Helping Dad

I moved in with my father earlier this year he has COPD, diabetes, he has had heart problems; including a double  bi-pass, and he needed help. He is a good Father and a good guy he is proud and should be , but he has trouble asking for help. That being said he is 70 lives on disability and its not enough. I can take care of him his house, and car but I need more money to actually be helpful. I have gone back to college full time so I don’t have much money to help with medical expenses, home, and car repairs. My siblings help when they can, but it is just when they can. They are great and we are grateful for them but that help just isn’t enough. Dad and I are swallowing our pride to ask for help. We need it. Thanks!

Nick Zahner

I am asking for $10,000 to get through the end of the year

Any help is appreciated

I never thought I would have to ask for help but its got to the point that my wife & I are struggling financially. I had a heart attack back in January 2016 & had to have 2 stints put in. Both of the blockages were in what’s called the widowmaker artery of the heart. At the end of May 2016 I suffered another heart attack where the stints were placed from the 1st heart attack. This heart attack damaged my heart & I had to have emergency open-heart surgery. But anyway, long story short. I ended up only having about 30-35% ejection fraction of my heart & thats with medication. Later, after I healed up from surgery I returned to working. I wasn’t able to do any hard physical work like I use to but I continued to work to the best of my ability. I did struggle with depression & had to take medication. After trying a few different ones I finally found one that has helped me the most so far. In January of this year (2024) I had a car accident. I hit a patch of ice & lost control of my car & I smashed into a tree. It totalled my car & I ended up with whiplash & got a concussion. With all of my health issues plus my most recent issues & still staying light-headed & dizzy I am still out of work. I am drawing long term disability from my work. It’s not a lot but it helps with the important bills like our house payment & car payments. Even with my wife’s income we still can’t pay all of our bills. We have been depending on what we have on credit cards just for every day expenses. They are almost maxed out & we can’t afford to pay them down. Plus I have thousands of dollars in bills & we can’t afford to pay on them. We are in dire need of financial help if anybody could help us out. Thank you for any help.

Please help our family

My husband suffered a very life threatening heart attack a few years back.  He coded for 7 minutes while I attempted to save him by performing CPR.  After a lengthy hospital stay and extensive rehab, he was able to survive, with a disability.  He now has a brain injury.  He lost his job because he cannot complete tasks.  We have thousands in medical bills to pay.  I am working 2 jobs and taking care of him in our home.  We have 2 children who were affected by this and we’re not able to go to college.  This has turned our lives upside down and to now have to worry about money every month for us to all survive in our home has become so overwhelming we may lose everything.

Step moms cancer payments!

As many of you know, my step mom, Barbie mowery, has been bravely battling cancer for the past year. Despite the countless doctor’s appointments, surgeries, and treatments, her determination and strength have inspired us all. However, the road to recovery is long and challenging, and the financial burden is taking a toll on our family.

As her primary caregiver, I’ve seen firsthand the impact this disease has had on her life. She’s had to give up her job, her hobbies, and even her favorite activities just to focus on getting better. But despite all this, she remains optimistic and grateful for every moment she gets to spend with loved ones.

However, the medical bills are piling up, and we’re struggling to keep up with the costs. Chemotherapy sessions, radiation treatments, and medication are just a few of the expenses that are weighing heavily on our shoulders. As a result, we’re facing a difficult decision: either go into debt or compromise on my step mom’s care.

That’s where you come in. Your support would mean the world to us. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, would bring us one step closer to providing my step mom with the care she needs to beat this disease. Your donation would help cover some of the following expenses:

  • Medical bills: chemotherapy sessions, radiation treatments, medication, and hospital stays
  • Transportation costs: gas, parking, and travel expenses for doctor’s appointments
  • Living expenses: food, rent/mortgage, utilities, and other essential necessities while my step mom focuses on her treatment

Your generosity would not only ease our financial burden but also give my step mom peace of mind knowing that we’re doing everything possible to support her recovery. Every dollar counts, and every moment matters.

Here are some ways you can help:

  • Donate online through paypal.me/MalcolmMcInnis609
  • Share this message with your network to spread awareness about my step mom’s journey
  • Organize a fundraiser event or volunteer your skills to help us raise money

Every bit counts, and every share helps us get closer to our goal. Let’s work together to help my step mom overcome this challenge and get back to living life to the fullest.

Thank you for your love and support during this difficult time.

Urgent Assistance with Medical Bills

For the past 7 years I have been declared disabled. I was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis. I was born with a defective spinal cannel opening that narrows in my lower lumbar. So I live with chronic pain on a daily basis.

Two years ago I suffered my first heart condition that resulted in my left Ventricle being 95% blocked. I received a stent and began recovery. Just two months ago I suffered a heart attack while attending a family reunion in Jacksonville Fl. Fire rescue had to take me to the hospital and I was admitted. After a week the Cardiologist felt that I was stable enough to make the journey back home and I was released.

Once I returned home I had to be hospitalized for extremely high blood pressure and kidney failure. Now the hospital bills are coming in and I don’t have the money to pay them. At the present time my bills are over $9,000 and more to come. I am facing some tough times now and I really need help.

Any and all donations would greatly appreciated. Send donations to cashapp  $cotton5729

Bilateral Mastectomy NIGHTMARE

I have had over eight surgeries since June of 2022, and my surgeon made a massive mistake by accidentally burning the inside tissue of my right breast when she tried to replace my ten-year-old implants from breast cancer in 2014.  The burn, because it was inside my body, made me extremely sick, and I needed the right breast excised and replaced over three different times. Finally, I was left with a HUGE left implant and ZERO breast on the right. I had to ask for help to get the proper surgeon to help me get the rest of the new tumor that was found because he is a specialist that is not covered by medical.  So far, I have had to pay over $52,000, which includes the cost of the surgeries, hospital stays, medications, and post-operative care, to have the rest of the tumor cut out of my left axilla. Because the boob she made a mistake on was not the side of my body that had the new tumor, the medical system does not believe that fixing my boobs is a medical necessity.  I can attest that they are completely off; I am not married and still have plenty of life in me. However,  I have two more surgeries left to make the right boob somewhat match the left; I have not been able to do regular work duties because I am a yoga instructor and have had so many doctor appointments that I have not been able to live an everyday life at all.

Please be merciful and help me get back some of the $52,000. The following two surgeries are out of pocket again because they are considered cosmetic by the medical system. I will be incredibly grateful to anyone who is able and willing to help. I would greatly appreciate anything at all.   My Paypal is https://paypal.me/bestbodybybynay?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US

That Dragon Cancer

Dear Givers,

My name is Brittany, and I’m writing to you with a heart overflowing with love for my incredible family, and a desperate plea for help for our precious daughter, Abby.

Our family faces a seemingly insurmountable challenge. In February, our vibrant 12-year-old daughter, Abby, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. A cancer diagnoses that is likely terminal. It feels like the world stopped spinning, and all our plans for the future vanished. But Abby, with her infectious smile and fighting spirit, is the reason we keep going.

Life hasn’t been easy for us. We currently rely on disability benefits to make ends meet. Our youngest son, Connor, is autistic, and our eldest, Christopher, overcame epilepsy at 8 but still faces cognitive challenges as a result of his past seizures. Despite the struggles, our home is filled with love and laughter as our children are our greatest gifts.

Abby’s fight requires a specialized diet with expensive organic foods, essential supplements, and constant travel for treatment. Insurance, as you know, can only do so much. There are promising therapies we believe could offer her a better chance, but they are financially out of reach.

We wouldn’t be reaching out if we didn’t have a glimmer of hope. Any support you could offer would be a miracle for our family. It would ease the burden of medical bills, open doors to potentially life-saving therapies, and most importantly, allow us to create lasting memories with Abby.

We are a family fighting for more time with our daughter, more chances to experience joy together. Even a small gesture from you, could be a life-changing moment for Abby and our entire family.

Thank you for taking the time to consider our plea. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness and the inspiration you all bring to the world.

With deepest gratitude,

Brittany and Jordan

Help Larissa Access Life-Saving Treatment for a Rare Syndrome

Hi everyone,

My name is Larissa Emiliano Rodrigues Costa, and I am a 28-year-old single mom to a wonderful 7-year-old boy. Since November 2023, I’ve been battling severe health issues, resulting in eight hospitalizations so far. I have been diagnosed with Familial Mediterranean Fever, an ultra-rare, incurable autoinflammatory syndrome caused by a mutation in the MEFV gene. This condition leads to numerous complications, including sepsis, recurrent gastrointestinal infections, and lung and kidney infections. These are not bacterial infections but inflammatory attacks from my own body.

The inflammations mainly target my abdominal organs, causing excruciating pain that requires intravenous medications like morphine, fentanyl, and methadone to manage. I also need IV medications to help me eat and sleep.

When I’m not in the hospital, I rely on strong and expensive medications to manage my pain, such as Buprenorphine patches, which I need to change every five days.

Despite all these efforts, these treatments only manage the symptoms. For effective treatment, I need a genetic sequencing test for the MEFV gene. Unfortunately, this test is very expensive and has been denied by my health insurance. Without it, I cannot receive proper treatment or access a critical immunobiological medication called ILARIS (canakinumab), which I need every 45 days. Each dose of ILARIS costs approximately $20,000.

As a single mom, my biggest hope is to be there for my son, to watch him grow, and to be able to take care of him. Your support can make a significant difference in my life and health. Any contribution, big or small, will be deeply appreciated.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Sincerely,

Larissa Emiliano Rodrigues Costa

Mom with terminal Illness desperately seeks help

Hello,

I was diagnosed with lung cancer in  spring of 2021 after losing my mother to cancer only 6 months earlier. As a 33 year old mom of 6 kiddos myself, I have struggled to not only remain strong, but balance my children’s needs, bills, and medical expenses for myself. As a result of not having insurance and not being able to financially manage everyone’s needs, my health was put aside, and subsequently, deteriorated.
After also being diagnosed late last year with two thoracic blockages making it impossible for me to lift my arms without losing circulation, I became unable to work, and was informed that without treatment of my combined illnesses, I had maybe 2 years at best.
My children are 12, 9, 9, 7, 7, and 5. Although I’ve tried to do my very best for my kids, I can’t afford the $130,000 in medical expenses to treat the cancer and repair the blockages in my chest. We are struggling now more than ever since I’ve been unable to work and have exhausted all my resources.
I’m at an all-time low and my heart hurts knowing that not only are my children going without, but they may also soon be without a mama if I don’t get the medical care I so desperately need.
So I’m humbly asking anyone who may be able to, to help me continue fighting for my life and my babies. Every little bit helps and it is appreciated more than words could ever express!

Thank you ever so much,

A desperate mama

Military Veteran seeks Help

After serving 12 years in the U.S. Army as a helicopter Huey Crew Chief, fighting for our country, I entered the civilian job market as a manufacturing engineer. I;ve worked hard my whole life to support a family of four. I started paying in on social security at age 12 and had little gaps in my work life.

Then two years ago I broke my back on my property and had to have 2 muscles reattached with 3 anchors on my left leg. While I was in the hospital my property began to have things stolen. I didn’t have any family to check on it. Criminals stole a fifth wheel, all the vehicles there, my solar panels and equipment. Two huge water tanks, my forklift, water trailers, and a tow vehicle. All my belongings were scattered, and the wiring was ripped out of my home. They then burnt my house and surrounding buildings to the ground with accelerant to cover their tracks.

After getting out of the hospital I was devastated, as I didn’t have any insurance and then I found out I couldn’t even wright it off on my taxes. New tax rules cover only natural disasters like flooding. I have no retirement after working 50 years and put everything I had into my property.

I really appreciate people that thank me for my service, and I know God has a plan for me, so I’m just looking for some compassion and donations to help me through the pain and mounting debt that I face.

Thank you and may God bless you.

Diagnosed and Let Go due to Diagnosis

Hello, I was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis while being at the doctor for a spinal injury at work and am asking for $5000 or whatever you can help with for medical bills. I injured my spine while at work and my place of employment let me go three days after my injury because they said my work performance was not up to par. I can’t work at the moment due to doctor’s restrictions, and I no longer have insurance to cover anything.

I realized the world doesn’t stop for anyone but I am asking if anyone could help me through this confusing and difficult time by helping me pay for some of these medical bills while I’m injured and cannot work. I’m hoping to raise $5,000 to help pay for a piece of my medical expenses. At this point, anything will help. I appreciate you more than you will ever know.

Urgent Assistance for Medical Bills

Recently this year, I was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder named “Idiopathic intracranial hypertension” (IIH). IIH is a rare condition where your body produces too much cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the skull, putting pressure on the brain and optic nerve. If left untreated, it can cause permanent blindness.
Since being diagnosed, I’ve had to undergo multiple tests such as MRIs and lumbar punctures. This has made it a struggle to keep up financially, such as a bill of $3800 that I cannot afford.

I’m asking for any assistance and donations with medical bills as much as possible, because I’m afraid this condition could get worse if I’m unable to afford any further treatment.

Medical Bills after Heart Attack

Not sure where to start with this. I am in my 60s and for the better part of my life, I made terribly bad financial decisions. I own those bad decisions. They were all on me. I realize I cannot correct my past. In November 2023, I suffered a widow maker heart attack. For about a week prior to that, I was having chest pains, but I thought it was heartburn. However, this one day, the pains became more intense. I drove to the emergency room. I was coherent. I was moving freely. But the pain was intense. I was immediately seen by hospital personnel. After about an hour or so of being hooked up to multiple machines and personnel coming in doing various tests, the doctor walked in and informed me I had a heart attack. He called it a “Widow Maker”. He also told me that if I had waited one more day or so, I would have died. However, he did tell me, they would be instilling a stent the following morning and he fully expected me to be ok.

That night, as I was laying in my hospital bed with wires hooked up to all the monitors, I could not stop reliving my past. Things I should have done differently. How stupid I was. I had these thoughts over and over again. I hardly slept. If I had died, I would have gone to my grave with absolutely nothing. I have a full-time job as a lab courier. I love the job because I feel like I am helping people who are having medical problems. I am the person getting their specimens to the lab as quickly as possible so they can get the results as quickly as possible. The downside of my job is I live paycheck to paycheck.

The stent installation went well. I watched it all on the monitor. I was amazed by it. The Doctor who performed it was incredible. I never felt more at ease. But once again, after I was taken to the floor for recovery, all I kept thinking about was my past and how I could change things since I got a second chance at life. My first immediate concern was and is today, how am I going to pay for these medical bills. As I mentioned, I have nothing in savings. I literally live paycheck to paycheck. I was discharged from the hospital the following day. It was at that point; I felt a sense of relief that I survived a heart attack but at the same time I began to stress out the upcoming medical bills. Eventually the billing statements started to roll in. Each and every day, the thought of paying these bills never leaves my mind. The debt. All I think about is the debt I have. I am never going to be able to enjoy any type of retirement whatsoever. I will be working until the day I leave the earth UNLESS by the grace of the higher power, I get help financially. I want to be debt free so I can contribute the maximum I can out of each paycheck to a 401k for the next ten years. Between that and social security, I might just get a chance to have a simple retirement. Nothing special. No mansions. Just a small apartment potentially taking care of a little dog that will provide me companionship. Today, I am asking for $29,515. That is my total debt. I am asking for your help in reaching that goal. I want to make the most out of my second chance at life. Thank you and God Bless you.

Help Save a Hero: Support a Marine and Firefighter in Honor of His Late Wife

Dear Friends,

Imagine dedicating your entire life to serving others, only to find yourself facing an insurmountable challenge alone. My grandpa, a proud Marine and dedicated firefighter, has spent his life protecting our country and community. He has been a pillar of strength, courage, and unwavering service. But now, in the twilight of his years, he faces a heartbreaking and daunting battle – one that he cannot win alone. The recent loss of my grandma, his beloved wife of over 50 years, has left a void that words cannot describe. Her passing, due to a long and arduous battle with cancer caused by exposure to contaminated water at Camp Lejeune, not only took away his lifelong companion but also brought severe financial strain that threatens to take away their cherished home.

My grandparents’ house has been a sanctuary, a place where countless memories were made, and love was shared. It is where they raised their children, welcomed grandchildren, and hosted family gatherings filled with laughter and warmth. Losing this home would be more than losing a piece of property; it would be erasing the tangible essence of their shared lives and the foundation of our family’s history.

As my grandpa struggles with the profound grief of losing his wife, he now faces the overwhelming fear of losing his home. The medical bills from my grandma’s final days have created an urgent financial crisis, exacerbated by the fact that the government is holding off on any payments he is due. At a time when he should be finding solace and peace, he is instead burdened with the anxiety of impending loss.

In a desperate bid to stay afloat, my grandpa has been selling almost everything he owns. I have also maxed out all my resources to help him, working two jobs while attending school full-time. Despite our best efforts, we still face a formidable financial gap.

We need to raise $300,000 to save my grandpa’s home and provide him with the stability and security he so desperately needs and deserves. This amount will cover the outstanding mortgage, medical bills and all other outstanding and maxed out bills, ensuring he can continue to live in the place filled with the memories and love of a lifetime spent with my grandma.

Your generosity can make an immeasurable difference. By contributing to this cause, you are not just donating money; you are honoring a hero, preserving a home, and providing hope to a family in desperate need. Every dollar brings us closer to lifting the heavy burden off my grandpa’s shoulders, allowing him to grieve without the added stress of financial instability. It ensures that he can stay in the home that holds so many precious memories, surrounded by the love and support of his family and community.

Please, help us give back to a man who has given so much. Together, we can make sure that my grandpa’s remaining years are filled with the comfort and security he has earned through a lifetime of sacrifice. Your support is more than a donation; it is a beacon of hope and a testament to the power of community and compassion.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
