This past winter I was walking with my dog in Florida  someone tired to shoot my dog, hitting me in the leg.  This has greatly affected my ability to function on a daily basis as it has affected me physically and emotionally. I worked in the real estate industry however I can no longer stand or walk well so I am forced to do whatever I can from home.  I also suffer from ptsd not allowing me to function in certain situations.  I recently could no longer afford my apartment of 5 years and have been forced to move out leaving me in a transient situation hopping from place to place, making earning any kind of money even more difficult.  My car has also been left in the shop, it was dropped months ago before I was hurt, and I have not been able to pay it.  The dealership has been charging me to keep it there. It was dropped before the incident then put to the side while I was in the hospital, as it wasn’t in my priority list until now when I’m in need of it again.   I have applied for assistance programs however these take a long time to be approved and I am in need of funds asap to try and secure a secure apartment I’m on the verge of homelessness.  I have used up any resources I had in savings and borrowing from friends and family. I am trying to get back on my feet, I am a hard worker but this past year dealing w this incident has been difficult for me and anyone close to me seeing me deal with it.  I am looking for money to secure a permanent apartment so I can rebuild my life again.  Not having a stable home has been one of the major setbacks in me getting my life back on track. On August 6, 2021 I set out to start up being a owner operator in the trucking industry, only after a year the freight prices dropped significantly where I could barely keep up financially then my truck had a major break down costing me over $15,000 for repairs, I now started to live paycheck to paycheck to payoff that repair in which I couldn’t manage to pay the quarterly taxes, last month I received a letter from IRS stating I owe $9,000 in unpaid tax for last year. I come here today to humbly ask for help.  I have never done something like this, I came across a YouTube video and they mentioned this site. I hope its worth a shot.  I put in the category emergency money because I was not one hundred percent sure as so many things apply here..    I am here today because in June I was walking to get lunch for the family, through a field and down a very steep hill, on the way back I ran up the hill, as I have done hundreds of times before, this time little did I know it would change the next 5 months of my life and still continuing to.   On the way back running up the hill I hit a hole or soft patch of ground and twisted my knee tumbling all the way back down.  Unable to stand up with or without help I couldn’t get up an had to call an ambulance and was taken to the ER.  Turned out I had fractured my tibia.  Doctor called it a  tibial plateau fracture, along with pulled ACL, LCL, sprained ankle and pulled Achilles.     I have missed so much work and bills are continuously piling up.  Three months ago my fiancés work changed her schedule to three days a week.  Since I was kid I have collected “junk silver”, mercury dimes, war nickels etc. I had to sell my whole collection, that wasn’t much but it helped out till it didn’t, so I against my better judgement  had to take out a  loan, I feel now like that was a terrible idea no matter how much it helped. We just can not catch a break.  Car notes are falling behind, we are running out of groceries and other things that are necessary such as band aids, peroxide,  soap, laundry detergent.  Along with other bills, phone, internet (I work from home so its a must) and the main thing RENT.   Fortunately our landlord has been understanding, but they can only take so much also.   Then there are things for the kids, one plays trombone(rented from school), spelling bees, field trips, lunches.  We have hit and scraped the bottom of the barrel since July.  I am embarrassed for even having it gotten to this far out of control.   I appreciate your time here today and sorry for such a long post, I don’t know the amount that it will take to get us out of this rut, but we all would be extremely appreciative of anything anyone can help out with.   Thank you in advance.

I am writing to you in a time of great hardship and desperation. On August 26, 2023, a fire engulfed my laundry room, leaving my home in ruins. Thankfully, I survived, but the aftermath has been overwhelming.

Discovering that my insurance only covered the bank’s interests was a devastating blow. The house requires extensive restoration due to mold, mildew, and smoke damage, leaving me homeless. Living in a hotel has become unsustainable, and I face eviction on Monday, November 13, 2023.

Compounding my challenges, my vehicle was intentionally destroyed, leaving me without transportation. My mother, who bought me a car last Christmas, is battling stage 2 lung cancer. Additionally, my oldest daughter got married recently, and I couldn’t attend due to unforeseen circumstances.

I’m in desperate need of assistance to secure a place to live and a reliable vehicle. If possible, I seek help in obtaining a camper as a temporary home until my house is restored. Financial aid for a new vehicle or repairs to my existing one would also be immensely appreciated.

I understand the gravity of my request and feel a sense of discomfort seeking help. Both my parents retired from IBM 35 years ago, and my mother is doing her best to support me amidst her health struggles.

Myself , my daughter and husband . ( we were married but not legally married,  didn’t have his birth certificate.  They will take half my income . If we are legally married) but I understand as it is ..we are still married in God’s eyes. That’s good enough for me.

Anyway , I found a home for $30,000 …rent is our highest bill. If I didn’t have rent I could hire someone to work with my autistic daughter, who is 26 years old.  I would like her to be more self sufficient and independent.

I,m 63 , Crystal..my daughter , is from a previous relationship.  And will go live with my son when I die. So I would like someone to work with her as I am obese,  waiting to have weightloss surgery.  After ten minutes on my feet , i,m in pain. My energy level and muscle mass is decreasing. I have pain in my back and joints. Everyday.

After my surgery I will have more energy and better health. But still limited as I am a senior citizen.

Owning our own home will free up some finances.

Also the doctors won’t see my daughter without guardianship papers . Wich cost $2,000….this of course is  my most earnest need. And with this need ment ,I possibly could get a aid maybe once a week ..paid for by medicare. Wich isn’t sufficient but would help.
