Hello, I am in need of some financial assistance and I was not sure where to turn, with the majority of people struggling with some type of financial crisis. Due to Covid I have been out of work since April 2021, with that said I have tried to turn a negative into a positive by utilizing my notary commission to start a side gig doing notary and loan signing work. Once the unemployment ended that is exactly what did, I started “notarizations “ and it worked out okay for awhile until I realized that the pay would be 30-45 days after the work was completed. Waiting 30-45 days for payment is just horrible! This is my only income and sometimes the work is not guaranteed regularly, so I have since signed up with multiple companies but the pay days are still the same. Sometimes I could a week or two before I get an assignment, not to mention that once I do get some checks I’m already late with my bills. I have expenses to be able to do signings I.e. paper, ink, internet, cell, license renewal and the main bill is Rent. You may be saying just get a full time job? Well, I have been looking for work since April, which is a requirement for unemployment and to this day I am still looking but my passion is to work for myself and help others. I would have never guessed that I would be here, on this site reaching out in the hopes that someone will find it in their hearts to help a stranger but here I am. What I need help with is my rent, I have already let my landlord know I will be late and I’m so grateful that he understands considering that I have never been late except for last month and this month. But this month I just don’t see a way out without help. My rent is $740 a month and it’s late this month and I’m hoping I get enough signings this month so I can be able the pay my rent for April because the little work I did this month I will not get until the middle or end of May. Rent will be late again but hopefully I will have made enough to pay it. Last month I did not make enough to cover my rent and that’s what I need help with. If you can find it in your hearts to help me I would appreciate it dearly. I’m just trying to survive this storm. I know this is only a temporary problem for me right now. I know this site asks for pics but I don’t have a pic of my rent not being paid but I do have text to my landlord letting him know I will be late but I would like to get it to him as soon as possible it’s already the 10th. I must say to you, that I know I’m not the only person in a bind or struggling but I hope you will consider helping me. I know in my hearts of hearts that this too shall pass and one day I will be on the other side where I will be the one the lend a helping hand.
