further. They did not investigate at all and all they ended up doing was telling the supervisor what I had said was going on. I believed me going to HR would be confidential but I found out they had told him when I was called into his office and was reprimanded once again for gossiping about him. At this point I knew HR would not help and I was basically going to have to endure what was going on in order to keep my job. This only got worse. He would mess with my schedule and have me close at 1am and open the next day at 6am. He would make me unload deliveries on my own when we had someone specifically hired to do so and I kept constantly being picked on whenever he stepped into the store. In August of 2023 I had asked for my days off because I had planned a small trip. I was given the days but when I came back I was stopped my my supervisor and was told I was being suspended. I was not allowed to work and a couple weeks later I was called by HR and they let me know that due to complaints by the supervisor I was no longer going to be employed by the company and they let me go. This completely blind sided me and I was left without a job. I’ve been looking for a job for these past months and have not had any luck with call backs. While working at this company I was living paycheck to paycheck and now that I’m unemployed I have no money for this months rent or bills and I am scared for what will happen if I don’t find a job soon. I’ve tried to apply for unemployment but was denied due to being fired from my previous job. Loving who I love, my sexual preference, should not be any reason to fire me. I am a hard worker and good person. It is unjust and unfair, I was born this way and I can’t change who I am. This whole situation has put me into a deep depression and I’m anxious and scared because I am struggling to make ends meet, my rent is past due and I was only given a couple days and to pay $2,700 and right now I only have $100 of that and I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what else I can do so I’m hoping this reaches someone who is willing to help. At this point I’m looking for a miracle to help pull me out of this situation.

I take care of my lil brothers and things have gotten harder for me each day that passes. I’m having to seek help from others on this website because I have nobody else to turn to. I  usually have it all figured out on my own. So, I apologize if everything I type seems all over the place. I am not working currently because of two consecutive accidents.

In March of 2022, someone drove into the back of my car causing me to have six surgeries and the same amount of procedures. In September of 2023, someone drove into my car again, just when the doctor cleared me 75% word ready.

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to listen to my story. I know there are a lot of people in the world needing help, and I am not one to ask someone for help, but I ran into a situation that I feel is justified.

My story is pretty short: so I lost my job on October 6, 2023, and I need some financial leverage to help me get through a bit of a rough spot with my finances. My job told me that my job was ending on Oct 6 and that I had one week to complete my assignments. I am a Web Content Manager of 15 years. I have worked for some pretty big companies and have managed to work my way up in my last position.  I was awarded and praised for my excellent work, willingness to go above and beyond, and never taking a sick day for over a year and a half.  I was also given a raise two weeks before I was let go.  So basically, I was praised, raised, and then told two weeks after that my department was going in a different direction.  Not knowing the fate of my job, I was so excited because I got a raise and felt my job was somewhat secure. I wanted to treat myself, so I bought a new car, only to be told two weeks later I would not have a job.  I have always been a hard worker and had to overcome many challenges having Asperger and ADHD, so it’s been a tough road to get where I am.  I know another position will come, but in the meantime, I am trying to get through the next couple of months to survive and pay my upcoming bills.  Once again, I wouldn’t say I don’t like asking for handouts, but life sometimes wants to kick you when you are down.
